Excellent 9.0
Pros: The inside tempered pool and jacuzzi was the best part of this hotel. Beautiful with a view to the Salar and to the sunset!! And you can reserve it for your exclusive private use! Oh and the matress! It was like a hug! Although it was small. Breakfast plentiful and varied.
Cons: The room and bathroom are a little tight. Food at Lunch and dinner could be better.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Absolutely stunning facility with very helpful and attentive staff. It's right at the entrance to the Salar, so great location too.
Cons: Food was just ok, but they have amazing drink options.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel!!! It was a great experience to stay there since it is a very original and unique place!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The Hotel is one of its kind. Everything is really made of Salt (bed, sofa, tables, pillars and even ceiling of room). Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was amazing. Room was reaslly good. There as enough space for two of us. The Pool is something I would suggest everyone to use once.
Cons: Limited options to eat. Though we did not face any problem as we ordered sandwiches from bar menu, which was enough for us. Shower in bathroom was too congested. water spills out easily. but thats OK not big deal.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All staff are vaccinated. High Standards in cleanliness even during this pandemic! The pool is amazing! Service is great. Breakfast is DELICIOUS and dinner too!
Cons: Other guests not wearing masks in lounge and restaurant and we had to leave numerous times even though we were following covid 19 protocol. There should be more effort to make those guests where the masks not us have to put up with their lack of following the rules.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The architecture and decor of the facility make it interesting and beautiful!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is amazing. Staff is very friendly, especially the ladies at reception and all the staff in restaurant and bar. People usually have a full program with excursions when they come here, I had one day with no program and was able to enjoy the spa and hotel facilities.
Cons: There is nothing not positive to say about this place :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing location. Super friendly staff. Fantastic spa. Excellent food. Rooms were beautiful.
Cons: Little bit pricey.
Excellent 10.0
The hotel offers a pleasurable experience and pleasing stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. It offers a warm atmosphere. The staff are perceptive and heedful. They have a sports bar. One with a fireplace, a small billiard table, chess tables, card playing table. There is also a viewing deck where guests can enjoy the view of nature surrounding the hotel. We have an exemplary experience.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is very pleasant for a relaxing stay. The shower water is hot, there is plenty of space in the rooms, clean & comfortable furniture/beds and a warm atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly and keen to please as we found in all our travel in Bolivia. There are two lounges and a bar area where people congregate around an open fire, a small billiard table resting on pillars of salt, chess tables on the bar, a card playing table, and another log fire in the breakfast room. There is an upstairs viewing area lounge for a great view of the salt flats surrounding the hotel, including two outside viewing areas for a great view of the Southern Cross at night. There are some extraordinary sculptures in the corridors and very good decor and lighting planned to compliment them, in a traditional theme. If you choose to stay here I hope you have as good a time as we had.
Excellent 8.5
The hotel is made of salt at the edge of Salar de Uyuni. The decor was great with a beautiful salt dome as the ceiling. Their staffs were helpful and informative. My room then, was clean given the amount of salt/mud that was being dragged in by the people who was staying there. There are available rent out boots for use on the salt flats. It was much quieter than the other place in Uyuni. There were a lot of people getting up early for sunrises and arriving late after a long day of travelling. They also have free tea or coffee provided all day at the lobby. I will be back here for sure. It was more expensive than the other hotels but it's worth every dime. I enjoyed the salt as mud. Thanks Hotel Palacio.

Good 7.0
Pros: Good location, clean, well designed and up to international standards (which is HARD to find in Bolivia). Delightful restaurant and in general good lighting design. A very pleasant break from the otherwise quite harsh life in the Altiplano. Would definitely come back!
Cons: Please. The showers. You must fix them. It took nearly 25 minutes to heat water, which would have been OK in the extreme low season of Covid. But the problem is the water pressure. It was so bad it was actually EASIER to clean myself in the SINK, when the hot water had arrived. My partner just showered in the cold drip and went to bed. After camping and living rough in the Salt Flats for nearly a week, I would gladly have given up the nice design touches for just a functioning, warm shower.. However, the bed, general comfort and design made up for it!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff’s attention was superb and very efficient.
Cons: Graduating the rooms temperature isn’t easy as it works with a handle
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Comfortable and stylish place. Good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The attached restaurant. Private parking for the motorcycles

