Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests appreciated the beautiful location and stunning views, especially for activities like watching the Northern Lights. However, many reviews pointed out issues with service, cleanliness, and some amenities not meeting expectations, such as the sulfur smell and the quality of food in the restaurant. Overall, while the hotel has potential, improvements are needed in several areas to justify the price.

Pros (+) The hotel itself and rooms look like they were really nice when new and everything worked (as opposed to when we stayed there). The spa is nice.
Cons (-) Spa doesnt have much staff, hard to find towels. Restaurant way too salty (yet quite expensive), service seemed to not want to be there. Little things in the room didnt work, and one big thing, little heat in the room. Yet it was quite the premium price tag.

Pros (+) The hotel was amazing. Watching the Northern Lights dance from the windows in the bar was the highlight. Staff was extremely helpful.
Cons (-) They didn't tell us in advance that the kitchen was closed. They made up for it with a great buffet. It was quite the drive though during winter.
