Loved the room and bathroom. Very spacious. Breakfast staff were great, friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back.
Lighting in the room was only 3 lamps. Hard to read on dim light
Breakfast was good
Disappointed dining room not open for dinner.
The breakfast was excellent, staff couldn't do enough. Ambience lovely.
Only shortcoming was on arrival. We hadn't been to the hotel before and after checking in we were just pointed off in the general direction of the lifts. No help with bags etc. It was our anniversary and I had noted that on our booking., I made a request for some help in having a bottle of sparkling wine to be waiting in our room after our long trip from the country. Wasn't expecting a complementary bottle at all, and didn't want a fanfare, but no real effort was given to assist us with making that happen - just advised us to refer to the in hotel menu when we arrived and by the time we did arrive we didn't bother. Not a real issue but there was a time when a hotel would help with that little special extra attention, so it took the shine off our arrival. The rest of our stay was lovely.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast lovely. Location - Fantastic, loved old world charm and furniture
