Excellent 10.0
Pros: Superb location - short walking distance to town centre and Skyline. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is stylish and clean with everything you need.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast and location are great! Marika on the front desk was the perfect blend of friendly but not obtrusive.
Cons: Glass panel bathroom wall and general location of switches.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, well looked after, enjoyed 6 - 7 meeting other guests and staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very handy location, close to all the ski/snowboard shops/pick up locations. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very well appointed. Nice modern fit out that had a unique touch. Friendly staff and a very central location. Walked out for dinners with no need to drive anywhere. They host drinks and nibbles at around 5.30pm which was generous and got to meet other guests if in the mood for a chat. Good breakfasts provided with professional staff.
Cons: Our room didn’t have a view but did have a small patio.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous and canapés and drinks nightly was brilliant
Cons: Rooms close to the street were loud on weekends with people walking past
Good 7.9
Pros: Great staff, Lenny was a standout, very good location and nice extra touches.
Cons: It was a bit on the pricey side.
Excellent 9.6
Had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.
Excellent 9.6
Nice rooms and surroundings Great breakfast Will stay again
Excellent 8.4
Nicely furnished but the reception desk was smaller than expected and only one receptionist was there which meant that we had to wait for our check-in. The couple before us was asking the receptionist a lot of questions! Breakfast was excellent and was catered for us. And the afternoon wine and canapes were a really nice treat. The building looked quite small when we went there and I kind of wished I had chosen Novotel over this hotel due to the grandness of Novotel for my partner's milestone birthday.
Excellent 10.0
I had booked at the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel after a lot of thorough research but none of it prepared me for when we first walked into the lobby. Photos do not do it justice. It was quiet, beautiful, and equipped with the most amazing water, flavored with different fruits and spices every time we went down. The staff were kind, well mannered, and accommodating. We arrived much earlier than our check-in and had organized just to leave our bags before heading up the Skyline and going onto our lunch reservation at Amisfield. However, we were immediately informed that we'd been upgraded to the two bedroom tower suite due to a late cancellation and the team feeling that our initial room would be too small for three people. We were initially only meant to stay one night as all three of us had work on Monday morning, but the room upgrade made our trip. The staff were kind enough to offer us an extra night at the same rate as our original room, and after changing our flights and talking to our bosses, we decided to stay on. The tower suite had a beautiful view of the Skyline, which on our second day we spent several hours staring at with the ranch slider doors open, lazing around in our robes. The suite also had a pull out couch, which my friend swore was just as comfortable as the beds. On our second night we also partook in the complimentary hour, which we felt was such a nice way to ingratiate guests into the hotel. Staying here was a dream. The town is within a short walking distance, we rarely felt the need to order taxis except for when we were going further afield. The staff also had plenty of recommendations on what to see and eat, gave us little marked maps and everything. We weren't the most quiet of guests, celebrating my birthday and all, and the trip being such a whirlwind, but we all felt the hotel went out of its way to be kind and make us feel welcome. I am so grateful to everyone who was working on the weekend, you truly made it a memorable.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were awesome, very nice size room and yes great breakfast
Cons: That we had 2 find our own way to the motel, and then when leaving we had to pay for our taxi. 8min ride =$43
Excellent 10.0
Pros: What didn't we like!!! This place is as good as it looks in the images! The rooms are HUGE and the storage space is amazing! The bath and shower were sensational and every single staff member we met were so helpful and friendly! The location meant we were able to just walk everywhere and every activity we did had a free collection so we didn't need the hassle of renting a car. Honestly the best breakfasts in the most amazing location - all we can say is thank you!
Cons: Nothing - this place is amazing :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: What an amazing hotel. Our room was so incredibly well appointed. Even the mini bar was impressively well stocked. We had a balcony with a retractable rain awning. The room was cleverly set up so that one could sit in the bathtub and look out into the room and through to the balcony and beyond to the mountains. The location could hardly be more perfect, just a few steps away from the waterfront, and close to bars, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at their restaurant. All of the staff without exception were helpful, courteous and professional. I don't think I'll ever want to stay anywhere else in queenstown again.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Upon arrival had some issues with the in-house entertainment however the staff were quick to offer solutions and eventually we found a resolution we were happy with .
