Pros: Beautiful, artistic, very nice decor.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a gorgeous Riad with beautiful furnished rooms and great views. Breakfast and dinner was served at the pool in a lovely courtyard. The food was delicious. The whole decoration of the Riad is stunning in Berber culture. I was welcomed by Fatima, the owner and Karim. They took the time to talk to all guests! Fatima introduced me to a great travel agent ( Dessert Dreams), so I was able to take unforgettable trips . At the beginning I got sick (stomach virus) and they organised a doctor, Karim went and bought all medication late at night. They brought tea and special cooked food to my room. I was lucky, I stayed at this place! It is small, so you meet other guests. We all had great conversations. The court yard and the pool are an oasis! I would always go back to this place! Thanks again for everything, Fatima and Karim, you made this trip very memorable!
Excellent 9.0

Pros: Excellent place. Lovely staff and exceptional delicious food. Very comfortable and quiet place. I will definitely come again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We got wonderful service and accommodations at Dar Bergui! Highly recommend
Okay 5.0
Pros: The pool area was great! Breakfast was excellent. The woman who prepared dinner and breakfast is an excellent cook. Light switches and outlets near the bed. The room was large and appeared clean. Quiet location with parking on site.
Cons: My wife was bitten several times by something that caused marks and required a trip to the pharmacy. Not really walkable to anything useful, but much was within easy driving distance. Quirky property - they didn't want any outside food or drink, but provided no water or tea. We had a relatively expensive dinner but had no water or napkins (odd).

Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast is excellent, more than we could eat. Very nice view of the valley and the kasbah
Cons: We found some hair in one of the pillows. Access is a little tricky but it's alright.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Djenna was wonderful and we loved to understand berber style, the rooms are lively and you hear the birds in the old kasbah immersed in loveliness
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location. We were able to experience a bit the labyrinthe of a Morrocan neighborhood.
Cons: The lack of good hygiene in the establishment. In the fee price breakdown you will see they charge a cleaning fee for 20€, however I did not feel, smell nor ser it in the hotel. When you claim a cleaning fee, and I don't mind paying, it should be obvious. We had a hard time sleeping because the room we stayed in was not passable for the word "clean". There was a small bed for my child, we sat on it and smelled that the pillows were not washed and it smelled like they were in the closet for years, that old smell. We were disgusted because my daughter was supposed to sleep in it and they didn't even put clean covers on it. Also the carpets in the room were dirty and stained. Also, in the bathroom, my husband saw a bunch of hair strands from different guests ( due to the different color) hanging on the ceiling, we suppose women staying had their hair stuck on the ceiling while drying it and the hotel staff is not bothered to clean it. And the bath towels smelled like cigarettes. You enter the room and it is quite obvious that it heavily lacks cleaning. The breakfast was ok, there were viennoiserie, french pastries however the coffee was terrible. Also, in the room we stayed, there was a very weird sexual photo that we thought was inappropriate to hang in a hotel where children can stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great little find among the backstreets - quaint and comfortable rooms set upstairs over an open living area filled with books and trinkets. Jmia’a looked after us by giving us a choice of rooms, walking us to the restaurant we picked for dinner, providing a delicious breakfast and explaining to us a little about her life and history. Recommended.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely original house which has been in the same family for years. Delightful hostess who treated us like one of the family; we were there on New Year’s Eve and though there was nothing planned we ended up joining with the family in music and good cheer.
Cons: It was freezing!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The Riad is so beautiful... They also have a terrasse with a great view.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything in this place was simply amazing - from being warmly greeted by the owner, to delicious dinner she cooked for our family. Rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to functional detail, everything was in excellent working condition. Yet it felt like visiting a relative at home - so many remarkable touches in this riad, which, as we understood, belong to the owner's great-grandparents. Views from the windows and rood terrace are breathtaking - so much worth the visit!!!
Cons: Finding may not be easy - riad is located centrally, yet off the main road. Once we called the riad, the owner helped us navigate to it - location is hidden from the main road, but this made it even more appealing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Warm reception with a typical marrocain tea. Amazing breakfast, fresh and with a lot of options. The terrace is really nice with sofas and small tables where we can chill and enjoy. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Recommended
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful accommodation in the oldest part of Warzazat. Very nice staff, the possibility to arrange a trip to Ait Ben Haddou, Rose valey and film studios. Excellent breakfast on the roof riad with spectacular views of the valley.

