Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Central location which is only a stone's throw to all the actions in town. Shops, banks, walks, and Covid tests are all within easy reach. The lodge itself is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. I really liked their mosquito net which is set up high and with enough clearance surrounding all edges of the bed. There's no claustrophic feelings sitting or lying underneath. Love it! Breakfast is buffet and a la carte combined. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Air-conditioning and Wi-Fi signal were strong. I can't find anything that I didn't like about this place.
Cons: None
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Great location to Victoria Falls
Cons: Terrible WI-FI/internet Room was slated for repairs, but front desk was not aware. So, they gave me that room. If it wasn’t for the bellman, who straightened out the room, it would have been a disaster. After I unpacked, the room supervisor came by to offer me the room next door. Too little, too late.
Good 7.0
Pros: The Breakfast and dinner was OK. The beds are very comfortable and the location is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast coffee could be better and the rooms need a little refurbishment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel and fantastic location. The rooms were huge and clean , we loved everything about it
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location and fabulous staff. Facilities were clean and well maintained.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great colonial feel and ambiance at the Ilala lodge. One feels like they stepped back into time with apt decor. Lovely well kept grounds. Walking distance to Victoria Falls. One can hear and see the mist from Victoria Falls.
Cons: Wish that included meals would incorporate more of local Zimbabwe cuisine/local delicacies. This would further enhance the entire theme at Ilala. Located close to a major transport road between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Frequently hear lorries driving by.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything: exceptional staff friendly people very good service amazing room The food was delicious.
Cons: I thought some of the dishes were funny tasting but I think it has to do with my American taste not so much for the problems with the food I'm not particularly didn't like their bacon or ham and their soups didn't taste very good but I think it's more my taste than it is the lack of skill of the chefs. I think in general most of the food was delicious
Excellent 9.6
Excellent staff! Good meals. Great location.
Excellent 8.5
Optimal location for visiting the falls but also to walk to the city center. The lodge was renovated and an extension has been added. The previous rooms have new air conditioning, carpet, new beds, USB ports and a modern bathroom. In front of the terrace a beautiful green area from where you can see the fog of the falls. The new rooms are larger and some have a terrace or balcony. All rooms have a Nespresso machine. Check in easily and with questions is always someone on the spot. Check out also fast and efficient. The crew is always friendly and helpful. Definitely my first choice if I come again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The grounds are gorgeous and in an excellent location. Just a 10 minute walk to the falls and the mist within sight from each balcony. The food was tasty and a bit extraordinary in pairing. Service was very attentive, but not overbearing. Room was luxurious. All said, I'd gladly stay here again.
Cons: Dinner was a bit pricey for the serving sizes. Water was expensive at $3 for .75 liters.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, arranging fur my PCR test by the swimming pool.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent location for adventure but at the same time it feels like home the minute you step into your room. Staff were absolutely amazing.
Cons: Hot days can be super Hot but nothing a few drinks can't take care of
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I liked the lovely gardens and pool area.
Cons: Bit far from town Centre.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I love this place. In the high price tourist area of Victoria Falls, Bayete is reasonably priced without sacrificing anything. The staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are lovely and the rooms attractive and comfortable with all the usual amenities.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.0

Cons: Internet very poor
Excellent 9.0

Excellent 8.5
An afternoon and a night at Batonka; Beautiful lodge. The air-conditioned room was turned towards a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool. Friendly staff, quality cuisine by a friendly chef at the end of the dinner. We would have liked to stay one more night, maybe next time. A great time too fast We stayed two nights early in this new lodge but built in colonial style. Nice comfortable room. This lodge eccentric in Victoria falls enjoys a great calm. The staff is ubiquitous and at your service. Good breakfast It is advisable to take a taxi to get from the hotel to Victoria Falls or vice versa.
Excellent 10.0
Very nice home. The rooms are large with separate bathroom and has a small safe. Beautiful building housing the reception, the bar and the restaurant with a beautiful terrace with the pool at its feet. We only had breakfast and drinks, preferring to take a taxi ($ 5) to eat more local in town. The staff is very nice and attentive. They spend a lot of time making you visit the hotel, to inform you and to advise you. Their taxi driver Lee is honest and very attentive. The manager allowed us to stay in the room until 11 am, then to the pool. She finally opened a room for us to shower before leaving. It's really nice.