Excellent 10.0
This is our second time to stay here and will stay a 3rd time for sure. Well worth it
Excellent 10.0
We stayed here for anniversary celebration even in a short time. Exceptionally inviting staff around each corner making us feel warm and welcome. The room was fabulous, clean, modern, well outfitted and comfortable bed. Would certainly suggest this place as it's in prime area inside Queenstown and you get the feel important in their exclusive club. They're also more than helpful to assist you to book in to the finest restaurants in town and very accessible to explore the places nearby.
Excellent 10.0
The case of The Spire is typical of the ultra luxury hotel where they were more concerned with design and interior design than with functional details and impeccable service. From the outset, the owners are not hoteliers, so they do not know the trade and there are details that ruin the beauty of the place. Let me explain: * They have two inexperienced girls at the reception, who never answer the phone because they are never there. There is no bell boy, everything is done by the receptionists and the general manager, who is the only efficient one.v I checked in and they said they would upload my suitcase; Half an hour later I went down because no one answered me. I asked a waiter to come up to my room to put it in the trunk (I could not carry it). Every time I asked for something, they were late in bringing it, and that the rooms are close to each other and they are few. They only attend well at dawn, that there is nobody in the lobby, and that is when the manager is there. Its audiovisual system is very modern, it controls TV, radio and even ambient music, the problem is that it is very complicated to use and you know what? the receptionists do not know how to use it either.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location and accommodation, really quiet and private.
Cons: Had to get used to the stairs as had a sore back, we used the ramp walkway which was better.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location was ok
Cons: Needs a window to open. The new carpet smell was overpowering and we couldn’t leave a window open to air it
Good 7.0
Pros: It was clean and very quiet and peaceful.
Cons: The shower on our first day barely worked. The water was temperamental in heat and the sprinkler was barely sprinkling! However, upon telling the owners the following morning, it was fixed by the time we got back! Lots of stairs to carry your luggage to your apartment.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Amazing view. Great facilities – lovely and clean. Comfy beds and it was really nice, quiet and warm. Loved the warm welcome at reception, and being able to walk down to the lake shore was magical.
Cons: We shouted you a new coffee plunger (the one in the apartment was past its prime). The only other thing that was not so nice – was the smell from the main toilet. We thought that it might have been when the ensuite toilet was flushed, it went past pipes in the main toilet, so you smelt a horrible toilet odour that lingered for a while.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Stunning views, good location and really comfortable. I would highly recommend! The free parking was really handy. The check in and out process was super easy. The perfect combo of serviced apartment/ hotel stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bathrooms heated floor was fantastic. The ensuite shower was great. Beds were very comfortable. The gas fire was very nice. The views were beautiful. Very peaceful
Cons: The carpet was very worn.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The facilities and the view
Cons: Was a bit confusing to find our room late at night and the shower pressure was so low it was very difficult to wash my hair - the head is so close to the wall the bath tap sits between your calves just is you can get under it.
Excellent 10.0
Such a great place to stay, very warm and very comfy with a beautiful view :)
Excellent 10.0
This place was a holiday in itself, with changing mountain and lake views that were second to none. The accommodation is equally superb, very comfortable with gas fire and well equipped full kitchen facilities and laundry. Spotlessly clean and serviced daily. My only reservation would be to note that there were multiple flights of stairs to the accommodation and the need to climb these and carry cases up them would be for travellers with health challenges or disabilities.
Excellent 9.6
A lovely apartment, walking distance to town, fantastic views over the lake. Highly recommend.
Excellent 10.0
A fantastic hotel with lovely friendly staff, huge rooms, fireplace, washing machine, dryer... everything you could need and the views are to die for! Super close to town so you can walk along the lake, lots of places to swim. Ask for a room down the bottom if you’re okay with stairs and you’ll get the best view in the whole place. Will 100% stay here again! Was even better than the Hilton.
