Excellent 8.8
Really lovely hotel , friendly staff and great location. Driving to the hotel was a bit of an ordeal navigating cork city but worth it.
Good 7.6
Have stayed here for years and always had a great time even last year during Covid. This time plans were disrupted by a bereavement. Travelled 5 hours with young son to get to hotel and was tired and hungry. Rang ahead to make dinner reservation but told they had no availability. Explained my situation again at check-in but told no availability. Got to my room to find it was not what I booked. Back to reception to be told I was not guaranteed a twin room. When I showed my reservation I was told I could wait in reception until they found something suitable. Only when I threatened to leave was I given a table to eat some food. This receptionist showed me no compassion or understanding and clearly has a lot to learn about customer service.

Pros: Loved the location and view. I enjoyed the seating on each floor. Gave us a chance to sit and visit while enjoying the gorgeous view of the river.
Cons: Would love a quick cafe for coffee in the morning when we didn't want a full breakfast.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quaint little guest house, homely and friendly service, Danny was the best host one good ask for, very attentive to our needs. Excellent location just a 10 minute walk into the city. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was amazing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is great, just 10 min walk from the city. We felt super welcomed by the staff who had prepared everything for us as well as taken all COVID measures required. Rooms were super clean, very quiet at night. The breakfast was delicious and made fresh per order. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Cork!
Cons: I’d like softer pillows, but that’s a personal taste.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was fabulous and exceptionally clean. The location was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful with a large selection to choose from. We really had a great holiday in Cork and the Blarney Stone Guesthouse and it’s owners made it even better.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Blarney Stone Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay. We were greeted by by the two friendly owners on arrival who were very welcoming. The Guesthouse is beautifully decorated and mega-clean. The room and bathroom were very cosy and the beds super comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is cooked to order with a wide selection. I highly recommend staying here if you're stopping off in Cork.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts were the most helpful, caring and pleasant people we met while travelling. They went out of their way to make our stay blissful. The breakfast was Michelin Star quality.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Having arrived during the Covid-19 shutdown, the owners could not have been more accommodating. They adjusted their processes to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and safe whilst remaining as attentive as possible. I really cannot thank them enough for their efforts. Thank you for staying open just for us!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful place, great breakfast, ideal location. The owners were lovely and accommodating nothing was to much trouble.
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Customer service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and. attentive …full marks for that !!…the hotel was very comfortable and with a homely athmosphere…
Cons: I just felt that prices for drinks or some foods were exorbitant ,
Good 7.0
Pros: Good atmosphere, great location, staff were helpful (eg early check-in), lovely grounds - many things that make it feel a special place.
Cons: Little things/details that on their own are not much but given price, one would expect greater care eg hair dryer didn't work properly, ironing board was a bit wobbly, smudges on wall, soap holder in shower was a bit worn, I'm not sure Covid certs were being checked properly/consistently etc.

Cons: nothing g
Excellent 10.0
Pros: relaxing and comfortable
Cons: all good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive and service was excellent. A beautiful hotel with great history and character.
Good 6.0
Pros: I was very disappointed with the room … everything else was fine but the room was the same I stayed in the last night and felt it was not 5 star standard and could do with being redecorated . I never complain but was disappointed as it was my friend and I 50th birthdays and we were celebrating this post lockdown . Food was good
Cons: The room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: All good
Cons: Availability on spa
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful small hotel. Staff were accommodating.
Cons: Very poor WiFi connections - although they provided a meeting room fir a day where that was critical for me.
