Excellent 10.0
Pros: The style, decor, comfortable sofas everywhere, the food & the service was superb
Cons: not applicable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautifully manicured grounds with Nepalese decor enhanced with professional staff and delicious food
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was fantastic 2 days stay. Absolutely stunning room and facilities. we were upgraded to junior suit and it looks like ancient palace. Even cosmetic in bathroom was natural and soft. Both restaurants Japanese and Local which we have visited provided us fantastic dinners. Territory of the hotel is like Botanic garden around ancient buildings with a lot of authentic details sculptures and furniture. Highly recommend this hotel for people who wanna dive inside Nepal culture comfortably and intensive. Many thanks for friendly stuff who provide high level service from first hour till the last, including traditional spa - we took Ayurvedic massage with oil.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Authentic style and beautiful
Cons: Nothing not to like
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It's really a sanctuary from the noisy and dusty Kathmandu.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very peaceful hotel, tastefully furnished and well placed for the airport
Cons: I’m not sure why airport transfers have to be so expensive, not only this hotel but in general.
Excellent 10.0
So amazing from the staff to the food to the Devore to the service. All an 11 out of 10!
Excellent 10.0
It is near to the K airport and simple to reach in no time after arrival. The hotel is built around a large open yard with guest rooms within the outside and restaurants and seating areas within the center. There are five eateries, from fine dining to bar food. The rooms are expansive and pleasantly designated. Our room was huge, tremendous bed, normal luxuries within the washroom with bounty of free bottles of water. The property is excellent with conventional wood carvings all over, unique furniture, and stunning yard. It's area made getting to the different destinations around town helpful and it is near to the airport. The rooms are similarly, well-appointed and roomy. There is a nice pool and great bar next to it. The gift shops are very nice, including a furniture store.
Excellent 10.0
What a great hotel it is - the staff is hospitable, the building itself is like a national treasure, soaked with rich history. How did this hotel start and how it became what it is now, it is very warm for the residents and the whole community. The woodcarvings on the building are excellent - I have never seen them before. We also had a very authentic Nepalese dinner at the Krishnarpan restaurant, which was delicious. There are about 7 dishes, you can definitely eat too much! The staff was very nice and also helped us keep our luggage for 1 nights.
Excellent 10.0
From the moment I walked in, the receptionist and the staff were incredibly polite and knew what they were doing. The huge smiles & warm welcome from the Receptionist & staff set the tone, right from the very start, and they were all so helpful & courteous. This was be most amazing experience. We booked an executive suite but upon arrival was upgraded to the royal suite. The food was beyond tastey. We had both Nepalese cuisine and continental and couldn’t complain at all. We will definitely visit again and for a much longer period.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is like an island of peace and beauty in the chaos and traffic of Katmandu. Everything is very pleasant to our senses and I wish to point to the kindness and sweetness of the people working in the hotel. It is understandably a bit expensive but we found it acceptable and rather compensated by the pleasant staying. Just to find something to improve I would indicate the breakfast which can be richer in variety and perhaps serve a better coffee. I would indicate the Dwarika’s as the first choice in Katmandu, by all means. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is an intimate luxury boutique hotel that embraces Nepal's artistic heritage. Every corner seems like a painting. The staff are well-trained to go above and beyond; they anticipate what you need and deliver before you even ask for it. That for me is the true definition of 5 stars This is a place that values service and rapport, above all. Everything is personal, from the moment you check in, to the dining experience. I absolutely love the breakfast spread! What an exquisite selection of organic juices, honey and bread. The omelette and pancake station will fix your craving for comfort. Spend time at the spa, you can thank me later because of the most relaxing experience you'll have. In a nutshell, Dwarika's has the essence of home, heart of a temple and design of an art museum. Certified as one of Nepal's best kept secrets. Hands down, the most beautiful hotel in Kathmandu. Truly highly recommended.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: I've been upgraded and the room was perfect, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Offered me coffee in the room and early check in!
Cons: The noise from the school and the people talking loudly in the patio all afternoon and evening. Not a place to take a nap!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hotel is situated in good place, not on main streets, that’s why no nose. Staff is very helpful and could answer any question you have.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location, room, price, wifi and staff. Everything was perfect. It is located within Thamel, but away from the noisy main streets, giving you a good night's sleep. Very good value for money. I had a late flight and the hotel allowed me to do a late checkout for free which was great! Amazing staff!
Cons: Everything was perfect! I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Kathmandu!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely place with lovely personal. Especially Suman made my evening with recommending food and calling to wake me up before breakfast closed as I slept through my alarm.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: nice rooftop. quiet rooms. nice view on 3rd floor
Cons: first day I got the 1st floor room with no views.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff is extremely accommodating and kind even in extra-ordinary circumstances. Location is quiet yet close to Thames and most sites. Showers are hot and with good water pressure.
