Excellent 9.0
Pros: The accomodations and amenities were excellent. The hosts are delightful and very accommodatiing. I particularly liked they had cars to rent directly on the property and there was all types of flexibility how I could rent the car. I also liked the service that the owner would drive you to the Ferry if you rented the car more than 2 days.
Cons: Dogs barking at night. Was disappointed in the quality of the water in the lagoons, but that is definitely not the owners fault.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We felt completely at home and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and furnished rooms. The beach across the street was beautiful and the people we met there so friendly. Our hosts were also very accommodating and went out of their way for us. We would like to return in the future.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A nice and comfy bungalow, at a very calm location and near a nice beach. You will find everything you need inside to cook etc. There is also a small terrace surrounded by flowers with a lot of air. And, it's relatevily not an expensive stay which was nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great owners. Kayak available for paddling on the lagoon. Beach literally just across the road.
Cons: Some of the pots/pans in the kitchen could need replacement.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very welcoming owners. Good quiet location, but you need a car to move around. Small beach just across the street. You have your own small house with everything you need.
Cons: The bed was a bit too hard and pillows should be replaced as these where really old already.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hosts were very kind and friendly, and the room was perfect. It was across the road from the beach, so water access was very good. The mattress was very comfortable. The rental car was also very good.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This accommodation was great! Located steps away from a beautiful beach with amazing snorkeling. The bungalow is very clean and comfortable (it gets very hot and humid in Moorea, but that's not something that can be helped). The bungalow is in a garden, so there are a fair number of geckos scurrying around, but they're harmless and won't bother you (plus they eat mosquitos!). The bungalow's porch is perfect for eating breakfast on, too! Overall, this place was very easy to find, a good value, clean and conveniently located. Would highly recommend!
Cons: No complaints.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location: beach is 1 minute walk... Mini market is 1 minute walk too. Owners are the best. Good ppl.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely cabin, spacious and everything you need. Very friendly host which offers us free snorkling sets and canoe. The ‘private’ beach is close by, just cross the street. The corals are amazing! Even even the weather is not that sunny. Store next door with, very early, fresh Bread and lovely babanabread. Also many other foods.
Cons: We liked almost everything but after a few nights the bed was a bit too soft for us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Large, clean one bedroom with very good cooking facilities, beach across the street, private garden with deck for relaxing and eating your meals outside, and with a small grocery store next door.
Cons: Two small points: 1) soap was not provided in the bathroom, and 2) the water was not drinkable and while a bottle of water was provided upon our arrival, we stayed 5 nights and were expected to buy the rest of what we needed at the store.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: A very private and beautiful little beach, the sounds of the breakers way out on the reef, the birdsong, the flowering garden. Very friendly and accommodating host, although staff is not resident on the property. Easily accessible by email or text.
Cons: The beach recliner chairs could use replacing and the addition of cushions.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Impossibly beautiful Moorea. Poerani Moorea is a beautiful place to stay on the island. Eric the property manager was always available and helpful. The accomadations were clean and provided everything one might need. It was like staying at a glamping resort private with a beautiful beach and incredible ocean access.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very pretty grounds, nice amount of space in the cottage we were in, extremely friendly and responsive staff,
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great access to the water. Bikes and cañíes available for use. Nice little kitchen. Comfortable bed. Clean! Shop nearby! Good wifi!
Cons: Mosquitos were a problem. Although the bed had a net there were no screens for windows or door. Bathroom and bedroom layout a little odd although nicely decorated. Open shower in the second bedroom would make it difficult for anyone except a family with young children. It is very expensive for what it is, but a nice spot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Charming, romantic little bungalow, very cozy for one person in my case or would be perfect for two also. Extremely clean and the grounds are meticulously groomed. The whole property is lovely and has water access from a.pretty, grassy little beach. I didn't have a water view but it was only steps away if I wanted to sit by the water. Never missed it because I loved the privacy of my bungalow surrounded by a lush tropical garden.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! There was some road noise as my place was closest to the road but it didn't bother me in the least. With bedroom air conditioning on and windows closed you wouldn't notice it, but I preferred to sleep island-style with a fresh breeze blowing through.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We loved Poerani! Beautiful and convenient location, well fitted out bungalows on lush grounds with easy access to a great swimming spot, with sun loungers and free kayaks. Franck and Emeline could not have been better hosts. Emeline organised scooter hire and transfers for us and was so helpful and friendly. Maharepa is a short walk away and has great options for meals and a supermarket and bank.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Free use of bikes, kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Host was excellent and very helpful.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about Poerani Moorea was fantastic. We loved the grounds and especially the view. The apartment was very comfortable. It was fine for our family of four. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked well so it was comfortable to sleep.