Good 7.2
I have stayed in a one-bedroom suite lake view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near to the town center 5 mins by car. Highly recommended 😀😀😀

Good 7.0
Pros: Location and comfortable lodgings.
Excellent 9.0

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast every day was great - brilliant choices. The location was perfect for easy access to the city centre.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is our second time staying staying here. The breakfast is a high light, which includes a mini-buffet of pastries, fruit, and cereals and also a good selection of cooked breakfast. All excellent! And the view while you eat breakfast is amazing as well. Paul and Samantha are friendly and welcoming hosts who are happy to make recommendations for food or activities. It's only a 5 minute walk to the center of Queenstown. The onsite parking is great if you have a car because there's not much parking in Queenstown.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great stay! Location is awesome, the room is spacious and comfortable, breakfast is very well served and delicious! Breathtaking view!!
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hulbert House is a beautifully restored period cottage. The interior design matches the period and there are many photographs from this time to illustrate the history of Queenstown. The location is convenient for the centre of Queenstown. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They recommended and made our restaurant reservations (excellent choices) on our behalf. The breakfasts were excellent. I'd rate Hubert House 11/10 (maths was never my strong point) and look forward to staying there again.
Cons: Faultless. We arrived particularly early expecting to leave our bags and return later. However, our room was ready, they'd spirited our bags into our room and made a morning tea with biscuits to welcome us.
Excellent 10.0

Clean and tidy. Good location. Value for money
Excellent 10.0
Quiet, large and very clean room with nice amenities. Lake and Queenstown hill view. Free parking and short walk to the CBD along the lake. Large TBV, Good wifi, large bathroom with spa.
Excellent 10.0
We had a large room which had panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Well equipped and comfortably clean room. Highly recommended location for convenience with a touch of peacefulness.
Excellent 8.5
The location is great, it is about 15 min walk to the main city center. They have parking which is very important, since you will be needed a place to park your rental and Queenstown is not very parking abundant. The owner of the lodge is friendly too, and will give you all the support you need for planning activities. You even get a bottle of milk when you check in. The best part however, is the view from the room. Lake Wakatipu is visible in all its glory. Their office hours are fixed and if you are coming in late or very early, then you may have to wait till the office opens. Other than that, it is perfect.

Poor 1.0
Cons: Everything
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The room was large. It has a bathtub which was what I was looking for. Free parking onsite
Cons: 1. The room wasnt very clean, I could still see crumbs on the carpet. The sheets didnt smell like they were cleaned recently. 2. Couldnt use the mini bar fridge as there were 2 very wet towels in there. Maybe the fridge was leaking? But staff shouldve have fixed it and cleaned the fridge up. 3. The pictures on booking.com looked very different to how the property looked. The property currently looks dated, outside area very overgrown and seems like no one looked after it. 4. Couldnt contact host easily. Despite putting on booking.com arrival time, no one was around.
Good 6.0
Pros: The property is quirky, the room and bathroom huge. The view is amazing. The common theme of the problems is that maintenance has got away on the owner and the property isn't getting the attention it needs.
Cons: I feel the marketing was misleading. I would call it 'faded glory' and price it accordingly. The garden is completely overgrown, almost negating the view which was the reason for me choosing the property. I did not see the owner. The phone numbers on Booking.com confirmation did not work. Neither did the wifi password. There were 4 remotes for the tv and no instructions, I couldn't get it to work. The cups and toilet were stained. The fridge was dripping and stuffed with wet towels. I fixed it. Access is up a very steep road, would be very difficult without a car.
Okay 5.0
Pros: This was a five star property. It had stunning views of the Lake, and the rooms (bedroom, TV lounge, ensuite) were all comfortable, the bed was also comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom wasn’t clean. There was long black hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned. When we arrived there was no hot water to have a shower. The bottom sheet on the bed was covered in rubbed up baubles. The TV didn’t work the two nights we were there. No one made any contact with us despite phone calls and texts to the contact person to ask for help and let them know about the problems we were having. We also phoned and left a message with the owner and got no reply or explanation. This is advertised as a five star property.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Excellent stay, would return
Good 7.0
Pros: Large room, good location, quiet
Cons: A bit run down, a microwave would have been nice, a way of securing the windows in the open position (safety stay) should be installed. Maybe a tray and rag for dishes. A step by step explanation on how to use the TV (4x remote controls but no labelling). Batteries in remote control was missing. All only small items but would improve the rental experience.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is amazing.