Cons: There were periods when the internet was put for hours on end, but in my experience that is quite common everywhere in Nepal.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: friendlier staff and cozy indoor/outdoor built environment. we had a short and sweet stay over there.
Cons: there were less choices on breakfast menu.// may be due to pandemic.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is very good at position, service, food and room environment. Thanks so much and will book this hotel again. Especially thanks to the restaurant servants!
Excellent 10.0
All of the staff were super helpful and nothing was too difficult. The room was great with a comfortable bed. The hotel is close to the shops and cafes which is great for exploring. The hotel driver was awesome and showed us all the sites. We would happily stay there again

Excellent 10.0
Upon arrival, I was given a room of superior quality compared to the one booked. Very spacious room, comfortable king-size bed, comfortable bathroom, sofa area with armchairs, overlooking a garden. Perfect! The very kind staff that has also prepared a 'packed' breakfast, given the departure at 6 in the morning. In general, good breakfast, maybe better but still good! And the location is fine, not in Thamel center, but on the outskirts. Nice and quiet, no problems with music from the cafés. Continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
The hotel is a bit outside Thamel which is actually a very good thing because it's quieter but also closer to Durbar square. The staff could not have done more to make our stay any better. The effort that they put in to make sure you have everything you need is phenomenal. I had to keep reminding myself how inexpensive the stay was given the attention and level of service we received. Nothing was touch trouble. I love the inside garden, the big room overlooking the garden, the terrace. We won't hesitate to go back. Will definitely recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Great advantages of Taleju is that it's located in a very quiet area but still very close to Thamel (in walking distance, approx. 5 min). Staff is very friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful at all times of the day, quite because separated from the street by the building and excellent to sit and relax, have a drink, read or eat something. Walls are thin and clairaudience meaning poorly soundproofed so it will be quite loud in the rooms if the hotel is becoming full. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Good 7.0
Cons: Kathmandu is a tourist city and capital of nepal but honestly surprised to see that all restaurants including the in built restaurant of the hotel where you intend to stay closes at 9:00 pm. which means if you reach your room at 10:00 pm you will have to sleep the night without food and thats what exactly happened with me. I do understand the restrictions but atleast the in house restaurants to be availabe till 12:00 am of the night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was extremely quiet with everything needed (heat, hot water, television. the space more than enough for one person. Also the staff reserved the top floor room, taking into account the comment I left for a room at higher floors
Cons: There was nothing too bad to mention, I would just like to have been informed that there wouldn’t be a buffet breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: People are so Nice in Friends hôtel ! Ready to help at any Time for anything. Thank you again for everithing you did for us ! Well situated in Thamel and the room was really comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Place was very comfortable and nice. Hotel staff were also very pleasant :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Friends Home. The hotel located quiet street of Central thamel near to everything like restaurant ,supermarket ,shopping centre ,tourist bus park, airport . Hotel was very clean and well sanitized. Our room was specious, bright and all the amenities available what we needed. We had got a really good price for room compared services and amenities what we paid was under valued. Thank you for such a promotion on booking.com plate forms. The hotel internet was super fast and all the time available hot and cold shower. Rooms TV has many channels as well as AC worked very well. They do serve food and beverage at the restaurant as well as room .we had a dinner at hotel which was delicious and price was reasonable compare many restaurant in Kathmandu. Thank you very much the entire team of hotel friends home for your warm welcomed us and warm hospitality .we appreciated it. We will comeback soon. I highly recommend hotel friends home for everyone .
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was great and the hotel area was quiet at night but close to everything in Thamel. Internet speed was good.
Cons: Hot water was an issue. Everyday we had to call to the front desk to notify them of no hot water. They would tell us wait 5 minutes, because of a bubble in the line. This was a pretty common issue in most hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. I think it has more to do with the cost of heating water and hotels hoping that no one asks or tells them they have none to save money. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at in Nepal, this was a common problem in 4 of them. Also, if you pay by credit card for your bill, they charge an additional 3.75% to the bill. This was not stated on Booking.com website. The total price on Booking said the price included all taxes and fees.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The manager is a very understanding, friendly, and very supportive too. Staff members are really friendly and respectful. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Location is great, as it is close to everything. Would suggest anyone going to Kathmandu to book here. I definitely will again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good manager job

Excellent 10.0
The hotel is centrally found in Thamel near to the centre. Rooms are clean, pleasant rooftop terrace where you can oversee Kathmandu, incredible breakfast and nourishment is served there. This property sits right within the center of shopping and nourishment with diverse cultures in any direction. The staff at hotel will set you up with site seeing or activities away from hotel and take pride in truly caring about visitors. The rooms are so clean and well kept up and nourishment from breakfast to supper is so delightful. Astonishing area, amazing service, clean and there was continuously hot water in the shower. The bed was comfortable and inviting after long days walking around.
