Excellent 10.0
In all respects a true 5 star hotel - and without doubt the best hotel in Laos!
Excellent 10.0
The service is amazing. The rooms are very relaxing, the smell of their care products is divine. The facilities are top notch; the infinite pool, the sauna, the Jacuzzi the restaurants, the amazing buffet, the outdoor cozy bar. Everything is perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Simply said, there is no other substitute in the area. I tried them all, but this is the right one!
Good 7.0
Pros: We have stayed in a lot over the last two years, we call it luxury in Laos, we love the pool and the staff. We will stay again!
Cons: The hotel didn’t seem the same as our other stays, I understand that because of COVID some things are limited but there were ants in our bed and a bad sewer smell from our shower. We’d already ordered room service when we realised this so we didn’t ask to move. The limited menu is also off putting but I understand it’s because of staff shortage and COVID. We’ll definitely return when things return to normal hopefully!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice pool with a great pool bar and restaurant. Room was large, of top quality even among 5-star Asian hotels. Marvelous breakfast. The tasting menu in hotel restaurant is highly recommended. Tasty, great experiece and unexeptional value for money. Serving of the desert was like a piece of art.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very prompt and polite.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 9.2
The Salana was my home away from home during my on-off one-month business trip in Vientianne. The staff was lovely, the accommodation was great, location very convenient and best of all the food (breakfast, room service) was AMAZING. Highly recommend!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: great room
Cons: nothing!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was very convenient and we could walk around the old part of town. Staff were welcoming, English speaking and helpful. Very attentive to hygiene at reception and restaurant. Breakfast was varied, fresh and presented nicely. The restaurant was attractive and the food excellent. The room was modern, well decorated and comfortable, though a little cluttered.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cute interior! The restaurant is good and staff are very kind😊
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff are very accommodating and breakfast always had a good variety.
Cons: Sometimes mosquitos get in the rooms and disturb your sleep.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The hotel is clean. Facilities are good and bed is comfortable. Hotel has excellent breakfast menu.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
The room was open and comfortable with an extend of pillow types. The breakfast was deluxe with specialty coffee included. The egg station was of a very high standard and the benefit in each range great. I would unquestionably remain here once more. The room wifi is decent speed and there was moreover numerous satellite tv channels accessible. Within the rooms, they moreover give valuable multi point adaptors additionally stationery things. This hotel could be a covered up jewel in Vientiane and so are their wonderful staff. The one factor that sets this place apart are their staff. Front desk, bellboy and housekeeping were all helpful, friendly and informative.
Excellent 10.0
The receptionist at this hotel is very nice. There are very polite employees here. The rooms in the hotel are medium in size with built-in fixtures and furniture. In addition, there are good lighting equipment in the bathroom. The breakfast offered at this hotel has many options. The breakfast area is located in the corner of the hotel and offers coffee, snacks and drinks. Staying here, it is worthwhile to enjoy it at night. You can also see a lot of tourists walking on the street. One of the things missing from this hotel is the swimming pool.
Excellent 8.5
The location is great, just a few minutes away from the riverside and night market. The hotel is beautifully decorated with traditional arts and crafts, so it's very soothing and relaxing. Also gives you legitimate Laos vibe. The staff are welcoming, courteous, helpful, and genuine. Our room came with a complimentary fruit basket and a chocolate snack. The breakfast is delicious and is worth its high price. They offered a wide spread of choices which all looked so delicious. My only suggestion for improvement is maybe the hotel should provide better quality toiletries.  Will still recommend and come back, for sure.
Excellent 10.0
I wish I may have remained longer than the one night I went through here en course to another portion of Laos. The lodging is exquisite and my room was comfortable and wonderful, with a see of the adjacent sanctuary. The breakfast buffet was top notch and had a great grouping of choices. The area was too helpful. The highlight, in any case, was the great benefit I gotten from the staff, especially Joiy and Pou. I had a few extraordinary demands — without having prompted them in progress — and they were completely breathtaking. They made everything simple and were exceptionally affable, kind and proficient. I certainly prescribe this lodging.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, friendly staff.
Cons: Liked it all.
Excellent 10.0
This is a beautiful well-appointed boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Walking distance to market and decent stroll to some of the other sights in Vientiane. The service of the hotel was excellent, staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The room was generously sized and had a balcony that ran round two sides. We were very pleased to find a kitchenette area in one corner of the room. Breakfast included a choice of western and Lao dishes, either from the buffet or ordered off the menu which are all delightful. This is really a very impressive place.