Cons: More coffee would be nice

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The lodge was perfect; we never used the a/c, just the overhead fan, slept with windows open, with only the odd insect. We treated ourselves to a few delicious and generous breakfasts, taken on our veranda; best mornings I may ever have. Just to spoil ourselves further Elodie made a gorgeous three course meal and we ate on the big tables by the sea, listening to the fish splashing, watching the sunset, beautiful memories. Doreen and her helpful staff were always at hand if we needed advice or help, and suggested a few trips that we gladly took up. The resort is so peaceful; we used the free bikes to get our supplies, our pizzas or ride up to Pineapple beach. The Jetty is a feature, either for slow walks looking into the crystal waters at pretty fish, rays and those mesmerising sharks, or one of the best entry points for top snorkeling. We also used the kayaks. Loved this place to bits, it was clean and quiet and very beautiful. Elodie keeps a wonderful garden and harvests the fresh fruit for her meals, even left us a big papaya one morning. I miss the sound of the booming surf crashing in the distance.
Cons: Nothing could have been better, maybe the weather, it rained one morning 8-)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, stunning views over the water and up into the mountains. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Can not recommend highly enough!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a lovely, low key property with a welcoming staff and an ambiance that forces you to relax. If fancy resorts are not your thing, this is a well-priced alternative. We enjoyed breakfast on our front porch each morning, but you can also bring your own food if you prefer to do it yourself. Staff will arrange dinner reservations for you and most restaurants provide free transportation. The sharks come out at around 5pm and provide the early evening entertainment. Overall, a very relaxing and genuine welcome to French Polynesia!
Cons: Would love it beach towels had been provided because I don’t travel with one.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location great, quieter side of the island...Loved our bike rides to the small local market...Sitting on our front deck enjoying our view incomparable...Snorkeling with the sharks right off the dock/pier...Available kayaks...Wonderful, friendly staff, particularly Roland and Edmee, along with others...
Cons: Nothing to dislike...
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff! Clean grounds and bungalow , equipped with kitchenette. Free use of kayaks and bicycles. The snorkeling off the pier was a super bonus and even better than many other locations around the island!
Cons: A car is required to get to the banks or larger grocery stores. Fortunately we had planned for this and rented one before we checked in so had the freedom to access the entire island on our own. Store hours vary daily so you might find they are closed in the middle of the day. Research hours before departing, especially if on bicycle!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The whole place was very clean and tidy. The setting was exceptional and the staff were really friendly and always happy to help . Meals were good and we made use of the bikes and kyacks which were all free to use whenever we wanted.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Walking distance to restaurants & shops was nice. Air conditioner was terrific. Transportation to and from airport was wonderful, even though it had to be at unusual hours.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Super stay, comfy bungalow with ocean view 😁. Great breakfast on your own table by the bungalow. Great pier, you can go directly of the pier to go swim with sharks 😃 we swim with 3 kinds of sharks 😝 Superb stay, we love the place. We also had a great bike trip. The bikes is free. Thank you for the nice stay 😃

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was a beautiful bungalow that had sleeping space for 7 people. The kitchen was a full kitchen that had most of the basics and far more than we needed. The living room was big enough for our needs. The walls in many areas are made of lattice but had no security concerns as it was very private and safe. We ate our meals on the deck overlooking the water. The beach and views were outstanding! We met with the property manager daily and she was WONDERFUL!!! She brought us fruit from her garden one morning and a bouquet of fresh flowers for each of us when we departed. She was also quite helpful with recommendations as to what to see and where to go. We absolutely loved it here!
Cons: The only thing we did not love is the hallway to the bathroom was narrow which was only an issue for the one of us traveling that was in a wheelchair. This was no fault of the property, just a comment that may help others in this situation. If I could go back and do it over, I would still book the same place, we absolutely loved it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was terrific! Friendly, professional and helpful.
