Pros: Nice and spacious
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location central to wharf shops etc

Excellent 8.0
Pros: I loved the space in the apartment
Cons: didn’t like the car park paid extra to have it but the car spaces are so small and corners tight stayed 6 days and got scratches from other peoples car doors on each side of rental car
Poor 1.0
Pros: absolutely nothing
Cons: the staff were going ride when checking in charged me an extra $350 for nothing.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: spacious
Excellent 9.0
Pros: location was great. close to everything. room was spacious so was pleasant not to be on top of everyone. AC was nice and cold which was a bonus considering the heat
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I like that everything that we needed was already in our room. Utensils, plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, laundry powder, sponge, etc..; all complete. Some of the staffs are very kind and professional.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: different breakfast and friendly staffs
Cons: Different breakfast on weekends
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place to stay. Clean, fast service. I will be back for sure.
Excellent 9.6
Not a bad place, breakfast could be a little better. But they do say lite breakfast I guess.
Excellent 10.0
Awesome place to stay. Thanks Argus!
Good 6.8
Very basic
Excellent 10.0
Fantastic. We have had such a great stay in the Argus. The rooms are extremely clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and lovely. Especially the breakfast lady. The rooms are so cosy we didnt want to leave and the pool is amazing because it is actually nice and cool and deep. The only criticism I can give is that the shower water was not hot enough, it was barely luke warm.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Staff was fine
Cons: We were given a handicapped room which we didn’t want. As a result it was terribly inconvenient
Mediocre 3.5
this hotel seems stuck in the late 70's/80's they desperately need to update their rooms and install new air conditioners

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff were helpful but did not suit me
Cons: Booking not right
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff service was spot on, room was very comfortable and balcony on 19th floor was great with views
Cons: Confusion with Covid check in when attending morning breakfast as guests of the hotel
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The view from our window on the 21st floor of the town and the harbour was great and our room was spacious
Cons: The corridors were very basic and felt like we were in a factory they also had each end open with a steel gate with winds going through the corridors. The swimming pool has very slippery tiles around it and we saw 2 people who fell over.
Poor 1.0
Cons: The room was not as the picture when booking it said that breakfast was included but when we arrived they said this was only continental no mention of this when booking
Excellent 9.6
Very friendly staff
Excellent 10.0
A very easy choice to make
Excellent 8.8
Very disappointed with the bed. Paid over $300 for one night for a queen bed to find out it was two single beds pushed together that kept splitting at the middle throughout the night. Room was great, location was great, but bed was horrible!
Excellent 8.0
Poor value for money. Barren room, arm chairs tired, not easy to relax in them. Not cosy or comfortable for the price. Not even a rug on the tiled floor. Good pillows though!
Good 7.6
We stayed there in the wet season. There was water in the hallway everywhere, which made it very slippery. Especially around the entrance to the building. Apartment was clean and spacious, However decor was very cold. Very limited cutlery/ utensils if you’re intending to cook. Their shampoo & conditioner not to recommend, bring your own. Car park has low clearance- not suitable for 4wd with roof racks. Close to everything & walking distance to waterfront.
Excellent 8.0
The pool chairs and loungers are made with a metal strip on the edge. Be careful not to get burned when the sun has been shining on them.
Good 6.4
Stood here for a week with my husband in a one bedroom apartment. The place could of been a bit cleaner (Room needs a new paint job, floors and ceiling, quite dirty and no mop provided), the shower door did not close fully in our room and ground gets very soaked as drain is outside of the shower so need to wash the towels each night (needed to keep asking for laundry detergent becaue of this) after cleaning/drying the floors and dishes a bit dirty but washed them . Favourite things were that a washer and dryer was available in the bathroom which was convenient, air conditioning was a life saver (main living and bedroom area as well a ceiling fan in bedroom), bed and pillows were comfy which is important, we paid for a balcony sea view so it was a decent view for the location and use of pool to cool down was a bonus. We got complimentary breakfast each morning which was okay... but could of improved with adding some popular breakfast fruits like fresh apples, or bananas, changing it up a bit (what’s on offer always the same) and having one hot item available for rotation. Staff nice. Purchased coffee was barista made and great. Food at restaurant for lunch/dinner pretty decent tasting but did not honour the special of buy an entree and main advertised throughout hotel and get free dessert so did not return for a second dinner and chose to try other restaurants at waterfront which were not that great to be honest, especially for the price. Overall it was okay. I would stay again but if another option was available at same price in city, I would try that to see how it compares.