Excellent 10.0
This is good place to stay at and explore around Thamel, old markets and oldest part of Kathmandu.
Excellent 10.0
This quaint old world hotel is far from the bustling streets of Kathmandu, with a beautiful large garden and a swimming pool. It mixes neoclassical architecture and country cottages, without the charm and spectacular surprises I have experienced in other traditional hotels. A short walk to Thamel's shopping and restaurant district, 20 minutes walk to Durbar Square, very convenient. This is a good quality 4 star hotel. My room was small but comfortable and the sheets were soft. With all the modern facilities that people expect, the network is fast. The staff is very polite and helpful. I lived happily and recommended this hotel.
Excellent 10.0
The lodging is centrally found in Thamel, fair off the active roads. There are different floors and a housetop porch. The room is clean, bed is comfortable and shower is sweet. Rooms are clean and open. Exceptionally reasonable as well. Nourishment is great, but over all its the level of neighborliness that will certainly discover me coming back. You'll rest at night with a calm environment without those boisterous clamor from the center. Breakfast is included on the rate too!
Excellent 10.0
They make it clear as soon as you walk in the door that 'This is The Friends Hotel' and that's exactly what they mean. We couldn't have been happier with the room. The staff was amazing. I always thought this was not a big deal but here, the staff was helping us so much. They were giving us tips, what to do's. And they were genuinely interested of what we were doing. The manager arranged driver to Nagarkot for much cheaper price. They truly care about their guests. We would happily recommend Hotel Friends to anyone visiting Kathmandu.
Excellent 10.0
Stayed at this hotel in Thamel, my friend recommended it. So glad he did, the staff is so helpful from the manager down to all the cleaners. The airport pickup early morning was super and they even let us have a temporary room to shower and change from our travel clothes. They then provided us with a very early breakfast - excellent. The room is spacious and has everything you would need for a short stay. Location is super and there are always helpful taxi drivers to take you further afield. Found the WiFi quick and very reliable. When I return to Kathmandu I will definitely book this hotel again. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: They catered to my every need. Great place to stay.
Cons: The air pollution. All of Kathmandu is like that.

Pros: Fantastic upscale hotel at an affordable price. It's clean and quiet with cold air con and nice hot water shower. Great location in Thamel, down a little side street with no traffic so really peaceful. The food is delicious, plentiful and delivered with a smile. Highly recommended!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful regarding quarantining and getting necessary PCR test after five days. The room was wonderful, especially the balcony, which gave some extra space. The rooms were very clean and tiday.
Cons: Nothing really it made transitioning through quarantine very pleasant and the time went quickly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Best hotel in town to stay, I highly recommend any travelers to stay in Mums Home. Comfortable beds, neat and clean room, best food, friendly staffs
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This was my second time staying. The staff are super friendly and very helpful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We chose HMH for a five day mandatory quarantine. Our deluxe suite was spacious, light, airy and very comfortable, with desk space for both of us, and great wifi. Delicious food, helpful staff, quiet location.
Excellent 10.0
This is my favourite hotel in Kathmandu, I keep returning and I recommend to friends frequently. The rooms are lovely, warm with great warm showers!
Excellent 10.0
The room was very clean and big. It's located quite close to the tourist area but it's in an inner street so retain a quiet environment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They always helped us with everything we needed. Everyone from the front desk to the driver are very pleasant and accommodating. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We also got a good deal with their travel desk and had an amazing tour guide. Breakfast was also a value for your money. Location was in a little street that is tucked away from the noise but very walkable to the main street. Overall it is a pleasure to stay at Hotel Mum. Great service.
Excellent 10.0
From The moment we arrived, the staff at moms home made us feel welcome. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. The staff goes out of their way to make you happy. From the fantastic buffet breakfast to the location right in the heart of Thames, our stay was very enjoyable. They make you complimentary cups of tea and refill your water bottles. They literally even buttered our toast. Pampered without paying a lot! Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Everything ok! Nice hotel near The Boudhanath Stupa. Clean and big rooms.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room is large; the bed is comfortable and clean; the food in the roof garden restaurant is delicious. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from Boudha stupa and it’s very quiet at night. good value for money. Recommend their food message, relax and reasonable price.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Mediocre 2.0
Bad hotel, bad people and very bad rooms
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Se below.