Pros: The property is very easy to locate in Ouarzazate. The facilities are old, but they are very clean and very well-kept. Breakfast was very good. The owner was extremely welcoming and helped me with an issue involving my passport; I am very thankful for his willingness to sort it out for me.
Cons: The air conditioning in the room was inadequate; the room was quite hot.
Excellent 8.0

Excellent 8.0
Pros: - good location - helpful staff - wifi was really good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We stayed in the hotel for only one night. Hotel has a good location if you are coming with rent a car (as we did). They also have private parking, which we could use. We were the only guests in the hotel during our stay. Carrefour market is in walking distance and many banks are near-by if you need cash. The staff was kind - especially the manager, who also spoke good English. Our requests were fulfilled. We stayed on one of the upper floors and our luggage was brough to our room for us (there is no elevator). The room was pretty small, but the double bed was decently sized, there was also a desk which was useful for eating. There is a small fridge in the room, but it only cooled the drinks for a couple of degrees. The AC worked ok, but it could be quiter. You can get food and drinks delivered to your room, which was great for us as we were unfortunately sick. The prices are also ok for a hotel.
Cons: One of the employees at the reception knew almost no English. The rooms would benefit from some renovation, especially the bathroom. The windows offered little sound proofing. As we were only guests, we would appreciate a room upgrade as we gotten it in some other hotels with few guests.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very spacious room with big bed, private bathroom and even a couch, terrace with a view on the city and very friendly and helpful stuff.
Cons: Although on Booking.com was information that the hotel have washing machine and a kitchen, when we arrived and asked stuff about that there were none of that things. Also, one light in the room was not working due to some circuit problems, which made the room pretty dark.
Good 7.0
Pros: Hotel has all the basic amenities you need. And it's well located at a walking distance to the city center, the CTM station and the grand taxi station to go to Aït Ben Haddou
Cons: Communication with the front desk staff was difficult. I don't know if she was new to the job or we just got lost in translation. The mini fridge in the room wasn't working well. Our drinks never got cold even though it was set on high level.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Said, the receptionist, was really kind with us, the only positive thing
Cons: The reception when we arrive didn't understand us, because only speak French (no English, no Spanish). It was supposed that they can put a washmachine with our clothes and they can't, we choose this place because of it and it was not possible. The credit card machine didn't work. They offered us a cup of tea as welcome, and we had to pay 30 dh later... We contract breakfast and dinner included in the price. The dinner was in the restaurant next to the hotel, we only can choose pizza or tajin and drink, not dessert, they serve us but 30-40 min later they start to close the restaurant and we couldn't finish our meal... So surrealist :( They asked us when we would like to have breakfast, we answer at 8h because we wanted to travel as soon as possible, finally we arrive at 8:00 in the morning and the restaurant was close, we had to wait until 8:20 to have breakfast, and it was cooked by the receptionist and the cleaning woman... They apologised to us... A disaster in our opinion
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and comfortable room , nice stuff they went above and beyond to help me .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Good 6.0
Cons: the bottle of water 1L ciel is 15 dh . are you serious!!! like i'm in the airport.normally the bottle is 6dh. so it was a scam .. so pay attention of this...

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cozy place. Amazing service and helpful staff. Authentic rooms and close to Atlas pictures studio
Good 7.0
Pros: The property is modern and clean
Cons: The room was very small. The shower was awful. I had to hold the shower head to avoid flooding the tiny bathroom. The stuff is not particularly welcoming
Good 6.0
Pros: All good
Cons: Road from main road to the hotel very bad makes you feel that the hotel is bad it will take time to feel that the hotel is nice
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very charming rooms and overall setting
Cons: After 4 days breakfast got a bit repetitive
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Generally good value for money and location meant it was ideal for a single night stop-over for a motorcycle tour. There was a relatively well stocked bar.
Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable and the setting rather inauthentic. Buffet meals meant a bit of competition with other guests for the fresher things.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Extremely clean hotel - everything was spotless, including bathroom. Breakfast good. Staff very professional. Bed/sheets very comfy indeed. Great for an overnight.
Cons: May be a little too far from town centre for some. Parking a little confused on arrival as to the precise location on waste land just across the street (security seems OK).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice. Clean. Comfortable. Great staff. Good breakfast.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the staff are very helpful especially the two guys who work in the kitchen or restaurant and are the night receptionist. they were very hospitable and accommodating.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good place The best the staff
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The environment was very nice to walk around. The area around the pool impressive.
Cons: Food. Hugely overpriced for the poor quality. Having a buffet style for so few guests caused the food to dry out for breakfast and dinner. Lucky found other options.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The overall experience was great. Our group received complimentary upgrades as they happened to be available. The rooms and facilities were superb and the hotel is simply gorgeous. If we were to ever Ourzazate again, would not hesitate to stay here again.
Cons: Might have been a bit on the expensive side, but it is expected as it is a proper hotel with excellent facilities.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Generally good service, large hotel with a lot of facilities
Cons: Room rate and f&b was somewhat overpriced when compared to similar properties in the city
Excellent 10.0
Amazing staff, Personal very accommodating
Good 6.3
Pros: Clean and reasonably nice.
Cons: We were upgraded to a suite, which was nice, but it was freezing cold and the aircon wasn’t up to warming it up properly.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice property, loved the berber houses with rooms.
Cons: Standard luxury hotel.