Cons: The bungalo could have more comfortable seating.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Very best place to relax and snorkel in lagoonarium, 80 m away from the property
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Air conditionning will add big value to The accomodationt
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Most beautiful location right by the beach, free kayaks and paddle boards, very friendly staff
Good 6.0
Pros: The service at the unit was excellent. The view was spectacular. The accommodation was good. The bonus of the tricycle to get to the supermarket was much appreciated. The swimming and snorkelling was great but you had to be careful of the tides. The kayaks were great.
Cons: The traffic noise was annoying at times. Too many barking dogs in the area.
Good 7.1
Pros: Being away from the main stream hotels and being able to cater for ourselves. The ability to take a kayak out into the lagoon.
Cons: The very tight and winding stairs to the bedroom and the fact that the bathroom was down stairs. We were in the 2 bed property which backed on to the main road which is used day and night, Without any ability to shut windows (there were none) the noise tended to wake you. The other properties which were bungalows crowed out the view and access to the beach. One actually looked directly into where we were staying offering no privacy.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Beach house on private beach.
Cons: You must rent a car.You can't get food without one. Nowhere to walk. Horribly hot even though it's spring.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything we need.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beach , breakfast.Awesome
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel
Cons: They dont provide water in the room and they are not flexible some staff members are rude
Poor 1.0
Pros: Awful property. The worst money spent in a hotel.
Cons: Super dirty, full of ants, broken tv, super expensive!!!! Wi-Fi was horrible. Restaurant was closed for most of the day and you had to leave the resort in order to go find food. Breakfast closed at 8:30am??? Who on vaccation has to wake up that early? Otherwise, next Time food is available is at 12:30pm. STUPID
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great beach access with tropical fish, sea turtles, sting rays, and shark sightings. Superb snorkeling and pool area with very friendly staff. Our beachfront bungalow was above expectations.
Cons: Need more variety in the kitchen menu and the cocktails are very expensive (though this is similar to other areas of Moorea). Only ate at the resort a few times as a result of the exorbitant prices.
Poor 1.0
Pros: We arrived late and booked their “last available” cheapest room, which was $475, and when they showed us the room, the value of it to us was $50/night - it was a standard hotel room with no room and a tiny bathroom... They did not allow us to cancel or refund and offered us an upgrade (after they told us they had nothing else available) but it was still not worth the price AT ALL.
Cons: No refund, inaccurate photos of rooms, horrible pricing
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Spacious rooms, nice pool
Cons: Can't believe I spent almost 400$ a night on such a place. The rooms were very run down and out dated. Not to mention when I booked the room the lady at the front "could not guarantee" there would not be bugs in the room, and if I book it’s non refundable and that I should know that. How reassuring is that?? There were stray cats and dogs walking around while we were having dinner!!!! The food is over priced and not very good, the staff doesn't seem like they care and they have bad attitudes. I was extremely disappointed in this place. If you get a kind bed it’s two smaller beds pushed together and the middle is very uncomfortable. There is very small area of beach. The spa was outdated and I paid a lot for a bad-average massage. I will not come back. You can find somewhere much better for the same price
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location and the size of the bungelows. Being faced so my balcony views was a mountain back drop! So beautiful
Cons: Wifi didnt work that well
Okay 5.0
Pros: Nice pool. Nice that all the recreational equipment is free snorkle, canoe, paddle boards. Location is good near a small town with grocery store, banks, restaurant car rental tours and some shopping.
Cons: I was stunned that an employee was visibly sick, left work sick and then returned sick to work the next day. I informed staff of this and they laughed, they thought it was funny. With the current pandemic this is unacceptable, he put peoples lives in danger. I did not have the heart to tell the 2 young girls whose coconut he cut for them that more than like he had infected the. Inexcusable. Spent the next day in our room until we departed. Breakfast was awful and way over priced and wecwrrent fussy about the meals at the restaurant there either. Beach wasn't the greatest.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice hotel with good facilities.
Cons: Hotel feels old and could use some maintenance and an update.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Manava was low key and beautiful, perfect for our honeymoon. The overwater bungalow was amazing. Beautiful views, friendly staff, very well kept and clean property. Loved the pool and kayaks/paddleboards for guests to use. 10 Minute walk to nearby restaurants and shops, although these are overall limited on the island. Only wish the food at the resort restaurant was better and more reasonably priced. Staff was helpful in booking dinner reservations and excursions. Would recommend rudys restaurant, carmelines for breakfast, the atv tour and beginners scuba dive. Overall wonderful resort and would highly recommend!