Excellent 10.0
The Hayfield Manor is among the finest of hotels. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Everyone from the doormen to the restaurant staff, concierge, and chamber maids are exceptional. It felt like returning home after a day of touring or just wandering around Cork. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Upon our arrival Deirdre (hope I spelled it correctly) checked us in and was very helpful and informative. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Both the restaurant and bar were top notch and the food was excellent. The breakfast area had a great selection and again the food was excellent. Will definitely visit this hotel on a future trip to this beautiful part of the world. Nothing more I could ask for, just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
We started with a wonderful afternoon tea in Orchids restaurant, wonderful surroundings and delicious food, both savory and sweet, plenty of choice. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. The highlight of our afternoon tea most definitely has to be the vegan afternoon tea for one member of our party, savory is easy but the sweets are usually just fruit and sorbet from past experiences, not at Hayfield Manor, there were scones, brownie, chocolate mousse, jellies and a wonderful honeycomb type confection but not honey. All staff during our stay were extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner in Perrots which we all enjoyed and again good vegan options. One quibble we had was our visit to the bar, service was incredibly slow and very hard to get anyone's attention. Our rooms were lovely, very well appointed, beds were comfortable, pillows not to my liking. Our only problem here was the sound of water pumps all night. On subsequent visit requested a room on second floor but this room was beside elevator so again noisy. Staying again soon and have requested room away from elevator so hopefully third time lucky. All in all though very happy with our stays at Hayfield Manor and will definitely return.
Good 6.0
Pros: Facilities
Cons: The hotel is hard to find. Even the GPS struggled to get us there. Old world atmosphere, with some unusual and welcome additions; a bottle of whisky at the reception desk to parch the thirst and ease the frustration of locating the place. Another fun touch, a putter and play practice green in the room. It is a nice place but would I stay there again? probably not. It's the little things that matter in a hotel and the dinning reception left us cold. We made dinner reservations and showed up on time, appropriately dressed, only to be kept waiting while others streamed by, were welcomed, and seated. Eventually,We were placed in a back room at what must have been the worst table in the place, center stage, traffic area in a room surrounded by cozy booths. The Food and service excellent, but the second rate treatment left a bad taste. So we move on, to a better experience somewhere else.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious. We arrived early, got a room quickly, and even were upgraded to a suite just like that. The staff treated us like queens and kings, making us feel like part of their family. Everyone was cheerful and helpful during our stay, and the bartenders were eager to talk about local places to see and shop at. A highlight indeed for our Ireland trip.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Old world charm and very polite staff

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Large comfortable bed, large bath, excellent health suite
Cons: Nothing to report
Excellent 8.0
Pros: A casual area for coffee would have been good. An area for kids activities maybe More interconnecting rooms to cater for families
Cons: No casual coffee space. Bar closed during day
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Lunch
Excellent 8.0
Pros: beautiful hotel, had a lovely room , very clean and comfortable
Cons: my room service took over 2hrs to arrive so I missed out on my slot for pool and hot tub with was the main reason I picked the hotel in the first place. after waiting over an hr it took 5 phone calls to get the food to the room in that time as it seemed no one knew what was going on or seemed to care to remedy it. however they didn’t charge for the food in the end but I would have preferred pay or at least be told on call number 1 it would be over another hr
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room was lovely and spa fantastic. Had one issue and its was addressed fantastically by Nikita, whom is a wonderful representative for the hotel and a credit to the Fota Collection. If you are looking to treat yourself with a stay in Cork, the Kingsley is a great choice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel service was at a high level. All request was promptly and positively considered. My time in Kingsley Hotel I will remember with smile on my face. Definitely recommend staying in this Hotel and I'm looking forward to visit this Hotel again. The hotel's staff went to great lengths to make our stay pleasant. Thank you very much to make my Birthday special.
Cons: I couldn't say anything negative about staying in this Hotel.
Excellent 9.6

Excellent 10.0
Great hotel friendly staff and good breakfast easy car parking would definitely use it again next in cork
Excellent 9.2
For our stay The Kingsley was perfect. Close enough to the city to either get a taxi/bus or drive in (with free parking). Long walk and beautiful view along the river Lee for morning and evening walks. Staff really helpful and friendly. Facilities in room as needed. Lovely breakfast and interesting dinner menu. Nice pool with views over the river. Travelling with toddler who was well looked after as well.