Cons: Not really the hotels fault, but the main road running just outside is one of the most dust-polluted areas of greater Kathmandu. 8 out of 10 people you pass on the road are wearings masks, and after dark you can really see the high level of dust in the air in front of the cars headlights: It looks like fog. Yes, you do have to walk this road to get to/from the great stupa, which is very close to the hotel. And again in the evening should you wish to dine on a rooftop cafe with stupa views. The road has lots of traffic meaning the street dust gets constantly sucked up into the air. Unfortunately, even though this could easily be solved by the city by removing the dust from the streets, it seems at though everyone has just accepted this is the way things are.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff go above and beyond to please Extremely polite & friendly, rooms are very clean & food is delicious
Good 7.9
Pros: The Spa was outstanding. The reception staff and room cleaning staff were all very helpful, polite, and hardworking- eager to ease my stay and my visit to Nepal in any way they could. The room was incredibly big. Shower got hot quickly and was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast left much to be desired. The first issue was it took 3 attempts of ordering a menu item for the staff to place the correct order (in this case sautéed carrots and a grilled tomato). There were insects around the fruit and juice areas, which is concerning. Breakfast staff need higher levels of English in order to interact with international guests. The toiletries were a bit limited- there was no hair conditioner included. Also the toilet lid was broken on one side and toilet paper roll holder was installed in the wrong place making it difficult to access for people who actually use toilet paper.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really great hotel in a great location.
Excellent 10.0
The hotel is located in Kathmandu and everything is great. The hotel is close to the Bodhha. The room was very comfortable and the food was great. The best is also the hotel staff. My wife was ill during the trip and the hotel staff was busy making sure my wife was well cared for. We met the hotel owner and the manager and expressed their warm welcome to us. The most difficult thing I think is that I have to check out when I leave, and say goodbye to this great group of people. We will be back.
Excellent 10.0
My unused favorite inn in Kathmandu. It has all the charm and beauty, the neighborly staff and wonderful benefit of the original Hotel Tibet in Lazimpat. Usually not just a lodging but a exceptional put where visitors can get a Buddhist cultural encounter, with Buddhist craftsmanship and crafted works in each room, at the side scrumptious nourishment and all the present day comforts. Class and fashion coupled with the warmth of the staff and faultlessly clean rooms, as it were a 5-minute walk from the Boudhanath Stupa, a 20-minute walk to Pashupatinath. I found this the idealize area, the culminate inn to call domestic. Not to specify the housetop breakfast patio neglecting the stupa. And the cost is right, astounding esteem for cash.
Excellent 10.0
We have been staying at both Hotel Tibet locations for years each time we return to Nepal. Both locations are convenient and surprisingly quiet in such a large and loud city. The staff is incredibly well trained, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. They always welcome us warmly on each return. We held a private event this visit and the restaurant and catering staff went above and beyond what we could have expected. The food was amazing and the staff was so attentive making sure we all got our fill of food and drink. Our outdoor party was quickly relocated inside without a hiccup when it started to rain in the evening. Whether staying at the Bouda or Lazimpat location, both hotels are gorgeous and the walls are covered with colorful Tibetan painting and gorgeous wood carvings. The rooftops are amazing and provide full food and drink service, a wonderful way to spend an evening. The food/drink always impresses and the restaurant staff is amazing. The included breakfast is a large spread of fresh fruit, juices, pastries, omelets, a full buffet. Anything you could ask for! Why would you stay in a Marriot or some other chain hotel when you can stay at a local owned Tibetan hotel and really experience Nepal and it's kind and generous people. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent customer service. Staffs are very friendly. Neat & clean rooms. Breakfast is awesome. Would love to stay again. Recommend for everyone. 👍👍👍
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was not a buffet, because of the low number of guests, but breakfast was good. The room is spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is wonderful, just a few minutes walk to the main Boudhanath stupa.
Good 6.0
Pros: The frieedly staff in kitchen.
Cons: At first it was cold room, but were give blankets.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We liked Heritage room very much. It is like ahome away from home. Beautiful, clean, peeceful. It is not that close to Bodhanath stupa but it is no problem, as it is very comfortable. Hotel manager is excellent, was trying hard to meet our needs.
Cons: In a standard room where we've been put first by mistake, the heating system was not functioning properly and I got sick that night. Was trying hard to explain it to the receptionist but she didn't seem to understand or willing to help. When we were relocated to Heritage room by the manager everything has become perfect. Big thanks to him.
Good 6.0
Pros: The staffs r very friendly.
Cons: The location of the hotel is quite off from the main road that is not easy to be found by taxi driver, especially went back to hotel in the evening.
