The pick up was a great service, very efficient. The drop off car park was a bit confusing with the Alamo sign not apparent because it had been bent over.

friendly reception in particular those showing the car and receiving the car back. The very big disappointment was on the actual price we had to pay FAR excessive of anything we had experienced before.. not the 339$ but 859 (hence nearly x3 !!!) !! => as insurance was not included and as we needed to have a set of snowchains in the car (not weather-wise required but as we were staying in a house slightly uphill in an area where such chains must be available in the car). Anyway, we paid double for 1-week rental compared to 1-year ago with another company for a 2-week rental (at Bergerac airport) including full insurance.... In conclusion: we will NEVER make such booking again (via Kayak or Budget).

Didn’t have the car at the specified time. No explanation in using electric car. The car was awful and wouldn’t charge.

Pros:

Staff was friendly, car was relatively cheap for a Mercedes Class C.

Cons:

I was scammed into paying in dollars instead of euros. Contract said I was informed and agreed but it's false, I never agreed to have the car billed in dollars at an appaling rate which was 0.81€ for $1 when the actual rate was 0.90€ for $1 at the time of purchase. I'm not impressed by these practices. Also the car was dirty.

Picking up car went very smoothly and everything clearly communicated. Drop off was effortless. Value was excellent and did not get landed with any hidden charges.
