10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean, Kellie was very friendly and helpful
Cons: The sensor lights in the bathroom didn’t stay on very long, if I’m to be picky!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location located near the bus stop, staff were super friendly and helpful, room was warm, dry and clean. Thanks for turning on the heating before we arrived! Breakfast was simple but good, as expected.
Cons: Unfortunately our bed was incredibly uncomfortable! Both left with sore backs and barely slept, pillows could also do with an upgrade as they were really flat (Bedroom located up the second set of stairs and to the right)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts. Very welcoming and helpful. Thanks again for the shoe glue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and Friendly staff. Very helpful and close to all amenity we needed. Had never been to Mt Buller before in Winter let alone in summer . It was quite warm.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent with our room overlooking the Bourke Street run. There was an onsite shop where we could hire ski equipment and the staff there were very helpful. The hotel pool was heated and there was a sauna as well which was very welcome at the end of the day. The drying cupboard in the room was a bonus.
Cons: Unfortunately, as it was nearly the end of the season, the main restaurant was closed. The only place to eat in the hotel was the Birdcage cafe which had a limited selection. This was more difficult for me as I am coeliac and there were very few gluten free options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Access, convenience & staff
Cons: view from ground floor was into popo kitchen stair so the room was a bit dark as we had to keep the blinds closed.
7.9 Good
Pros: Large comfy bed. Good storage space. Good facilities, friendly staff.
Cons: Cupboards and room could do with an update. Bathroom tiles were cracked and mildew in corners. Blood on the bathroom door frame and switch. Not much choice in restaurant and coffee was like warm.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is arguably best on mountain. Great pool and spa and great sports shop in house.
Cons: Rooms, especially bathrooms getting pretty aged now, and “feature” bar and restaurant both closed for private, noisy functions. Got called day after checking out to let me know that I was overdue to check out that morning (ie I had already checked out a day ago).....overall, it’s not what it used to be, especially given price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the chalet many years ago and returned. The location is the excellent. You are a few metres from the Bourke Street Lift. You can ski in and Out. The room we had was spacious and clean.
Cons: The Hotel is now a bit outdated. It requires a bit of a refurbishment.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jo was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to ensure the visit was an amazing experience for the whole family
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was a nice house great kitchen
Cons: After booking on line 1 adult 3 17 years old $320 night 1 night looking in the room there was a mattes protector and a blanket and was told if we were wanting a fitted sheet it was $10 per bed after travelling the world I have never been told this I couldn’t believe what I was hearing if you want to charge people just up your booking price to cater for it not drop your price to make yours seem to be competitive but with hidden cost
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts! Clean updated lodge with cleanliness and comfort at a high standard. Really happy with our stay and we will be back

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and pool.
Cons: Ran out of food for breakfast.
6.3 Good
Pros: The Breakfast was ok, pretty basic but at least included in the price. I loved the floor heating, very cosy and the pillows were very good. The location was very good, just a short walk into the village.
Cons: When we arrived late morning we were abit unsure about where to leave our gear and the receptionist wasn't very helpful. We didn't like the noise coming from the bar both nights we stayed. There was a singer performing the first night and you could hear every word he was singing and this went on until 1am. Next night there was just loud music. All we wanted was a good nights sleep, but very hard to get with all the noise. The bathroom definitely needs updating, very 70's tiles.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: location is fabulous wonderful for families!
Cons: n/a
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location right next to Chamois. Recommend for ease of access to slopes and village!
Cons: Overpriced given the condition of facilities and comparatively to other lodges in the same area.
7.5 Good
Pros: resturants and game room are very kids friendly
Cons: bed noisy, and bathroom tiles
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The bar is too noisy, cannot sleep
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast would have been great if they had supplies. When we arrived for breakfast around 7.45am there was no cereal (only one small box of weetbix) , no butter and I had to ask for milk, juice and bread which we were told they had run out. So was a bit disappointing as we were told breakfast was included in our booking.
Cons: Overall the staff, place and location was excellent but a revamp might be in order the place looking a bit tired now.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was great, the ski hire was very handy and accessible, and a very reasonable price. The restaurant on site provided great food from kids meals to steak and pizza.
Cons: The beds were terrible constant squeaking when anyone moved. The toilet cistern constantly leaked. And the room was far too hot & there was no adjustment available. The door lock/handle/latch was very loose. Anyone could’ve pushed our door open.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location is great. The reception staff is gteat
Cons: Our room was over the bar and a live band which felt like they were playing in our roomed was awful. The rooms have no soundproofing. The metal bed squeaked dreadfully. The breakfast was cheap sliced break with some cereal. That IS not continental breakfast. No fruit as in picture. The sauna was broken. The spa had cold water

9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is lovely and the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, the room was very clean and the fire place heater was beautiful and cozy!
Cons: Unfortunately the sauna wasn’t working when we were these which was a shame because we particularly booked this location to use the spa facilities!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and everything you needed in one hotel. Fabulous food options, close to ski hire, ski school and slopes. Helpful and friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel has good location near the ski school, great facilities especially their pool & spa. We also got discounts when hiring ski gear next door
Cons: We requested queen bed and the hotel combined 2 singles into 1. The bed itself was good but not comfortable because there’s gap in the middle. I think the room size is reasonable for the 2 of us and we don’t mind it at all. Overall stay was good until our last night at the hotel. We were kept awake because of the bubbling noice from either water tank/pool next door. It was loud and echoing in the room. We asked the staff to check it but they couldn’t find anything, we think probably it’s from inside the wall. It went all night until maybe 3 am in the morning. Not ideal when you have to check out & drive back to Melb the next day. Other than this, we were quite happy with the stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location facilities food service
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the apartment loved the restaurant loved how close we were to the lifts a really fabulous hotel
Cons: We were put next to the kids play room and we have no kids and it was very loud.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Breathtaker Resort is a great place to stay with superb staff to compliment it, a special thanks to Anna. Although the restaurant in the evening was closed whilst we were there, we had the breakfast , which was up to a very good standard with a nice selection of foods. Location of the Hotel is great with a short walk to the village and chairlifts. The Pool and Spa are fantastic additions and are nice after cycling or outdoor pursuits.
Cons: The rooms are smaller than expected but overall with 6 of us in our party we managed to move around whilst inside quite fine. I will note in the room we were staying in there is a spiral staircase to the upper floor which for certain persons this maybe a problem.

Pros: We got engaged on this trip and the staff at the restaurant were so so so lovely and complimentary. we had lots of fun at dinner, the staff and food were absolutely amazing. We loved the TV lounge and balcony and views all around. location was AMAZING and ski shop down stairs was SO convenient. Would stay here again.
Cons: the bed's were a little uncomfortable and we were a bit disappointed in the selection of breakfast food (no hot food) and fresh fruit wasn't in great condition. But we loved our stay regardless and it was a lovely cozy hotel.

Pros: Restaurant was expensive but worth every dollar - the food was amazing. Breakfast had a good selection. All the facilities like store room and drying room were great, and the hotel is right next to Bourke St run. Rooms were very generous in size
Cons: Beds were very soft and not good for a sore back, but otherwise there was everything that you needed like soaps/shampoo/towels.

3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Noise and Weed and Ambivalent management. Spent the night at this backpackers, unfortunately next door to a room full of bong heads who were noisy all night. No management around at all to enforce curfew (the stay at a different location), Would not recommend for a peaceful nights sleep.