Good 7.0
Pros: Boma
Cons: Wonderful experience
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent location Serene atmosphere
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything - the pool, people & animal experience
Excellent 10.0
Pros: exceptional location and staff. Loved every minute of it
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location with wildlife visiting the water hole all the time !
Cons: Loved it all
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The property overlooked the water hole and jungle and so you were able to see a lot of wildlife. The daily Vulture feeding was also interesting
Cons: Felt the room was a bit small for a couple little storage space, so kept having to move suitcases and bags to get around.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was one of our high lights of our stay. There was so many nice things to choose from to eat. Lucky we where there for more than one day to try every thing. The view from your table was even better.
Cons: I landed up falling in the show, because the tiles where so clean and slippery. It needs a shower mat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Where do I start with what I liked: *I learned that their HR department will bring any donated items to people who need them. So if you desire, you can bring clothes, school supplies, or anything else (just not most food items). *The staff were fantastic! Polite, helpful, on top of everything! I was greeted with a smile and welcomed instantly and they even asked to make a copy of my activity itinerary so that they could confirm all of the dates/times with the company for me. They also seemed to plan the room cleaning and turn down service according to my activity schedule. *On the last day there I needed to contact my credit card company and the number wouldn't work on my cell. After trying their office phone and realizing it wouldn't work either, they offered to find me a staff member with a cell phone. I want to emphasize that it is extremely uncommon to have an unlimited cell phone plan, which means, they were going to offer to use their personal paid minutes to help me make the call. I declined of course because no one should pay for my phone call! But the fact that this was the lengths they were willing to go to instantly, without a thought, was heart warming! *There is a complimentary mini bar (including sodas, alcohol, etc.). Um...yes! *The room was spectacular. *The view was beautiful. *The bar/restaurant overlooks a watering hole. My first night there a herd of elephants and about 100 water buffalo came to drink. Oh yeah, and you can see the hole from the pool. *The pool is so cool (as in awesome, not freezing). *They do a free vulture feeding at 1:00pm every day (this involves hundreds of vultures. It was amazing!) *Breakfast was included with my stay and included a full cold spread (meats, cheeses, fruits, bloody mary, etc.) as well as a menu (albeit small) for hot items (including omelets and french toast). I wound up never even getting the hot items because the cold spread was so filling. *Where do I start? Let me just stay Augustine is AMAZING! He is the hospitality manager there and absolutely change the entire trajectory of my stay and helped coordinate a huge activity that I otherwise would not have been able to be a part of. He is fantastic! *It is farther away from the falls, which I thought might be a bad thing, but they offer hourly free shuttle to the falls, the open market, and 2 other stops, so I never felt distant from anything. Plus, I realized that I only got 2 mosquito bites over 6 days, while others I spoke to who stayed closer to the falls/river complained of a lot more bites. So maybe being away from the falls was actually a plus. Also, because they have so many things there (vulture feeding, beautiful restaurant view, The Boma, and the water hole) you can actually do more AT the hotel than you can at most other places. *The Boma is a fun place and is right there at the hotel. Short walking distance, yet they still have an additional shuttle that will take you straight there.
Cons: What didn't I like? Um, leaving? Really, it was such a wonderful place!