Excellent 8.0
A great city location with plenty of dining options near by and great views of the Harbor from the balcony.
Excellent 10.0
Rooms were very clean. Modern hotel. Staff were friendly.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: The TV can play your external HDD
Cons: The rooms smelled and the rooms would did not get cleaned properly
Okay 5.7
Pros: Easy to come and go. Check in and check out very efficient. In house car park system works well but at A$15 extra/night is pricey for extended stay.
Cons: Staff organisation for breakfast was very variable, and unable to cope with peak loading, person in charge changing daily and staff lacking clear and consistent direction. Food selection very basic and variety lacking.

Okay 5.0
Cons: Waking up by a cemetery played havoc with my dreams that evening. Never again!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff went above & beyond to help
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great staff and location
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved the bathroom. Best one yet.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This hotel is ideal to await a flight. The room was absolutely adequate and comfortable. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly. The shuttle servive was excellent and on time. Would definitely stay again. Next door is a pub with excellent food.
Cons: As breakfast is room service, it might be a suqeeze to serve berakfast for two.
Excellent 10.0
Bar, bottle shop and gas station next door.. What else foes one need. Its very tidy. I'm going to stay there when I need close to airport accommodation.. Perfect
Good 7.0
Pros: great central location for my business dealings. housekeeping were very thorough and attentive.
Cons: half the machines in the laundry were out of order. Having to use keys for the door made it very clunky and difficult especially when carrying bags
Good 6.4
Great staff. Nice pool. Clean room. Airport shuttle. Better than budget Darwin hotels but more expensive. Internet in room is poor (often not available at all) if internet is a priority give this hotel a miss. I had to sit in reception to complete some important tasks.
Excellent 9.6
Very clean and comfortable
Excellent 9.2
Can’t really ask for more . Rates are consistent with other like properties . Tavern next door makes it handy for a meal .
Good 7.2

Poor 1.0
Pros: location
Cons: mix up with charging - charged 3x $103.00 as security deposit and I have to wait for credit - very unsatisfactory!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Sunset was beautiful Staff friendly
Cons: Some of the food wasn't that good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The space it was huge with 2 pools
Cons: Just the food trays that were left out weren’t picked up for ages then birds etc made a mess
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The view
Cons: Took so long to get a taxi to pick u up from there
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The resort pool was picturesque and there were adequate beach chairs available. Mocktail of the day was enjoyable.
Cons: The air flow in first family deluxe room provided was stale and mouldy so I had to request another room on the third floor. I was provided the room which smelt a lot better.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location and pool
Cons: No cold drinking water provided. Absolutely astounding. None in the 1 bedroom suit and no access to drinking water at the lagoon pool before midday. So aweful. This is the most basic thing. Cold drinking water is provided even in the cheapest hotels. And reception staff (probably used to hearing this and unable to change this policy) are unapologetic and show no empathy whatsoever. Also we couldnt get out for a nice walk on the beach unless we went and walked all the way around the casino. (too hot for that) Should have swipe card access on the gates to the beach not padlocks.
Good 7.0
Pros: the area was nice
Cons: the bathroom door was a slide door and you had to lift it to get it to slide and close, the sliding door to the balcony was stiff to slide and open and for the cost per night I think small details like that shouldn't happen.
Okay 5.6
Breakfast & lagoon room package Does not come with complimentary coffee. Room does not come with complimentary water. We had 2 staff in checking mini bar after we had told them we did not use anything. We had purchased our own from woolworths. Breakfast we did not get our order both mornings, missing our drinks we ordered & the toast with the big breakfast. No fruit platter or muffin basket as it stated. Please do not disturb sign was up when they walked in to "make sure mini bar was still full" whilst I was showering. Very disappointing
Excellent 10.0
We will never forget this place, thank you for serving amazing food and an amazing stay overall! We miss you Darwin!!!
