Pros: "Virgin Australia’s staff is some of the most friendly and professional staff I’ve flown with. They go above and beyond to be hospitable. Also, this particular flight was an evening flight and they even had complimentary snacks- not just peanuts but actual crackers and cheese. There was a small delay in the beginning due to crew having to come from another late aircraft but they handled it very professionally and despite starting late, still got us to our destination ahead of schedule."

Matthew (at the gate) mentioned it didn't matter, because I was the one being selected, (in other words, I was the one that looked most like a tourist). I had a very light LV carry on duffle bag. People were carrying rolling luggage.... While the payment didn't bother me, what bothered me was the fact of having to put my luggage understand. Seats in plane were ridiculously uncomfortable. Unlike anything else."

Please find a way to make this right so that the conclusion of the story can be how Kayak is a good company for fixing this."

Cons: "Check-in staff at airport seemed overwhelmed, and unable to prioritize. We had to stand in multiple lines - first the kiosk line to check-in, where we got our boarding passes. BUT since we had not pre-checked luggage online, we had to stand in the VERY long regular check-in line to check-in (again) with baggage. Although I asked at the beginning if we could move ahead in line as our flight was boarding within the hour, they refused. So we got about halfway through the line before they called people on our flight to come to the front. Once we got our bags checked we had to go to the customer service line to actually pay the check-bag fee. another long line. Again I asked if we could go to the front because now our flight was boarding in 30 minutes. After initially suggesting that we would be fine, the attendant did help us get to the front of the line. But combining one line for people who have missed flights/need refunds,etc., with a line for people who just need to pay a fee and move on (so they don't also miss their flight) is just poor management. We did make our flight, and it all worked out fine, but overall really unimpressed by the experience."

The prongs from a previous flight was stuck inside the holes for the ear phones. The inflight staff offered a snack for my son up to $10 which was the equal to the amount I paid for entertainment. I had paid for everything in advance,check in baggage , seat assignments,food, comfort pack,and entertainment round trip. I wanted my boys and myself to be comfortable for the 11 hour flight. Cons: "Howzit, My experience from Melbourne to Honolulu was exhausting.I could not sleep.These are my reasons why: 1) Our flight was delayed from a 5pm to 9:55pm, then finally to a 11:55pm.departure. I had to check in after 2pm. because I had to return my rental car at 2pm. I went thru a 3rd party and I was unable to extend my rental car return to a later time. We were given refreshment vouchers at check in. 2) By the time we boarded we were extremely exhausted,thirsty,and hungry for we have been at the airport for 9 hours with only three $15 refreshment vouchers. 3) Then, after the meal service my son vomited because he said his child meal, a pasta dish, tasted bad like it was old or spoiled. He said it didn't taste fresh. The inflight staff was pleasant and helped me clean up with serviettes. Then, the inflight staff reseated the passengers in a row right in front of us to other seats ,because of the vomit odor was unpleasant, and so my son can lay down to sleep,because he was feeling very ill from the food. My overall experience from Melbourne to Honolulu was exhausting because I could not sleep. My son was ill most of the flight from food poisoning from spoiled food he had eaten. Aloha, Irene"