Excellent 9.6
One suggestion: install ceiling fan or standing fan in rooms. Otherwise wonderful stay!

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Notthing
Cons: Very cold room. Not clean , lots of dogs barking.Sorry for the review i must tell how i feel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I’ve been here two years ago and came back because of the lovely atmosphere, which still exists! Lovely stuff and a comfortable room.
Cons: Nothing ;)
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Too loud barking dogs
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful. It's one km from the boudhanath stupa. It's good value for a double room. Perfect if you want a place to stay near the stupa and monasteries. Hot water available
Cons: The place is a little hard to find. The gate of the street closes by 10.30 pm and no street lights. Lots of dogs barking at night
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location very good, close to restaurants and the Stupa. Parking onsite, so good when you have your own transportation. Has water refills to minimize plastic waste, very happy about that. Shower had hot water. Great view from the room.
Cons: Bathroom needed a bit of cleaning, but wasn't too bad.
Good 7.1
Pros: Located in a quite neighbour hood about a 10minute walk to the Stupa. Small dorm rooms with good bathroom and water pressure. Staff helpful and friendly.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Special thanks to administrator at the reception Sonam for her help, understanding and smiles.
Excellent 10.0
One of the most interesting things of this guest house is the location. The Guest House is situated 5 minutes walking from Stupa. So in this way you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Stupa without feel the crowd of the streets more near. It's like stay in the middle of one of the most representative attractions of Katmandu, but at the same time you don't feel stress for the volume of people of the neighborhood. In relation with the accommodation have good value price. So the rooms are clean and they offer you all the facilities that you need for a nice stay. Likewise you have the opportunity to use the kitchen. So in this way give you the opportunity to can save some money. However there are some cheap restaurants near from the guest house where you can eat. For example one of the restaurants is Ngawa, just 2 minutes from the Guest House. In relation with the staff were so helpful. Amazing view from the roof. On sunny days, when the sky is clear, you can see all the mountains!!!! The only part that maybe it will be nice to improve it will be the Hall. So the feeling is a little bit cold.
Excellent 9.6
This guest house are near Boudhanath. The room is clean and also spacey. The bed are too soft and cold, so must layered with blanket in the winter. The bed also sound when u are moving. The staff are kind and helpful.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great architecture warm staff front office Ms Sujita was super and service very good. Stupa view rooms are best but restaurant needs revamp of menu as too limited.
Cons: restaurant needs revamp and maybe new chef
Good 7.0
Pros: location of the property is very good.
Cons: too costly with zero luxury. old Proporty maintained very badly..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: there was plenty of room to walk around, lounge, and get a nice view on a nice day. this hotel is by far the best that I have stayed in. 10/10 recommended for travelers. also the staff was the best I have ever seen.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Property is Amazing, near Airport and main area of city, excellent restaurant and lounge area. SPA is very good!
Cons: All was good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The service felt like it was doing minimal to keep in running. They don't even leave an extra toilet paper which is basic. Almost nine of the guests were wearing masks. And the staffs were scared to request guests to wear masks.
Cons: Clean, spacious room, spacious lobby.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good and lots of variety. Fruit could have been better.
Cons: The fountains to the pool were not working the second day we were there. Pool could have been cleaner. When we arrived and went to our room our keys didn't work. Also the TV didn't work. Being close to airport can be noisy.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Such an awful hotel I haven’t seen all over the world! . 1. I’ve seen several times that I have birthday. But nothing has happened. 2. They haven’t charger in hotel at all. 3. So dirty restaurant I haven’t seen. A lot of fat, digging 4. Staff only listen and look at you. They do nothing and smile.
Good 6.8
Not as how it used to be.
Excellent 10.0
We all upgraded the room to the club floor, in order to enjoy breakfast, night reception, free transportation and other services, it is worth upgrading! There are many different food choices for the night reception, and the choice is more than one night we ended up eating dinner at the restaurant. The room facilities are very complete and the water pressure of the shower is very strong. I also appreciate the fact that the hair dryer is inserted in the drawer of the dresser, so I can look in the mirror while blowing my hair. This hotel is an oasis on the dusty roads of Kathmandu. The entrance and lobby areas are beautiful!
Its the foremost excellent property like a resort, with meticulosly kept up clean rooms, offices & amenities given meets the requirements of all age bunches exceptionally affable, making a difference & inviting staff at all levels. The nourishment at the breakfast buffet and supper buffet was awesome. Continuously a decent choice and I delighted in my omelet each morning. The spa and saunas are super decent, particularly for post-trekking recuperation! Within walking distance to The Stupa which was a great experience!