Good 7.6
We enjoy our time at the resort the lagoon pool was fabulous and the staff were great. Although the food was good I feel more menu options would have been better. And perhaps some live music in one of the bars would be a good idea. The room was clean nothing outstanding for the price.
Excellent 8.0
Short vacay to enjoy the Lagoon Pool that is awesome for young kids
Okay 4.0
Paid for 2 adults and 2 children with breakfast and even though I have showed reception staff my booking confirmation they keep arguing that it’s not their error and I need to pay for my child at breakfast. Room was never cleaned and only 3 towels for 4 people
Excellent 10.0
We stayed at Mindil Beach resort for a week while in Darwin on a family holiday. This resort was spectacular for our two young kids and the lagoon was amazing. The staff were excellent and nothing was a problem. The room was clean and brilliant facilities. I would highly recommend this resort and would have not hesitation in staying at this resort again. Jan Perth
Excellent 9.2
Good for staying in the hotel there unless no breakfast in the hotel
Good 6.0
We stayed for new years good restaurants and staff were friendly, but the rooms we stayed in were very dated and due for an upgrade.
Excellent 10.0
excellent.
Excellent 8.9
Three of us shared a suite including roller bed. Have stayed previously but noticed since the new owners commenced, staff were “all” very friendly - said hello .....good feeling! Lovely room view...pools were clean, great to use both pools. Restaurants were enjoyed, Dragon Court is a winner! the Resort is a safe venue too! thanks!
Excellent 8.2
The staff were excellent, they couldn't be more helpful. The rooms and the actual building need an overhaul, they were old and dull - total refurbishment and a paint job on the outside, I was surprised at the high price of the rooms considering the condition and size. Meals ..... best ever!
Good 7.7
Pros: There are two pools the resort (luxury villas) and the standard pool. As we only had a standard room we were in the standard pool area, but still fantastic. Close to Mindal Beach night market. Close to everything really. Sunsets in Summer are beautiful. Plenty of food options to choose from.
Cons: It is a Casino so that does tend to take away some of the niceness of the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
We loved our recent stay at Sky City so much so we went back for a second stay. Check in is always fast and easy. Everything you could ask for is right at your door. Restaurants are fantastic service is exceptional and the casino facilities are as you would expect. The staff at both pools were amazing and ready to mix any cocktail combination you could ask for. I highly recommend the frozen cocktails any of them. They were delicious. The sunsets are nothing short of spectacular. We will be back.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location, excellent security in a time of lockdown, lockout, and mask mandate. Great amenities, good food and drink options on site and nearby, excellent central location.
Cons: Not necessarily a reflection on the property, but going through Booking.com and then extending my stay (due to extended Covid lockout) caused me a number of problems. It was not an easy process: "Sorry, sir, you'll need to go back through Booking.com about that." Ultimately, I didn't realise I'd extended in a higher standard of accommodation. I extended for the specific purpose of having another two days to decompress and sort my gear out, but the extension meant that I would have to change rooms. Maybe that was my mistake in the online booking process, however, not being able to resolve it via the reception desk and having to hunch over a device to sort it out added to the irritation. Sadly, after I thought I had it sorted, I still got a phone call from reception at 8pm the night before asking if I realised I had to check out and move the next day - even after I'd cleared it with reception. At the time, I was just getting off a cruise boat with a lovely young woman and took the call. Long story short: that ultimately helped me dodge a dating bullet! I apologised profusely for my terse response that night, and sent the hotel reception staff a gift basket after I'd left to thank them for otherwise sterling help and service. Moral of the story: it was not a great ad for using an external booking service. I'll take that lesson forward next time I stay there, and I will.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location and pool great
Cons: Room not well kept, very small, small balcony facing directly at offices - no privacy. Shower flooded regularly due to incorrect drain location and no shower door. Aircon did not go below 21 degrees.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All good nice and close to the city
Excellent 9.6
We stayed in a harbour view 1 bedroom apartment. Fantastic room with lovely view. Great location. Apartment is in great condition and very clean couldn't ask for more. Easy walk into city centre and waterfront. Onsite parking. Fantastic stay!!
Good 7.2
Location of hotel is very good. Easy walking to restaurants and tourist attractions. Older style hotel. We appreciated our upgrade to a junior suite room. Free onsite laundry.
