Excellent 9.0
Pros: The lovely husband and wife management team provided exceptional, responsive, and sincere results to any and all arrangements we needed to make our stay effortless. Beautiful grounds, nice bicycles, kayaks and long well constructed sunset and snorkeling pier in a peaceful laid back part of the island. Wonderful continental breakfast served outside our door on our covered deck. The highlight of our multi island vacation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic place to stay in holidays. The Host was very very kind to help us in trouble. We enjoyed enough time kayaking ,snorkeling and watching the sea there. We will miss there.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Attentive owners David and Vanessa create a welcoming environment and will do anything for their guests. Beautiful well-kept grounds. Great dock to snorkel off with reef with colorful fish and black-tip sharks. Rooms are rustic but have what you need and are kept clean by a great staff. Good wifi. Groceries and restaurants nearby. Car is advisable however. Bikes, kayaks and snorkeling gear free to use.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I truly appreciated our hosts’ exceptional hospitality! From making us feel completely at home to offering wonderful recommendations for restaurants and excursions, we could not have been more pleased. The staff were wonderful. The scale of Linareva was wonderfully private and the feeling tranquil and idyllic. The grounds are lovely with a beautiful mountain backdrop and gorgeous lagoon and reef in front.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Our hosts were wonderful, most generous and kind. They did everything to make us comfortable and organise our vacation, including excursions, car rentals, meals and drop offs. My friend had to go back to work and I stayed on by myself for an extra week. I was made to feel very welcome.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was excellent, far away from all the tourist area yet full of life. The hostess at the resort was more than accommodating, even with their limited English they always made sure we had everything we needed. We actually got to meet the owners with their family and they made us feel as part of the family. If you want to stay at a true vacation place full of serenity and relaxation, then this is your place. The beach and snorkeling was excellent, we got visited by a nurse shark the first night, followed by stingrays and black tip sharks. This was an amazing honeymoon. Thank you Linareva for making this so memorable and we will see you soon.
Cons: We didn't like that we didn't have more time!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We ordered an excellent breakfast the 1st morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the ocean and nice pier. Excellent snorkeling off the pier.
Cons: Since the resort does not have potable water, I wished they had provided bottles of water for free, not just the first one.
Good 7.0
Cons: This place could use some new furnishings and a new bed and pillows. Some of the furniture is very old and there are holes in some of the tablecloths and it just needs some new items. Beautiful pier.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice location and very comfortable little Ohana. Being from Hawaii we were very at home in the setting.
Cons: The staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. This was our first negative experience in FP. The cat was delightful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Located in a quiet and safe area. The bungalows are close to a private and clean lagoon. Eric made us feel very comfortable from the start. Je is very nice and very human. he does not live on the property but can be reached at any time, we will never forget our stay at this beautiful property. If you love nature, you are served: a nearby cat named Henri and a rooster waking you up around 6:50am. It was unforgettable. We will come back!!! We highly recommend this Hotel!!!
Cons: The only downside mosquitoes. Close the doors to avoid them
Excellent 9.2
Pros: A very private and beautiful little beach, the sounds of the breakers way out on the reef, the birdsong, the flowering garden. Very friendly and accommodating host, although staff is not resident on the property. Easily accessible by email or text.
Cons: The beach recliner chairs could use replacing and the addition of cushions.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Impossibly beautiful Moorea. Poerani Moorea is a beautiful place to stay on the island. Eric the property manager was always available and helpful. The accomadations were clean and provided everything one might need. It was like staying at a glamping resort private with a beautiful beach and incredible ocean access.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very pretty grounds, nice amount of space in the cottage we were in, extremely friendly and responsive staff,
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great access to the water. Bikes and cañíes available for use. Nice little kitchen. Comfortable bed. Clean! Shop nearby! Good wifi!