Cons: The location is a bit hard to find.
Excellent 8.4
only the wifi not stable.

Good 6.0
Cons: Very 1980s, expensive for location and given everything felt quite old
Good 7.0
Cons: I've never stayed in a motel or hotel without a TV. Was not aware there wouldn't be one.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Sherwood is all you need for an enjoyable stay in Queenstown - beautiful setting, great food, great style and kind staff. This is my 3rd time staying here and I will always continue to do so on visits to Queenstown. The bus to the city is very quick with frequent services. We worked remotely for a few days while at the Sherwood and the wifi quality was fantastic, with many places to relax and unwind.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Have come back time and time and again, I love this place!!!
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The welcome music in the adjoining room was on all night - disrupted our sleep a bit.
Good 7.0
Pros: communal areas are great if you’re with a group - courtyard, restaurant etc the bar service and food was excellent and the zero waste approach very cool
Cons: the rooms are tired and bathrooms very outdated. decor is fine enough but it’s all a bit budget - no wardrobe, robe, or full length mirror. our room faced the road and was very dark, and got cold. the aircon didn’t work and no heater.
Good 6.0
Pros: The property had a g great restaurant, the room was tidy and care was taken to recycle and generally avoid waste.
Cons: There were some very noisey people staying in the room next to ours, which woke us up at 2am. There was no hair dryer in the room (that I could find) and the labels on products in the shower too small to read. The heaters in the room didn’t seem to work either.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very comfortable bed, nice and clean kitchen. Internet radio in bedroom is a lovely touch. The common area is beautiful with different options to entertain.
Cons: The bathroom is not as nice as shown on photos, especially shower – with a metal tray and plastic curtain.
Excellent 9.6
Sherwood has an original feel to it, fun facilities and a cool atmosphere. The staff were super friendly. We hired bikes from Sherwood, which were affordable and in good condition, and rode along the lakeside track. We would definitely come back and stay.
Excellent 10.0
Every time I'm in Queenstown I stay at the Sherwood.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved the design of the rooms.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: comfy bed beautiful view and lovely breakfast that was free
Cons: N/A
Good 6.0
Pros: Location and food was good
Cons: We paid for a view but didn't get a view because the gardens and trees hadn't been kept tidy. Our bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly for a while in some places 😟
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The upgrade, the view the lovely breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff at check in. We received an upgrade of 2 double beds instead of singles and also a lake view unit. Also had a complimentary breakfast with our booking.
Cons: No complaints at all
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely and clean, wonderful views, great meals, peaceful, close to shops, great location ,great staff
Cons: Everything was great
Good 6.0
I booked the Holiday Inn for my partners 30th birthday. Chose this place for the reason that they have a full spa facility and is not located in town. Was extremely disappointed on arrival as the spa was closed due to level 2. I understand the hotel was following proper procedure but I was never informed the spa would be closed during level 2, in email on booking or even on the website before booking.
Excellent 10.0
Nice big room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok.
Excellent 10.0
I was upgraded to a lake view room , got a free breakfast free parking , I will come back again . Breakfast is buffet too
Excellent 10.0
Really tidy and clean and modern. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Great views great location would definitely recommend!
Excellent 8.8
The hotel price is considerably cheaper than other hotels or even motels and yet they offer a free continental breakfast which make the stay more enjoyable.
Excellent 10.0
Very clean, good rooms and good food.
Excellent 9.6
Comfotable room. Full breakfast included which was great.
Excellent 8.8
Nice rates, staff, room, cleanliness, quite, breakfast, view, parking.. very good!