Excellent 10.0
excellent facilities for leisure and business facilities
Good 7.6
If you’re looking for a reliable chain hotel in Darwin, this is the spot. For $225 a night, you might expect something a little more exciting, perhaps the architect might have, for example, considered that the pool will be out of the sun for the majority of the day. Or perhaps you’re expecting your view to be a little more exciting than an opposing wall, but folks this is travel in Australia in 2021 and everything is a bloody rip off. Regardless, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet, the staff were efficient, the lifts were quick to arrive and if you want a decent sleep, this place will deliver, just don’t come with high expectations.
Excellent 10.0
great rooms ,nice hotel....but something needs to be done about the shower recess. when you have a shower the water floods out in to the rest of the bathroom. but a good stay all up
Excellent 10.0
The staff are outstanding, most lovely friendly couldn’t do enough to help us have a wonderful holiday
Excellent 10.0
a clean, practicle hotel, good location, very clean, really nice staff,,would stay there anytime
Good 7.2
Bring your own blankets, they only have sheets.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stayed in room #906. Kitchenette, washer/dryer huge room. Rooms are NOT SERVICED DAILY but you can get fresh towels etc upon request. Staff spectacular, friendly and efficient. Make sure to get breakfast included. They will give you lowest Internet rate for each category of room.
Cons: Nothing- this is the place to stay in Darwin without a doubt.
Excellent 9.7
all the staff were friendly and helpful. cannot think of a fault
Good 6.9
good. Except room didnt get made up in morning and shower was only warm.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Location Staff Facilities
Good 7.1
Pros: In good location. Nice clean room, quiet with lovely pool overlooking city. Staff very obliging.
Cons: Hotel room was quite small compared to others we had stayed in. Hallway had a strange smell and when asking staff about it were give varing answers.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The pool area was clean and the pool large enough to do laps. The location is very central to everything and easy to walk everywhere. Supermarket 5 mins away.
Cons: I assumed I had booked a room with a balcony (misleading photographs used on site I booked through) and so was not comfortable with the size of the small dark studio as I was staying for a week. I needed to upgrade to a one bedroom apartment. All accommodation was very expensive in Darwin during the time I stayed so paying over $1200 I found very expensive. The apartment was clean and spacious for 1 but dated in furnishing. The arm chair had a large rip in the seat cushion which was covered by a throw blanket. Not good enough for over $1200 a week. The staff were professional but I would not say warm and welcoming at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff at reception were exceptional! Thank you!
Cons: My bed could have been newer
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance
Okay 4.0
Pros: The building is on the Center of the CBD.. next to woolies. Accessible to almost everything.
Cons: The price is to expensive. I don’t mind paying that much if it’s worth it. First thing we notice when we got inside the room is the funny smell from not sure if the coach or carpet and hoping that the smell will be gone after while with the aircon on but worse thing happen is that the aircon is not working properly. Needed to turn on the fan so the living room would have comfortable temp. The lights on the dinning area doesn’t work so we tried to turn on the stand lamp finding out the it’s not working to. Very disappointed hoping not to go back to that place.

Good 7.0
Pros: Relatively good location and excellent staff
Cons: it desperately needs renovation - a paint job and new furniture just isn’t enough
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Great facilities.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The apartment was stocked with all the necessary basics. Washing machine and dryer were a bonus. Outdoor facilities are also good.
Good 6.0
Pros: Was pretty big the room & was clean. Having an access directly outside (in the garden & at the swimming)from your bedroom it's really appreciable.
Cons: It's really noisy... Being awake 2 mornings on 4 just because of the noisy staff ( lawn mower, drill, they came in the bedroom when we were sleeping !) not cool at all. And where is the people who do the housekeeping ? They came only once on 5nights?!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I like everything about Alatai, we feel like home, our privacy was well respected. We have what need in the room including washing machine and dryer. Lots of parking.
Cons: We liked what we had The staff were very helpful
Excellent 9.0
Pros: love that it has a kitchen with utensils
Cons: bed was a little soft (I’m used to my hard back support bed)
Good 6.4
Value for money.. clean and neat.. walking distance to just about every where.
Excellent 8.8
Very good for the price. Clean. Well located. Great staff. Nice pool.
