This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.

The different sites employees don't seem to communicate. They left us completely stressed about having the seats with extra leg room, with employees all saying the next city's ticketing agents will take care of changing the seating. Since we had prepaid for these seats, I didn't feel like confirming we had them should have caused such problems.

My husband had a heart attack (two weeks before the flight) and was not allowed to fly until he was cleared by his cardiologist. We had to cancel our planned trip. I was hoping to get some money refunded from this ticket for compassionate reasons. Unlike some other airlines, this did not happen.

The web page is misleading When I tried to pay online the check in baggage fee, there is no way to do it, only by paying at the checking counter, and the price is the double, it is an abuse , that the company claim it can be done bny webpage but it cant be done.

flight was delayed which appears the norm with Jetstar.!!! Ridiculous walking distance to get to and from at Melbourne end!!!! Pity the elderly and infirm!!! You get nothing for your money EVERYTHING is EXTRA cost and expensive. From baggage to basic snacks, if you are silly enough to buy. Not even a radio outlet. Seats are hard and uncomfortable, but the "icing on the cake", is the removal of the pockets behind the seats to make the leg room look more, so you now have nowhere to put a water bottle or a drink down. JETSTAR/QANTAS should be very (proud) ashamed of themselves. By the way has anyone noticed the prospective destruction of the iconic Kangaroo symbol on QANTAS planes known all over the world as AUSTRALIAN, that the Irish CEO of Qantas is happily removing at enormous cost, over the next months to be replaced by an indescribable symbol, that is so similar to CHINA AIRLINES, it is not funny. Takeover in the wind?No wonder QANTAS is so expensive and its cheaper arm JETSTAR are cut to the bone. Staff can only do so much.

We were unable to book our luggage on your website. When we got to Launceston, they not only charged us $100 but told us the limit was 15 kg each because it was the same day. We had tried to book our luggage when we bought the tickets, but were unable to. Then we had to buy a bag to carry the baggage we had to remove from our luggage.

Flight time rescheduled meaning we had very little time for connecting flight. Then they checked our luggage in (weighed 8.5kg and only 7 allowed (charged $108). The booking in of the bags meant one of our party missed connecting flight. She arrived at gate while plane was still there and Capt said he would wait but ground staff over-ruled decision. Not happy.

Boarding exceptionally slow due to intensive screening of each passengers hand luggage. Opportunististic for making an extra $36/bag if a gram over 7. Seat unable to recline. Literally not enough room for legs and needed to sit sideways and I’m not that tall!

When finally touching down in Auckland getting off the plane.

Check-in procedures and mandatory "wait outside of security until Jetstar customer service gets to their post in Sydney". The insanely uncomfortable seats with paper thin backs allowing for passengers behind to knee you in the kidney while trying to get comfortable themselves. I could go on for hours.

The flight was 4 hours delayed. The seat was small and I am 5. Ft 2 inches (about 103 pounds.) Not sure how anyone can fit into the seat. There was no leg room for me. First and last timeflying with jet star.

Our flight was delayed as we were all standing in line for a bit. They finally gave us word that there was something wrong with the plane. I will give them Kudos however for finding us another plane and we finally made it 2 hours later..
