There was no closet space. Bathroom lights poor. Also, I feel a complimentary breakfast would have been good.
Great Amentities and Values
I booked one night stay and added another night stay. The amenities and values are top notch (almost as good as Vegas). The values is only good if you booked online. If not, then the value proposition goes away. The bed and linens were luxurious and comfortable. They even offered two bottle waters and instant coffe/tea with an electric kettle. Nice! Be sure to check out the 4th floor (swimming pool and gym). The staff were very friendly. I hope management takes good care of their maids and pay them well. :). I will recommend to my friends if they ever want to visit Singapore.
No space to hang your cloths. All my belongings had to be on the floor.
Hard beds, small rooms
Location is great
Hard beds and small rooms
very small room, but it is ok. the zero soundproofing is the most unacceptable, you can here everything outside your room clearly.
Room is too small not like hotel
Noise sound proof
Expensive but not that comfy
It is equipped by the restaurant, the mart and the money changer.. near with mrt.. very good location
The food is not good
Wonderful for a solo trip
It's very accessible by both bus and train. There's a Michelin starred hawker stall not too far and it's within walking distance of more known places in Kampong Glam and Little India. The staff was helpful when I had an issue with my television two days in a row. They were quick to send someone up to resolve the issue. There's a food court and mini convenience store attached to the hotel that are open at all hours in case you get hungry.
The room was small. I had a 27" suitcase and there was very little space to keep it in the room. The mini fridge didn't seem to work despite toggling with the inner dial. The walls are thin so if anyone is being a tad loud in the hallway or next room over, it might be disturbing.
High rate for a tiny room. Clean but really nothin
Close to Lavender station Fast check-in/out
Huge hotel without any character Tiny, extremely basic rooms Outragously high rate for what you are getting
Great for one night only
I like that it was a budget hotel. The hotel was good but only would be good if you do not plan to be in the room other then just for sleep. The pool is nice but it closes early.
I knew the room size was small before getting the room but I was only in Singapore for one night between flights so I knew I would be put touring the city and only coming back to the room to sleep and get up early in the morning to goto the airport. If you are staying in Singapore for more then a quick night this hotel would be absolutely terrible because the room barely fits a bed in it so there is no space to walk just to lay on the bed. The pool closes early so after touring around the city I got back and only had 20 minutes before the pool closed which is terrible. The pool should be kept open until at least 10pm like most other hotels I have stayed at.
Located in Singapore (Kampong Glam), Hotel Boss is within a 10-minute walk of Sultan Mosque and Haji Lane. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