Excellent 10.0
Been to the Salana Boutique Hotel a few years ago and just spent 9 nights in the Hotel again. Still love it. Great and friendly service and most of all the already good service even improved since my last visit. The staff came a long way with their English language skills and it is a real pleasure to interact with them now, from the reception to the restaurant all the way to the service staff if something is not ok in your room. The breakfast is freshly prepared (eggs and more) and there is a good selection of buffet choices. Since I spent my birthday at the hotel, I was really surprised to see that the hotel staff took notice and came to present me a cake during breakfast. Outstanding. Only happened to me once in my many hotel visits around the world. The rooms are great, comfortable beds. Nice and clean bathroom and quiet nights! Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is an excellent hotel and very well located. Staff were super helpful
Cons: Pillows too soft
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The hotel is really nice and comfortable
Cons: Wifi was slow and didn't really work on my room. Expensive for Vientiane
Good 7.1
Pros: No problems, no thrills.

Good 6.0
Pros: Large rooms, nice shower, great quiet hidden location, nice to chill by the pool in the garden area.
Cons: No kettle, refrigerator not working, TV channels very bad reception, no offer of room cleaning throughout 3 day stay.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Generally other services were ok.
Cons: I booked thru Booking.com......it said price included breakfast....but hotel did not provide bfast. This is not good on Booking.com....it is like a lie to get customers to book using their app. I did not get a reasonable discount from the hotel for not providing bfast. The hotel did not provide daily cleaning services like making the bed, cleaning the toilet, changing towel, clearing rubbish.....
Poor 1.0
Cons: Shower completely usable. Shower head stuck. Sink clogged. Old paint on wall coming off. Toilet door can't be closed. Horrible
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The pool is in good condition. The ambiance around the pool is lovely and shady. Avoid 405 as it has no view at all whereas all the others look into the pool area. The hotel location is OK - not tourist central but plenty of good restaurants in the area. Most of which seem to be surviving the Covid disaster.
Good 7.9
Pros: Staff were great and very helpful. It had a pool. Close to most of the historic sights and Vientiane night market. Most within walking distance. Great restaurants and coffee shops close by.
Cons: Noisy when people climb the stairs and talk in the passages. The door has a glass panel so it is extremely light inside the room at night from the lights in the passage. They should have a blackout curtain / screen on the door.
Excellent 10.0
Beautiful pool area for hanging out on a hot day. Breakfast is great (will even make omelettes to order) and desk staff very helpful with suggestions and organizing rides, tours and restaurant. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and bathrooms are modern. We were in a 'family' room with one large bed with twins on either side. Perfect for a family of 4.
Mediocre 3.2
Choked sink Broken shower head Flashing table lamp (broken bulbs) Main door lock have security concerns. Good point, relatively clean Normal breakfast, which I didn't eat Surrounding of facilities in hotel looks decent.
Excellent 8.4
Rooms ok for the price. Nice pool. Breakfast quite adequate. In central city area. Helpful staff
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The management and the staff make you feel so welcome the first minute you walk in.Large smile from everyone. I spent 8 nights there and it was enjoyable stay. The location is very central. The hotel itself is very well look after ,comfortable bed and very clean and big bedroom. The swimming area is very relaxing and the water very clean. The breakfast is ample and very good. Nice coffee. Very good value for money. Feel like home very quickly. I would like to thanks all the staff and the manager Thuyen and Nhung for there extreme kindness and caring . .I shall look forward to stay there again.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Okay 5.6
Great location. Poor services by not providing box breakfast when promised. Decor was poor for price and pool was too cold to be comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Great staff, willing to do anything for you. Let us join in on there New Year’s Eve dinner. Wonderful pool, great breakfast options, close to everything
Good 6.0
Staff is very friendly. This is the only plus point I have. Very disappointed with the facilities. Firstly, the front door still has large visible gaps after closing. Secondly, we were attacked my mosquitoes for the entire night. Lastly, what we cannot accept is that water supply was on and off intermittently! Was showering and water supply was cut off! Throughout the day, water supply was unstable. Very disappointed!!
Excellent 10.0
Very friendly and helpful staff, Peter was amazing !!!
Excellent 9.6
The hotel is situated in a place where there are lots of establishments nearby (restaurants, bars, spa and convenient store) though it is a bit far from the night market (around 1 km). The room they provided us I could say needs fixing as the door in the bathroom is partly damage (lock not working). The pool is very cold (no hot water) so it is recommended that you swim when the weather is very hot. The hotel crews were very helpful and accommodating to our requests especially Peter who speaks very good english. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Breakfast COULD be more fresch. Reception people good service and speak good english. Little dangerous go upp end down the poolstep and slippery round the pool.
