Conrad Manila - Pasay - Building
1
9.1 Excellent (7,821 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The remarkable Manila Bay greets you as you step in front the large windows of your room or suite at the Conrad Manilla. Embedded within the S Maison retail complex, the hotel accesses recreational venues, boutiques and attractions, but the on-site facilities are certainly worth all your time as well. Taste the subtle flavours of innovative Asian dishes at the two in-house restaurants and find your recipe for relaxation within the Health Spa, where you have an abundance of body treatments, healing procedures and couple treatments. Afterwards, experience what it’s like to swim in a reef at the infinite pool designed to mimic corals. Improve your fitness with a personal trainer to guide you through the high-end equipment in the gym. Once the long day of excitement and pleasure ends, you rest in a palatial room with Bluetooth-enabled entertainment technology. Weddings are always prominent on the social calendar as the Grand Ballroom attracts couples from all over the world.
6.2 Good
Pros: Pool area and the one staff member there was nice. Oh, and the food was top notch. Aside from that, and the facility, I was not impressed. Mostly just frustrating.
Cons: They told us "no" way too many times for any place in the hospitality industry. To be fair, we're not that needy. They're just a bit too strict for their own good. For one, they refused to give us free wifi access until we had reluctantly signed up to be part of the Hilton rewards club. Also, if you like to enjoy the occasional smoke, this place is similar to a hospital in that you will be told to move elsewhere if you're not in the one place they allow smoking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is perfectly located and super neat
Cons: Beeping sounds coming out of the aircon vents at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed hotel on Manila Bay. Depending on the room not always the best view but the rooms are comfortable and the staff are great.
Cons: Everything is an additional cost. Even printing out a few sheets of paper.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing. I could live there..

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing everything is worse from check in to check out. First, my reservation didn't honor the free breakfast. This is the second times I bought from your website that the breakfast is included but when we checkin not invluded.
Cons: The smell of the Carpet and when you're in the swimming pools the smell of the ocean iis horrible. The aircon in the lobby is horrible too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you for the birthday surprise!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First Rate Hotel very profesdiinall from room to staff ... grounds are amazing
Cons: Yes Hotel pool water is coldest thing I have ever experienced ! Haha
7.9 Good
Pros: Very familiar but a little out dated in the rooms. Can tell it’s seen it’s time. But totally worth the money you pay. Pool are looked amazing but didn’t have the chance to swing because of the poor weather.
Cons: Everything was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spiral buffet is incredible, staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy and the view over the pool and the bay from our room on the 11th floor was amazing
Cons: My only fault was the shower, only the hand held wand worked, not the rain head suspended in the shower. It wasn't a big deal though.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view was great.
Cons: The rooms are old.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are wonderful. We have a server and he was wonderful, he went out of his way to make our stay special.
Cons: Our room 1123 was deteriorated. The blinds in the bathroom is all bent and the rain shower was not working good, no water pressure at all. I am a bit disappointed cause I have stayed in many Sofitel before in different countries and I was always pleased
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property with luxurious touches. Loved the pillows, towels and Lanvin products
Cons: Thought that cost of breakfast was a little excessive

Cons: Serve wine on 10th floor with lunch
7.0 Good

Cons: Bait and switch. A lot of extras that wound up costing more than the room itself, it was a huge rip-off. Breakfast, evening perks, etc.
The Henry Hotel Manila - Pasay - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: You drive into this beautiful property surrounded by the caos of Manila. The buildings are beautiful and the gardens as well. The place has a swimming pool and a great restaurant. We also bought cool souvenirs at their honest shop.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean
Cons: No bathroom door. It’s difficult when you have toddlers who are very active
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, nostalgic and secured. Food was great at the restaurant.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you enter, you are transported to another time. There's an unhurried air around the place. Lovely garden, historic home as the centerpiece. Staff is exceptionally well trained and will do their absolute best to accommodate your request. Popcorn at 9pm to munch while watching a movie? You bet. If you want to get out for shows, shopping or sight seeing, you are very near Mall of Asia and Intramuros. Highly recommended.
Cons: The website is very clear on the square footage of each class of room and because it is a historic home that has been converted, I expected the room to be on the small side. However, when I stay again, I'll ask to have a look at the available rooms before I take my key. My room was quite small and that was fine since I was alone. If I had been with a companion, it would have been too small.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room size, location.
Cons: In room dining (found a plastic piece in my pasta), steep price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet location close to the airport. A good fallback from the noise and chaos of the city. Good restaurant on site, albeit a little bit pricey. Staff is attentive, helpful and friendly.
Cons: we were urged to be at the airport 3 hours before our early morning flight. this was completely unnecessary and we spent more than 90 minutes (+ a subsequent delay) waiting at the gate when we could have been sleeping in our beds :(
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient for airport and Mall of Asia. We booked a pick up from the airport which cost 1200 pesos one way. However a grab taxi back cost 180pesos. When arriving at the airport suggest you use a prepaid taxi which costs 440 pesos
Cons: Food is restaurant was good but limited to western style - more variety and local cuisine would have been welcome. Limited number of sunbeds around the pool - 6 in total
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel! Located in a compound so you feel very safe and you don't hear the traffic from the street. Nicely renovated with a modern look. Apparently, this was owned by a wealthy chinese family back in the day and they renovated for hotel use. Very nice architecture. Also very close to Mall of Asia and surrounding casinos and restaurants in the Pasay neighborhood.
Cons: Only one entrance to all the rooms from the main area. 4 houses situated in tandem and our room was located in the 3rd house. Since there was only one entrance, the walk to the main gate of the compound made it twice as far. I only stayed a night, so it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but if I was staying a few days or weeks, it would probably get old quick.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming property, beautifully done. Staff is helpful. Comfortable.
Cons: The pool could be cleaner. The location is interesting. Must get a taxi to get anywhere.