Excellent 10.0
It was an amazing place , the decoration related the culture and u feel it like a temple in the middle of beautiful gardens. One of the best experiences so far. They truly went out of their way and accomodated every request I had. I would highly recommend this place to any one who wants to explore Kathmandu. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Big, lush gardens with nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. Very good dinner and breakfast buffet with a large selection of international cuisine. There is nothing more that could have been done to better our experience. Beautiful hotel with nice pool, delicious food and good location.
Excellent 10.0
It’s a beautiful hotel, traditional as well as modern. Once you enter the hotel you will forget that you are in the middle of the city. Wisely done landscaping makes it a calm, comfortable resort. You will have Nice jogging track for your morning walk, enough space for yoga and badminton practice. We got Buddha stupa facing room which was beautiful, clean, comfortable and filled with all the amenities. Buffet restaurant “The cafe” has so much to offer. Good food, Good service. Chef K. Santosh was excellent, polite and knowledgeable. We love our stay in Hyatt. My favorite part was a lobby, every evening we used to sit and enjoy live music there. It’s the perfect place if you are with the family. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Looks like a Nepali Palace. Really lovely. Very close to some of the key sites. Good pool, spa, etc.
Cons: Cuisine options too limited.
Excellent 9.5
The services was amazing and the staff were extremely polite. The buffet contained an extensive range of food. Overall, it was an excellent stay. However, it would have been better if there was a handshower in each room.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff, services, business lounge, happy hour.
Cons: Pool too cold. Constant power outages, inconvenient location.
Good 6.3
Pros: Ambience was good. .Was also built as per the ancient Hindu temple structure so liked that. .The plush green joggers park and Tennis courts were one of the best features of the Hotel..
Cons: Food was tailor made to Westerners. .US Indians had very little options given the fact that Nepal culture is very much influenced by Hindu Indian culture....The entire set up was pro West with Indian culture taking a back seat..In room Menu was poor with limited options..Lack of Co - irritation among Hotel staff...A lady just walked into my room for house keeping while I was still in the room which got escalated to a high level. ...However the entire episode was hushed up by not charging us for that night and the next to follow. .

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast is very good.
Good 7.9
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff. Our balcony was private and the hotel has a garden area that is a real haven from the city's chaos and dust. Breakfast was basic but with surprisingly good coffee. Compared with other properties we stayed with in Kathmandu, Hotel Siddhi Manakamana is excellent value for money.
Cons: Hot water shower was a bit unreliable, but otherwise the hotel was comfortable and clean.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Difficult to locate, the taxis cannot locate the place. Breakfast menu needs improvement .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: BREAKFAST! COURTYARD! STAFF! DECOR! BED!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is not too far away from the Boudhanath Stupa but far enough away from the noise. It is nice and quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and will always help if you need anything.
Cons: Breakfast was limited but the server was always nice and friendly. Electricity cuts happen regularly In Kathmandu and not all rooms come with a/c. The hotel rooms were humid, but we did visit in the rainy season. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned. We asked them to pick us up at the airport but they did not arrive.

Okay 4.0
Pros: Excellent location for visiting the Stupa.
Cons: Extremely noisy hotel with slamming doors and a very sour, unhelpful receptionist.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: great location, pleasant staff
Cons: pretty noisy- the layout - an open several story area, made for a noise tunnel
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Towel rack too close to the toilet seat. Hope it's only my room like that.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great stay at Boudha! Good food friendly stuffs. Thanks a lot!
Good 6.0
Pros: The location of this guest house is great! One can truly 'be' in the Bhouda space and one does not have to fight traffic to get there! It was wonderful to be able to visit the art schools in the circle and being able to do shopping literally on one's doorstep, again without having to fight the traffic. The monastery is also very open and available and being able to listen to the chanting of the monks, receiving blessings and in general observe and feel the goings on around the temple is truly lovely. The staff is helpful and friendly and very accommodating.
Cons: It is a very echoing building and definitely not quiet. People don't seem to take note of silence and I was rudely woken up my tourists at 4 in the morning talking at the top of their voices right outside my door. The same goes for the cleaning staff who starts to work quite early. It will be great if the staff could be alerted to the noise level, as one can hear the voices from reception clearly. There is also a copper factory so be prepared for a lot of banging whilst people get on with business. Definitely not a place for deep sleep or silence, but the closeness of the temple makes up for everything else.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Everything else excellent. Solar power water heater renewable energy helps to improve air quality in kathmandu valley.
Cons: Hotwater did not come despite left tap hot water open. Later realised need to drain initial cold water from both left taps of basin and shower to allow hotwater out.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The solar heater is renewable energy - fantastic. Prevent further air pollution to the kathmandu valley.