Excellent 10.0
We stayed at Victoria Falls Safari Club for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! They surprised us with a bottle of wine! The food was great and we could see animals from the watering hole. We were easily able to book excursions see Victoria Falls. Great trip!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was really good. Service is the best ! Special thanks to Hugh!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice view, nice rooms, lovley staff
Cons: Food for a 5 star lodge wasnt up to standards
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, the manager is very helpful. Clean rooms. Fast laundry. Good location.
Cons: Limited food menu
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great views. The pool and other amenities were pleasant, and the staff was helpful in getting our bookings for activities. The breakfast was also very good.
Cons: Dinner service was a bit slow. The booking details promised complimentary sundowner drinks and canapés but we never got these.
Okay 5.0
Pros: I had a packed breakfast which was fine but my wife said there was no bacon and other items available on the menu .
Cons: On arrival in our room I observed that the lounge section had not be cleaned as there was still peanuts and other items on the carpet. Without being petty this immediately made me feel uncomfortable because of Covid. I had to ask a waiter twice to wear his mask correctly when serving. No complementary tea or drinks as advertised. No porter to assist when I left in the morning.
Good 6.0
Pros: Nice rooms but they don't have a view to the water hole, just to the bush. Friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast service extremely slow. No massage was available in the afternoon. Overall I would say that not worth the cost, with the money paid you should get more.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great service great location luxury beautifully designed hotel
Cons: There could be more than one person on reception for check in at a time
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Culture vulture talk was brilliant, staff in the Club were friendly and accommodating and room was beautiful with a great balcony view and animal sightings and view over the national park were amazing! Food in restaurants was delicious.
Cons: Hotel transfer to Vic Falls airport was more expensive than getting a taxi - not value for money. Felt like we were expected to pay premium just because we were staying there, an expectation that we had lots of money therefore could afford to pay more.
Excellent 9.6
Amazing place , anyone would love it here
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved it - staff were all so wonderful- engaging, smart, intelligent, helpful and keen to make our stay perfect, which it was. All of the extras blew us away - sunscreen, insect repellent, Nespresso machine, complimentary mini bar, beautiful delicate wine glasses .... . The bed looked straight out to the National Park - what a way to wake up! Bathroom was as large as the bedroom! Incredible. Gorgeous pool overlooking a watering hole. The team had our every need catered for.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10.0
Three nights at this hotel and I wish I could stayed a month.First of all I want to mention the staff and again the staff. From the first one to the last one they were wonderful people with best service. Our room overlooked the 'lake' and it was a special treat to see in the evenings the elephants coming to the water, fooling around for a while and leaving. What a view. The room was big, the bed was big, each afternoon we received complimentary mineral water which was highly appreciated. Plenty of activities around the hotel: we participated in the vulture feeding at 1 o'clock at noon, took the sun set cruise on the Zambezi river, took the helicopter flight above the falls, participated in the Boma dinner and dance and of course we visited the falls. The last four activities were not cheap but worth every cent. The safari club has free shuttle to the falls from morning till afternoon with different stations on the way. Make sure you check with the driver when is the last pick up back from the different stations. There is free internet in the rooms and the hotel area with powerful connections. The hotel can arrange shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back but if you ask for taxi from the hotel and back it will be $3 cheaper per person/one way. There is also a swimming pool.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The resort was great and had a host of complimentary services. Included were Wi-Fi, laundry, breakfast and mini bar. The view from the room was breathtaking. The staff was very professional, pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: The food was good, but not great. But I'm a picky eater.

Pros: The staff were so helpful and accommodating. All the animals!
Cons: I wish there was an option to purchase bottled water Instead of just the resort supplied glass bottled water. It made it difficult to bring water on walks and to activities.

Pros: Loved the staff and the food! :)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very delicious breakfast. Friendly waiters but trainee waiters need closer supervision especially during dinner.
Cons: Liked almost everything on offer. The staff was very friendly. The room was always well equipped and kept clean at all times
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast: There is need for more variety in terms of cereals, nuts and raising and dried fruits Room: The tea/ coffee tray must always be complete Clean: Good
Cons: Breakfast: There is need for more variety in terms of cereals, nuts and raising and dried fruits, and fruits provided Please do not put ketchup on everything, it should be a choice Room: The tea/ coffee tray must always be complete