Good 7.0
Pros: installations and the stuff
Good 7.0
Pros: The location and views from the hotel is amazing. The hotel staff was nice, and upgraded our hotel room for free!
Cons: Food was very expensive for the quality. You are forced to buy their food as there is nowhere else to go for food... I expected more breakfast options for a hotel of this standard... At least have basic things like chicken, eggs or chocolate/Nutella.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is great, with plenty of room for relaxation, most of the hotel has a great view to the Salt Flats. The staff is very friendly under guidance of the very caring manager Rodrigo, kudos to the driver Demetrio.
Cons: I would like to have a water boil in the room, it didn’t bother me much because I had a water thermal and the employees kept sit filled up for me.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great views and amazing decoration. The food was great and the staff members were really nice
Cons: The rooms didn’t have TVs, the food was expensive and the parking was terrible
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was beautiful! Very relaxing to stay in. The food was excellent and the facilities were very modern. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel! I only wish I would have more time to stay there.
Excellent 10.0
I would exceedingly prescribe Luna Salada. 1. It has numerous numerous common zone, and most of them with salt lake see, which is dazzling! 2. The benefit is great! We arrived at the inn at 10 am, they permit us to check within the moment the room is prepared around 10:30. Whereas the typical check in time is 3 pm. 3. Office, Nourishment and drink are extraordinary! Lodging gives welcome drink. Spa zone is unwinding. Breakfast juice and natural product is my favorite portion. New and top notch!
Excellent 10.0
The sal inn is distant from Uyuni Town. It is in center of dessert so make beyond any doubt you orchestrate along with your visit specialist to choose up some time recently the visit. Most of the visit requires you to buy additional water, you likely too should inquire yr operator to purchase on yr sake cos there's no shops around the inn. Once more, it is within the center of dessert. The inn is built of salt, so the floor is secured by salt. This incorporates the rooms. I personally find it or maybe bother since you can't walk uncovered foot within the room and you have got to create beyond any doubt you do not incidentally bring all the salt onto the bed. In any case, the lodging incorporates a beautiful eatery and the nourishment isn't terrible. The see of the dessert and salt (distant absent) is hypnotizing and it could be a exceptionally special encounter. I unequivocally exhort the inn to supply bike so that inhabitants can cycle to the salt level. As of now, they don't have such benefit.
Excellent 10.0
Hotel de Sal Luna Salada is a fantastic hotel close to the Salar de Uyuni. Not cheap but an unforgettable experience. Wonderful decoration, very nice rooms, great restaurant and good service (spa with Jacuzzi / sauna planned). My biggest impression was how quiet, and serene everything was. Beds had huge comforters on them to keep you warm, mine were too hot, I had to kick them off. Was a wonderful experience to spend one night in a hotel entirely build of salt and to enjoy the great views and sunset over the Salar. This is one of the most extravagant hotels in Latin America. All in all a memorable experience.
Excellent 10.0
This place is surreal. The hotel is beautiful decorated nicely, large spacious rooms and fantastic room heaters. Believe it or not, it's not as cold as the other reviewers would have you believe. My biggest impression was how quiet, and serene everything was. At night the stars were just brilliant in there intensity, you felt you were a million miles away from everything while you were 2 steps away from this luxury hotel. Beds had huge comforters on them to keep you warm, mine were too hot, I had to kick them off. Again it's a little cool however you're in a desert which generally has really cold temps at night and in the morning, I'd say dress for it. The other parts of the hotel were great as well, there is no other place around so you'll be dining at the restaurant, great food 3 courses, dress warm. All in all a memorable experience.
Good 6.5
The Bolivian Salt Flats is a pretty well kept secret in the United States and it is worth a trip. The Hotel de Sal Luna Salada is a perfect place to stay. The rooms are so comfortable, clean, and decorated with beautiful textiles and local art. The views to the salt flats were gorgeous. I loved the cozy nooks with fireplaces located throughout the hotel. I was just in awe at the beauty and uniqueness of the place. The staffs were friendly, they were happy to help and accommodate me during my stay. It's worth every penny. The dinner was not at its reasonable price. Also, WiFi was not good in my room. I hope they will strengthen their internet connection. Most importantly, they will change the course of the menu.
Excellent 8.5
Hotel de Sal Luna Salada is made from salt and has crushed salt instead of carpets on the floor. Reception were very efficient and caused us as little hassle as possible. We were then shown to our room which was a fair hike from reception. The room had an amazing view over the salt flats and towards the rapidly approaching sunset. The room is compact but perfectly comfortable and seems to have everything you could need except complimentary water. This annoyed me. It is such a simple thing to do. We shot back to the hotel entrance and sat outside to watch the sunset. It was truly beautiful and lit up the surrounding mountains as well as the light cloud. The colors were beautiful and covered the entire rainbow. I am sure there was some green in there.... The bar was a little slow. I gave up on my first attempt to order beer. The food in the restaurant was poor. The soup was fabulous but the buffet was cold (meant to be hot) and some of the food was under cooked. I ate very tentatively and am not sure what I would have done if we were staying for a second night. You can't exactly walk out and go to another restaurant. The decor of the hotel, interior, is amazing. We loved the long corridors which had seating areas running alongside the length of it. These areas had fires every second or third one. They were lovely. They managed to find some pink roses to put in the table decoration. They also managed to charge 15 BS for a bottle of water. The experience was incredible as was the change in temperature from the minute the sun started to dip below the horizon. I am sitting here typing this in bed at 7:00 and my hands are freezing. The WiFi worked in our room. They have installed boosters in various places and this seems to have worked.

