Cons: "The check-in process at Heathrow is a chaos. I’m not sure who’s responsible, between the Airlines or the Airport. It sholuld arrange separate rows between those already check-in online and the others. I also saw the officials let some (1-5) group of (3-8) people each bypass the long queue, without reasons. The seat and leg space are so narrow that the direct 10+hour- flight is not so comfortable."
Pros: "Friendly staff and crew. Flight went as well as possible over the mountains from BKK to CNX."
Cons: "Took bus from gate to a different gate. Had to walk up three sets of stairs to walk on to a jet bridge that was connected to the main airport. In flight snack would have been better not consumed. No illness, just didn't sit too well."
Pros: "Huge plane that wasn’t full so it was very comfortable. Boarding was quick especially since I’m a Star Alliance Gold member so was one of the first on the plane. Pros: "For such a short 1 hour flight, they managed to feed an A330 plane load of people - pretty impressive feat considering that US carriers don’t even bother to give complimentary hot food on a cross country flight. The color scheme didn’t hurt either. The FA’s were very accommodating and so pleasant."
Pros: "Very nice and friendly staff. We were fed a small meal on a very short flight."
Cons: "Ran an hour behind schedule. We boarded on time and then got delayed waiting for air traffic control. Landed about 40 mins later. Considering it an was an hour flight, a little annoying. We didn’t have another flight to catch or somewhere to be, but it could have been troublesome for others."

You won’t have time to do anything stead check in, go directly to inspection, after to migration to finally go straight ahead to the gate to hopefully have time to enter in the flight... to tide"
Pros: "Great crew, great service"
Cons: "Could use a greater reclining angle in economy."
Pros: "The flight attendants were pleasant and so was the flight."
Cons: "The food, I don't eat meat and would like some other options. For such a long flight there should definitely be more leg room and agility to recline"
Pros: "I normally fly Delta (Platinum member), but the price this time I thought was ridiculous. I bought the flight on Cathay for 45 percent less and actually I found the service and food quality was better. Both seats were about the same in comfort......So I would do it again"
Cons: "A Economy flight is an economy flight....what else can I say"
Pros: "Very efficient with the timing of take off and landing. The crew members were lovely and polite."
Cons: "The time was a bit awkward esp the overnight flight back from Colombo to Hong Kong left us shattered all day long as the seats are too small and congested which makes it difficult for us to sleep or even sit comfortably. Wish they arranged the flight to earlier times."
Pros: "The airline crew. Very attentive and immaculate"
Pros: "that is great flight. I'm very with fight"
Cons: "tiket issuing time some has mistake than we want to change very big problem, that take a hour and hour."
Pros: "Food was good and seats were comfy :) Quick boarding and timely departures which I really like coz it got me to the destination pretty on time compared to other airlines."
Cons: "Delay from hk to osaka :( but understandable due to technical issues ans weather"
Pros: "The flight attendants were top notch and very busy and efficacious. I was impressed that they were always so helpful, courteous, and energetic even after a 12 hour flight!"
Cons: "Very uncomfortable with POOR AIRFLOW, mid way in the economy cabin, next to window (seat 44k). It was like trying to breath through a straw. I asked flight attendant if they could check the air flow, and her answer was that the temperature was 23C and everyone one else had blankets. My concern was not with temperature but FLOW. SO I went to back cabin (6 rows back) and the airflow was much much better and I could actually sleep. So bottom line there is an airflow issue mid economy cabin on the central AC jets. They should address this by putting back in air nozzles or checking actual airflow on these jets. This is very uncomfortable on long flights. Not sure I would fly this jet again for this reason."
Pros: "Staff were friendly and helpful"
Cons: "The food was atrocious and this was business class. The toilet lights were so dimmed all the time you couldn't see what was going on. Last year we flew business class Cathay pacific from Hong Kong to Melbourne and loved it. This year we decided to fly from Melbourne to Dusseldorf and then from Frankfurt to Melbourne with this airline. Won't be doing that again. Why pay business class fares to be disapointed"
Pros: "Travelling with a 1 yr old, the extra leg room and space in the bassinet seats was appreciated. Service and help from staff was outstanding. Recommend for travelling with young children. Minimises the pain!"