Cons: Mosquitos were a problem. Although the bed had a net there were no screens for windows or door. Bathroom and bedroom layout a little odd although nicely decorated. Open shower in the second bedroom would make it difficult for anyone except a family with young children. It is very expensive for what it is, but a nice spot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Charming, romantic little bungalow, very cozy for one person in my case or would be perfect for two also. Extremely clean and the grounds are meticulously groomed. The whole property is lovely and has water access from a.pretty, grassy little beach. I didn't have a water view but it was only steps away if I wanted to sit by the water. Never missed it because I loved the privacy of my bungalow surrounded by a lush tropical garden.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! There was some road noise as my place was closest to the road but it didn't bother me in the least. With bedroom air conditioning on and windows closed you wouldn't notice it, but I preferred to sleep island-style with a fresh breeze blowing through.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We loved Poerani! Beautiful and convenient location, well fitted out bungalows on lush grounds with easy access to a great swimming spot, with sun loungers and free kayaks. Franck and Emeline could not have been better hosts. Emeline organised scooter hire and transfers for us and was so helpful and friendly. Maharepa is a short walk away and has great options for meals and a supermarket and bank.
Cons: Nothing!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: amazing location and very nice lodge.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved our own little bungalow, the essentially private beach outside was beautiful. We would take kayaks out and even saw a pod of dolphins swim by one day.
Cons: I think the bed and bedding could use an upgrade. Bed wasn't every comfortable.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The beach was quite attractive.
Cons: There was no air conditioning. The bedroom Was situated by the street. The noise of traffic was constant and we were unable to Sleep. We left as we could not suffer through a second night and lost money as we had to find alternative lodging. We advised staff who told the owner. We were not refunded for the second night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was a beautiful bungalow that had sleeping space for 7 people. The kitchen was a full kitchen that had most of the basics and far more than we needed. The living room was big enough for our needs. The walls in many areas are made of lattice but had no security concerns as it was very private and safe. We ate our meals on the deck overlooking the water. The beach and views were outstanding! We met with the property manager daily and she was WONDERFUL!!! She brought us fruit from her garden one morning and a bouquet of fresh flowers for each of us when we departed. She was also quite helpful with recommendations as to what to see and where to go. We absolutely loved it here!
Cons: The only thing we did not love is the hallway to the bathroom was narrow which was only an issue for the one of us traveling that was in a wheelchair. This was no fault of the property, just a comment that may help others in this situation. If I could go back and do it over, I would still book the same place, we absolutely loved it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was terrific! Friendly, professional and helpful.
Cons: The bungalo could have more comfortable seating.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Very best place to relax and snorkel in lagoonarium, 80 m away from the property
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Air conditionning will add big value to The accomodationt
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Most beautiful location right by the beach, free kayaks and paddle boards, very friendly staff
Good 6.0
Pros: The service at the unit was excellent. The view was spectacular. The accommodation was good. The bonus of the tricycle to get to the supermarket was much appreciated. The swimming and snorkelling was great but you had to be careful of the tides. The kayaks were great.
Cons: The traffic noise was annoying at times. Too many barking dogs in the area.
Excellent 9.6
Full kitchen with more than basics so you cook for yourself and make real coffee. Need to drive for amenities. Close to the ferry to get back to Tahiti Island airport. Very kind staff!

Good 6.0
Pros: The pool
Cons: The sea was very shallow and lots seaweed. The property was quite rundown especially the woodwork. The furniture in the bungalow was very dated. The food was very average so we ate out mostly.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Very good breakfast except same breakfast everyday.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: beautiful location, gorgeous pool, lovely staff
Cons: room wasn't ready until 3pm
Good 7.0
Pros: Concierge was extremely helpful in booking excursions. Very convenient to the main town center for shopping and restaurants. Over the water bungalow was quite nice. Pool was clean in garden bungalow.
Cons: Breakfast was good but lunches/dinner in the restaurant were mediocre. Food not flavorful and meats were tough. We switched rooms within the resort mid-stay and they showed no flexibility in check-out/check-in times.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: walking distance to restaurants and market, paddle boards and kayaks for free to use, activities center to book excursions
Cons: no transportation from ferry/airport
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Concierge desk often had no people during its scheduled time. Staff gave different answers to questions related to internet and pool / activity times
Excellent 9.0
Pros: very relaxing atmosphere
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Location perfect.
Cons: TV programming and reception. TV partially obscured by burned out screen. Cost of anything at property.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice hotel with good facilities.