Good 6.0
Pros: The hotel is uniquely beautiful; great staff and good food.
Cons: The only problem: the showers. Low water pressure, and little warm water. It is almost impossible to take a shower.
Good 6.7
Pros: Clean, good reception. We had an hamburguer with potatos that was really good. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Low water pressure in the shower. One of the masseuses was not skilled, seemed like she was not trained. The restaurant and basically the whole hotel closes at 23h. We had to pay the massages in cash. The common areas are not used in the beat way possible.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: It was the first stop after 3 days in the desert so it was simply amazing to have a hot water shower and a heater in the room. The heater worked great - we loved it. Really heated up our room in the cold Moroccan nights (around 2 degrees) Dinner and breakfast was great. We really liked it.
Cons: the hot water could have been warmer/ didn’t get very hot and the showerhead didn’t fit perfectly into the fittings- so you had to hold the shower head on your hand while showering. For a price of 200€/night this should all work nicely.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Boutique hotel. amazing decor. Great breakfast.. we had dinner there which was also very good. Albert, the owner speaks perfect english (among other languages) gave us a great welcome and took the time to have a chat. quiet room and comfortable king bed
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room Alexander the Great is everything you would expect, spacious room with super comfy bad, huge bathroom with columned bath tub, golden ornaments. A little bit kitsch, but definitely high level of craftsmanship throughout the whole hotel. Rich breakfast and super nice staff
Cons: Perfectly happy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was superb! Some of the best food on our trip!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Just loved it! Strange, but I guess you will enjoy it or not.
Cons: Food was not great, but still liked the whole idea and fun place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the decor, the pool and out door area, and mostly we loved the staff! They were kind and welcoming, and very accommodating, too.
Cons: The lunch and dinner prices were quite high for the area at €30. We chose to eat out in town.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I enjoyed my stay here so much. The hotel is absolutely stunning, the room was very clean and comfortable with toiletries and towels provided. The A.C. worked perfectly. There is a tv too. There is also a fridge in the room and a balcony. Wfi worked great in the room and all other areas. There are elavators within the hotel. Location was fantastic with a Carrefour across the street and cafes not so far away. It is on the main street in Ourzazate about 5 minutes in a taxi from Supratours bus station. Easy to flag down a taxi outside at very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. I enjoyed the outdoor pool area where there is an aviary with lovely birds, seating area with a bar and restaurant. There is live music entertainment in the evening that was great The buffet breakfast has everything you can think of and the food is amazing. In the evenings I had the chicken & beef tajine and they were both delicious. I would totally recommend this hotel, it is more like a palace and hope to visit again next year. Thank you for my wonderful stay.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Thankful for the hospitality 🙂, Peaceful and elegant hotel with excellent location. Clean, comfortable room. Definitely worth visiting.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Car Parking sometimes full
Okay 4.0
Cons: Could not find the Hotel as there was nothing on the location shown on the map on Booking.com. We tried the GPS coordinates but with no success. After nearly an hour of driving in and out of every street in the area, we called the hotel for directions. A person who did not speak any English answered the phone. We picked up the words "Hopital Bougafer" from what he said and we found the hospital. We decided to ask the hotel next to it, and it was indeed the hotel we have been looking for. But with a DIFFERENT NAME on it: "RIAD SALAM HOTEL". Had we not callec the Hotel, it would not have been possible to find it. Apart from that unacceptable fact, the hotel looks and feels 1950s in every aspect. It feels like forgotten in time. Very old, neglected and tired.
Good 7.0
Pros: The pool was good breakfast also
Cons: The twin beds were not confortable and a lot of mostiquos
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The room was quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was average.
Cons: The hotel has no signs anywhere as to it's location or on the building. Google Maps and Booking.com both had incorrect locations. I drove around for 1 1/2 hours trying to find this place. This place in located in Riad Salam if you decide to try to stay here. The buildings and rooms are tired and run down. There are rooms that are locked down and boarded up. My room had no waste basket, a broken tv and no foot towel. I changed rooms and the other room had no hot water and plaster left over on all the walls in the bathroom and no foot towel. You will have no internet access in your room. Only available in the lobby. The location is listed as being on Mohhamed V road when it really is on a side street that runs into this main street. This place is cheap and you get what you pay for with a rundown facility. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anybody. Find another place in Ouarzazate.
Good 6.0
Pros: A lovely, varied breakfast. The room was very large and there were enough pillows. A lot of light sources in a room which actually didn't get much sunlight. My favorite part was the magnificent garden. Quiet.
Cons: There was an unpleasant odor in the room from an unknown source. The shower head is broken and sprays water everywhere in the bathroom. The floor and carpet were dusty.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Very very difficult to find the hotel, took me 30 minutes. I only found it in the end because one of the local kids jumped onto the back of my motorbike and directed me there. Ouzazate sat nav style. Very good hotel though.