Excellent 9.2
It is my first trip to Vientiane and I happy to stay at VGV hotel. Pros: Garden and swimming pool are clean, a lot of choices for breakfast with both asia and western dishes. Walking distance to night market, few temples, and a good massage shop (1 minute walk). Most of staff are Vietnamese and they are very helpful and friendly. Cons: lack of lights in room. I will definitely stay this hotel in my next Vientiane.
Good 7.9
Pros: I liked the swimming pool and the friendliness of the staff. Oerpriced.
Cons: My room smelled of sewerage. Breakfast very basic. Generally hotel is overpriced.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Location was good. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was not ok. Noisy rooms. Payment was not ok. They charged an extra commission when paying with a credit card. This was not mentioned in the payment conditions.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: What a gem! The hotel was amazing! Super comfy/spacious rooms and it had the most friendly staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Lovely clean rooms, big bathroom, pool was fantastic.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Good breakfast and coffee. Very friendly staff. Very nice clean rooms.
Cons: Nothing particular
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was excellent, a few steps to main street with cafes & restaurants. Temples also just down the road. Hotel itself very nice with lots of old world charm.
Cons: Breakfast had very little options for vegetarian/vegan.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect variety of breakfast choices, even the vegetarian dish. Nice space and the decoration of restaurant. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Cons: Satisfied already
Excellent 8.4
Close to shops and sights. Could be more competitive price-wise
Excellent 10.0
A great place to stay in Vientiane, It was a great location great helpful staff and although I only had breakfast the food I ate was very good
Excellent 9.6
positiv.: Lage, Sauberkeit, Atmosphäre negativ.: Dusche Wanne Kombination im Bad
Excellent 10.0
We were here for the weekend... loved the property, nice botique touches and location is everything! :) The staff were very courteous and the hospitality was top of the line !!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic place, perfectly located in the centre of the city and close to the Mekong River. Exceptional facilities, not to forget the tremendously friendly, efficient and helpful staff. It was my second stay here, and it was even better than I could remember (5 years ago).
Excellent 8.4
This Hotel is at great Location and Value for money. Room was clean and enjoyed the Breakfast too.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything is excellent.
Excellent 9.2
The hotel is conveniently situated in the city centre where the Mekong River is a mere 5 minute walk. There are also lots of eateries within the vicinity, thus travelling is easy around the place. The hotel staff are very friendly too and the room is very spacious. We are very happy that the hotel actually took in our request to get an inter-connecting rooms for my friends and I; the service is superb!
Excellent 9.6
On arrival at the hotel we were checked in quickly. Once we had unpacked we realised that there was no safe in the room. We checked the website and there should be a safe. We contacted the receptionist and she discovered that the safe had been sent for repair. We said that apart from an airline snack we had not eaten all day and we needed to find a restaurant , it was 21:00 but we did not want to carry all of our valuables (passports, SLR camera, kindles, flight booking documents etc) with us. We booked a premium double room 59 m sq for 4 nights were offered two alternative rooms both were smaller in size and without a balcony. Effectively we were offered a downgrade without a refund. After an hour we were starting to loose it. Finally one of the male staff who had been helping us managed to unbolt a safe from an unoccupied room and placed it in our original room. In summary this is a lovely hotel with great staff but the management are slightly disorganised.
Excellent 10.0
I stayed there for only 1 night. I arrived the hotel quite early and they have prepared my room for me and allow me to do early check in without extra charge. The room is spacious and very clean. The bed are also very comfortable. There are number of restaurants, cafes around the area. Their breakfast is what amazed me the most . excellent staff there. i will be more than happy to stay here for my next tip.
Excellent 8.8
Very nice city hotel, friendly personnel, big and very comfortable rooms, perfect breakfast and good location for starting sightseeing and/or evening. I will be happy to come back again...
Excellent 10.0
We reserved 3 rooms all on the forth floor. The rooms were beautiful almost exactly as the website. The staff is top notch! Seriously, the staff and the quality of service I would definitely recommend to others. Loved everything about this hotel.