Cons: Hotel feels old and could use some maintenance and an update.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Manava was low key and beautiful, perfect for our honeymoon. The overwater bungalow was amazing. Beautiful views, friendly staff, very well kept and clean property. Loved the pool and kayaks/paddleboards for guests to use. 10 Minute walk to nearby restaurants and shops, although these are overall limited on the island. Only wish the food at the resort restaurant was better and more reasonably priced. Staff was helpful in booking dinner reservations and excursions. Would recommend rudys restaurant, carmelines for breakfast, the atv tour and beginners scuba dive. Overall wonderful resort and would highly recommend!
Cons: Restaurant was overpriced, buffet was not great

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Mark’s an excellent host, very friendly, thoughtful and shares excellent local knowledge through his hand drawn treasure map with all highlights and hidden gems of the island Houses are clearly designed and build by someone who cares. High quality build, very comfortable beds, and very authentic atmosphere fitting to the Polynesian experience. Location is at the better side of the island. More natural surroundings, beautiful views from the tremendous garden, super safe neighbourhood, couple of supermarkets and food trucks (roulottes) nearby. With a car, great place from which to fall in love with all the sights this piece of paradise has to offer. Definitely recommend staying at Mark’s!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: unique stay alongside with nature :)
Poor 1.0
Pros: Beautiful garden with beautiful bungalow
Cons: We were verbally assaulted and physically threaten. Upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that the bungalow I had booked for my friend and I , was occupied, and that the only option left was a studio but that I would probably not like it. We decided to have a look and as she predicted we did not like it. Poor standard, sketchy apartment No mosquito screen, infested of mosquito Extremely hot, the ceiling was very low and one bed was right underneath Not very clean, very old and dirty appliance I told her that I was not satisfied at all and wanted to speak to the owner. She called him and handed me the phone. The owner started right off the bat to be rude and very unpleasant, and was not understanding my disappointment. I explained to him calmly that I booked a bungalow with a certain standard and that the studio was far from being that. The owner insisted that really it was no big deal and that I was getting a better one (bigger place) and then he started to criticize and insult french people and told me that I should go back to France I told him that I did not understand why he was saying all this and he replied I don't understand why you're not happy so I told him the place sucks, and then the owner completely lost it, he insulted me and said that he will beat me badly. When he arrived, he almost hit me, verbally attacked us with racist and homophobic insults and then again physically threaten us and asked us to leave. After 45 MIN I managed to calm him down and decided to stay (no other option around and very late) . The day after he passed by and did not even say hello nor apologize. Very unpleasant experience and unfortunately this is not the first time someone reports physical threat and verbal aggression.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: The facility was nice.
Cons: The place was just stunning. In its location but after witnessing Mark the owner commit a horrible act of animal cruelty I would never recommend anyome to got there.. He is fake and not nice to animals.. I saw him hit his dogs. And then saw him throw a tinny kitten.. Alive, into the forest in the poring rain to die.i was so disgusted I could a lost my mind.. If you like animals, do not go to this place. 😔
Good 6.7
Pros: -Every single bungalow is made by Mark and they are all original and nice. -Mark is very helpful and will give you a lot of information about places of interest if you ask. -The garden is fantastic and each bungalow has a small table outside. - Mark and his son have good snorkeling masks to rent. -The bungalows has a fully equipped kitchen and a good shower. -It's easy to find and you have discounts for the ferry and car rental.
Cons: For the price that you pay, and Moorea is expensive compared to other parts of the world, the bungalows are nice, nothing bad. It's not super new but everything is cosy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: marks place is a paradise of a special kind in the midst of fantastic nature. Mark, a very helpful, kind and obliging friendly American, fulfills all wishes. He books the tours, makes recommendations and arranges everything. You can clearly feel that he wants to give the guests an unforgettable holiday. every house on the property looks different and all are wonderful. mark has lovingly translated every last detail. There is electricity, light, terraces, windows and so on in every corner. Mark built everything himself with much love. I have traveled a lot, but marks place is one of the nicest places to stay as the whole package of accommodation, nice people, beautiful nature is absolutely fantastic. I would like to mention that everything is absolutely clean, which I have not experienced anywhere on the island. I recommend marks place more than 100%
Cons: Really nothing
Good 7.1
Pros: A very nice sleeping bungalow.