Excellent 8.0
Service was really good, friendly and helpful staff. Booked the lake view room with two single bed, because we have a toddler travelling with us they prepared a queen bed with another single bed which is really thoughtful. Room is good size, tidy and clean. The only down side is the bathroom is a bit outdated and water volume is quite small. The breakfast is very average, same food every day (except thr soup) and only 6x choices of hot food available so a little bit average compared to other hotels.
Excellent 10.0
Liked their breakfast and location is lovely
Excellent 10.0
All of the staffs were very friendly and nice and the location is really good! The Bus stops were almost right in front of the hotel it’s only 3 mins away i guess (both directions). Very clean and quiet place :) love to visit again. Thanks!
Good 7.2
We are happy with our stay here. Easy to find. Although its 5-10 minutes drive to town proper.

Excellent 10.0
Cons: could not leave my luggage behind until come back and stay four days later
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room size was excellent. Room had everything you needed, including dishwasher, washing machine and drier. Location was great for what we needed. View was great to the Remarkables, we just dont like looking out to other building. I had been hoping we would be in a room facing the other way, but I did not specify that when I made the booking, so can't complain.
Cons: There was a strong smell of cleaning product or air freshener which was a bit overwhelming. Apart from that everything was great. The only other reminder to myself is to ask for certain requirements to see if they can be provided. We were travelling with an 86 year old, and I have walking disabilities so having a room closer to the lift would have been better. Again, I didnt ask, so cannot complain.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Parking was excellent. Over all an amazing place to stay. Apart from the construction work( not noisy or disturbing) beautiful views of the remarkables.
Cons: If I had to be really critical I didn't not like the 1ply toilet paper but just went and got my own no harm done just personal preference. Also the beds are on the harder side which I prefer but my partner does not .
Excellent 9.0
Pros: modern and clean
Excellent 9.0
Pros: great room with kitchenette, parking, close to shopping etc
Cons: nothing
Good 6.8

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Great site, room good
Cons: Food in the main restaurant was poor. Soggy frys, how can you get that wrong ? Meal was weird, roast chicken dumped in a pile of beans. Bed ended up rumpled and uncomfortable, had not been made properly was not tucked in at the base. Parking an extra charge, then when I parked the car & decided to use the stair well rather than the lift I was trapped in the stair well, could not open any of the doors to exit. Finally climbed 5 floors to the top level and found I could exit there. Pay for WIFI, come on get real even cheap hotels have free WIFI now !!! REally dissapointing for what is supposed to be a premier location.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautifully presented Beautiful views Great restaurant Friendly staff
Cons: Limited free parking
Excellent 8.0
Pros: View was stunning but sadly partially blocked by building to the left of it.
Cons: Nothing really
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was nice and quiet and felt clean, modern and comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake too
Cons: Pillows were a little lumpy
Excellent 9.6
Really enjoyed our stay here 10/10 Staff very professional and helpful
Excellent 10.0
Excellent facilities, $5 water taxi to Queenstown. Staff are great 👍 👌 👏 😀
Good 6.8
Great location but the hotel is tired and just past it’s best.
Good 6.8
I’ve stayed at the Hilton before and had a wonderful experience. Sadly not this time. There were very few staff on check in, and no assistance with luggage. Room was clean, but needed some maintenance. And no hot water in the morning due to a boiler issue. Breakfast is always good at the Hilton but that’s all we enjoyed about our stay this time sadly.
Good 6.4
For the money we paid for the relaxation room I didn’t think it was worth it. The spa was nice but people walking pass right in front of us could see us( no private). No hairdryer! And thought there would be goodies in the fridge!! But nothing!! Bathroom cabinets all scratched and close shut with screws u could see. Like I said it was not a lot for $700+ a night!!..
Good 6.8
The room we booked stated we had lounge access, Hilton has the lounge. Got to our room and the toilet was flushing and such and bad small, that was fixed very fast. Had a meal which had tiny bones in the lamb shank. Lastly the room was not serviced during our stay. For the Hilton brand the stay was very disappointing.