Good 7.1
Pros: The location
Cons: 1) No cars are standing by 2) the safety box is to open and to close with the credit card. Even the credit card was informed to the front desk at the check-in. It is not safe to use the safety box
Excellent 10.0
Outstandingly well appointed room. Colonial style enhancements. Extraordinary air conditioning very comfortable. Inviting and productive staff. Super breakfast, with wide choices. Staff welcomed us with a exquisite smile. Great area. Each convenience accessible. Breakfast was in a lovely room and requesting off the menu was the most excellent option. You had to ask for coffee. All in all a great remain with most places walk-able from there. The area permitted us to explore numerous parts of the city on foot counting the river area, and we could have easily taken a tuk tuk to further destinations. There are convenience stores across the road and many restaurants in the area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: helpful staff great location
Cons: couldn`t fault
Excellent 10.0
We delighted in out remain massively. The lodging is close inside some of pieces to the awesome eateries. There are a part of sanctuaries and other locales inside a reasonably brief strolling remove. Breakfast and air terminal exchanges were included in my room rate. The breakfast was great. It was a reasonably better than average buffet and you'll arrange some Western and Asian things off a menu. The staff knew enough English to assist with hospitality-related issues well. There are a few social contrasts you have got to induce utilized to, but we found the staff accommodating and inviting. Air terminal exchange was consistent. We paid a really moo rate, so our room did not have a extraordinary see. On the off chance that you need a overhang, pay more! Our room was pleasant and quiet. We rested unequivocally and were woken by sunshine, not clamor. No issues or issues with charging. By and large, one of the superior inns I've been to in Asia, and when I'm back, this is often where I'll remain.
Good 7.5
Pros: Staff was amazing, only reason I kept the Reservation.
Cons: Prices similar to Crown Plaza. I think"Boutique" is meant as "Antique".. Hotel Room facing construction site, so the idea of a romantic balcony view was quickly gone..
Excellent 10.0
The rooms are expansive (head rooms are exceptionally expansive, helpful for those with a parcel of stuff), exceptionally clean, outfitted in a kind of colonial fashion (not beyond any doubt the 'antique' phones in plastic and keys are colonial fashion, or which colonial time is implied). My fundamental complain is that, like in as well numerous inns, the 'desk' isn't useful. A ordinary estimate individual cannot sit with his knees beneath the work area; other than it is as well contract; here at slightest there was a few light, in spite of the fact that not sufficient. An lodging of this category and rooms of this estimate ought to have a genuine work area and a utilitarian situate. The benefit is exceptionally great and the staff made efforts to satisfy what were likely rare demands; a few would good thing about extra dialect preparing. The buffet breakfast incorporates a sensible assortment (for an inn of this little estimate), a great quality and constant benefit. The Dhavara is well found for going out for supper, with a huge number of nourishment places around.
Excellent 9.7
This lodging features a exceptionally inviting and wonderful campaign. Huge, flawless and pleasantly designated rooms. The staff from the front work area, to security, to the breakfast range, to the Common Director, were all exceptionally accommodating, proficient and kind. We particularly acknowledged the warmth and offer assistance of the individuals at the front work area. This inn is exceptionally centrally found, in differentiate to the modern Rashmi's which is 10-15 minutes absent from town. We were exceptionally cheerful with this inn, and would certainly remain here again.
Excellent 10.0
The inn contains a free car benefit from and to the air terminal. You're met with a comfortable car and I brought to this fantastic lodging. The rooms are spectacular, spotlessly clean, huge comfortable beds, parcels of light. The lavatory features an extraordinary shower with parcels of weight and hot water. There are 4 bottles of water per day cleared out for your use. The staff is caring and proficient. Breakfast is incredible. And best of all it is as it were a couple of steps absent from most of the major sights and eateries. I provide this with my most noteworthy suggestion.
Excellent 8.5
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, which has a stylish colonial feel to it. It is situated in the heart of the old town. It is walking distance to plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, night market, river, etc. The room is spacious and neat. I like unique interiors of the room. They have decorated the rooms to suit the style of the building and it is beautifully done. The staff are friendly, helpful, and approachable. The hotel offers free transport to and from the airport so it's best to disclose your flight details to them. My only comment is that staff can communicate with limited English so it's best to have a translating app to avoid getting lost in translation.
Excellent 10.0
Amazing area. Wonderful staff. Bed was comfy and housekeeping was day by day. Free air terminal pickup and drop off was a reward. My room had a overhang which was incredible. Unquestionably remaining here once more following time I’m in town. Exquisite inn, rooms were clean and roomy, beds exceptionally comfortable. Exquisite eatery- breakfast was cooked new concurring to your needs. Staff were dazzling and exceptionally supportive. Had a room with overhang on 5th floor neglecting city. Awesome region to remain, exceptionally central and close waterway.
Excellent 10.0
I can't find enough words to describe how amazing this hotel is. With its luxurious touch and superb restaurants that serves wonderful and delightful breakfast. This have elegant rooms with comfortable beds to relax. It is also very clean and spotless. The bathroom has a great shower with lots of pressure and hot water. Big thanks to all the attentive and efficient staff they have. I must say that they are a big part of our very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this unique beautifully detailed stunning property.