Cons: We didn't like the bathroom in our bungalow being seperate from the sleeping bungalow.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very cozy, comfortable and spacious lodge in a natural and very nice landscape. The cabins were all made of wood with a very original design. It is worth a try!!!!! Mark and the staff were very attentive to us. You can hire bikes and kayaks
Cons: 20 minutes by bike from the nearest beach. In the nearby market there were very few goods. To get some best market you have to ride 20 minutes by bike. (and the road it is not well illuminated)
Excellent 10.0
marksplacemoorea is the nicest pension on the island of moorea come see for your self they have everything you're looking for 3 stars bikes cars scooters kayaks and one 50 acctiites than are free to do the room service it by far the nicest on the beautiful island of moorea a perfect place for family with kids a beautiful garden with lots of toys for kids come to moorea and enjoy marks paradise ...... surf paddle board kite surf its all here folks come enjoy moorea Weather on the land or on the water you will have the time of your like .......
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mark is so hospitable, warm and accommodating. He personally picked me up from the last ferry from Tahiti and then took me to a grocery store to buy groceries and food. He's passionate about ensuring his guests are fully taken care of and have the best experience. The houses are very well kept up, and they are so cheap given what you get. Bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and the villa has a living room with an indoor/outdoor area. Bugs were not a problem (I visited in winter) but they were when I was in Tahiti. I surfed Teahupoo before coming to Mark's Place. However, Hapiti is a GREAT wave to surf. You take one of Mark's canoe's out and tie it up to a buoy and you have a perfect left with friendly locals and a deeper reef. It's a left that can barrel when it get's big. I met so many awesome travelers at Marks place. I traveled alone but would be awesome to go back with a significant other. Expect a calm relaxing getaway with great people and great hospitality. Thanks Mark!!!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely location with sunset beach view
Cons: For more of an exotic feel I would recommend the beach view bungalows. We stay we are in a multi story building by the pool with no view.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: not easily assessable to rest of the island and difficult to get a cab or line up activities.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Cozy, quaint, very friendly staff. Nice breakfast and well appointed rooms
Cons: We had an older bungalow with no hot water (Luke warm) and a barely functioning AC unit. Our friends has a newer unit which had plenty of hot water and an AC
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved everything! The staff was terrific, the place itself was exquisite, the ocean and lagoons were wonderful and the water was superb! The restaurant food and sunsets were amazing.
Cons: Nothing..........
Good 7.5
Pros: Really lovely little hotel on a paradise island.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The ocean view was spectacular.
Cons: It’s kind of far from the center.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location right at the beach and near some shops & restaurant was perfect. My room was clean and nice, air conditioned and had a beautiful view. Service was friendly. The restaurant was located in the waterfront and the food there was good.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful place
Cons: None
Excellent 8.0
Great location - with Le Petit Village just across the road, perfectly situated for Sunsets and located next to a lovely white sand beach. While there were cooking facilities, the lack of cooking utensils made it difficult to self cater. In all other respects hotel was as expected.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bungalow we were put in was right on the beach with excellent views of the water and restaurant. The water is beautiful and there was great snorkeling and vendors right next door where you rent kayaks to go visit the stingrays and sharks, just off the shore. Coco beach was also right off shore but we didn't make it. There were shops and restaurants right down the road and the location was exceptional. The dinner place was great! The staff were lovely. Most people spoke French at the hotel but the staff was able to communicate with us most of the time in English.
Cons: You could hear everything in the room.... The people outside talking at 5am, people walking by at 1:30am and the birds squawking overhead at 2am. The breakfast buffet was $28 USD per person and didn't include much. It looked like a continental breakfast that you'd find in the states at most hotels. Thankfully we were able to order omelets a la carte which saved some money.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The property is beautiful. And the bungalows located right by the beach are like something from a movie. The hotel has a Bar and Cafe which sits right over the water and is very good and has an amazing view. The beach front is gorgeous, soft white sand beach and calm water with no waves. Very shallow beach and snorkeling is great for all ages. Evenings here is so relaxing. We specifically chose this hotel because the island has a weekend lock down, where you cannot travel around the island. You can however visit the beach and restaurant if your hotel has one - this was a good choice for us.