The Commons at this property are not bad at all. The property is equipped with a well maintained pool, very clean. The rooms do not call for compliments, however they are comfortable, clean, air conditioned. The bathroom is spacious and the shower works well. The air conditioning is a bit noisy. The breakfast is full and the staff very welcoming. A nice place. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends! Thank you so much!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice chilling time by the pool, loads of interesting things around the lodge to do, fish spa, live size chess, boma fire at night. Easy to book activities and u get picked up from the lodge. Rosie the doggy is very cute...
Cons: The bush cafe is closed at the moment, but atleast there is a self catering kitchen with all the basics needed.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: The whole time it felt like all they wanted from you was your money. The guy at the property was very pushy. It felt like you were in prison and was charged over 20 dollars to go on 2 cab rides over a short distance. Do not fall for the night out where the guy stays with you expects you to pay for all his beers. This is a place I would stay away from
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Jay was an excellent host and gave us the best budget activity options
Cons: Would have been nice to have a bar
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good place and good ambiance
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly environment, I felt like home :) Open kitchen, nice pool, good tips on activities
Cons: Bed could be more comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staying at the Backpackers lodge was the best choice my friend and I made: it is a clean and fun accommodation with a lot of facilities and friendly people. We were helped greatly organizing our activities around Vic Falls, that really surprised us and made our stay very relaxed. Getting around Zimbabwe during this pandemic is relatively easy, tourists are welcomed and a lot of the activities are still possible; you even get the rare chance to have the falls for yourself and to have private tours that normally wouldn't be private.
Cons: Most people in Victoria Falls are living from tourism and are having a hard time surviving during this lockdown. It is good to support them by buying some souvenirs or making use of their services, but walking through town can be hard because you can never help every shop owner, guide or street seller.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Great spot, facilities clean.
Cons: Was a bit sad, maybe a reflection of the times. However a great spot.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good location. 20 minutes pedestrian from town (city centre) with supermarket, shops, cafes, excursion companies, then 20 minutes more to VF entrance and border or some more to restaurant above river loop. Lodge looks like small resort having walkways, gardens, observing pad, swimming pool and (for fee) massage even. Nice thematic decoration elsewhere. Kitchen with all equipment including microwaver and fridge. Due to almost suspension of tourism not so much guests and all single in dormitories.
Cons: WiFi (1$ per day) works near swimming pool, not in rooms.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Only the beds
Cons: They way l was treated in terms of my paycheck
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. Good location. Quiet area. Lockers to store your bags.
Cons: Controlling the shower's hot water temperature is quirky, but it worked if you follow the instructions located in the bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Very quiet and elegant garden. The bed is clean. The security facilities are good and the living is reassuring. The staff is very nice, and the kitchen is good for cooking. The decor of the hotel is very beautiful and there is a pond with fish. Those fish can eat the dead skin on your hands and feet, which is really cool. The beds are not bad and there are mosquito nets. The boss will give you a lot of advice about the surrounding activities and will help you plan your trip. The hotel is within walking distance of the Victoria Falls. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent 9.2
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kingdom. It is in a great location, only a short walk to the Falls and close to the shops.
Good 6.0
The Kingdom has great potential but the lockdown has taken its toll. The hotel is operating on skeleton staff and service. The food is at 1 star level. The hotel needs maintenance and needs professional hotel management to be on par with others in its class. The rooms are very small and more the size of an overnight hotel. There are no room views and if you book here you need to know that its to overnight and not stay in the hotel and that you purpose is to experience the other great things of Victoria Falls. The Falls, the Park, The Brewery, 3 Monkeys, the river cruises are all still in excellent condition and worth experiencing
Good 6.3
Pros: Wonderful staff! Very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Lock of elevator in back building. Long time to get food. Prices much to high in comparison with worldwide standards
Okay 5.7
Pros: -The hotel and its grounds are beautiful and really impressively decorated, including a giant Christmas tree in the lobby. The large pool area is large and gorgeous. And the maintenance workers are very friendly. Our room was clean but dimly lit, with a nice balcony, fridge, and safe. - The bellman, Agripa, was very polite and professional in helping us to our room and helping with our luggage upon check-in/check-out - The spa was really nice and accommodating (they also do after-hours treatments), and the therapists named Lindy and Leti gave us the most amazing foot massages! - We liked the nice turn-down service, which included the setup of the mosquito/insect net.
Cons: - No AC and no extra water in extreme heat. It was nearly 40-degree Celsius when we checked in, yet the AC wasn’t working (due to Zim’s rolling power cuts) and our ceiling fan’s control string was broken -- so we had a VERY hard time cooling off in the extreme heat. Worst of all, after baking in this heat all night and losing water from constant sweating, when we asked for extra water at the front desk the next morning, they and their housekeeping staff refused and told us to buy some; we explained we’d paid extra money for this hotel (as opposed to cheaper ones in the area) due to the fact that it had advertised AC. So when this hotel couldn’t deliver on a service they’d advertised, their refusal to offer a remedy as simple as extra drinking water showed they don’t care about their customers’ well being -- only their own profits. - Breakfast had lots of options, but probably half of them were covered in flies (including chopped fruit, yogurt, and other wet food at room temperature). We couldn’t enjoy these things out of fear of getting sick.
Excellent 8.5
Colonial style hotel. Comfortable spacious and clean rooms. Average breakfast as well as dinner. They offer a bottle of water per night in the other bathroom. Or even an anti mosquito repellent cream. The only drawback the WiFi that is scandalous jumps to 10 seconds and only goes a little better in the lobby Value for money good To remember in Zimbabwe in Whats app is blocked throughout the country. Thank you so much! See you soon!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very nice hotel and staff.
Cons: Expensive, casino wasn’t very impressive.
Good 7.9
Pros: Location was superb
Cons: The food could be better but it is a great place to stay in Victoria Falls. I will book again with them.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location. Breakfast was plentiful. Swimming great for kids.
Cons: Housekeeping average. No tissues in room and only 2 towels initially for the 4 of us. Had to ask 3 times to get. Only one roll of toilet paper!
Good 7.5
Pros: Food was good and rooms were clean too.
Cons: Accounts staff is very disorganised or incompitent so to speak,l cleared my bill before my parents travelled and actually cleared with Stella Zvidi, only to be embrassed on checking out that there were oustanding payments....they had to wait for more than an hour for clearance. To make it worse they were made to top up on drinks which l had paid for more than a month in advance. Accounts need to put all customer files in order than to inconvinience guests its very embassing.
Good 7.5
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Air conditioning flooded one of our rooms
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast options and location. The check-in staff.
Cons: The quality of the room, it was VERY tired and old fashioned. The furniture was broken or badly scuffed. The room's air conditioning switched off when your took your room key out and locked up! The poor attention by the outside restaurant staff, they walked past and left rubbish on the ground around the tables. This was made worse by the fact that they were not busy!

