Hotels near Hong Kong Airport

Pros: Really beautiful hotel. Jaw dropping surroundings. Usual excellent Disney service. HK gets Disney.

Cons: The only negative was cost of food in the hotels.

Pros: Great hotel with indoor access to the Metro from within the hotel through the attached shopping mall.

Pros: staff where efficient and rooms where a good size. The Hotel is on top of an outlet mall right by the airport so convenient location.

Cons: The restaurant was like a cattle market with no one queuing and little organisation (more the fault of the people than the hotel) Also the price per night was extortionate.

Pros: Great location, easy to get in the MTR and has a free shuttle to the airport.

Cons: Everytime I stay here I come away with a bad cough. I have a feeling there is a lot of mold in the air conditioning and it is causing this. No matter what room I’ve stayed in, I end up with a cough after staying here.

Cons: It's location was a bit difficiult. You have to take a bus to the train station. The airport bus is $3.50 USD, not bad but it's crowded at times. There is a free bus to the train station that ... but, again, it's a bus ride involved with every place you need to go.

Pros: Accommodating staff. If your children like disney characters I guess this would be the place to stay, since you see them walking around the hotel premises quite often.

Cons: choices of restaurant and prices, you are pretty much stuck with 3 restaurants inside the hotel. There aren't really any other choices to eat.

Pros: Great airport hotel. Despite being next to the airport you don't hear (but you do see) the planes taking off and landing. Staff is great. Will stay here again.

Cons: shuttle to/from airport is only every 20 minutes so it can be a longish wait, especially if you just miss it.

Cons: Check-in hassle: my husband made reservation for me & our son and took forever for them to give me the room — they wanted to call him halfway around world like I was scamming him! Annoying for tired travelers. Shower drain was clogged, and tons of hair came up into the tub. Gross!

Pros: Very nicely designed and finished rooms. Soundproofing from the airport could be better. Best point was that the very well apppointed and large "executive" lounge had a large furnished balcony for we few leppers who enjoy a drink and a smoke!

Pros: Shuttle buses to airport, Tung Chung and Disneyland were great. We used the bus service very frequently and found it always on time and very convenient.

Cons: Paying separately for breakfast and internet. Buffet breakfast and internet connection should be included in the price.

Pros: Service was excellent and access to and from the airport was easy and convenient. Facilities in the room were very good, I cant think of anything that would be needed and not provided.

Pros: The rooms were nice and quite big by Asian standards. The best feature is the view of the airport. Watching the planes and trains coming and going on the water. Fascinating.

Cons: Not near anything but the airport, but the convenience to the airport is the draw. Restaurant selection is limited.

Cons: Check in extremely slow and inefficient. Airport transfer not efficient on arrival - ok on departure. Internet access not user friendly and should be free in a business hotel! Service in casual restaurant not attentive.

Cons: The hotel needs restoration badly. I had to move rooms after check in because the room I was given smelled like mold. Second room wasn’t much cleaner, but didn’t have a moldy smell. Not worth it for the balcony, it’s nothing like the picture on here.

Pros: It's basically in the terminal. The location is perfect for layovers. It's also very clean.

Cons: For about $200 a night, the facility is a bit out of date.

Pros: This is the best convenient location attached to the airport. You can take a short 8 minute walk from Terminal 1 or the airport express MTR to the hotel. There is a solid gym and the atrium has a HSBC bank and cafes. The airport has additional food courts for you to pick from. The food options at Marriott nearby by comparsion was much more limited (I also stayed there) by selection and when the stores were open.

Cons: This was a solid choice overall. I would rate it at the 4 star level rather than 5 star though given the room and facilities. It lacked the touch of luxury (products, design, nice showers) at other 5 star hotels.

Pros: Client focused-staff; responsive and quick for special requests (e.g. additional bottled water) We checked out many hours before our flight out, but we were still welcomed to use of toilet at the lobby/reception area. We were also able to stay at the restaurant near the reception. Very convenient location due to accessibility to the airport.

Pros: Very convenient location if you want to stay at the airport. You can just walk to the end of the terminal and follow the signs for the hotel, it’s connected to the airport. Hotel had several bars and restaurants in the ground floor. Easy to find food to eat, but a bit pricey as you might expect.

Cons: Rooms were clean, but nothing special. You pay for the convenience of being able to stay at the airport. The hotel room was clean, and reminded me of a main line hotel chain in the US.

Cons: The facilities come across as a little old. A renovation is due. And a sports bar with EPL games on.

Cons: transportation not good. Schedule for Shuttle bus to nearest shopping area is not good. The first of the schedule is 10:30am and at times is full and we had to take a bus or taxi. But then the next one is scheduled at 12:00 noon (1.5 hr later). Last on the schedule is at 9:15pm.

Cons: On both stays, the room air-con did not seem to work. The air was stuffy and rancid despite the thermostat being adjusted to the coldest and with the maximum blast.

Cons: Everything is expensive to the point od being a rip-off. A one minute phone call to China cost $8.00 U.S. A soft drink was $6.00. Who needs a five star hotel for a few hours sleep. The airport authority should allow some competiton like a 3 star hotel.

Pros: we liked that it was by the beach, the staff was curious, and the shuttle ran to Kowloon and Central on the hour every hour.

Pros: Best hotel swimming pools I've ever seen: a kiddie pool with water slides and an enormous, well maintained adult/older kid pool at a temperature suitable for laps. There is also a nice long public beach. Luxurious feel throughout the building and grounds, yet very kid friendly. We got very good rates by booking early. Dining options and a decent small grocery store a short walk away. Hotel dining is quite good, but pricey.

Cons: Access to Hong Kong's excellent public transit is less than convenient. A short taxi ride into Tuen Mun gives access to lots of shopping, dining, and bus and rail connections. The Hotel's shuttle is a bit expensive (by HK standards).

Pros: Excellent view of the Bay and Marina. Good Hotel bus service to/from the Airport and downtown

Cons: Castle Peak is some distance from Central or Kowloon (about 45 minutes) but the Hotel do provide a good bus service to compensate

Pros: Even the hotel was classed as a 4 star hotel. The size of the hotel is very impressive. During my 9 days stay, the room is very comfortable and kept very clean. Staff friendly in most cases and very efficient.

Cons: 1) There are no cook to order hot food room service after 10.30pm. 2) There are only sandwiches and cold platers available between midnight and 6am. 3) Breakfast does not serve until 6.30am. 4) Room decors is aging and need some attention. 5) Poor sound-proofing 6) Room was not allocated according to my wishes stated in the confirmation

Pros: This hotel has a good harbor view and the afternoon tea set is not expensive and delicious.

Cons: The bed is little short. I think it's too small for a person more than 180cm tall. And it's too far from downtown. But if you want to take a rest with beautiful harbor view, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Pros: I stayed at the Cove Hostel on an overnight transfer through Hong Kong.

Cons: Reception not open in the morning so it was a bit unclear how to order a taxi to get to the airport. Fortunately another guest helped me. I don't speak Cantonese and the person on reception on arrival did not speak much English, so I had a hard time communicating.

Pros: It's not an amazing hotel for sure, but it's an amazing deal. Very cheap and the near the airport (25 minute taxi ride) so if you need to crash there for a night it's great. And, for the price, I was kind of surprised at how beautiful the area is. It's right on the beach. When I booked it...I literally just needed a roof to sleep under before my next flight...so I went cheap...and I was very surprised at how beautiful of a location this is. Wished I could have hung out there for a day.