Cons: Restaurant was overpriced, buffet was not great

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Mark’s an excellent host, very friendly, thoughtful and shares excellent local knowledge through his hand drawn treasure map with all highlights and hidden gems of the island Houses are clearly designed and build by someone who cares. High quality build, very comfortable beds, and very authentic atmosphere fitting to the Polynesian experience. Location is at the better side of the island. More natural surroundings, beautiful views from the tremendous garden, super safe neighbourhood, couple of supermarkets and food trucks (roulottes) nearby. With a car, great place from which to fall in love with all the sights this piece of paradise has to offer. Definitely recommend staying at Mark’s!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: unique stay alongside with nature :)
Poor 1.0
Pros: Beautiful garden with beautiful bungalow
Cons: We were verbally assaulted and physically threaten. Upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that the bungalow I had booked for my friend and I , was occupied, and that the only option left was a studio but that I would probably not like it. We decided to have a look and as she predicted we did not like it. Poor standard, sketchy apartment No mosquito screen, infested of mosquito Extremely hot, the ceiling was very low and one bed was right underneath Not very clean, very old and dirty appliance I told her that I was not satisfied at all and wanted to speak to the owner. She called him and handed me the phone. The owner started right off the bat to be rude and very unpleasant, and was not understanding my disappointment. I explained to him calmly that I booked a bungalow with a certain standard and that the studio was far from being that. The owner insisted that really it was no big deal and that I was getting a better one (bigger place) and then he started to criticize and insult french people and told me that I should go back to France I told him that I did not understand why he was saying all this and he replied I don't understand why you're not happy so I told him the place sucks, and then the owner completely lost it, he insulted me and said that he will beat me badly. When he arrived, he almost hit me, verbally attacked us with racist and homophobic insults and then again physically threaten us and asked us to leave. After 45 MIN I managed to calm him down and decided to stay (no other option around and very late) . The day after he passed by and did not even say hello nor apologize. Very unpleasant experience and unfortunately this is not the first time someone reports physical threat and verbal aggression.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: The facility was nice.
Cons: The place was just stunning. In its location but after witnessing Mark the owner commit a horrible act of animal cruelty I would never recommend anyome to got there.. He is fake and not nice to animals.. I saw him hit his dogs. And then saw him throw a tinny kitten.. Alive, into the forest in the poring rain to die.i was so disgusted I could a lost my mind.. If you like animals, do not go to this place. 😔
Good 6.7
Pros: -Every single bungalow is made by Mark and they are all original and nice. -Mark is very helpful and will give you a lot of information about places of interest if you ask. -The garden is fantastic and each bungalow has a small table outside. - Mark and his son have good snorkeling masks to rent. -The bungalows has a fully equipped kitchen and a good shower. -It's easy to find and you have discounts for the ferry and car rental.
Cons: For the price that you pay, and Moorea is expensive compared to other parts of the world, the bungalows are nice, nothing bad. It's not super new but everything is cosy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: marks place is a paradise of a special kind in the midst of fantastic nature. Mark, a very helpful, kind and obliging friendly American, fulfills all wishes. He books the tours, makes recommendations and arranges everything. You can clearly feel that he wants to give the guests an unforgettable holiday. every house on the property looks different and all are wonderful. mark has lovingly translated every last detail. There is electricity, light, terraces, windows and so on in every corner. Mark built everything himself with much love. I have traveled a lot, but marks place is one of the nicest places to stay as the whole package of accommodation, nice people, beautiful nature is absolutely fantastic. I would like to mention that everything is absolutely clean, which I have not experienced anywhere on the island. I recommend marks place more than 100%
Cons: Really nothing
Good 7.1
Pros: A very nice sleeping bungalow.
Cons: We didn't like the bathroom in our bungalow being seperate from the sleeping bungalow.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very cozy, comfortable and spacious lodge in a natural and very nice landscape. The cabins were all made of wood with a very original design. It is worth a try!!!!! Mark and the staff were very attentive to us. You can hire bikes and kayaks
Cons: 20 minutes by bike from the nearest beach. In the nearby market there were very few goods. To get some best market you have to ride 20 minutes by bike. (and the road it is not well illuminated)
Good 7.1
Pros: The staff were incredible friendly, kind and helpful! They went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. Having free use of the bikes gave us some freedom to travel around. The grounds were very peaceful.