Excellent 10.0
Centrally located with lots of top rated restaurants in walking distance and 10-15 min tuk tuk ride to city's main tourist sites. This is a great colonial style hotel, very clean, spacious rooms, good service, breakfast up to par to 4* rating. We stayed in a Deluxe room, even though we booked a 'city view' room we got checked into a room without a balcony facing the back yard, next morning asked for a room with a balcony facing the street, got switched immediately. An old building is being torn down in front of the hotel, also there's an ongoing construction down the street, so it did get a bit noisy in the morning, although worth mentioning, these noise sources will pass, the street itself is quite. All in all happy with our choice, good value for money, would stay again. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 8.0
I always stay here, they remember me, good staff, clean and expat TV close to good cafes
Excellent 8.0
I stay at Ibis when I am in Vientienne. There are lots of cheaper places to stay but I like ibis for the cleanliness, the expat TV CNN and the staff is always nice.
Good 6.0
Pros: Good and tasty.
Cons: Regarding to air-condition, it has been set fan mode, not cooling mode. Air condition should check before, and set cooling mode.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Normally you know exactly what you will get in an Ibishotel, but this time we got more! The staff is sooo friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English. It was nice to see that regular guests received personal treatment, but also for us a lot of effort was made to make it to our liking. The room was excellent: a soft and very comfy matrass, a clean and well-appointed room, an excellent bathroom with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was not included and 10 $ per person is hearty. So we only had breakfast there 1 morning. Breakfast is a combination of a breakfast buffet with personal service, with very high-quality products and a wide choice. We will certainly stay here again the next time we are in Vientiane.
Cons: Just perfect.
Good 6.0
Pros: Wonderful Staff and Location
Cons: Very expensive for Vientiane. Better Hotels are half the price.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is perfect. It is a stone throw away from the night market.
Cons: The room is a little small, furnishing dated.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: service
Cons: non
Excellent 10.0
The hotel has a charming small bar and coffee shop within the ground floor, just after leaving the front desk. The rooms were a little small but had everything you’d anticipate, clean, well kept up washroom, room service and simple furniture. Breakfast was included and had a great run of western and basic local Laos noodles. Area is central and simple to walk to the markets area and Mekong river. The map that the hotel have is exceptionally great and makes getting around simple, I walked all over the area. A great location with entertainment and restaurants nearby.
Excellent 10.0
First time at an Ibis and was pleasantly surprised, it exceeded my expectations. The room was modern, bright, quiet, bed very comfortable, TV and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to a number of tourist sites, the old town, restaurants and the night market. The map that the hotel have been very good and makes getting around easy, I walked everywhere. I must also mention the staff, always friendly, helpful and smiling, excellent. If you do want to take the airport shuttle bus, it stops across the road at the Nam Phu stop. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent central location, with the Night Market just around the corner, and most of the best bars and restaurants in the riverside area within a 5 or 10-minute walk. Very comfortable bed. TV has a few English channels, and the wi-fi works quite well. You can refill water bottles from a dispenser in the lobby (unfortunately, still quite rare in this country). 'Free breakfast' options are limited and fairly basic - but OK.
Cons: Rooms at the front with a street view are probably a little noisy. All other rooms only have a window facing the wall of the building next door a few centimetres away, and thus get almost no natural light - a bit gloomy and claustrophic. At least this makes the interior rooms, on the whole, very quiet; the only noise issue I encountered was a problem overflow pipe that created an almost continual sound of running water in the gap between the two buildings. There was only a - rather uncomfortable! - bench seat for the desk, which made working on my computer rather difficult.
Good 7.0
Pros: very clean
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly staff, nice room, simple but tasty breakfast
Cons: Noisy street outside, breakfast could not be served early
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great, very comfortable and modern, very clean and the staff was helpful. Definitely pick this for Vientiane, the value for money is great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location. Clean with good a/c and hot shower. Great breakfast. Great value. Helpful staff.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved it! Shady courtyard with a pool, there's a place to hide from the sun in the midday. Perfect cuisine. The well-groomed building, the carefully scrubbed floors gave us a special pleasure. Besides, I would like to mention the manager of the hotel, we watched him teaching the staff with great pleasure.
Cons: Absolutely microscopic size of the bath robes... I'm not too fat, but the robe edges don't fit together :)
Good 7.0
Pros: The building itself is very nice and well maintained. The garden and the pool really classic, very nice. Location is central.
