The location proximity to highways, the parking lots are all around and bar is open most of the times
Stff told us wrong times for breakfast and were not as friendly as expected, toilets are very old, could use a renovation, its not and no AC in the rooms
Internet access SUCKS !!!
clean free car park Calm Coffee machine and water
The internet access is a RIP OFF !!!! Free of charge, the line is 512 K which is just ridiculeous in the 21rst century. The premium access is charged 10 euros per 24 hours for a promised 100 Mb line...I paid and I had 3 Mb !!!! Despite a complain, nothing back ! the bar is also very limited :(
The fresh orange Jose in the reception desk
The bath towel is old and bad smell , toilet is small , the building is very old but the furniture is new
It was near the location where I have a course
Breakfast is too expensive, and wifi is not free. It would be nice if it would be included.
There was a problem in that they had not booked a triple room, but this was sorted with minimal fuss in that they gave us an extra room for free. We were travelling with children, and although the menu etc did not have children;s options, and we were worried about being out of place at dinner, the restaurant staff were really kind and brought free ice cream and noodles for our younger children and made us feel at home. Nice to have swings and slide outside for them to play on too. Rooms reasonably spacious - quite nosiy from car park and main road, but no problem for us. Located just across the road from the fantastic Luisenpark, where we spent a whole day.
The swimming pool was really nice but very cold! The hotel was further away from the main shops and restaurants than we expected, but a nice 15-20 min walk (through the amazing Wasserturm and fountain square - you must see the fountain at night).
The Mercure Mannheim am Friedensplatz is a few steps from the most important sites for city and business travelers (Congress Center Rosengarten, SAP Arena, Water tower, Luisenpark). 180 cozy & comfy rooms, 10 meeting rooms with daylight, 120 on-site barrier-free parking spaces, elegant lobby bar, restaurant + sun terrace leave no wish of business travelers, attendees and tourists unfulfilled in the hotel.
