Pros: Clean and got us there pretty fast.

Cons: The crew had to move people to the back of the plane to "balance the weight". Never heard of that before. So we sat for 30 minutes while they rearranged the passengers. The flight attendant seemed almost drunk. He kept rambling on the intercom and slurring his words. Very unprofessional.

Cons: This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.

Cons: We did not get on the flight, there was no staff available to check in our bags. Everyone we spoke to was rude and abnoxious at Brisbane airport. The only people were lovely and helpful were the volunteers in the blue shirts who tried to direct us in the right direction. We finally got on a flight and still had to pay for it.

Cons: Our flight was delayed because of poor rostering due to one of the crew being out of hours and another crew member had to be brought from Brisbane to Sydney to join the flight. Not very professional in my eyes.

Cons: On time, attitude of Virgin ground crew in Sydney (only one) seat were tiny and uncomfortable.

Pros: Easy check in on line and at baggage check in at Nadi, landing was good, the fact that we made it safely was also good, great crew - I felt sorry for them too!

Cons: Screaming kids, I had one kicking the back of my seat pretty much the whole trip, as well as throwing tantrums (I know this isn't the fault of the airline but the crew could've helped a tad more - can't blame them for not wanting to go near them though I didn't want to be seated in front oft them either!!!) No tv for inflight entertainment, meal very average, they ran out of one of the choices early on (probably the only good choice!), landing was good…very relieved to arrive!

Cons: Extremely terrible customer service with boarding. Our combined carry-on weight exceeded the 7kg. Fair enough, we paid $60 for check-in. However, the customer service rep was awful towards us and then informed us that they would not be able to put our bag on our flight as we would cause a delay. I have a feeling this was just a decision she made to spite us as there were still ~20 minutes until departure. Well, guess what... our flight was about 15 minutes delayed. I don’t work in the aviation industry, but I assume it wouldn’t have taken 35 minutes to load. Her attitude was awful and she provided zero help when asked how when our luggage would arrive and what the process to claim it is. She simply said “I don’t know, enjoy the flight” with a smug look on her face. Never flying this airline again. Thanks to Jetstar for causing an inconvenience on our honeymoon.

Pros: My seat was not kicked. No crying babies. (Neither was due to the airline).

Cons: Queue Jump was initially ignored, at gate. Flight attendant made sarcastic comments. No food to purchase, not even tea/coffee.

Cons: Boarding exceptionally slow due to intensive screening of each passengers hand luggage. Opportunististic for making an extra $36/bag if a gram over 7. Seat unable to recline. Literally not enough room for legs and needed to sit sideways and I’m not that tall!

Cons: Initial flight to sydney cancelled Lost seats I paid for (chosen seat location) Return flight, adamantly won't let us check on the same bag we took initially, same weight No one willing to compromise considering my initial lost seats

Cons: I didn't like that when I submitted my request to fly from Melbourne that Jetstar flew from 2 airports. I found this confusing and caused a problem since I'm unfamiliar with the area.

Cons: Horribly expensive bag check in if your bag is over the weight limit. It's $26 online at time of booking, but we found that our carry ons were barely over the size limit, in weight, and we were charged $60 PER BAG at the check in.

Cons: The flight announcements were loud and abrasive which woke everyone sleeping on the early morning flight. No doubt is was that particular cabin manager and not the norm.

Cons: Check-in procedures and mandatory "wait outside of security until Jetstar customer service gets to their post in Sydney". The insanely uncomfortable seats with paper thin backs allowing for passengers behind to knee you in the kidney while trying to get comfortable themselves. I could go on for hours.

Cons: My husband had a heart attack (two weeks before the flight) and was not allowed to fly until he was cleared by his cardiologist. We had to cancel our planned trip. I was hoping to get some money refunded from this ticket for compassionate reasons. Unlike some other airlines, this did not happen.