Cons: The rooms smell damp, in my opinion caused by the large cabinets which house minbar etc. Breakfast pretty simple for such a hotel, not really exciting, selection of fruits rather limited, juices not fresh. Staff is helpful and friendly, but could certainly improve a bit their English
Good 7.9
Pros: The retro feel and classy charm. The staff were impeccably polite and the service was great
Cons: Little to criticize
Excellent 8.8
Renovated French colonial hotel with great French charm. Not a party hotel and maybe not a business hotel but ideally located for touring Vientiane as most sights are within walking distance. Good bar and restaurant in-house and a nice pool in the garden. They told me there is also a gym! Breakfast buffet was average in terms of selection but coffee was acceptable. Bed was comfortable. TV maybe too small but reasonable selection of channels/languages.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Located in the center of Vientiane, this old colonial style hotel has everything to offer if you want to rest and enjoy the city life of Vientiane. The pool will make you forget you’re in a capital and the menu - food is excellent!
Good 6.7
Pros: Ambience and staff
Cons: Very dim lights . Food and drinks are very expensive . Shower is not good as hot water is dangerously hot and can scald easily. Lot of mosquitoes in property . swimming pool is not heated pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed here for 8N. Kids love the beautiful swimming pool.. excellent dining.. the most friendly and helpful staffs, everyone! Thanks!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff are a highlight of the property - particularly impressive given there is little competition at the higher end of the market in Vientiane compared to some of the other destinations in the region. Location is excellent, making most of the sightseeing in Vientiane walkable if you choose to do so.
Excellent 8.0
The hotel itself is awesome However there are lots of mosquitoes
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It is authentic and a true boutique experience, where they try extra hard at everything they do.
Cons: Room a little dark . Would benefit from better lighting.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Personnel very attentive and always ready to help. Excellent breakfast and very good restaurant with both options western and local. Room not too big but will all required comforts. Accepted our request of late check-our without extra charge. We will come back in our next stop in Vientiane
Excellent 10.0
The stylistic layout of the hotel is dazzling. Each piece of furniture looks wonderful and carefully chosen to create the full vibe of the hotel brilliant. The nourishment is fabulous, but over all the staff are really extraordinary. Nothing is beyond them and each work is carried out with a grin. The staff were all exceptionally proficient, smart, inviting, neighborly and managed with all our inquiries and needs. The hotel is centrally found, so much of interest within the city can be gone by on foot, which may be a plus. T he room was well named and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was good in the room and around the hotel.
Excellent 8.5
Very relaxing stay for our two nights in Vientiane, The room was big although there wasn't much of a view. The style of the hotel is french colonial although obviously renovated, Very nice swimming pool and good food. Staff attentive. The room key works the electricity which could be problem if you wish to charge up devices while you are out but the staff will supply an empty key card so all was well.
Excellent 10.0
The property is simply great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. During a strong rain in April and a subsequent power outage, water came into our room. We notified the front desk and immediately got a different room (upgrade to a suite) and a complimentary drink. The manager was very dedicated to resolving the situation quickly. The pool is very nice and the breakfast is delicious. Rooms are furnished in a very stylish / French manner and everything fits together. The gym is good, but when we tried the AC did not work well. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 8.5
Set in a beautiful colonial building this is a true luxury and style and experience. Beautiful pool, too. Service is very friendly. Breakfast a bit simple for the general five star impression and for the local price level a bit on the expensive side, but still, I would always go back to this wonderful, historical luxury environment again. Excellent 10.0
Was welcomed with drinks and leis made from Dok Champa flowers or as we know them Frangipanis. The hotel was originally built in 1930 and was restored in the late nineties to its original splendor. It is a landmark colonial Hotel of Vientiane and lives up to the description given by the hotel itself of a sophisticated blend of modern comfort and timeless elegance. The staff are friendly, the rooms elegant and the facilities great. We had a beautiful dinner outside under the stars and fairy lights around the pool. The food was lovely, the staff attentive and the ambiance just delightful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent service and friendly staff. Great food. Very nice, classic feel to the place with a wonderful garden and pool.

Good 6.0
To far from City
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Stayed for one night only which we were bummed about as there was a nice pool area to chill out in. Staff are nice and friendly. Shuttle bus to town is handy but the times could be improved. Comfy bed and nice breakfast too. Free shuttle to airport was super bonus
Good 6.3
Pros: The rooms were clean and they offered a western or asian breakfast. The noodle soup was excellent.