Excellent 10.0
Great food great staff fantastic lesiure facilities.Spacious rooms and a great night's sleep
Good 7.8
Staff excellent food poor
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice, relaxed ambience of the hotel. Great staff and food
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.4
Pros: While the wait staff (excluding the bar staff) were rather helpful, the one working elevator was slow, the spa did not have any openings, and we received a 3am wake up call that we did not authorize. For a luxury hotel, they have some work to do.
Excellent 8.3
Great rooms and friendly staff, breakfast buffet also good - vrey poor experience eating in The Springboard restaurant, hopefully it was just an off nigfht
Excellent 10.0
Fantastic Hotel and Bar staff . Especially Christine on reception and Sean & Brian in the Bar/Restaurant would highly recommend this Hotel .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Kingsley was a great place to settle down In Cork. The staff were professional and took pride in their work. The rooms were nice and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I didn't mind this actually but the Kingsley is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. You could take a cab or walk it. The reason i didn't mind was because it was far enough away that you weren't surrounded by the noise.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Friendly staff amd comfortable room. Price was reasonable. 15 minite drive from cork city centre. Would recommend.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We didn't have breakfast. The room was lovely and so were the staff.
Cons: The hotel is large and could do with a spa! Swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice vibe especially with the Christmas lights.Staff very helpful and friendly. Was there for a quick stopover but would like to visit again in the future
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food was great, very spacious rooms, very nice hotel. Would definitely recommend. Only 10 min taxi drive to city centre. very good location. very helpful staff.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: beautiful hotel and friendly staff room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. a nice little gesture in room to mark a birthday celebration which was appreciated
Excellent 8.5
The staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. The food was good and the service was excellent. We were served by a friendly and helpful staff. The proximity to airport was very handy for travelling. The parking was free and the room and bathroom were very clean and pleasant. The hotel was within walking distance to the airport terminal but they also run a shuttle for people who have to leave very early in the morning. We also loved the breakfast buffet. It was a relaxing stay.
Excellent 9.3
Everything was satisfactory
Excellent 9.7
Cons: Great overall. Slow service in lobby area for the lobby menu was only complaint.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Location and cleanliness, except for being a smoking room, of the hotel are very good.
Cons: We had to book online at the last minute. Booked 3 rooms for 3 adult family couples. When we got there we realized with the rooms given, no way to tell online, we could get away with 2 rooms as they were big rooms. We asked to change and weren't allowed because of the online booking. Also one day of the rooms assigned was a smoking room that smelled very strongly of cigarettes, again asked to change and weren't allowed to. Rooms were quite pricey as well, the most expensive night on our 2 week vacation was at this hotel. Had breakfast the next morning and one room came with breakfast, no idea why?
Excellent 9.1
Pros: The hotel and rooms were very attractive and clean. The restaurant was fine.
Cons: The room was on the warm side and the only bedding was a duvet. We prefer a sheet with a blanket.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Everything! I wonder why it's just 4 star? Clearly 5 star service.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Comfy and well priced
Cons: Massage chairs in cinema not working Food in restaurant not too great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great large room with all facilities incl wifi. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Great evening meal in restaurant. We are world travelers staying in 3-4 star chain hotels, we wish every hotel was this good! We never heard one plane take off! Stay here. We cancelled a city centre hotel in Cork on arrival because of traffic and limited parking. i.e. No parking! Stay at this hotel ! You will be pleased. Staff are very helpful too!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic. Stayed 7 nights, would go back to Ireland just to stay at this hotel. Rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. Staff was wonderful, especially Manny at the front desk. Went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Restaurants were good, location was central to everything. Highly recommend !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent, clean hotel with an extremely convenient location. It was a wonderful value for the price.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Next to airport. Nice, clean room. Helpful staff.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The place was lovely and in a great location. The room was tidy and cozy. The staff were all very kind.
Cons: They don't have a very spacious parking space.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff were fantastic, all very friendly and helpful.
Cons: no breakfast available, except for continental. it would have been lovely to have a proper breakfast. the room we stayed in had a bay window on the 3rd floor i think - a street light outside was shining in all night and i think black out blinds would go a long way here
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely art downstairs in sitting rooms beds very comfortable, iron, hairdryer, tv and kettle in room. Two minute walk to UCC.