Good 7.0
Pros: The room was small and basic but just right. No frills no "stand in the ways". I wish there were more hotels like in Morocco
Cons: The staff was much less friendly then in other hotels The coffee for breakfast was Nescade, reconstituted cofffee. Sorry, this is the 21st century. You can't serve Nescafe and expect people to like it
Poor 1.0
Cons: youyr's service nooooooooot gooooood
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very good location
Good 6.8
Nice hotel with friendly staffs and clean rooms.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Ibis was quite a reliable choice when you don't know the average conditions of local hotels. And this one was also functional.
Cons: The quality of the breakfast was not at the price level.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Les employés sont courtois et serviables.
Cons: Ils ont chargé une taxe d'hébergement de 9%, 40 dhs, à notre départ. Pourtant j'ai été chargé sur ma carte de crédit pour une taxe.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location! Parking! Helpful staff Special thanks to Fatiha!
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Location
Cons: It's funny when you read the reviews. Says the lady at reception is cold. She is. Say the place is run down. It is. You would think they would read the comments and make changes. I'll offer a few. Clean the pool, lots of bugs. Replace the missing tiles in the bottom of the pool. Make up the rooms. We stayed two nights and the hotel which was almost a ghost town and there was still zero maid service provided. Be responsive, be cordial. Sincerely - Your guest

Excellent 8.3
Pros: The room was good , good water pressure, a good breakfast buffet, the staff even ask if extra omelette or anything else I may request , good touch .
Cons: Small room as before .
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Nothing at all. See the dislike section!
Cons: In one word: disgusting. Firstly, the rooms and facilities of the hotel are NOTHING like the pictures shown on booking.com. I am outraged by the deception both the hotel and booking.com have conducted in tricking customers to believe the hotel looks one way when in reality it’s completely different. When we first arrived, we were hit by a smell of fish in the lobby.. already a bad indicator of the cleanliness of the hotel. Upon checking in, the hotel didn’t have a card machine, and we had to manually fill in forms as if we live in the year 1762 or some none sense. Then, the receptionist was so rude, unhelpful, and always answered us with “I don’t know” everytime we asked her a question. After getting the keys to our rooms, we were completely shocked at how different the rooms looked to the pictures... and then after careful attention, we noticed how dirty, old and filthy the room was. There was mold growing out of every corner, there were soap stains around the sink, everytning was old and squeaky, the chair in the room was wobbly, and the towels were grey in colour. And honestly, we have no idea how we didn’t catch any bedbugs from sleeping in their disgusting beds. I expect that booking.com evaluate the genuinity of this hotel, as it is an utter deception and lie. The breakfast was gross and the whole breakfast room smelt like fish and Mould.... I had to go to the nearby hotel just to have breakfast!! Worst booking experience ever...
Okay 4.4
Rooms are comfortable , no balconies , bathrooms need updating, beds not comfortable , breakfast? What breakfast .. it’s ok if you like salad and rice and steamed vegetables for breakfast .. it was so poor we took breakfast at a coffee shop and that says it all really!!!
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Terrible
Cons: Every thing!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location Staff Swimming pool The view
Good 6.3
Pros: Beautiful Ouarzazate panoramic view
Cons: The staff at the front desk very rude at checking , for a 4 stars hotel , very bad service , no wifi in the rooms , the mini fridge is located right next to the toilets seat , very poor breakfast ,
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: All the rooms has issues and not clean as well the whole hotel
Okay 5.4
Pros: The pool and the location.
Cons: Everything is in poor shape and maybe my expectations from 2011 played a big part. The hotel went down the wire. It was one of the best in 2011. The only good things remaining are: the friendly staff and the pool. One of the bath tubs (we reserved two rooms) was shaking and dangerous for my mother who was operated on her knees. Some of the tiles in the rooms fell partially off; the birds were flying freely in the dining room during breakfast with whatever diseases they were carrying on to land on the meager breakfast offerings. The sofas in the rooms and waiting hallway were discolored from wear and tear. We were disappointed to say the least.
