Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was beyond anything that we had expected. Absolutely perfect.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The owners made us feel very welcome, gave us a tour of the accommodation and were really friendly and accessible throughout. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious (delivered the night prior including freshly baked bread!) and they provided a wine tasting and some extra homemade treats on arrival which was unexpected and very welcome. We were free to roam about the property, which is gorgeous and great for animal lovers with a very friendly dog, chickens, and some neighbouring deer.
Cons: The only reason I can't give this property a 10 is that the bedroom blinds and curtains are quite thin and let through a lot of light. If you're light sensitive like me you'll likely wake up with the sun and the dawn chorus. Bed was a little too soft for me (but that's personal taste).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: lovely spot and great wine
Cons: the grapes
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loretta and Andrew are the consummate hosts. The accommodation is like a one bedroom apartment. It's really cosy and we arrived to treats like homemade chocolate cake, warm homemade bread, tea or coffee and/or champagne jelly cups. Spoilt for choice. Archie, the celebrity dog and the chooks also made us feel very welcome. Loved our stay there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hosts Loretta and Andy were absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcome without being intrusive, breakfast was divine, and they even dropped us off at the local pub for dinner! Being taken for a walk around the vineyards by the beautiful dog Archie was also a highlight. Their wines are lovely and very reasonably priced, enjoyed them all but absolutely loved the Pinot. Oh, and the bed was to die for!! highly recommend and thank you both for a fantastic stay 😊 perfect way to end our honeymoon ❤️
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Continental breakfast with freshly baked bread, condiments, fruit, and cereal was delicious. The location was perfect for us, just out of town. A nice country feel. We had a wine tasting with Loretta and learnt all about the wines that she produces. The house was warm and cosy. Loretta found out that it was my birthday and left me a block of chocolate with a little message wishing me a Happy Birthday. A very nice touch.
Cons: NA
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location, accommodation and very friendly hosts.&
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loretta, Andy and Archie are amazing, from the first minute we felt great! The place was perfectly clean and has all the amenities you would want for a relaxing time. We had the salmon and cheese platter as dinner, and they prepared it with so much care and love, was just perfect... And also was the breakfast. We got a wine tasting while Loretta showed us the winery and that was the cherry on top, we can't recommend enough this place 8/5 stars!
Cons: Everything was simply perfect!
Excellent 10.0
Loretta and Andy (and Archie, too - adorable dog) are great hosts. We spent a couple of nights in their place and we loved it - cozy rooms, beautiful surroundings and a very enjoyable tour of their vineyard. We got to taste their wines and eventually bought a Chardonnay, which we finished really soon. It's that good! If anyone planned to stay near Richmond or even Hobart, Loretta and Andy's place is highly recommended.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had private entrance, garden and deck, sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Too bad we weren't staying longer! Loretta provided all the little extras, extremely gracious people and Andrew's morning tour was most informative and very entertaining!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: A beautiful B&B, with tastefully styled and comfortable rooms, friendly and welcoming hosts and in a great location. Being treated to a home-cooked breakfast in the morning was a particular highlight!
Cons: Nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very clean excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We appreciated the finer details off the beautiful property and we loved the breakfast
Cons: Put it this way. We lock the door behind us to maintain our privacy which was obviously not apparent that night upon our return.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our hosts, David and Jacqueline, were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our conversations with them. The breakfasts were amazing: delicious, healthy and more than ample in quantity. Our room, which faced the back of the property, was quiet and very comfortable. Coffee, tea and biscuits as well as some port wine were supplied in the room. The decor of the house befitted its historical nature. The sitting and dining rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Our only very minor comment is that slightly more even lighting around the bathroom mirror would have been appreciated although we realize that it might be difficult to implement in a historical home.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, our hosts were great! Bellerive is a lovely part of Hobart.
Cons: We had no complaints- it is a charming house and lovely accommodation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing hospitality in a beautiful house. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Very accommodating of a last minute booking. Highlight of trip to Hobart.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A quaint converted family home beautifully renovated into a homely, clean and inviting B&B. Highlight was David and Jacqueline's warm and generous hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble, and theyu both took every effort to make our stay as amazing as possible. From giving us suggestions on the best places to visit, to adjusting the breakfast menu to cater for my vegan partner. The small touches like aromatic flowers in the room, chocolate and shortbread with tea, and vegan slices daily really set this place apart. Fancy without being pretentious. Truly a wonderful place to stay for out time in Hobart!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bellerive House is a delightful home away from home. My partner and I simply couldn’t fault a thing from the beautifully laid out bedroom, ornaments throughout the home and exceptional attention to detail. The breakfast is fit for a king or queen and is lovingly made. Nothing short of setting you up for the rest of your day.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was probably the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Beautiful house and room, absolutely wonderful hosts and easily the best homemade breakfast ever. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The lovely host and the wonderfully spacious and comfortable Garden Cottage. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Nothing. All wonderful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mulberry Cottage is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we have travelled extensively. The attention to detail and wonderful little touches plus the friendliness and helpfulness of Maureen make this standout accommodation. The rooms are very spacious and the cottage is very private in a beautiful garden. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and it was delicious. We highly recommend Mulberry Cottage - don’t miss it!!
Cons: Absolutely nothing except we wished we could have stayed longer!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: best cottage in Tasmania I ever stayed ⭐️
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was the first night of our 10 day stay in Tasmania celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary together and it was the best. Mulberry Cottage was delightful. It is big with a charming lounge, kitchen/dining area, beautiful bedroom and bathroom. All of the rooms have beautiful views from the windows and it is so peaceful with birds singing in the garden. The checkin was fabulous and the bottle of wine bought there was so so good i wish I had bought more. Everything was beautifully presented and there were lots of little extras like cream biscuits to have with a cuppa and port. But the very best part was the breakfast included .. we would return just for that. The most beautiful blueberry pancakes I will ever have with fresh fruit all delivered to our door in a picnic basket. It was Devine. Mulberry cottage is the best!!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The owner was so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded without asking. All facilities were provided eg cooking entertainment information on the district and the gardens were peaceful and comfortable to sit in. Pros: What a comfy cottage in a lovely little town. The owner had thought of all your needs, will extra little touches like generous towels and pillows, cooking items such as oil and paper towel - just simple things that made our stay that much better! Super clean and neat as a pin, the cottage kept us warm and cosey. Thank you to the lovely owner.
Cons: Nothing - it was excellent
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The “Cellar” accommodation had everything I needed and was warm and comfortable. This gem of a property is situated in a lively historical town about 25 minute drive from Hobart. The township itself had all the amenities (restaurants/winery/shops etc) I required and all within a minutes walk. Property staff were friendly and accommodating.
Excellent 9.6
We loved our stay in this cosy cottage. The bed was super comfortable. All the little extras: night light in toilet, olive oil and gladwrap, a couple of bikkies. Every thing was beautifully done. Would recommend.