Excellent 8.0
Rooms are dated but clean, beds are comfortable, very reasonable price.
Good 6.4
The staff were very good, the rooms were clean enough and the location is on the edge of the CBD. Cons. Looks like there are people living permanently in the complex . There were teens and locals yelling and carrying on until late at night in the complex and on the street outside. There are abondon stripped down cars in the carpark.
Excellent 9.2
The place was only a 10 minute walk to town and quiet. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi in the room was free which was great but at night the WiFi slowed right down and at times dropped out. To be fair the staff were honest and did mention this to me. If the room WiFi could be upgraded so it is better than the place would be absolutely perfect.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff most helpful
Cons: Struggle to get my heavy bag to room. A lift would be v useful
Good 6.9
It was ok. Lots of locals hang around. Some guests are loud and get drunk.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: the room is really nice, the bed is really comfortable, the service is really good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The pool! Comfy bed., luxurious interiors
Cons: Small amout of mold in the showers here and there. No big deal though.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly welcoming professional service on the front desk, clean modern refurbished rooms. Quiet space and it was low price.
Cons: Nothing, this is the best hotel I've stayed in Darwin to date.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Cold aircon
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Pool was great. Renovated rooms
Excellent 10.0
Very central location. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable priced poolside bar menu and food is tasty and comes in big portion.
Excellent 10.0
Good size rooms with super comfy beds and a huge TV. Ultra clean everywhere and nice staff. Perfect- thank you !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them. The pool was well located with a great pool bar. Hotel was well located within walking distance of all the bars and pubs. Helpful having woolies across the road.
Cons: Had a problem with the aircon but the great staff did a room change without any hassle.
Excellent 10.0
If you can get at a discount rate it is superb. Even at full price it is nice.
Excellent 8.8
Friendly staff, easy to access faciliites. I'd recommend the townhouses due to the reduction in hallway noise from other guests (can get rowdy on the weekend) Use the pool whenever you can, well maintained and a very nice break from the heat!
Good 7.6
The hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms were fine. Pool is great. Location is great. Gardens need a bit of work. Not too many people having breakfast there, and we noticed that the food was not fresh - cheese slices going hard after being in the buffet for a couple of days! When I mentioned that, the plate was removed. But not replaced with fresh items. Berries on offer, still frozen.
Excellent 8.0
Close to shopping area. Restaurant, night life Beach. Will return for staying again.
Good 7.2
Walk to CBD and wharf precinct. Woolies across the road with bust stop. Easy catch for local buses. Breakfast staff excellent with friendly front counter staff.
Excellent 8.0
Nice room clean and tidy. Good sized room. Comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well. Large bathroom and nice shower. Cleaned daily if required. Pool was excellent and very popular. Towels provided and lounges to use under shade. Close to Woolworths (across the road) for food supplies and pharmacy. Within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Bus stop across the road to Mindil Beach Markets. friendly staff who were helpful.
Excellent 10.0
This is my second time to stay at this hotel. The room with two double bed is spacious and comfortable. They gave us two card keys, which let us go out separately. A supermarket and a liquor shop is just across the road. I will definitely use this hotel for my next trip!
Excellent 10.0
The room is clean and spacious. Though dome reviews tell the accommodation is old, it isn’t at all! They must have been refurbished!
Mediocre 3.6
The city was busy so got stuck here, rooms are ok but the rest of the hotel is from the 1970s
Excellent 10.0
Highly enjoyable stay
Good 7.6
Would recommend.
Excellent 8.5
The hotel's location is great. It is not on the main city but it is right across the street from Coles so it was convenient. The hotel is also close enough to the city, so you can easily travel from the hotel. The bus to Casuarina Shopping Centre is also nearby and it is roughly a short 5 minute walk from Mitchell street. It has really nice swimming pools with bar, which was very relaxing. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Only con is that it was obvious that the bathrooms are in need of renovation and plumbing upgrades. Other than that, will still recommend this hotel.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hospitality, rooms, services, awesome food and especially the lovely staff treatment!