Cons: To get hot shower water, I was told to drain initial cold water at left tap. Should put a bucket to collect the initial cold water to flush toilet
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent location right on the Boudha Stupa Circle with a rooftop restaurant/cafe overlooking the Stupa. The room was large and comfortable and staff helpful and also packed us a breakfast box as we had an early morning flight before breakfast commenced. The location is great with so many awesome little Tibetan restaurants around if you are keen to venture beyond the Stupa and overpriced tourist restaurants.
Cons: This is not an issue with the property at all, just some helpful advice... our taxi driver has trouble locating the guesthouse as you cannot drive to it. You need to walk from one of the Stupa entry gates.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location Friendly staff Flexibly-of breakfast timing to suit our departure which was nice!
Cons: The AC didn’t work and had to keep the table fan on all the time to cool down the room.

Pros: Except mattress everything was ok... food was too costly
Cons: Matress
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Proximity to the airport. Easy accessibility to anywhere to the city. Friendly staffs.
Cons: Security should be improved. cctv , security personal should be available in all public areas. Elevator doesn't work always .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic location and service, excellent experience.
Excellent 9.2
The place is right opposite the Tribhuwan International Airport. I got a nice room with close access to the Terrace and with less people (2020 of course) it was a great place to stay.
Excellent 10.0
Very close to airport it took only 2 minutes walk to reach the hotel. Big spacious rooms with good house keeping. The staff were absolutely lovely , so welcoming and accommodating and made you feel part of their little family. They help with anything you need and beyond. Willing to help with anything and always very positive and welcoming. They took me for free to the airport and they prepared my breakfast (included in the price) to take a way. I did really appreiate it. I recommend if you are staying at regal you must take their top floor rooms view from terrace is awesome.

Poor 1.0
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Cons: Despite having a confirmed booking, we got a different type of room.. Then to our unpleasant surprise was a ridiculously dirty washroom with no flush, no toilet paper or tissue, no exhaust fan, and nothing good.. Then we were served really cold and untidy plate of dinner at a very dirty table full of smoke ashes outside of the room because there was a rule that they’d check for any stain or dirt on bedsheet before checkout... we had to return the food because it wasn’t eatable.. we then wanted something else for food, atleast a fast snack.. but another surprise was; there was nothing available to eat.. Next morning, we got the breakfast almost 1 hour late and that included just a cup of tea with three small pieces of bread and a small omelette.. what else should I explain about my stay now?!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast was so good that I broke my usual fast, as I usually do not have breakfast. Their breakfast, especially the Puri Bhaji was amazing. They do Alo Paratha as well. They have many options on the menu. For dinner I had a very nice filling and sumptuous Dal Baht.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location
Cons: mnjy
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel manager and staff are very friendly and helpful, and I felt very comfortable there! The location is great - just a few minutes away from Pashupatinath temple. If I go back to Kathmandu, I'll stay there again
Cons: Pollution and dust. But guess this you can't help in Kathmandu
Excellent 10.0

Poor 1.0
Pros: Bad experience in my life
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.0
Pros: Great Location. Opposite to Kathmandu international airport. Good complimentary breakfast.
Cons: I found the rooms to be overpriced. I stayed at much better rooms for the same price in Pokhara and Sauraha (chitwan). Don't go for deluxe room. Very poor experience. Family rooms are far better. This can be an option if you are looking for one or two day halt in Kathmandu. Not more than that.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location is perfect, just walkable to airport. Breakfast was awesome. Pick up and drop off service was great but they need bigger car
Cons: Power sockets were HORRIBLE & Not working for charging. I had to call them to fix it. They need to fix power sockets ASAP to meet their standards. Elevator not working sometime. Tv complicated with multiple remotes.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I think it's location close to the airport is a big plus, and accessible to many restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly, breakfast seems good and service requests are met promptly. Next time while travelling via Kathmandu airport I will choose this hotel to stay in again with no hesitation.
Cons: Can't think of any, sorry.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Food, hospitality, friendly staff, close to airport.
Cons: Noisy location.
Good 7.0
Cons: 1. The presence of wifi service was of no use, it couldn't help me with my work. There was no bandwidth available, also it was disconnecting very frequently. 2. Not much of choice available in breakfast if you are a vegetarian and If you reach to the restaurant post 8 A.M for lunch, there will be chances that most of the items were already over.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: bed was comfy and good location
Cons: poor service, breakfast was below standard
Excellent 10.0
The waiters are really with the will of giving satisfaction to the customer and are really nice. Thank you.
