Stonehouse By Ipek is a great choice for a stay in Selcuk. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. There's a children's pool, and rooms offer 24-hour room service and DVD players.
Pros: The setting is beautiful, the staff so accommodating, the room extremely comfortable, the pool refreshing, breakfast charming and the unique character definitely adds to the total experience. We could have stayed longer!!
I felt I was at a camp retreat center. Felt I was roughing it rather than in a hotel. For the price I paid, not worth the price. Also could not get good sleep due to loud motor sound coming from the building (sounds like an airconditioning unit going full blast next door). Tried to communicate this with two staff but they did not understand me and the manager (only one with English) was gone the whole time. Room was louder than being in an airplane. I am not exaggerating. The highlight was horseback riding and swimming pool usage. The hotel has so much potential but not with the current manager. She was also insensitive and put my address as CHINA in capital letter when I clearly showed her my US passport and I was not a Chinese.Pros: Two grounds keepers were extreme friendly and tried to do everything to help us and make our stay comfortable. Spoke with owner over the phone and he arranged airport transportation and also tried to upgrade our room when was told that room was small.Cons: 1. The hotel manager available only on the first day then was gone. I was left with grounds keepers who spoke no English for two days. 2. The manager was not friendly and charged me upon arrival. 3. Place not well-kept as pictured.