Cons: I love staying at Mercure Darwin Airport Resort. I'd recommend it to anyone 🙂🙂🙂.Hisp
Good 6.0
Cons: The room we had in building 1, had a stench of cigarette smoke and the smoke detector was half hanging off the ceiling, either the previous person was smoking in the room or outside the room with the door open
Okay 5.0
Pros: I liked the front desk staff they were very helpful
Cons: rooms were small and still a bit dirty. carpet dirty and bathroom was not cleaned properly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable. Neat. Lovely staff.
Cons: There was a wad of hair in the shower drain
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff were welcoming & professional. The room was clean with good quality linen. The pool was good to mess around in & the food was good.
Cons: The aircon was woefully underpowered for the size of room so even with the fan on, it didn't make for a particularly comfortable night. Could also have done with more than just one towel per person & there was a massive crack running along the wall in the bathroom. Plugs by the bed were hidden by the bedhead that was fixed to the wall.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pool area excellent with shade...overflying hi speed jets quite often next to the Airport
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast good.staff very friendly.
Cons: Being put in a room that they knew the air conditioner did not work and at 10.15 pm had to ring reception and then had to move rooms after unpacking.the room was hotter than outside-extremely disappointing as they said they were aware of the issue.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: conveniently close to airport. restaurant offers quite a various menu and pool is great for activities.
Cons: no lift to second floor
Excellent 8.0
Good location for flying in or out of Darwin. Great swimming pool and bar with very helpful staff. Great breakfast choice.
Good 6.0
The room wasn't what we had in mind/asked for; asked for non-smoking and were obviously given a smoking room by the strong smell upon entering the room. The bathroom sink was leaking, it would drip down onto the floor every 2 secs then run down the tiles towards the door, the carpet was wet in front of the bathroom door because the water was pooling in front of the bathroom door (we were greeted with a puddle, that we then had to try clean up so our toddler wouldn't keep trying to play in it). Luckily it was only an overnight stay as we had a plane to catch early the following morning. Enjoyed the food and drinks that we had takeaway from the restaurant. Could have requested another room instead, but our toddler had had enough by this point so we told ourselves it was just one night and focussed on the dinner/shower bedtime routine. Staff friendly.
Excellent 9.2
Good family atmosphere. cheap cocktails. nice pool vibe. food tasty & reasonably priced. Bungalow room had lots of space, only issue was a small drip from roof because of all the rain, mentioned it to staff. long weekend caused a few intoxicated arguments in early morning, but this would not deter me staying here again. over all a comfortable overnight stay
Good 7.6
Make sure you select a large & more expensive room otherwise you will stay in the “dorm quarters” which have tiny rooms, smell musty & are not thoroughly clean!
Excellent 9.2
I have never stayed here before, but will again. Pool was amazing, kids had an absolute ball. hardest thing was walking with out esky & all our Christmas goodies up the stairs, so I would suggest requesting a ground level room if you can. Rooms were spacious. would recommend
Excellent 8.8
The room was spotless and bed comfortable. No inroom safe, definitely no frills. Furniture was dated ,dented and scratched. Ok if you just want somewhere to lay your head
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Overall amazing. I arrived late and was looking forward to a nice sleep! Was disappointed. Lovely reception staff very helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Close to airport for convenience
Cons: Nothing!!
Excellent 8.5
good
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We could walk to and from car rental and airport, nice nature walk. Room was a good size with fridge. Pool was welcoming.
Cons: We wanted to sit outside to eat and were a little discouraged from doing so. The server said possums might bother us. We sat outside anyway and had a lovely meal. No possums present.

Nice clean rooms for short stay
Excellent 8.8
They onl y complaint I have is the wifi was terrible. Beds was comfy , staff was great m room was very clean , but the poorest wifi connection , It needs an upgrade as you have no wifi in your room , which is no good if your trying to face time with your family or trying to send and receive important e mails .
Excellent 8.4
Comfy and quiet , central
Okay 5.6
Nothing flash, air con and fan worked. Has balconey, room 5. Smallish rom, no microwave. Basic toaster and Jug. Shower and toilet reasonably clean and good water pressurein shower. Pool was small but enjoyable. 1x BBQ on site. Parking on site was ok. No lifts being 2-3 floors. Bed was okay. Floors could have been cleaned better, some dust and human hair about. Check in and out was easy. Good for 1x night stay. It is a motel room.
