Madeleine my cabin staff member was extremely rude and less than accommodating and when I tried to broach it with the Cabin Supervisor - he asked me firstly "'have you done anything to upset her"? Terrible form Virgin Australia. A complaint has been tweeted and shared direct with VBA online.

Flight time rescheduled meaning we had very little time for connecting flight. Then they checked our luggage in (weighed 8.5kg and only 7 allowed (charged $108). The booking in of the bags meant one of our party missed connecting flight. She arrived at gate while plane was still there and Capt said he would wait but ground staff over-ruled decision. Not happy.

Free booze. That was literally the only redeeming quality of this 30+ hour trip.

I didn't like that the plane I flew on (Delta) was different than the company I booked with (Virgin Air). The 15 hour Delta flight was extremely uncomfortable with little leg room (I'm only 5' 3") and no outlets to charge devices. Additionally, my virgin air flight from Perth to Sydney that ran from 12 am to 6 am had no blankets or pillows. I was freezing cold. The stranger next to me saw me trying to wrap my jumper around my feet to keep them warm and offered me his wool jacket to stay warm. Wifi would have also been nice... no wifi.

I liked the food, and friendly staff. Pilot landed plane very well

We all had to use one run way due to heavy winds and waited on the small plane with nothing to do. I didn't bring my ipad as virgin has always had a screen even if it be 4 from the roof of the plane, there's music with a headset. This plane had nothing at all, I choose virgin for the reason you generally get a good plane. My suggestion is to sell of the bad planes like this one before you loose the customers that trust you.

The flight was fantastic boarding crew were great and the onboard crew were very nice. I enjoyed the onboard wifi and the meal.

I didn't like that my gate and terminal numbers were changed so many times. It messed up the meeting of family. Also I really hate that there is not much leg room.

No leg room (, I’m short.) Bad seat pockets, reduced knee room even further with anything in them. Armrests didn’t stay up. -the weighing of all hand luggage was over zealous, and could only be for the purpose of charging extra, if at all possible.

This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.

I paid for for “sports equipment” when I purchased my ticket, however was still made to pay an extra 275$ For my bike upon arrival at the boarding gate. Not happy. I lined up for 1hr 7 minutes before I was able to check in, ridiculous - I just got to the gate as it was boarding and I Arrived 3 hours early for my international flight.

Fast Check in & Boading using their self check in system.

There were only two toilets at the rear of the plane as the front ones were reserved for Business Class. This caused constant queues from the rear of the plane making it difficult for those leaving the toilet as they worked their way back through the queue. This made it very uncomfortable for the passengers in aisle seats at the rear as people had to invade their space to get past each other, particularly when the food and drinks trolley came through. Entertainment was available only on your own device by planes wifi system. Unfortunately you needed to download an app before flying, so was not able to try this out. Virgin should of communicated this requirement prior to the flight.

It got me to my destination on time. Web check in for this leg of my flight made things quick. Didn't have checked luggage so that was ok.

Jetstar is not a quality airline. Customer service is lacklustre. Cramped space. Plane seemed dirty and the air during takeoff and landed really smelled bad. Food and drinks way overpriced and not good.

Unknowlingly dropped teeth which went under the seat and Virgin has no means of contacting airport to put mind at rest after flight and phone contact almost impossible as staff unable or unwilling to assist. No phone number in directory, no phones at airport. and in an emergency no way of contact and no one willing to do anything to assist. Food better but still too much rice. Staff were pleasant enough

Boarded about 40 mins late (understandable but still a negative), entertainment system didn't work at all the entire flight for anyone except Business Class, and the food portion (dinner apparently) was miniscule. I was starving by the time I disembarked.

As usual, flight attendants were there when you needed them.

Chaos at the boarding gate. Business queue used by everyone. Boarding by section a joke. Everyone knows the gate staff aren't going to send them back so it's a free -for-all. Not sure about the cardboard meal box either - it's cheap and nasty. Meals were never a pleasure but now they are abominable.

Flight left and arrived on time. Qantas planes are always clean and as spacious as economy can be.

The crew ran out of hot food and the back of the plane were left with salads. Crew were oddly informal, addressing people as "mate" and "love" which I do not enjoy. The plane was not equipped with personal entertainment systems, just tv screens every few rows. When I entered the toilet, a used coffee filter was left sitting on the sink, evidently left by a crew member.

Good seats and leg room in economy. Crew and service were friendly and enjoyable.

Information from Qantas on the last minute delay to the flight and ongoing changes to the timing, was poor. We got most of our information on the delay and timing was largely from other sources.

Staff were pleasant enough

Boarded about 40 mins late (understandable but still a negative), entertainment system didn't work at all the entire flight for anyone except Business Class, and the food portion (dinner apparently) was miniscule. I was starving by the time I disembarked.

Seats were big enough and the entertainment was good

We had to wait an extra hour (after already waiting 6 hours because our original connecting flight couldn’t wait 5 minutes) because 2 people couldn’t sit in their assigned seats. They then got kicked off the plane which Is fine, but why should we have to wait while their bags are found. They broke the rules, they should have to pick their bag up when they get to Perth. Not inconvenience thousands of people!

This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.

Not much.

Boarding exceptionally slow due to intensive screening of each passengers hand luggage. Opportunististic for making an extra $36/bag if a gram over 7. Seat unable to recline. Literally not enough room for legs and needed to sit sideways and I’m not that tall!

Flight time rescheduled meaning we had very little time for connecting flight. Then they checked our luggage in (weighed 8.5kg and only 7 allowed (charged $108). The booking in of the bags meant one of our party missed connecting flight. She arrived at gate while plane was still there and Capt said he would wait but ground staff over-ruled decision. Not happy.