Good 6.0
Pros: It was well located and easy to get around. The staff always tried to help us when we needed it.
Cons: The credit card doesn't work, and we had to pay in cash (not knowing this in advance). By the way, everyone in the region uses US dollars, but they never have change. Breakfast costs $5, but I don't know if it's worth it. For our taste, the juice was too artificial, the only coffee option was a sachet, and the hot water container came out with dirty water (probably iron).
Excellent 9.6
Really good value for the money and within walking distance of the falls and some good restaurants
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Check in done perfectly an the vehicle was safely kept. we also found clean rooms and clean bedding. our request for a room with two single beds was honored as well, which made our stay comfortable.
Cons: The toilets were wrongly positioned, because there are no windows at the toilet for most of the rooms. There should be air circulation in the bath rooms. unfortunately it may cost a fortune to renovate the rooms to reposition the toilets.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is just perfect walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful to plan your activities.
Cons: The room is pretty small and the bed not so big.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Aircon and the cleanliness of the rooms
Cons: Fairly good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel was clean and within walking distance of most activities
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The AC, pool and location
Cons: No fridge in the room and very limited wifi..500mb not adequate especially for only 1 device.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cleanness and the service
Cons: The rooms where clean all. Was just nice
Excellent 8.8
Taking into consideration the general hotel rates in Victoria Falls, this hotel is a great option if what you are looking for is a comfortable room at a fair price. Rooms have air conditioner and the hotel is located in the nearest point to walk to the falls. There’s breakfast available at the hotel (at a fair price) and 50mts away is the Elephant Walk where you can find Dean’s and have a gourmet breakfast in a nice environment. I would definitely recommend N1 to friends.
Excellent 8.0
Great location friendly staff and clean rooms but for $75 a night with no breakfast is a lot
Excellent 8.5
The hotel has nothing to highlight, but meets all the minimum requirements for those who want a short stay at Victoria Falls at a great price. The rooms are small, but everything is clean and works well. It is very well located, you can walk to the park of the Falls, restaurants, and the mini town center. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much! See you all soon guys! Keep up the good work!
Good 7.9