Excellent 10.0
Fantastic comfortable stay right on Lake Edge. 10-15min drive to town but away from all of the made rush
Good 7.2
The Wakatipu Grill offers great food, there's also a water taxi going to town just on the water front. The hot tub needs to be hotter tho, and some ladies at the desk needs to be friendlier. Bed and pilows are a bit too soft.
Excellent 10.0
Words can not describe amazing
Excellent 8.8
Check in was a bit congested . Otherwise fabulous .
Excellent 8.8
Good but they can do better at cleaning the rooms. Its a reputstion to Hilton. Overall we had a good experience.
Excellent 9.6
Queenstown is pretty small, but when it's high season - it's so large you can't find your own space to think! This is where the Hilton comes into its own; offering a sanctuary on a lesser known part of Queenstown with lake access, walking trails, and the benefit more sunshine packed days so you won't feel the cold as much. The Hilton has paid, on site parking (much cheaper than town at least!), An indoor pool, small gym (it will give you the very basics, but there is a Snap fitness just nearby), waterfront restaurant and beautifully dedicated staff. The rooms are clean, large and offer superior comfort beds (they always feel like you're sleeping on a pillow), a bathtub (perfect for a soak after mountain biking, hiking or skiiing), lounge area and all the mod cons. Would be good if the TV's had Netflix upgrades, but a great opportunity to dive into a good book. Also, the coffee at the cafe is great - and I'm a 'coffee snob' from Melbourne! Great stay, great rates - will stay again.
Excellent 9.2
Staff were nice and helpful. The relaxation room was as described, private spa outside with lake view. Room had a expresso machine which was great.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Transfers add up and airport two mile drive is $28 NZ
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room and quite location.
Cons: Parking.
Okay 4.2
Cons: So many things in the room were broken or dirty when I checked in, I had the front desk come look. They said maintenance would fix some of it, and that they would see if another room was available the next day. Neither happened.
Excellent 10.0
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. It was clean, spacious and our room was very nice. There was only one problem, our room key was constantly not working, we had tried many times but it still did not work. We went to reception and they were very friendly and did fix our room key. It worked a few times then failed again. We headed ack to reception again where they replaced the key and kindly offered a free room another time. The room key worked and we went back later on in the summer time. The staff was very nice to do this which we found amazing. Overall I loved the Hilton and would return, but the room key was annoying and shouldn't happen in such a flash hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The rooms are typically Hilton, nice and quiet with beautiful interiors. The staff were helpful and polite. The housecleaning did a great job every day as well.
Cons: The resort is a long way from town,So a hire car is Recommended. In saying that,it is closer to the ski fields and more relaxed.Theres a water taxi which helps if you wish to get to town.Taxis are over $50 one way to town. $5 coffee at breakfast is annoying.(the provided coffee is ordinary) Make sure you get a complimentary breakfast when booking. It is very expensive otherwise, especially for people who don't eat too much for breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location waterfront straight on the queenstown trails. Great rooms, beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom massive. Amazing service and yummy breakfast. Great facilities.
Cons: Smallest downside is most of rooms don't face the remarkables but Queenstown is scenic. Otherwise there is nothing I don't like about this place.
Okay 4.2
Pros: overall the hotel was nice, its a Hilton. it was spacious and there are things on site like restaurants and a cafe for you. the staff was great, management- not so much.
Cons: location was far from the center of queenstown... a $40 cab ride. you had to reserve the hotel shuttle (which filled up during popular times) or take a $10 water taxi. kind of inconvenient. lastly, we had to leave early due to a family emergency and the management refused the credit us or help in any way.
Good 7.4
Pros: Good bed & room but overlooked construction site as well as lake but view was limited. Friendly & efficient staff.
Cons: Decor too dark Wi fi not free in rooms A bit far out of town
Good 7.4
Pros: Location but ypu need a free shuttle or a $10 water taxi per person to get to town
Cons: The credit card fee.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Location is bit far from CBD, but views are great.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The comfortable bed.
Cons: The location, the signage is hard to see and not clear, the view could only be seen standing up, my room was dusty and dishes were dirty.