Cons: I was very happy with my stay, and would come back here. The bungalow does not have AC, which wasn't a very big deal in early October. Ok, now my only gripe with the hotel - most of the staff was very pleasant and friendly. However, during our stay we received some bad service on several occasions. (I am very reasonable and brush things off. I have much respect for the service industry). When the service kept getting worse I looked up some reviews which duplicated what my wife was saying about the service. On one occasion we were waiting for our meal, and noticed people after us already being served. The waitress didn't check up on us and kept serving guests around us. I went up to check on our food, and our order had not been taken - so we order again (oh well, beautiful view, we're on vacation, no rush). Day of our anniversary we eat dinner at the main restaurant, food selection was good, ambiance was good. But our server kept forgetting about us. The food came out cold, but we didn't complain. Since our food came out late, we are done with our wine and wanted more drinks. We finished the rest of our cold meal with no drinks and couldn't find the waitress. Trying to enjoy our special day we did not complain. The next day the staff had changed and service was much at the bar. However we did not eat at Tipaniers for the remainder of our trip. There are many excellent restaurants walking distance from the hotel. (Sea you Later, Le Lézard Jaune Café, Restaurant Tiahura).
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was perfect and our bungalow was prime spot. Loved it and made some amazing memories here.
Good 6.7
Pros: Beach early in the morning was great.
Cons: Miscommunication with staff, who told us the hotel didn't have any snorkeling equipment available. We brought our own, then found a rental place right down on the beach by the hotel. Also, the cabin was stifling hot, even with all windows open and two fans running. If you normally live north of 35 degrees North Latitude, get an air conditioned cabin. Our bad for thinking we'd be comfortable with just a fan.
Excellent 8.4
Excellent location and spacious room for 4! In April it was tough not having air conditioning.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Obviously the island. The location is great. We went walking to the Intercontinental for dinner and similarly to buy some groceries at two distinct places. I went more than once swimming from the hotel to the sting-rays and sharks place. You cannot ask more than that.
Cons: Our bungalow had no A/C as expected. The only fan is located on the ceiling above the living room. The result is that the bed room gets little air. Adding a smaller fan on the bed would be a smart, easy addition.
Good 6.8
Pros: Unbeatable location, good value restaurant.
Cons: Roosters and chooks, I even saw staff feeding them despite requests for guests not to feed them. They kept us up quite a few nights. They don't just crow at sunrise, it's all night. Ok for staff, I guess they go home!

we had our honeymoon here and had the very best stay in over water bungalow, snorkeling was unreal.
Excellent 8.2
we were there off season so there was lots of construction and the big pool was fully shut. The ocean water in front of the hotel isn't really impressive but ok.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: very detailed orientated arrangement got our check in/out and local transportation.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The concierge service specially Josianne was very helpful to me In sunning my stay in Moorea
Cons: The wifi service was poor Frequent disconnections Interrupting my upload work

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The accomodations and amenities were excellent. The hosts are delightful and very accommodatiing. I particularly liked they had cars to rent directly on the property and there was all types of flexibility how I could rent the car. I also liked the service that the owner would drive you to the Ferry if you rented the car more than 2 days.
Cons: Dogs barking at night. Was disappointed in the quality of the water in the lagoons, but that is definitely not the owners fault.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We felt completely at home and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and furnished rooms. The beach across the street was beautiful and the people we met there so friendly. Our hosts were also very accommodating and went out of their way for us. We would like to return in the future.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A nice and comfy bungalow, at a very calm location and near a nice beach. You will find everything you need inside to cook etc. There is also a small terrace surrounded by flowers with a lot of air. And, it's relatevily not an expensive stay which was nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great owners. Kayak available for paddling on the lagoon. Beach literally just across the road.
Cons: Some of the pots/pans in the kitchen could need replacement.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very welcoming owners. Good quiet location, but you need a car to move around. Small beach just across the street. You have your own small house with everything you need.
