Great location and comfy rooms. Friendly staff. Good cafes and restaurants around the hotel including the Malaysian restaurant in the hotel lobby.
Was not able to check in the morning when I arrived from a long haul flight from Frankfurt which was advised when booking.
Very comfortable room and bed
Lack of place to eat in the hotel
The cleanliness of the room and the staff were beyond reproach. Our room was absolutely huge! There were plenty of places to eat nearby.
The hotel did not have an onsite restaurant for dinner other than a very upscale Japanese place. Be forewarned; if you are here on a Sunday and looking for a nice place to eat in easy walking distance, you are stuck. Everything nearby is closed on Sunday except places in one of the huge multi floor food courts/ shopping malls.
Although we arrived about 9 am after an overnight flight, they let us into our room immediately. The room was good sized, big enough that a roll-away bed could have been added. But we could have used another chair or small table in all that empty space. The building was originally an office building & had an interesting history which was explained in panels on the first floor. The location was close to many of the things we wanted to see, so we were able to walk to them.
There wasn't as much light as we'd like, so we were concerned that black items (e.g., my tablet) would get lost and perhaps left behind if we set them on the black furniture. Breakfast would have cost us an additional $50/day. So we opted to go out to eat each morning for much less.
The pillows were too low and hard! Very uncomfortable!
The room was too small. We would not want to stay in that particular room again!