Good 7.0
Cons: The balcony was so tiny it was shared with the rooms air con unit.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: of course the location is nice
Cons: everything else was horrible
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location , high class hotel , easy access to going south , super comfy bed
Cons: lack of parking
Good 6.8
Overall very good however next time will pay the extra & stay at Hilton proper. They include extras for free such as free pool/sauna entry whereas Doubletree adds this to your final bill. Having stayed in both, the difference in standard and quality is worth the extra $
Excellent 10.0
We were upgraded to the Hilton & then were offered a room over looking the lake for an extra fee. It was worth every cent. Great spot away from the main town. Water taxi that takes you into town for $10 a person. Cannot wait to return.
Excellent 10.0
Perfect accomodation, so clean and comfortable beds.
Excellent 9.6
It’s walking distance to the airport about 20 minutes, I enjoyed the walk across the bridge on a fine day , took the water taxi to town as it’s far from Downtown for $5 each way . The twin beds were small for me but good for average sized humans
Excellent 9.2
Recommend for people who want quiet
Okay 4.4
We got "upgraded" to the Hilton across the road with no advance notice, and went from a hotel with a kitchenette to a standard hotel with only a kettle and mini fridge. Not impressed.
Excellent 8.8
To get Breakfast meant exiting the building & descending 5 flights of stairs. Entry to breakfast area was concealed. Thankfully it was dry, would be soaked if raining as all stairs were open to the weather.
Excellent 8.4
We booked Doubletree
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff was great. Location was very pretty.
Cons: Mattresses were terrible. No free wifi and very slow. Not much within walking distance.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Quality and price
Cons: Location ok but not in queenstown, strange interior layout
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel and view (on the lakeside) were beautiful. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and I loved how close it was to the airport!
Cons: Nothing.
Okay 4.5
Pros: View
Cons: Food poisoning at one of their best restaurants and I needed to stay another night after spend 8 nights their and they put me in the worst room. After spend 2k there.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Either on the website or on Kayak.com it stated that the hotel shuttle to the airport would be $13 nzd per person. When we got there they told us that they don't offer this service. We only had exactly $26 nzd left. This was our last day so there was no need to have New Zealand currency. I shared this with the hotel staff and to our pleasant surprise, she ordered us a cab to the airport that was $23 NZD fixed price. We were happy we were able to spend the last of our New Zealand currency and not have to waste it on something at the airport. I appreciate the hotel staff being attentive and making sure we were comfortable by all means.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit cramped. I actually hit my tooth on the towel bar as I was trying to sit on the toilet. Luckily I didn't chip my tooth but it did hurt.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent access to the lakefront.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The spacious apartment was great as our children are now young adults. Everyone loved having their own bathroom space too. Never got sick of the view and the apartment was very warm.
Cons: Just had a small issue with one bed but Lucy sorted it so quickly which was greatly appreciated.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: spacious and tidy as it looked in the photos
Cons: a few stairs to get up to the room but that wasn’t a biggie
Good 6.0
Pros: Clean and tidy.
Cons: No reception or staff onsite. Unable to locate rubbish bins. No iron in the room. Not enough towels.

Pros: Space
Cons: Road noise
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Modern, spacious, clean and tidy! Lovely place to stay!
Cons: Quite close to road
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding lake and mountain views through the huge windows. Very spacious apartment, including good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen, and it was great to have a washing machine. Hosts were very helpful when contacted by email. Plenty of easy parking. We would love to stay again. We had a lake-front 1st floor apartment with a big balcony - there were other units set back which wouldn't have had such good views, and maybe the ground floor units might be less private being right on the lakeside walking/biking trail. Very quiet, but not many people about so it's hard to tell how noisy it would be at other times. Comfortable beds and good linen. We used Uber to get to Queenstown for the nights we ate out, but the bus would go right past if you wanted to look up the timetable.
Cons: The bath over shower would be difficult for someone with limited mobility, or someone very little, to get into. But maybe there are other apartments with different configurations.