Poor 1.0
Cons: Pick-up service is terrible, keeping me waiting at the airport for about 40 minutes, and another 20 minutes in a hot, no air-conditioned car. Dirty, as towels smell something rotten. Furthermore, Bedbugs and insects it has in both bedroom and bothroom, biting and flying all night. No elevator, so I had to climb the steep staircase with suitcase, getting dizzy.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good breakfast, good location to our 3 day Tour operator for Salt Flats. Helpful reception staff.
Cons: A front of the hotel bedroom where we did not sleep because of disco noise that did not end til 5 AM. Horrendous; to start a 3 day tour which was quite arduous with little sleep
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice cute cozy place. Spacious room, super large hard bed, excellent breakfast, and very helpful staff-all requests fullfilled.
Cons: I liked everything. Little things-dark curtains may be could do, since outside on the street there is bright light. But it is not big issue
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable and friendly staff. We stayed a second night after our tour and could leave our large luggage there. We also stayed an extra night as we all got some food poisoning. The staff brought us tea to the room and helped where they could. Highly recommended!
Cons: -

Pros: The whole place is very clean. Shower water is hot and very good. Place is very warm all the time. Wifi is stable. Breakfast is ok.
Cons: The biggest thing is the staff does not speak english. The room is relatively bit smaller, but very practical. Outlet is not enough to my friends room because they have three people in one room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly and wonderful staff. The hospitality and the helpfulness. Fantastic place to stay and fantastic Minuteman pizza. Enjoyed our stay tremendously.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Tonito was the perfect overnight stay - so much in fact we booked it twice. It was very close to the pickup and drop off points of our salt flats tour in Uyuni. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped us at every turn - booking taxis, showing us atms and answering our questions about flights. They went above and beyond. The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable. What made it even better was the pizza restaurant in the hotel - very convenient and delicious. Thank you for having us stay!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic pizza restaurant and they sell craft ale. Very classy place. Staff were so nice, the airline lost our luggage and they sorted it out for us before our Uynui tour the following day. Perfect stop in Uynui.
Cons: The staff and the cleanliness. Very quiet too.
Good 7.9
Pros: Reckon this might just be one of the best hotels in Uyuni and a huge improvement on my first hotel there. Friendly reception staff - Suzie was a lovely host and had good bants! They organised an airport taxi for me at check in without me having to ask. Cosy little hotel with large super comfy bed and best pillows I’ve yet had in Bolivia/Peru. You also have one of the best restaurants (Minuteman pizza) in Uyuni on-site.
Cons: Couldn’t find any English channels on cable tv.
Good 7.5
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Staff not very helpful, tiny bathroom, left dust on floor all night. No help with baggage.
Good 7.9
Pros: Unusually good pizza restaurant, great for tour-exhausted travellers. Manager arranged breakfast an hour early to allow us to eat before catching 7.30 a.m. bus. Helpful receptionist ensured taxi to terminal.
Cons: No complaints, but comfort standards could have been higher (no functioning reading lamp, bathroom supplies just adequate, hot water not too hot first thing in morning. Would not accept credit card.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to everything and very clean. Also great restaurant in its premises.

Pros: Staff is extremely friendly.
Cons: Pretty basic. If heater is provided in the bathroom it will be better.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Hot water is stable and water pressure is good. Staff are nice.
Cons: Location is a bit far (~10 mins walk) from the night bus drop-off point and the travel agencies street.
Good 7.5
Pros: It’s clean and room is big. It’s also not far from downtown.
Cons: Breakfast has no hot food. Only hot water for cereal. They don’t provide water or cattle. A bottle of water at front desk cost 10 Bs.
Mediocre 2.9
Cons: Reception - not manned 24hrs Staff were rude and not helpful Room - dirty blood stained sheets Bathroom - full of mould and didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. Took a shower, shower head fell off on top of me and I was sprayed from head to toe with black mould. Complained and was told we could use a bathroom somewhere else until blood stained sheets were pointed out. Moved to another room which wasn't much better.

Pros: Good breakfast, comfy room with hot shower!
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff was very accommodating, they let us come back before we left uyuni to go to the bathroom or take it easy in the room
Cons: The shower wasnt clean... The light in the bathroom wasn't working
Okay 5.0
Pros: Breakfast simple but decent. Convenient location in the town center. Staff helped with a breakfast to go for an early check out.
Cons: I didn't have high expectations, but when it comes to safety I'm not kind. The electric shower wiring was exposed with water splashing all over the place. Also I don't understand how you can shower in a bathroom large as a phone booth without a shower curtain. Of course everything got water on it, including toilet paper. WiFi spotty and unreliable. Loud music until 2 am during the first night and overall non existent sound insulation. Only a tiny window looking to a internal hallway.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Small and clean rooms. You wouldn't go to Uyuni to stay in the hotel just to sleep at night. This place is cheap with great breakfast. Also offer tours with high quality staff. Next time I go to uyuni, would stay on this place again. Recommended
Cons: Rooms could be bigger and cleaner. Rooms are only designed to sleep at night.