Excellent 9.4

Excellent 8.5
A view to behold. Highly recommend lunch on the terrace, excellent quality, served with a smile & a great friendly environment. Prices quite reasonable. Wanted to stay but booked out. Lots of character, the shop in the lobby is a shopping dream, so many beautiful things. If your looking for homey this is not for you. If you like style, atmosphere & character this IS the place for you. The room was very nice with a view of the Falls. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is great for either walking to the falls or walking to the many shops and vendors in town. The buffet breakfast had a large selection to choose from and the hotel has many cool places to sit and relax.
Excellent 10.0
Stayed in the stable block in large 4 poster suite. Staff friendly. Champagne and canapé at 6 pm just lovely. Ideal rooms for a stroll across the lawn to the Vic Falls National Park entrance. Still costs US$30 each to go in and see the falls though. Broken concrete path a trip hazard on way to the breakfast. Terrace restaurant good value but the Jungle Junction buffet and show really wasn’t at US$37 each. Warhogs graze the lawns. Beautiful historic luxury hotel. Very elegant in the heart of Victoria falls great food and drinks and second to none service.. the gardens are wow with a wow view of the famous bridge. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. Definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Also, it's a plus that you can walk to Victoria Falls in 10 minutes.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Excellent location! There is a footpath from the back of the hotel grounds that leads to the entrance of the falls. The hotel guard escorts you on the 5 minute walk. Tipping him a few dollars is cheaper than taking the 2 minute taxi ride that will cost you $5, minimum. Along the path is also the Look out cafe, a place that serves food and drinks, but is also the base of the zipline and gorge swing. The food at hotel was excellent, and the formal dining room was relatively cheap with the tasting menu at $45. The service all around was very good.
Cons: The rooms need renovations, especially the bathrooms.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: The setting is remote but beautiful overlooking a gorge. John and staff were great and the chefs prepared delicious meals. This is a very authentic experience for adventurous travelers.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The location is fabulous, perched as it is on the edge of the Zambezi Gorge. If you like isolation, atmosphere and great accommodation and food this is for you. Meals good with view overlooking the gorge. Room was bush camp style but with large bed room, mosquito netting over double bed, separate bathroom and enclosed garden courtyard. Staff really helpful and courteous Do take the escorted walk along the top of the gorge and also the rather steep descent /ascent to the river
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Fantastic location to get away from it all and unwind True African Nature experience Very good staff Great birding spot - although it was drier than expected we very happy with what we set out to find Nice to meet and see owners involved
Good 7.5
Pros: Everything was great, service was good, and I had a great time and experience, apart from the very small parts that I didn't liked.
Cons: Communication between staff and customer could be clearer. For eg, the airport shuttle service could be stated more clearly that it comes with an extra charge, and after booking is made and payment collected, they should send a note stating that everything is confirmed (since I received a note stating that Taita will send me a confirmation) but I had to follow up with Taita myself to ask them if my booking is confirmed. They could be more clear and swift on that part.

Pros: The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly but could use more reception training.
Cons: The room was very nice however the amenities did not match the room Also unfortunately, it was located next to the lobby and was very noisy! I heard the reception phone ring constantly and people talking as if they were in my room. The mini bar was empty. For a luxury hotel/ room it should offer a variety of drinks IN the room.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful room! Very relaxed location.
Cons: Everything. The staff was also very helpful and nice.