Hotel Jen Manila - Pasay - Building
8
8.4 Excellent (8,398 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Pasay (Brgy. 719), Hotel Jen Manila by Shangri-La is a 4-minute walk from Cultural Center of the Philippines and 6 minutes by foot from Manila Yacht Club. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious and quiet
Cons: The photos really flatter a tired hotel, with many stains on the carpets, and the pool rather run down and with a dirty old net over the top. And it is the only hotel I have ever booked that kept prodding me awake while I sat on the sofa waiting for my room to become available after a long night flight. They apparently "don't allow sleeping in the reception area"!!! My one room service meal was a huge disappointment, and made more frustrating when I was told I had to pay cash as no-one had taken my credit card advance on check-in! As I did not have the cash, a tedious wait ensued while the staff member tried to get authority for me to put the simple sandwich on my bill. And it was the coldest tuna melt without any melting cheese I have ever eaten. The location is witness to some of the poverty of Manila, with many street families living on the road outside and all the way to the nearest restaurants. I cancelled my second booking at this hotel and enjoyed a much better stay in Makati.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast buffet is great!
Cons: they should have put more breakfast selection on the 19th floor and some kind of entertainment, like live acoustic jam at night.
7.0 Good

5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok but the dessert options were very little. Good coffee though! I like the Sushi restaurant and the staff were very friendly. The airport transfer back to the airport wasn't so good, we have to carry our own suitcases.
Cons: A lot! Our bathroom didn't have a hair dryer. The sink were clogged. The bed is not really that comfy, specially the pillows. They claim to be 4 Star and also by Shangrila. Our expectation were high!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room size excellent
Cons: The carpet was dirty maybe old..the shower with one door and towels were too limited its seems to be for 1 person instead of for two

8.0 Excellent
Pros: We return to this hotel every year and everything still good as always. Great room with great bed. Plenty options available when going for breakfast. Room was cleaned every day and soap was always replaced.
Cons: One evening I have ordered a whisky with dinner and I feel the price was way too high. P370 for a single shot of a common whisky! The price for one liter of this particular whisky at the grocery store is less than P1,500, so this hotel wants to get their money back (after buying one liter) by selling 4 shots... This is just daylight robbery!
1.0 Poor
Pros: The hotel Staffs were excellent. I paid in full and non refundable room, otherwise, we would have check out the next day.
Cons: The hotel has sewer smell, particularly the room and hallway. Hallway carpet is so dirty. Requested for a room change due to smell. Towels didn’t appear to gray and not clean. Breakfast was not worth the money. This hotel should have a one star ra

6.0 Good
Pros: The kindness of the staff.
Cons: I stayed for one night, just to travel the next day to another island. If you want to stay just in time to catch anothee flight the next day, then this is a good place but the area surrounding is poor. Too much poor and weird. Is a old hotel and the noise is too much..

Pros: Location - very close to the airport and Mall of Asia. Good value for money, large rooms and caters for large families comfortably. Airconditioned rooms and hot water available.
Cons: The hotel itself requires updating in terms of look. The cafe by the pool area could use a refurbish as well. Unfortunately you have to pay for wifi in the rooms only. Pros: I like the rooftop pool and deck, as well as the courteous, professional staff. We like the maserap almusal as well.
Cons: The only minor thing was running out of coffee before the end of the almusal. We went to the breakfast room earlier on our second day, and no problem.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room size and design
Cons: Unpleasing buffet breakfast.(It was better before).Kettle and flat iron should be provided for OFW.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really cheap but a lot of amenities are available like the pool and the bar. They even offered movie night. It’s more than what you paid for. Our first room was kinda dull because it was all grey but on our second stay the room was so pretty and quiet to think that their place was just near edza. You can really have a goodnight sleep.
Cons: The light in the room. I wish they can add more lights. It’s kinda dark.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location when traveling to the airport was fine...
Cons: There was no other restaurant in the hotel then rooftop restobar, that is smelly Swimming pool was dirty and smelly Air con in the room was really loud

6.2 Good
Pros: Pool area and the one staff member there was nice.