Cons: The bed was a bit too hard and pillows should be replaced as these where really old already.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hosts were very kind and friendly, and the room was perfect. It was across the road from the beach, so water access was very good. The mattress was very comfortable. The rental car was also very good.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This accommodation was great! Located steps away from a beautiful beach with amazing snorkeling. The bungalow is very clean and comfortable (it gets very hot and humid in Moorea, but that's not something that can be helped). The bungalow is in a garden, so there are a fair number of geckos scurrying around, but they're harmless and won't bother you (plus they eat mosquitos!). The bungalow's porch is perfect for eating breakfast on, too! Overall, this place was very easy to find, a good value, clean and conveniently located. Would highly recommend!
Cons: No complaints.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location: beach is 1 minute walk... Mini market is 1 minute walk too. Owners are the best. Good ppl.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely cabin, spacious and everything you need. Very friendly host which offers us free snorkling sets and canoe. The ‘private’ beach is close by, just cross the street. The corals are amazing! Even even the weather is not that sunny. Store next door with, very early, fresh Bread and lovely babanabread. Also many other foods.
Cons: We liked almost everything but after a few nights the bed was a bit too soft for us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Large, clean one bedroom with very good cooking facilities, beach across the street, private garden with deck for relaxing and eating your meals outside, and with a small grocery store next door.
Cons: Two small points: 1) soap was not provided in the bathroom, and 2) the water was not drinkable and while a bottle of water was provided upon our arrival, we stayed 5 nights and were expected to buy the rest of what we needed at the store.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Our bungalow was close to the lagoon with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helped to direct us to activities. We enjoyed our meals at the over the water restaurant. We were walking distance from some places to eat and a local supermarket. We also had wifi and AC which made our stay very comfortable.
Cons: The bungalow were pretty minimal and the restaurant menu was also limited.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Sofia and Vanille were so very kind, warm, friendly, and helpful! They are both great assets to the Hotel. All staff were wonderful. We did not get the name of the maintenance/grounds keeper gentleman but he was also an exceptional person. The bungalow was quite comfortable and location perfect.
Cons: Free "breakfast" was only coffee, juice, and bread. Not a deal breaker though.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location, Loved the restaurant / common area that extended into the bay. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Had a tasty buffet breakfast.
Good 6.0
Pros: The property is tired and had a 80's kitch vibe. They could clean it up and simplify. It shows its wear and unfinished state. It appears little to no money is spent for improvements... wgomeever owns this property shojld either give it up or invest in it. You could see the potential to make it a real charming slice of paradise.
Cons: I liked the location set against the stunning view of Cooks Bay.
Excellent 8.4
I enjoyed staying at the Kaveka, as it is in Cooks bay and close to shops and restaurants. The restaurant has great views of the water and the mountains and you can see fish swimming below. I enjoyed snorkeling in the bay and was really beneficial being there during the Sunday lockdown. The food for dinner was good, the breakfast buffet could use some improvements. The Wifi was okay, but it did drop my signal here and there. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating which made it very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again should I return to Moorea.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the food was good and the service was great. we snorkeled right from the dock at the restaurant.
Cons: unfortunately we were there during the "lockdown" so our entertainment options were limited, but that was certainly not Hotel Kavecka's fault
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location and the access to the ocean
Cons: Nothing
Poor 1.0
Cons: There is wifi but it does not work. The rooms are dirty, the floors are black with dirt and cobwebs everywhere. I dropped my white t-shirt on the floor and when I picked it up it had black dirt all over it. The free breakfast included is free bread and coffee.
Excellent 8.0
The restaurant food was mediocre
Excellent 10.0
Surprised my 15 year old with a 5 day trip to Mo'orea. She LOVED the bayside location. The overwater restaurant was a big hit as well. Staff extremely friendly.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful location on cooks bay. Terrific snorkeling off hotel pier. Nicely affordable compared to other higher-end resorts.
