ExcellentOct. 20198.3
Location is good. Right behind Hertz and Edinbourgh playhouse.
Room location is bad, no view at all. Outside my window were other rooms on the opposite side. Shower room has half a door, cannot prevent water from splashing outside. I could never manage to figure out why there were always half doors in british shower rooms. Housekeeping is not good, one hour after I checked in I found there was a sign of beverage poured on the carpet. I suppose the housekeeping should've noticed this and should prevent this room from being arranged to guest but they definitely didn't.

Location and breakfast was good.
Went for a drink In the bar and were told there was no draught beer or lager today and were sold. Amy bottle of beer for £5.50. Very poor. The bathrooms I n the room had obscure glass doors etc horrible and would not have booked if we had known this would be the design. Terrible idea

Great location, about a 5 minute walk from Waverley Station and off the noise from the Royal Mile.