Cons: Room was at top of the house if you don't like stairs ask for lower room. The owner gave us a lovely continental breakfast in our bedroom due to covid hopefully on next visit the sit down breakfast will be safely back again.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The decor on ground floor and in room was very good - old style charm. The staff were helpful and friendly. Check in was earlier than alot places I have stayed which made you feel not rushed. Prime location for walking into city and located across from parks.
Cons: Bathroom could be slightly bigger. Exterior paint.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: - residential area so pretty quiet area (about 15 mins walk to city center) - decorated with loads of art and halloween stuff - extremely friendly staff - clean, but rather small room - I arrived a little before check in time so I was offered complimentary tea - continental breakfast was for free (due to covid, but served in room) and it was prepared a little earlier as usual as I had to leave early
Cons: - bathroom was tiny - shower could do with more water pressure
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The guest house is pretty cool with a peculiar style. The room was comfortable, with relatively spacious and modern en suite bathroom. Staff was really kind and hospitable.
Cons: View from the windows (on the back), sometime unstable wifi connection.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very fashionably decorated room. Staff was very friendly and charming.
Cons: Nothing. Location is about 10 minutes walk but on nice area.

Pros: Nice staff and comfortable room
Cons: Think for the price we paid breakfast could be included
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location Suite was good value
Okay 4.0
Pros: It was a nice room with a comfortable bed.
Cons: I could hear a TV from a neighbouring room, staff also spoke outside my bedroom door very loudly at an early time in the morning.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location and breakfast good. Clean . For the most part staff are friendly. Decor is generally well maintained.
Cons: Building site next door very difficult to deal with noise wise. Two different staff members on reception both wearing visors instead of masks. At this stage of pandemic it made me uncomfortable. On their own they are actually a risk in spreading infection . Apparent lack of awareness around this made me wonder. Still inadequate nonslip provision for shower/ bath despite past feedback .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, cleanliness and lovely breakfast
Cons: No bar
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable with plenty of suggestions for places to eat and things to see and do.
Cons: Food options on-site would have been welcome.
Good 6.8
The hotel ignored my request to put my company name on the receipt. Before checking in, I had send the request and the hotel people said they they could only manage it on departure. They issued an invoice with wrong content and amount and ignore my follow up email. The only reason I requested to put certain information was because we need to claim for business trip as the company request. If we were not on business trip, we wouldn’t care about the receipt.
Excellent 8.8
There is large car park in the hotel. The room is large and clean. The hotel is very close to Cork city centre.
Good 7.7
location is excellent but expected more for a four star hotel

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room, breakfast even though a very difficult time during Coronavirus. Location to cork. Easy drive, or use park and ride. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was very poor. Waited for cooked b/f. Only one person serving who seemed to multitask with orders/settle accounts/serving etc
Good 7.0
Pros: Staffvery helpful.Great service at breakfast and in reataurant.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Jon quigley and Debbie buttimer are an absolute credit to the establishment..stayed here the night before we flew out on our honeymoon and the attention and lovely gift were just a gorgeous touch
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
The room itself had a huge twofold bed with a great sleeping cushion and great quality bedding. There was a really valuable work area with work area chair and driven perusing /work light, and a little seating range with a circular table and two tub-style rockers. The flat-screen television advertised an incredible number of channels and, having regularly been contrarily shocked at other Irish inns, all Irish TV channels. This hotel itself is worth specifying as I like my RTE News Presently and my TG4. My room overlooked the front of the hotel with its car stop, the airport's get to street and portion of the airplane terminal building and its runway itself. Given that, I must tell you that I had a refreshingly and surprisingly calm night. The extraordinary quality power outage shades did their work marvelously.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: it was an excellent hotel really enjoyed my stay there only wish it was a day longer but maybe next time!! I had a really lovely room much to my surprise!!! Well worth it if you are staying in or around the airport!!
Cons: I have nothing bad to report here!