Cons: "We were late leaving HK but that is all. Minor in overall scheme of the journey."
Pros: "Cathay Pacific provided excellent service."
Pros: "They gave 250 ml bottle water each on breakfast and dinner I like that . The crew members were helpful and friendly"
Cons: "There was less choice of movie. It would be good if they add more Bollywood movies and movies with more than 4 rankings."
Pros: "Great crew, quick boarding"
Pros: "Quiet, warm water in bathroom sink. Movies"
Pros: "Crew were super friendly. Food was pretty good for airline food."
Cons: "Bag drop in Melbourne was poor - it took close to an hour just to drop bags. Flight was very busy. While food/drink was good, it did take quite a while to be served."
Pros: "All the air crew members were very friendly and helpful. They know how to treat kids well. My kids are vegetarians. The crew went an extra mile to find out which meal could kids eat as veg food. Well done! By making my kids journey a memorable 1, they made my journey very comfortable and memorable too."
Cons: "Ground staff at HK before leading to the counter, needs more focus in terms of understanding passenger requirements and addressing accordingly."
Pros: "I liked the fact that the plane was not delayed...pretty impressed by that because I fly a lot and some of the worst offenders in flight delays have to be ones that fly within the USA. Boarding the plane was very organized."
Cons: "Food...it could have been better....but you do get feed often."
Pros: "This is a new Airbus very similar to Boing 777. All seats in Business class are isle seats. I also needed assistance which was also excellant cutting my time in Hong Kong from 1-1/2 hour to less than 1/2 hour."
Pros: "Everything was good I didn't have any complaints about the service or flight time"
Pros: "The food and crew attentiveness were excellent. Personal entertainment system that allowed me to also easily charge my mobile phone was great."
Cons: "There was no order to the economy class boarding process. All rows all seats board at one time."
Pros: "Staff was attentive and pleasant."
Pros: "The seats are comfortable enough though they felt dated and had less space between the seats thank Air New Zealand."
Cons: "The service was quite frankly bad. We felt as if we were in a forgotten zone between two curtains sandwiched between business and economy. There was no dedicated staff for premium economy and this may have been part of the problem. There were only six passengers in Premium economy yet at meal time our choice wasn't available. We were offered meals from economy as an option. Getting any service meant having to use the call button because the staff rarely popped in to see if we needed anything. I've never used the call button so often in one flight. Friendliness came across as a forced response to our queries and at times even that wasn't masked so well. Drinks were served in plastic cups instead of real glass (like Air NZ) and filled nearly to the top...practically a tumbler of wine. Not very classy. We were forced to use the economy toilets instead of the business ones (like Air NZ). Overall we felt that Premium Economy on Cathay was economy with a wider seat with the exception that the services was worse than our economy trips with Cathay. This was a huge disappointment especially when compared with the first leg of our trip with Air NZ which was outstanding. We are not keen to fly Cathay again but unfortunately we'll have to on the way home."
Pros: "The flight was very pleasant and the crew exemplary."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by over 3 hours and I just missed check in for my connecting flight. I was not allowed to board by British Airways. Unfortunately this was a separate ticket and resulted in me having to purchase a new ticket at a very higher cost. While I accept the delay was beyond Cathay's control I would have make the check in on the connecting flight in time if they had provided assistance in transiting through the airport. Unfortunately no help was provided and after I missed the check in and spoke to the Cathay Pacific representative they only advised me I would have to find another flight."
Cons: "Flight delayed in take off twice. Then diverted via Manila. Not ideal."
Pros: "Special meal request verified and honored Power outlet hidden behind tray table Good entertainment options"
Cons: "Did not board by row or group Volume in headphones reset to high every time there was a PA announcement Dual-prong headphone jack requires adapter No USB plug without opening tray table"
Cons: "Poor reception checking in was told that I would have to sit middle seat all the way to LA. Not acceptable...my next trip to Southeast Asia I will be checking other airlines!"