Kids loved the games & facilities. To summarize , words cannot express our delightful overnight stay and tranquility of the environment. Will certainly stay for longer period next time around .

Cons: loved it all!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The fresh hot bread each morning was fantastic, as was the rest of the breakfast provided!
Cons: At first I felt the location was a little 'unkept' but as I got to know the purpose of the farm and the COVID struggles I think it added to its charm!
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely breakfast out in the suny courtyard. Felt like a holiday.
Good 7.0
Pros: The homemade bread & jam, local fruit etc was lovely, the owners love their animals, you can see by the way the speak about them.
Cons: We didn't like the bathroom. We had booked with another couple and the bathroom was a ensuite on the main bedroom. Which meant the second couple had to walk through the main bedroom to use the bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful clean cabin, delicious fresh baked bread for breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Had a wonderful time. Peaceful and great staff. Breakfast basket was perfect

Excellent 10.0
Pros: just like you stepped into a storybook in England. beautiful garden and the surrounding areas. lovely host.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely cottage with all amenities you could need. Easy to walk to all sights. Great host.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful little cottage located on the main street within walking distance to everything. Our family walked to the Jail and to the Bridge. Host was very lovely. Would definitely recommend this place and would go back. The fire and spa were amazing.
Good 6.0
Pros: Very close to the town centre. Quaint cottage, older style with some nice period furniture. Very spacious in the bedrooms and living areas. Host preheated the unit for our arrival. Electric blankets and good quality bedding. Plenty of tea, coffee and sugar and tasty biscuits provided. Good range of DVD’s provided.
Cons: Really in need of some maintenance. Some doors difficult to shut and some electrical problems. Bed and pillows were too firm for my liking, but the bedding was cozy. Lounge is a beautiful antique sofa, but not so comfortable to sit on. Looked forward to a spa bath, but hot water ran out before it filled to the jet level. No Netflix or Smart TV.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Owner was friendly and helpful and had switched on the heat before we arrived so the place immediately felt cosy. Loved the decor - very comfortable and the antique furnishings were lovely. The facilities were excellent and would support a longer stay. Brilliant location on the main street of Richmond. Would definitely return for a longer visit if we return to Tasmania.
Cons: Access to the shower was a bit awkward for a person with mobility issues - having to climb into a large spa tub - and some accessibility handles might be a good idea to help this. While the main street access is a boon for visiting, it can mean some early morning traffic noise.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location is excellent. Very Rustic but charming. Host was great.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fantastic location. Very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better.
Good 6.0
Pros: The garden and views across Hobart where appealing.
Cons: We stayed at the house due to its old heritage. However old does not have to equate to unclean. Unfortunately the room needs a thorough clean, including removal of the spider webs and the grubby walls require a good wipe down.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Brekky was great thanks, that little fried egg sitting under the pastries. Good position with great location.
Cons: Was great , nothing to complain about
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A fabulous property with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Well appointed bathrooms and wardrobes. Generous lounge for the use of guests including a cosy wood burner. Heating in all guestrooms and common rooms. A comfortable dining room with all facilities and pleasant cafe music. Hearty breakfasts at times to suit guests. Beautiful gardens with magnificent roses. Fabulous views across Derwent River to the city. No traffic noise. Good carparking with ramp access to the house.
Cons: The television remote didn't work in my room. Minor maintenance needed.