Cons: As mentioned by others, there is an open karaoke bar directly near the hotel that is hopping till midnight (every night it seems.)You definitely hear the bass. We were tired enough each night that we slept well enough. The one thing that was annoying was the shower pressure. It was a trickle and nothing more. Also, they offer airport pickup but it’s only free till 6:30 pm. Afterwards you have to pay...I picked this hotel because I thought they had a free pickup but our flight got in at 8 pm so that was an extra charge. It just didn’t feel like a good value for you money all in all.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Shuttle bus 👍 Airport pick up drop off and daily drop and pick up to town! Local bar had live music till 1130 pm a plus for us as we like to go out bit noisy for early sleepers 🙄
Cons: Not near enough to centre! The place could be cleaner!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Colonial building with character. Good swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Cons: Our room was smelt. The balcony was dirty, small and looked over a dirty alleyway.
Good 7.9
Pros: The swimming pool
Cons: The location too far from the city Center
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Swimming pool good and breakfast
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The property was quirky with lots of interesting art and decoration. Pool area was lovely and felt tranquil in the middle of the city. Good sized room. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport which was much appreciated.
Cons: The stairs and hallway were covered with a stained and dirty carpet which didn’t fit with the rest of the property.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is located a bit outside of the city which I liked. In general it is a nice boutique hotel, the staff was very friendly and discreet. When needed, internet connection was good. After all I had no reason to complain at all.
Okay 5.7
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The hotel was very near the airport, which suited me, but not the town. There was a massage shop on site and a pool, which looked clean enough.
Cons: The hotel in general is basic, and I do feel it is overpriced, especially for Laos. The staff barely spoke a word of english. They were friendly, but very slow and difficult to find at times. The internet service was unreliable, but the worst thing was that the electricity cut out completely half way through the day. No air-con or fans were working, and the toilet didn't even flush. The staff had no idea when they would be reconnected. I had no option but to leave and decided to go to the airport early, which was hot and turned out not to have wifi either. Not a lot of fun.

Excellent 10.0
nice and clear loft
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff, the atmosphere of the room. Everything!
Good 6.0
Pros: Friendly staffs, clean rooms.
Cons: They used to serve good breakfast. Now their food and also breakfast is not up the standard I have experienced earlier.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We stayed here 2 nights, arrived earlier than our check in and they offered us complimentary breakfast, which I thought was very nice of the front desk. We went to Vientiane in an over night train, so that was really thoughtful of them. The staff is was super friendly, greets you every time you walk pass them. Rooms were nice and clean, view was nice too.
Excellent 10.0
The staff is really truly nice, that's the finest point for me. The staff talked exceptionally great English and nothing at all was as well much inconvenience. Breakfast was great and a run of hot and cold foods were served. The breakfast is exceptionally great, a lot of choice. There's a lovely decent swimming pool and exercise center. Pool was great given the heat at this time of year and the wireless worked well within the room and the common areas. The room had all the advanced amenities one would require. It was clean, air conditioned, hot water, international TV and Wi Fi. This modern hotel offers the very best amenities
Excellent 8.5
This is a very hip and modern boutique hotel that is conveniently situated between the airport and city centre. We loved that it's not in the city because it kept the serenity yet it was close enough to go to the happenings. They also offer bicycles to use free of charge to get around town. Room was clean and comfortable (although bathroom could benefit with few hooks as it's nowhere to hang things). Staff were one of the best, their manager is extremely helpful and accommodating, defnitely the hotel's asset. Breakfast could improve... I think the choices are a bit limited. Other than that this hotel is perfect.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff and Manager were very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Pool and exercise room were nice. We will continue coming here.
Cons: Not many restaurants close but hotel has restaurant as does another place two doors down the road.
Excellent 10.0
Let me start at the end. We booked an extra night, but chose the wrong date; the hotel manager credited the extra stay to us when he didn't have to. When we needed something the hotel does not offer regularly, the manager and his staff accommodated us. For example, we had two guests use the pool and gym facilities with us at no charge. We were surprised the manager was 'on call' 24 hours, and happy that the staff helped us get to the airport on their shuttle service; they even picked us up on our return flight. Actually, we plan on continuing our stay with the hotel for the next few days. The staff and manager are kind hearten and work hard to please. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great staff; good rooms; exercise room good; good breakfast; classy place to stay.
Cons: Must use tuk tuk tuks to get to downtown restaurants and shopping, 15-20 minutes away once price negotiated.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff very friendly! Nice, clean modern facilities. Good pool and exercise room.
Cons: Location a bit far from city center. Restaurant could be set up in quieter location on second floor for dinner rather than having to eat in basement club with loud music.

Good price & great hotel staff
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good location, very clean good facilities. If you are traveling with family this is the best choice in VTE!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The size of the room
Cons: Too far away from the city centre
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Most all of it.
