Only problem was the hotel didn’t accept the reservation from Kayak. Went to check in and although I had a confirmation number and a confirmed date I was denied due to their policy of not accepting 3rd party reservations. Pros (+) We found this hotel on the IHG site since they had recently merged. Close to beach. Easy access to Pacific Highway. Staff at the hotel were friendly and genuinely happy with easygoing attitudes. It helped us relax and it made a difference. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and if we travel back to Huntington Beach this is where we will stay!
Cons (-) Not consistent with the way the room was cleaned. However, a quick phone call remedied our towel situation. Fridge was fully stocked. Wish there would have been less items in the fridge so we could put our own drinks in. No biggie.

Cons (-) Was given a room on main floor almost directly off common area, but I suppose someone has to get that one... no ice machine on our floor. Balcony separated from neighbors' by a couple of floor planters--not very secure.