Good 7.2
If you want to save money for excursions or tours, then stay here. If you are looking for basic needs being met and are not interested in plush accommodations, then stay here. The location is directly across the street from the airport which is just a short walk away. The hotel staff are friendly and kind and so are the security staff outside in the front parking lot. Be aware of the multiple steps up and down to the main entrance, they can be very slippery, trust me I found that out the hard way because the steps were wet.
Excellent 10.0
Hotel is next to airport, very friendly staff and clean place to stay. Good breakfast Best place to stay close to airport
Good 7.6
Good value for money. Conveniently located bang opposite the airport, about 5 to 6 KM away from the city centre. Really helpful if your travelling as a 3 member team as they have a family room that can comfortable accommodate 3 ppl.
Good 7.6
Ok place to stay for one night if you have a flight the next day - close to airport. Tidy room but quite noisy with traffic. Organised airport pickup but no-one there to pick me up as flight was delayed. Disappointing as I was flying solo and had to organise own transport to hotel.
Good 6.0
Pros: Good location close to airport. There are two Thakali food joints closeby. Free airport shuttle service. Cons: Strong smell of mildew and sheet and pillowcases looked worn and unwashed.
Good 6.0
The location of the hotel is right across from the airport and the “suite room” we booked was quite large, but the service at the hotel was lacking. We were not helped with our bags on arrival, they did not leave us towels 3 days in a row, they called our room at 4:00 am for a wake up call that we did not order and they gave away our room after saying we could have a late check out. The restaurant was ok.
Excellent 10.0
It is by far the best hotel in Airport area. Very nice hotel with the best management and rooms are too cozy and clean with niceview of airport. Staff were so lovely and happy to help any query, all very professional and ready to help in a minutes notice. They made me feel I was at home. The view of the mountains from the restaurant is beautiful. Their Dhalbhat is to die for. The bed was an absolute cloud to sleep on. So incredibly comfortable. My stay was the best stay at meridian, we are very happy with their service. If I ever get back to Kathmandu, will definitely stay here again.

Okay 5.8
Pros: With backpack or rolling suitcase this is walking distance from the airport (about 500m). However we had a lot of luggage and were stopped from taking a luggage trolley with us, so we got stuck. Need a taxi. The room was very clean, even by my Japanese standards! Staff was very friendly.
Cons: It was not comfortable. No heater, seemingly no hot water. Building old and not nice anymore, even my seven years old son said: they should have renovated this room before letting anyone stay. Next time I would pay more to get a nicer hotel.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Near airport and staff is very helpful.
Cons: If provide sleeper, hairdryer and electronic kettle in the room would be good.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing hotel condition was very bad. There was no hot water on 11 C . AC didn’t work. Not enough blanket to get rid of cold
Cons: There was very noise like noise of dog whole night. As a result can’t get enough sleep.
Good 7.9
Pros: Fantastic price and location. Friendly helpful staff. Right across the street from the domestic airport although would not necessarily be an easy walk.
Cons: Hard mattress and thick hard pillow. Bathroom was a basic as I've seen. Hot water was inconsistent.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The bed was soft and the it was a five minutes walk from the airport
Cons: This hotel was completely over priced and mis represented on booking.com The hotel looked terrible from the outside, and not much better from the inside. The whole building was completely run down and dilapidated, the room was scruffy with marks all over the walls. The door to the room had been damaged like the lock had been forced at some point. The room was advertised as deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it. We were so disappointed and felt completely cheated that the room charge was $23.17 - not worth the money AT ALL. We complained to the staff on reception that we felt the price was far too expensive but they just shrugged and said no it was a good price - DO BOT BOOK TO STAY HERE.
Good 6.0
Pros: Man behind the counter was very good. He always went the extra mile. Very close to the airport is handy
Cons: Lacks cleanliness. Perhaps, a complete redecoration would be even better.

Cons: Very hard mattress
Good 6.0
Pros: Location is Good as it is just opposite of airport gate. I am from Pokhara so it was very convenient to take domestic flight on next morning. I arrived in hotel at around 10:30 pm and still I can get the nepali thali set for dinner, which was quite impressive. I was not expecting food that late.
Cons: I was given the room in 5th floor which I did not like. I requested the room in lower floor, even the security guard help me to request in reception but they said cannot provide without any explanation. I would have understood if they were all occupied but they did not explain to me and gave me the room key. I found it little rude.
Okay 5.0

Excellent 10.0
Loved the staff's helpful nature, they were very approachable and helpful and explained what they had to offer during our stay. They helped us with our bags when were were checking out, even sent us off when we were leaving which added a warm touch to finish off our stay. The free breakfast was wonderful - lots of variety and options for extra servings. Very convenient being across the street from the airport. My flights out of Kathmandu are evening flights so it is a good location to depart from. Overall good experience. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