Excellent 8.8
Location was perfect for our conference. Pool was lovely and clean. Room was comfotable, clean and sufficient for our needs. Would definitely stay again.

Good 7.0
Pros: it was “Irish”
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Value for money, and so close to city. Only issue was the air conditioner water over the doorway leaking.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Receptionist was helpful
Cons: first room was well not worth the price and bathroom was stained all over, however was moved and upgraded for the inconvenience
Good 6.0
Pros: The cottages & resort was peaceful.
Cons: That there is a $20 charging fee if you don’t wash your dishes - with nothing to wash it with except for the small bathroom sink (no sponge, no dish liquid.)
Good 7.0
Pros: The room and linen were clean.
Cons: The air con unit was ancient and took a few hours to cool the room down.
Excellent 8.8
Spacious rooms very friendly lady receptionist
Excellent 8.8
Will always stay here... staff are so accommodating. Thanks
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bus stop right next door. Nice restaurant. Excellent, good value meals. Pool. Helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The entire hotel owners/staff (I believe we met all of them over our stay) was just amazing. They were very friendly and helpful for anything and everything. The room was packed full of goodies to help enjoy our stay. I seriously cannot say enough good about the staff though; they clearly care deeply about their customers.
Cons: The hotel is toward the outskirts of the town but do keep in mind the town isn't very big at all so that isn't a major setback.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: just chilling out did not have to rush around very close to Mitchell street and the local shopping love the location have been here 3 times thank you for the great stay
Cons: we have no complaints about this hotel this is our second home when we come to Darwin
Okay 5.0
Pros: The check in process was straightforward and the staff member at reception was pleasant. Air conditioning in the room worked well.
Cons: The wifi didn't work at any point throughout our 2 night stay, and neither did the room phone. We asked reception about the wifi 3 times during the stay and were told it was because a lot of people were using the network, and to try later. I even tried at 3am, and there was still no wifi. We had to work from the hotel and after a day of using our mobile data due to the lack of wifi, we incurred extra data charges. I've tried to contact Frontier Hotel about this three times since check out, and all written communications were ignored, while the phone call was relayed to management and then ignored again. Side note: there were also tiny ants in our bathroom sink.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing. it was dirty, our toilet was not even fixed to the floor. out of a 4-day stay we only once had our rooms cleaned. no spare towels, no spare pillows and a pub that had bud girls on a Friday within a few meters from kids who are swimming at the pool.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was dirty, Burn on coffee table There was makeup stains on the mattress Shower had holes
Good 6.0
Pros: Location, value
Cons: Lack of staff knowledge and interaction.
Excellent 9.6
Staff were incredibly flexible and helpful to us in making some changes to our reservation. They went more than an extra mile to enable us to vary our booking in order to do a Kakadu tour on a different date. We're very grateful for their kindness.

Excellent 10.0
We enjoy a walk so the location of this hotel was ideal. 15 mins walk into town. Great value cheap & cheerful hotel. Comfortable sleep - certainly nothing to complain about. We would stay again - no problems.
Excellent 8.4
Happy with location not far from Botanical gardens, Mindil Market and central CBD. Got an amazing deal for the accomodation but then that matched the room ( clean and simple ) . :-)
Okay 5.2
Not a very clean place, have to ask for clean towels & room serviced.
Excellent 9.6
staff very polite and helpful. Location awesome close to the city walking distance to the city.
Mediocre 3.2
Stayed for just the 1 night and was put in a room which was quiet disgusting 🤢 - air con did not work properly - bed was rock hard - the bathroom was very mouldy....especially the shower section you could see the mould!! - the decor seen better days. - staff didn't really acknowledge us on checkout. - the whole hotel needs a really good face lift ONLY POSITIVE...location!
Excellent 10.0
My friend and I had a wonderful holiday in Darwin. We enjoyed staying at the hotel finding it convenient to many different locations and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Mediocre 3.6
Stayed here for 5 nights. Definitely not work though the money when you can get something nicer elsewhere.