Pros: The property is beautiful, located in a quiet neighbourhood and close to the waterfront. the breakfast was simple but offered close, heritage bed and breakfast style dining, allowing conversation to easily be struck with other guests.
Cons: nothing

Good 7.0
Pros: Good Location, room heater worked well just old
Cons: Poor TV reception, small TV, no Netflix. Shower door sticks. Continental breakfast not as good as other places we have stayed. Garden grass overgrown. Larger TV in common area not connected.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is perfect if you are driving, we were home from our concert in Hobart in under 10 minutes. The historical old house was very inviting. For what we paid compared with CBD hotels, Orana House was exceptional value for money. The family who own it are absolutely lovely.

Excellent 8.4
All pros. Lovely breakfast. Room. Con shower was Nat all good
Excellent 8.8
Orana House is in a perfect location for a couple of days stay in Hobart or longer, conveniently located within walking distance to local cafes and a pleasant walk or bike ride over the bridge to Hobart and lovely walking tracks along the eastern side of the Derwent. No gym facility but not needed with the walking track and fitness equipment in the local park. Stan & family are very welcoming as is Orana House. Enjoy the freedom of the lovely open loungroom and cooking facilities. Always our first choice when in Tassie.
Excellent 10.0
Beautifully restored property with a lovely garden. Clean room with a comfy bed - good breakfast - friendly & helpful staff
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place to stay. Room was extremely comfortable and had a very nice 4 poster bed. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were very pleasant. There is also a very nice garden and ample car parking. On arrival we were given a personal folder with details of the hotel and various local sights and amenities, A very nice touch. It advertises itself as as a bed and breakfast but it is of a higher standard than many mid range (3 or 4 star) hotels which we have stayed in. Would definitely stay there again if opportunity ever arose.
Cons: Nothing really bar bit more detail of what is available on TV

Excellent 9.0
Pros: beautiful setting
Cons: tranquil and pet friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: great atmosphere. family friendly. relaxing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was a great place to stay with our little dog.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The charm the farm. The animals. The privacy. The quiet. The gardens. Nothing was any trouble for the owners. Owners friendly and easygoing. Rooms need a little maintainance but so does every home , nothing bad though. Attention paid to detail re guests needs. We were made to feel very welcome and treated like friends.
Cons: Not a grievance but the cobblestones were hard to walk on- I have arthritis.
Good 6.4
Owners are lovely and friendly always. Sad to see the place is getting run down and disappointing that there was a domestic next door. Owners told us that they we gonna call us to see if we wanted another room but sadly they didn’t bother. The domestic situation was not their fault at all but they didn’t contact us about it and only mentioned it when they say us. Could have been more proactive with their guests.
Excellent 10.0
Highly recommend Hatchers Manor, I stayed with 2 girlfriends as we had a 40th to go to close by. The owners were amazing, we turned up early and they were out getting supplies but after a quick phonecall we were in our room. They actually encourage booking in early which is rare. Our room was gorgeous and equipped with everything we needed. View over the property from our room was stunning, it was clean and the beds very comfortable. Would love to go back for a romantic night with my partner and try the restaurant. No complaints
Okay 4.0
On entering the room it had a strong odour of dead mouse !! The bathroom however was clean and very large It suited our needs as we had our pet with us Could do with a revamp and new linen and decor
Okay 4.4
Would not recommend this run down place - absolutely ghastly.
Good 6.0

Okay 4.0
Pros: The restaurant in the hotel was superb. The food was excellent and the service was great.
Cons: We only paid $85 for the room per night and so didn't expect a great room for that money, but it was definitely below average. The room looked like something out of the 1950's and not in a good way. The beds were old and just a foam mattress on top of a board base. There was some re-decoration happening in some of the rooms, so perhaps they were upgrading facilities.
Good 7.0
Pros: Clean and good location. Reasonably priced.
Cons: Room a little small and some traffic noise.
Good 7.0
Pros: Perfect location for a early start on the Eastern shore the next morning Friendly bar with excellent pub meals and good beer specials
Cons: Rooms are outdated but for 85 a night I can’t really complain. Everything worked

Excellent 8.0
Pros: the view of the harbour was amazing from the restaurant, rooms were small but clean and very warm and water in the showers was hot, great value for money the food and the view was great but the room are just value for money
Cons: it was value for money so you cant complain
Good 7.1
rooms are old and small but clean and serviceable, restaurant looked good but service was slow, only ordered mains and it took 40 min for steak and grilled fish with only 4 tables to serve in the whole place when the food finally got there we had 2 steaks instead of what was ordered and for around 200 grams of steak at over 30$ a plate it was tough and grisly. Eat elsewhere but good budget hotel.
Good 7.9
the room was quite ok for one night, which is all we required.
