The location is great! Not on the beach but not far if you take a taxi or bus. Plenty of places to get traditional Thai food, chinese, or your typical American food.
Being a festival week, the hotel was pretty with guests. Nothing that I didn’t like about the hotel itself.

The friendly staffs. It's not located on main street which provides quiet quality, and it only takes 3-5 mins walk to the main area. The decor and atmosphere are very nice.
The lighting in the room is a bit dim. Some parts on the second floor are refurbishing. Also it'd be nice if they could offer breakfast option.

The neighborhood is perfect for those who love history. Since it's a bit off the major tourist sites and beach, I recommend to spend a night (esp. the weekend). Nothing to complain about for the price I paid.

This is the oldest hotel in Phuket. It is well preserved and has lovely character. Our 4 nights were pleasant. The location is 110 percent for proximity to restaurants at every price range. We did a lot of walking in the town from this central location. You can make yourself tea or coffee anytime in their lounge. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. They are there to help you.
Because of its age and lots of beautiful wood in its structure you can hear the sounds of people in the hall or next room. I would still stay here again, but this was the only negative. Rooms are on second floor, but they will carry your bags up, no elevator in case you require that.