Cons: Mosquitoes in the hallway at night. Hall lights + open air setup meant at least a few mosquitoes sneaking into my room if I came back in the evening. Main road can also be a bit of a hassle to cross during "rush" hour. View was sub par. But most buildings in VTE aren't tall enough to have good views.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Tennis court, Fitness 24hrs and big swimming pool. Room is clean and spacious. Cross the road 500 m. away to the border of Mae Kong River to see the sunset. That area has plenty of local seafood & local food including the western food both outdor and indoor venues.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It worth to stay for long time
Cons: Too many mosquitos around, but can ask from the staff to spray aerosol
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Security, Services, Location
Cons: Poor Breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice bed, nice kitchen, good gym and staff friendly
Cons: Need to work on the breakfast, choice and Quality

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It's my second time here, accessible to food shops and even temples, the owner is very kind.. Worth the money paid I would say.. It's standard but worth it.. The owner even sheltered other tourist stranded due to covid19 and couldn't pay anymore.. Thats pretty amazing 😁
Good 7.9
Pros: Good Price-Value, free water
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff are friendly, spoke good english and was very helpful and reasonable. We had to change our plans last minuet after booking tickets to vang vien, and we was offered a free ride to the airport to make up for the change which they didn’t need to do but was really appreciated. There is free water, hot and cold. Lots of space to sit down stairs but our room was specious we didn’t need to use it much. It was pretty clean.
Cons: We really liked this place but the wifi was pants. Couldnt get any work done and had to pay for coffee in shops just to be able to use the internet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Owner is very kind and very considerate during the time of covid.. She is very helpful.. The place is very convenient to go for food and other shop. Beside also has atm machine, and a mini mart.. The place is standard but worth the money paid.
Excellent 8.4
Very good staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but for the price it's some of the best value in Vientiane. Some guests are a bit of weird but if you just come to sleep and not hang out in the hotel it's fine. I think it's just like that in Vientiane in general but this hotel was fine for us!
Good 7.6
The room was clean but the location is about 1 km from the Ta Lat Sao market. I had to rent a bicycle from a nearby shop to go around town.
Mediocre 3.6
Room mediocre wifi’s terrible
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location, not so far from the e night market
Cons: Expensive quality-price

Okay 4.4
We arrived at the hotel and no one was there. The hotel lights were off. Fortunately the guard whose already inside his mosquito net woke up was kind enough to let us in. The guard was so lost. He tried to find keys of any room he can give us. He seems not to know that someone was even coming. The next day was also not a best day since there was no breakfast. I suggest to check the hotels before arrival to check whether their services is still available or not.
Okay 4.8
Disappointed
Excellent 10.0
I had never been to Laos before and this was the hotel that the agency picked as I was on a visa run. I was pleasantly surprised the food was good, the rooftop deck was also great with views of the Meakong river, the staff even though they couldn't speak English tried because I couldn't speak Laos. The room was clean with a good sized bath the balcony overlooked the side view of the Meakong, not such a pleasant view, but not a problem. Outside there were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from I did find a typical Laos place that had spicy noodles which I loved and cheap as well. All in all a fantastic little gem of a place. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff
Good 7.0
Pros: Its location along the Mekong. Close to city and night markets. Comfortable room. Concierge very helpful.
Cons: Low on ingredients for cocktails and staff not sure how to make basic cocktails. Greater range of stock and training of staff required.
Good 7.1
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful Location very nice
Cons: Need some facility like me iron and iron table in the room Double glasses window to prevent noise and silent air condition Information about the country
Good 7.1
Pros: Drop off at the airport
Cons: More English speaking stations on the tv needed
Good 6.7
Cons: Breakfast was marginal.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location with view on riverside. Large rooms with balcony.
Cons: Old hotel. Not worth 50$ a night. Staff were not just unhelpful, they were bordering on hostile. Booked a taxi to play golf, double checked with management but it never came. Nobody prepared to help. You can get much better value downtown with newer hotels.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything
Cons: anything

Good 7.9
Pros: Eggs were good
Cons: Coffee
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location close to night market.
Good 6.7
Pros: Breakfast closes at 9.00 am and I was not inform about that. But the staff still served me some left overs.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Room quality was very good
Cons: The staff tried to make me leave a deposit when I asked to borrow spoons so we could eat our dinner which was the only bad experience we had there
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Complementary services like small quantity of free water.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Love the tub and sauna aspect but wish there was a shower and tub separate
Okay 4.6
Pros: Good points. Very clean, room facilities very good, wifi, tv good, room maids very polite and good at their job.
Cons: Bad points. Front office staff don't speak English, the location is about 20 min walk to bars and restaurants and don't bother booking a room with a balcony. It is unfurnished and enclosed by glass and so is not a balcony but a small extention.