Cons: The mosquito nets on the windows had holes in them.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mark is so hospitable, warm and accommodating. He personally picked me up from the last ferry from Tahiti and then took me to a grocery store to buy groceries and food. He's passionate about ensuring his guests are fully taken care of and have the best experience. The houses are very well kept up, and they are so cheap given what you get. Bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and the villa has a living room with an indoor/outdoor area. Bugs were not a problem (I visited in winter) but they were when I was in Tahiti. I surfed Teahupoo before coming to Mark's Place. However, Hapiti is a GREAT wave to surf. You take one of Mark's canoe's out and tie it up to a buoy and you have a perfect left with friendly locals and a deeper reef. It's a left that can barrel when it get's big. I met so many awesome travelers at Marks place. I traveled alone but would be awesome to go back with a significant other. Expect a calm relaxing getaway with great people and great hospitality. Thanks Mark!!!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Cozy, quaint, very friendly staff. Nice breakfast and well appointed rooms
Cons: We had an older bungalow with no hot water (Luke warm) and a barely functioning AC unit. Our friends has a newer unit which had plenty of hot water and an AC
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved everything! The staff was terrific, the place itself was exquisite, the ocean and lagoons were wonderful and the water was superb! The restaurant food and sunsets were amazing.
Cons: Nothing..........
Good 7.5
Pros: Really lovely little hotel on a paradise island.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The ocean view was spectacular.
Cons: It’s kind of far from the center.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location right at the beach and near some shops & restaurant was perfect. My room was clean and nice, air conditioned and had a beautiful view. Service was friendly. The restaurant was located in the waterfront and the food there was good.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful place
Cons: None
Excellent 9.2
Pros: I was able to have a late checkout and the staff graciously helped me coordinate a taxi and a fun lagoon tour.
Cons: The location is a bit remote from the ferry and the airport and transport on this island seems hit or miss. Not really a reflection on this lovely property.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Great location
Cons: Bungalow without AC was tough for us!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff was great! Very friendly, helpful and professional! Great experience here.
Cons: The Wi-Fi did cut in and out a lot which was a bit frustrating. The bedding could be updated but realizing COVID has taken its toll on the travel industry I wouldn’t hold this against them.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very quaint and personal. Very few people there. Had great view on bay and pier over the water
Cons: Some updates in rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great view. Very helpful staff. Many water-based activities will pick you up at the hotel pier.
Cons: Not a thing. It was great.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Most of the staff were friendly enough, and the room itself was adequately sized and furnished. The WiFi, when it was working, was fast.
Cons: My stay here was disappointing on many levels. My reservation through Booking included "free breakfast," though apparently their free "breakfast" is just a few baguette slices with a cup of juice and coffee. My first day they offered me the "American breakfast," which I didn't know was not the free one included in my reservation, and I didn't find out until the next day that it cost $22 and they charged me for it. I unfortunately continued my stay here a few days beyond my Booking reservation with a group (under a separate reservation that did not include free breakfast), and I found out at the very end of my stay that they were charging me 320 CPF for coffee every day! Drip coffee! $3 per small cup of not very good coffee! The worst is that they didn't even tell me that it wasn't free, what hotel doesn't offer free coffee?! They nickel and dime you for everything here, usually without even telling you until you get your final bill. My first night I arrived on the last ferry of the day (after 6pm) so all the markets were already closed, and they told me they could give me a bottle of water for the night. I thought that was nice until I found out they charged me $5 for that bottle of water when I got my bill. I'm also not sure why there was only ever one person working both reception and the restaurant -- I waited 10-15 minutes daily at the empty bar during regular breakfast hours just for the one person working to finally acknowledge that I was there. My room was also in a terrible location, right next to the restaurant/reception and perhaps the gardeners' shed on the other side? There was constant noise and people around my room, so I had no view and next to no privacy. I would not stay here again, very disappointed in the way they do business and how they treat their customers. I wish I had paid more to stay elsewhere.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very nice view from bar/restaurant and useful dock to dive outside the small reef. Lovely staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing and helpful at all hours of the day, incredibly accommodating and caring. They have a tiny private beach that made my vacation getting to float in the beautiful warm ocean any time a day. I highly recommend this place and when I come back to Moorea I'm definitely staying here again!
Cons: I liked everything. FYI you definitely need to rent a car or scooter to get around the island.