Excellent 8.1
Have stayed here several times ,think standard have dropped, Tiles in shower had black mildew, bleach & a good scrub would get rid of it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was a five minute walk from both rental car drop-off and airport departure check-in. Hotel restaurant provided a pleasant meal in a casual setting. Service and food were excellent.

Cons: The rooms need fans or something .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very close to the airport - you can walk in fact across the road to reach it; breakfast was great and with a variety to choose from. Our room was spacious and clean. It was perfect for a short one night stay.
Good 7.6
Pros: Good basic 4 star hotel
Cons: The breakfeast staff (one male in particular) could do with training on who to talk to and deal with guests.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is an excellent B & B a lovely room with very comfortable beds and the breakfast was very good. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Cons: nothing
Okay 5.8
Pros: Warm room, friendly staff
Cons: Old building with creaky floor, although that goes for 90% of the structures in Ireland. The room was right at the entrance, very exposed to any kind of noise and light (unnecessarily) left on during the night in the hallway. The TV is decades old and didn't function properly, with horrible channel reception. Way too overpriced considering it was in November.
Good 7.0
Pros: modern bathroom and great location. very friendly staff and offered free parking even if you couldn’t park on site.
Cons: noisy and could hear the students out on the street. the room smelt of cigarettes and the bed was uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very clean property, very comfortable and perfectly located for the purpose of our trip
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was excellent for visiting UCC and it was only a short walk into the city centre
Cons: Nothing, room was small, but that was mentioned in the information and reflected in the price so I have no issue with that.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location , Breakfast
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I arrived very early but was able to check in immediately which was v handy. Room actually had a double and a single bed, bed was very comfortable.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff was amazing for make you're comfortable, give to you attention and provide all the information you needed.
Cons: Isn't exactly close to walking distance to the city centre, and the stairs. Many stairs.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I have stayed at Redclyffe a number of times over recent years. This time I was attending medical consultations/surgery in Cork. Mick, his family and every staff member I interacted with were incredibly helpful in providing me with every comfort and care. The rooms may be a bit dated, but they are impeccably clean and provide all that any guest needs for comfortable overnight accommodation and a generous breakfast. I was using public transport from right outside the property to access various health care locations, all without any problem. My stay had to be extended an extra night at the last minute and that was done without any difficulty or frustration. Redclyffe may only be rated 3 Star, but be assured the care and attention is definitely 5 Star. Having stayed in grand locations all around the world during my professional career I can say without hesitation that Redclyffe is extraordinary good value for the price.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. City centre just minutes away.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The rooms were very modern, comfortable and spacious. The host was lovely and greated us kindly even though we came at a late hour. I liked the way we were given bread in the morning for breakfast as we had a small kitchen that everyone could use with kettle etc. Our big group the second day was placed in the rooms in the back house, this was great as we were worried about our noise levels but the host reassured us. Overall it's a well run B&B and I would love to book again for groups or a getaway with a friend or two.
Cons: The pictures and website don't really do it justice, as it was over our expectations.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenient to Cork University Hospital.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable bed, location and host could not do enough for guests
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect
Good 7.0
Pros: It was good overall, nice and cosy
Cons: Outrageous price for a single night in what i would describe a double bedroom in a house. Greedy landlords in Ireland have pushed the housing crisis to the point where one night in cork costs as much as 3 days in the canary islands.

Good 7.0
Pros: Bed was very comfy
Good 7.0
Pros: Fast check in. Comfortable, basic room. Easy access to City Centre and motorways for onward journey. Friendly reception staff, who offered to arrange taxi transportation for us if going into city.
Cons: The adjoining restaurant - Rockin' Joes wasn't particularly inviting - greasy, unpleasant smells greeted us from the car park. The price for a one-night stay was high, considering it was a budget hotel, but this may have been as we were staying on a Saturday night.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location for Cork and plenty of parking. Adjacent Diner served good food and allowed pets so this was a bonus for us.
Cons: Additional charge for the dog was not clear when booking.