Cons: Little extras all cost extra—bicycles, kayaks, snorkel equipment, beach towels. Hotel restaurant very expensive ($25 for simple buffet breakfast). No nearby restaurants in walking distance.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: kayaks and location female staff were sweet free breakfast
Cons: my last night a noisy large group kept me up till midnight - several funny rules & regulations
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It is literally at the seaside! You can see the sunsets from the pier and take the free kayak out to explore in the morning. There is also a restaurant on the site so you can have your meals right in there. I was using the restaurant tables for working during the daytime. The WiFi was very good there!
Cons: The dormitory room above the reception is very very basic. There are not even lockers for your things. It is open to nature so all the street sounds are gonna enter the room early in the morning (it gets quite loud). The closest shop is quite far - it took me an hour to walk there. The food in the restaurant is very basic...
Excellent 8.0
Pros: La situation Le bungalow
Okay 5.0
Pros: The free breakfast was very good. Everyday I had one fresh banana, two slices of pineapple, hot chocolate, juice and baguette. I liked that you have direct access to the ocean and it's just a few steps away. The house over the water was very cool, where you could spend the time.
Cons: One night they put 22 beds instead of the 12 beds in the dorm room. Every bed had a person. That was horrible! And that they do it in Corona times. Unbelievable! And cleaning the bathroom? That's nothing they do. The bathroom was during my 4 nights stay always dirty. They didn't clean it.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location for snorkeling. Love the hospitality of Herongi. She is very kind and watching out for the guests. Very pleased with my three days vacation here.
Cons: Will be helpful if there is minimal kitchen facilities such as water kettle/ microwave, cup, plate, and silverware.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Pension Motu Iti. We had a beach front bungalow and this has to be about as close as you can get to having your own private overwater bungalow, although it is next to the water rather than over water, and the price is right. The room and bathroom are large and nicely/romantically decorated and there is a lovely beachfront porch with a sliding glass door. You can view the water right from the bed. After reading the reviews, I expected this place to be crowded and noisy, as there is a hostel section, but it was more like our own private oasis, as we were aware of only about 5 other people at the whole property. There is a small dock with a sitting area that one can walk out on and walk down the ladder into the ocean/lagoon. We saw 5 kayaks available for use and I think we were the only ones that used them. We brought our own snorkeling gear, so we would take the kayaks out about a half mile west by the Hilton OWB where there is some of the best snorkeling on the island. There is a restaurant at the property, although prices are a bit high. Because of covid 19, we preferred to make our own food, so we had some groceries that we were able to fit in the small refrigerator in our room. It would have been nice to have a cooktop or microwave, but we knew ahead of time that none was available, so we planned on cold brew coffee, and brought our own water filtration device. The sunsets were breathtaking. The grocery store is quite a walk away. The Rotui juice factory and the Tropical gardens are walkable. We had already been on the "magic mountain" hike but that was fairly close, as well. We arrived by ferry from Tahiti and were able to take the bus from the ferry terminal to this property. There were some barking dogs and roosters on the properties next door, so ear plugs at night could be helpful.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The Hostel is located directly at the beach, you have a great view from the jetty and Restaurant. You can rent the canoes for free, which is a very good Service! Thanks for that. The Coral reef in front of the hotel is great, if you don't mind the plants that are swimming on the surface.
Cons: We booked on booking.com including breakfast, but the Lady of the Hostel said, that the breakfast was just included for me and not for my son. We should have paid extra for his breakfast, what we didn't do, so we had to share mine. The owner of the Hostel and one Lady of the Staff were very Kind. The other Lady was many times not even answering, when we said "Bonjour" or "Thank you". You always got the feeling that you were bothering her. The fact, that you can't sit in the Restaurant after 8 p.m. because they just switch off the Lights, makes you feel not really welcome, like: " please eat your dinner and then just go"
Good 7.0
Pros: Cute bungalow , nice garden, free kayak. 15 minutes walk to Hilton ,
Cons: No coffee maker in room.
Good 7.0
Pros: The view and location were great! Reception desk was very kind and kayaks were available for free!
Cons: The bathroom was really run down and there were ants on the counter and in the shower. Other than that it was just fine.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: LOCATION
Cons: Poor attention from the staff. Food more expensive than another restaurants and not to good.