Good 6.0
Pros: It’s a very relaxing place to stay. We extended by one night. Beautiful views of Cooks Bay. The beachfront bungalow was lovely and very comfortable.
Cons: I had my shoes stolen from outside the bungalow so don’t leave them outside. This happened on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately I could go and let the staff know as the whole reception was closed from about 6pm. I’m sure they would have been helpful if they had been there. The staff were super friendly and helpful when we checked in and out. We got called to work unexpectedly on the Monday and we were able to checkout at 6.30am just as the other reviews say you can’t :)

Good 7.0
Pros: We had a bungalow with ocean view with close by peer and sun deck, just fabulous. Enjoyed outside patio immensely. Remainder of the property was well maintained with a very nice garden. Cute interior, comfortable bed with mosquito netting. Fan was available, but the temperatures were very agreeable anyways. Everything was adequate, but it is not a luxurious accommodation. Canoes were available for free use. Close by corral reefs and the Hilton with the over water bungalows in the distance made for a nice canoe ride.
Cons: It would have been nice to have an electronic kettle plus 2 cups available to make a cup of tea or coffee once in a while. The canoes were not in perfect condition, some taking on water in the hull, but it wasn't a major problem.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is amazing, the pension is located directly at the water and has a peer to get in the lagoon comfortable. We took the Bungalow with Sea-view and it was truly amazing! The water was just infront of us and you were able to see it from the bed. Super spacious, clean Bungalow decorated with a lot of Bamboo. Price/value ratio is amazing! The location of the pension is pretty great too, shops and restaurants about 5mins away with scooter or car, the public beach which is beautiful also about 5mins away with scooter. We highly recommend to rent a scooter or car, as its just more convenient and cheap than taxi.
Cons: Nothing, Motu Iti exceeded our expectations and we had a great time in Moorea.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Room very noisy. You can hear the cars in road all night. Walls of the room ( wood) make noise too. Besides... the owners make noises and is difficult to sleep. By the other side they charged me 4-5 extra euros for paying with credit card. The price arranged in booking was 20 euros not almost 25 that the woman ensured me I had to pay. Shared bathroom dirty...I dont recomend the place at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful and friendly staff Will be back. Perfect bungalow and the view and sunsets amazing!! Stan R.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was really peaceful and the view was really great.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I have lived at this hostel for 5 weeks. Here's what I love... 1. You can go kayaking for free. (Please watch out for the coral reefs) 2. You can snorkel outside your door. 3. The beds are quite comfortable and the room is comfortable (at night). 4. I think the staff are wonderful. (They don't really bend the rules much though) 5. The restaurant has delicious food (Some items not always available) 6. Free breakfast included...bread and jam, fruits, avocados, juice and coffee, tea or chocolate. 7. The price is the best on the island. It's the same as Camping Nelson but here we have breakfast and a roof in case of the rain (deluge) and shelter from the heat. 8. There are also cute bungalows available. 9. It's a beautiful place! 10. You can catch a bus right in front of the hostel. 11. Free Wifi. I liked my little semi private section of my dorm room. I liked hanging out on the bungalow over the water. Basically, it's been a great place to live for awhile and I will miss it a lot. Moorea is a stunningly beautiful island! I hope you enjoy your stay!
Cons: I would have liked to have a kitchen to cook but all works out.
Good 7.9
Pros: staff were super helpful, beautiful location free breakfast and free kayaks, food in restaurants as great
Cons: No facilities to cook, bathrooms a little rundown
Good 6.3
Pros: Bungalow at waterfront is nice. Comfortable bed and patio with semi-comfortable chairs. Fridge and ventilator in room. The food at the restaurant (3x dinner) was very decent, especially the seafood, and served with a smile. There is a small pier and picnic table to jump into the water, a sandy patch between corals, so possible to swim
Cons: The reception and interaction with reception personnel was ok, but certainly not overly friendly, interested or welcoming. The “reception” area has rather strange opening hours. When we arrived around 17 PM, we had to enter via a unmarked gate. The main entrance was closed with shutters. At 8 PM the common areas shut down, putting it in pitch-black. There’s also no background music to make eating at the restaurant a bit more lively while eating.

Good 6.8
Pros: Unbeatable location, good value restaurant.
Cons: Roosters and chooks, I even saw staff feeding them despite requests for guests not to feed them. They kept us up quite a few nights. They don't just crow at sunrise, it's all night. Ok for staff, I guess they go home!
