Cons:Lost luggage in Helsinki on flight from Moscow to Helsinki to JFK. Food was not good or appetizing - small portions cold bread. Service was not overly friendly on flight to Russia - the way back was better. Finnair gave away seats with extra leg room our friends we were travelling with purchased and paid for in advance. They had boarding passes printed at home with the correct seats, but they were given away by Finnair just before the flight, allegedly because online questionnaire was filled out incorrectly - ridiculous. The supervisor at the gate threatened to not let them on the plane if they would not back down and initially would not process their refund - but finally did process the refund, allegedly. I am trying to get lost baggage returned to us before Memorial Day but I have been on hold for 15 minutes waiting to talk with someone and they came back to say they cannot help. We landed on 5/24 at 4pm and probably will not get bags until 5/30 due to weekend and Memorial day holiday. Plane was pretty old. Very bad experience. Would not fly with them again.
