Great views
Construction was going on
Overrated
Breakfast buffet
Construction around hotel is terrible. Gym and pool are old and needs to be updated. This hotel is the worst four seasons I’ve ever seen.
Extra attention.
They need to replace the little ottoman in the room with a 2nd chair. The king size pillows are too long and too heavy.
Very convince
Great stay, highly recommended.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, 10 minute walk to the opera house. You can see the harbour bridge from the hotel street. They have FREE money exchange (US dollar to AD dollar). Super convenient.
Great Stay right near the Circular Quay Waterfront
Location, service and ammenities were great. Staff was very welcoming
Facade could use an update but the inside is very nice
Once in a lifetime
I've been coming to Sydney my whole life, and always wanted to stay somewhere with a harbour view. (Family lives way out of town.) This was the ultimate harbour experience, waking up to the sunrise over the Sydney Opera House is something I will never forget. Spent more time in a hotel room than in any other, just watching the view. Staff were friendly and very accommodating without being either sycophantic or condascending, top job all round.
Overzealous reception staff
Room very clean and comfortable
My second reception experience - arrived early and room not ready. Very helpful chap checked me in, checking photo ID and giving me spa key so I could freshen up after long flight. Promised a text when room ready and promised this would be within 2 hours. Returned from run to see if room ready having not received text in spite of two and a half hours having elapsed. Female receptionist insisting in seeing ID again which seemed utterly superfluous to requirements. When asked why I hadn't received a text she said that the "room has just this moment become ready". Amazing coincidence. ended up being late for an appointment because she was so reluctant to relinquish the key without me having to go and find my photo ID even though it was obvious I had already checked in and knew all the details.
Great business or special occasion hotel
Beautiful room, comfortable bed, great fitness center. Location was exactly what I wanted and needed for a couple of days in Sydney...close to everything! Felt safe, and was treated wonderfully by all staff.
I REALLY have an issue with the use of so many plastic water bottles. It is nice to have them in the room for many, I know...and to have them to carry around, as well. But...in the gym? C'mon. Use a filtered water system, or at least have one available so that when you run out of your own water, you can refill it without having to use yet another plastic water bottle. For the cost of the bottles and the disposal, reusable ones could probably be provided to every guest.
Fantastic!
Simply everything. The hotel is a stones throw away from Circular Quay, and is in walking distance to the iconic Sydney Opera House. There are lots of awesome shopping venues all around; with food galore and convenience stores to choose from. There are several tours that have starting points only steps away; including ferry tours and dinner tours. I highly recommend the harbour view rooms. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. You really can't go wrong with this hotel.
Absolutely nothing not to like.
The front desk staff sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne to put room because we were celebrating our honeymoon. They even included a very nice personalive card, too!
Ideal location for visiting Sydney sites and restaurants. Helpful staff.
comfy bed, good breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff
very small rooms, not also spotless clean (bathroom), not much bath products, no fresh bottle of water, no slippers etc.....
Location was fabulous. Harbour view a real bonus for country visitors. Luxury at an affordable price. Friendly helpful staff.
A little disappointed two members of hotel staff unable to point us in direction of a very well known nearby seafood restaurant. In fact when finally assisted by a doorman we ended up walking 30 mins out of the way when restaurant was in fact a a simple short walk of between 5 -10 mins away from Four Seasons.
the harbour view from the room
Stunning views of Opera House,Harbour and Bridge.Great position from which to explore city.Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing,we had a wonderful stay.
centre of city
Disappointed at being given a ‘Smokers’ room. Were not asked what our preference was regards smokers or non smokers at reception. We assumed, wrongly, that we would be given a non smoking room.
location
they were working on the room next to mine and it was quite noisy
The welcome at the hotel and particularly at Reception was most impressive. Every staff member I encountered was so professional and friendly.
For the price of the buffet breakfast, I have certainly enjoyed better in Sydney city hotels and as I was entertaining a guest one morning, I was a little disappointed with the presentation and the selection.
Every member of staff we encountered was courteous and helpful. The rooms were well appointed & clean and the bed very comfortable. We wanted to extend our stay and the hotel made this very easy.
We really enjoyed every second of our stay and we highly recomend this hotel to any one going to Sydney
Excellent location; friendly hotel stuff; very comfortable room.
One of the features that has helped to make this hotel a popular option is the location. The Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney is located right on the Sydney Harbor, which is one of the most iconic locations in the country of Australia. A range of popular attractions and activities can be found close by, including the city's iconic Opera House.
Visitors will choose from guest rooms and suites at the hotel. There are deluxe rooms and suites, many of which have views of the harbor, the Sydney Opera House, and more. Some of the rooms been remodeled recently. The rooms have a range of different types of amenities, with some of the most popular including marble bathrooms, elegant décor, a dedicated office desk and chair, quality linens, plush bathrobes, and hairdryers.
The hotel itself offers a 24 hour laundry room, covered parking, concierge service, meeting and event spaces, and a heated outdoor pool. Those who are staying at the hotel can also take advantage of the fitness center, which is open around the clock. The hotel also offers an on-site spa. Guests who may want to grab a drink or a bite to eat can head to Mode Kitchen & Bar, Grain Bar, The Cabana, or Lounge 32.
Of course, with the stellar location, there are plenty of other places to consider, as well. These include Café Sydney, The Sydney Cove Oyster Bar and Mr. Wong. Visitors can also launch their adventures into the city from here. Places to consider visiting include the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