Good 6.4
3 star hotel. Clean and staff helpful. No milk or water! No mini bar But liquor store next door
Excellent 9.6
FRONTIER HOTEL WAS A LOVELY PROPERTY WITH FRIENDLY STAFF CLEAN ROOM AND GREAT FACILITIES GREAT VIEW FROM THE TOP SORRY THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT OPEN ON THE ROOF TOP THE VIEW FROM TOP FLOOR SUN SETS AND SUN RISES WAS AMAZING
Excellent 9.6
Not in the city but walking distance. An old but great 3star hotel . Very clean. Staff really helpful. Pool is great. Having the hotel with pub grub is yummy. Would definitely stay here again.
Mediocre 3.6
Stayed for eight nights in one room, then 2 nights in another. The desk staff are friendly, and are trying their best; the beds are comfortable, and the shower in the first room was good. The location is good. That's the end of the positives. The rooms are generally shabby, with broken/damaged old furniture, and lots of unused holes and screws in the walls. The sink tap sprayed water out the sides, and the shower curtain was filthy. The air-conditioner remote wasn't emitting, so turning the unit on/off involved climbing up furniture. The Wifi is so poor that they may as well turn it off. No blankets, and the front desk was only able to provide a pool towel instead. The housekeeping is the worst point. We ran out of coffee before night 3, so went to the front desk for more, and mentioned that housekeeping hadn't been in - they told us that housekeeping refurbish daily, and do a full clean every third day. Housekeeping stopped by the next evening, and only replaced the towels and coffee, and emptied the bin. Nothing more, in spite of the bunched-up sheet sitting on the bed. They also took the 'blanket' towel and the bathmat without replacement. That was the ONLY time housekeeping provided any form of service during our 10 night stay. The bin overflowed nicely, which is not good in a place with an ant problem. We had to get extra toilet paper from the front desk mid-way through, but they had plenty, and weren't surprised by the request. I did see housekeeping at one stage, sitting in another room chatting to each other. This hotel gives the impression that the owner is nowhere near, and has told staff to save money at all costs. It has the standards of a cheap US chain motel (Motel 6, Super 8, etc.), but at 2-3 times the price.
Okay 4.4

Good 6.4
If you're on a tight budget, it's a clean roof over your head.
Mediocre 2.4
We have never stayed in such an awful hotel anywhere we have travelled. Arrogant staff except for one lovely lady that was covering the desk. Smelly, dirty, ants in reception and all over the bedroom floor and bed, crawling over us during the night with other smaller insects. Asked for help was told insecticide couldn’t be located. Burn mark and various stains on blankets well hidden inside sheets. Top sheet yellow stains. Chairs thick with dust. Bathroom mirrors rusty. Plug holes full of dirt and more. Air con smell not pleasant so turned off. Lifts dirty and smelly. Couldn’t wait to get out.
Okay 4.8
Well not 4 stars.
Okay 4.8
The room rubbish bin was not emptyied while I was there. Water leak on the tap was not rectified despite letting the staff know. The room was not cleaned in 6 days.
Good 7.2
Upon arriving staff weren’t very inviting. Room was okay, clean but nothing fancy. Said no smoking room which seemed true but the hallways smelt like stale cigarettes. The cold tap in our sink wasn’t working at all only the hot tap which was way too hot to wash hands under. We informed reception straight away (about 2:30pm) and this wasn’t fixed. However we did check out the next morning. Overall okay, nothing fancy but okay for a night.
Okay 4.0
Old hotel and facilities. Not cleaned well, ants and bugs all over counters (even after changing rooms), including cockroaches in bathroom. Aircon and phone in room not functioning. Night staff lack knowledge of hotel and do not assist to even buy water. Only a vending machine, not even stocked well and no option for restaurant or brekky in the hotel nor close by.
Okay 4.0
Nice big swimming pool but 5/10 overall score would be too generous! Filthy rooms - very dated. Good for one night if you have to!
Okay 4.8
Nice comfy beds and decent fresh linen nice room overall Bad thing about this hotel is not cleaned and vacuum the room properly and spotted toilet seat has urine not cleaned properly and water is leaking all day long.
Good 6.0
Worn out and dated - little maintenance done, furnishings in worn condition . Airconditioning in desperate need of servicing, carpets need shampooing . Pool area looks sad and unkempt limited seating available, the only plus is that there is plenty of hot water and the fridge is cold.
