7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent room and pool. Short walk to town. Top people
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool. Golden Beach not too far to walk. Free transfers to & from Port. Friendly engaging staff. Comfortable bed. New towels. Room serviced. Great location - close enough to town, but not in it. Would visit again for sure.
Cons: Owners told us on arrival that they had recently taken the property back to run. Was run down in some respects - but there were many things that could have been quite simply “ improved “ a minimal cost. Dead plants around the pool for example. Paint the pool lounges. Breakfast was plain. No fresh salad or vegetables ..... even tomato & cucumber - a Greek staple ! End of season - but still receiving guests - standards should still be kept up.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bright airy room overlooking the sea. Great location; stroll into town or walk to rock/sand beach. Charming staff. Small pool.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, staff, food, pool etc
Cons: The coffee could have been stronger at breakfast -the only (very small) criticism.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, clean hotel, fast check in and check out...... Shortly, everything was perfectly great.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: THE LOCATION WAS GREAT.
Cons: THE ROOM WAS NOT VERY CLEAN THE BATHROOM WAS TINY AND THE SHEETS WERE DIRTY AND THE ROOM WAS NOT AS SHOWN ON THE SITE.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is wonderful. Just this.
Cons: Noisy. Poor quality for breakfast. Room different from the picture and booking. Bed and mattress old and uncomfotable. Don't get fooled by the pics. Staff average at most. Very disappointed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing during our stay! The staff were always so friendly and offered assistance wherever they could. The included breakfast was delicious and included a variety of things. The cleaners were efficient and were in and out without us even noticing- it was lovely to come home to made beds and a clean bathroom!
Cons: The shower did not have curtains or glass and the water went all over the floor. The cleaners had this cleaned up each day before we got home which was great!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for a 5 days at the end of January 2020. Vincenzo is the best host ever and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome, excellent breakfast home made and super clean room. The facilities are very high quality also. The way Vincenzo took care of our stay made us to feel in family. I would recommend it to everybody. We will come back there again when we visit Tinos. Many thanks to all at the Vincenzo. Mirela and Adrian from Bucharest, Romania
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Vincenzo and the staff was really kind . Room was nice and relaxing .Very clean also. And the breakfast..... Unique. Keep likit this way... I’ ll be .... back... :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing and we really enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The staff members are very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are having a nice time. The rooms are elegantly decorated, with traditional details that highlight the island's style. Breakfast was great as well, everything prepared on the spot, with fresh orange juice and pancakes!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was lucky to find this gem open during winter off-off season which meant that I had the place mostly to myself - as well as much of the island of Tinos! The hotel is perfectly situated between the main town square and a nearby beach - but not too close that it’s noisy. They had everything covered such as restaurant, hot tub, mini bar, helpful concierge-like staff, etc. What I loved most were very thoughtful touches all throughout the property - art, mosaics, cozy fireplace nooks, and breakfast with fresh-squeezed juice included when available. I think it’s possible to tell that something is well loved when such care is taken in these details. This is a true multi-generational family property - which was a first for me. Usually I stay at up market corporate hotels. I found the sense of staying with family so much more enjoyable and hospitable. The owner and his staff helped me literally feel safe when the entire island had a power outage for two days by giving me his own coat, helping keep fire going in my room, and checking on my well-being. I can’t say enough! I was in Tinos nearly two weeks and so getting to know the owner, staff, and seeing family working around the property was really awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Tinos interested in staying in town and feeling the real Greek family vibe.
Cons: There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about this property. I would recommend, however, that the property upkeep furniture a bit more in higher end rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincenzo and his staff made me very welcome. Possibly the best host I have met. He really does do everything he can to make your stay the best possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Very clean room and good shuttle service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. The room was super clean (tidied up twice a day!), spacious and well decorated, breakfast was excellent and the owner was very hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend Vincenzo's rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was exceptional!

Poseidonio Hotel - Tinos - Building
4
9.1 Excellent (395 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Poseidonio Hotel in Tinos, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Monument of Elli and Archaeological Museum of Tinos. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is complimentary (available 24 hours), and a ferry terminal shuttle is also provided at no charge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is sweet- you get a small balcony with a table and chairs so you can take in the view. The room was spacious. They can pick you up at the ferry and they have scheduled return trips to the dock. The folks at the front desk are super nice and friendly. The bed is pretty comfortable and they give you some nice shampoo and shower gel. I would stay here again if I visited Tinos.
Cons: If you get a sea view room, these are facing the street which runs right in front of the hotel, so if there are a lot of people in town noise could be an issue. But the walls and door to the balcony seemed thick so I think they would reduce the noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms
Cons: Breakfast room was small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel bus met us at the port and took us back to the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The family room we booked was modern and on the first floor. It was spacious and we had a balcony to the side of the hotel. We sat out on the front balcony in the evening and watched the boats and what’s going on in the town. The hotel was clean throughout. The breakfast in the mornings was continental. The hotel is right on the sea front. There was no thumping music when we visited.
Cons: There was no hot chocolate for breakfast!
Anthea Hotel - Tinos - Pool
5
8.9 Excellent (168 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Anthea Hotel in Tinos, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Vrikastro Beach and Monument of Elli. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours), and a ferry terminal shuttle is also provided at no charge.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean, tidy, well decorated with a lovely pool and restaurant area. The breakfast selection was always of the highest standard. Lunch and dinner was always of a high standard and the service was good.. with friendly bar and restaurant staff. A special mention to the spa - a nice, personal touch.
Cons: Unfortunately the island is subject to quite severe winds in summer months - clearly not the fault of the hotel, however, the noise in the hotel room was relentless and little/if anything had been done to provide barriers to the wind for guest to enjoy the surroundings. The manager and reception staff are polite, however, on a number of occasions the attention to detail was poor. For example, the pool area, bar and restaurant were 'closed' from lunch time throughout the entire afternoon and evening due to a wedding which had been booked in the hotel and staff merely explained that a note had been put on the noticeboard in the entrance area - very frustrating to be a hotel guest, who had booked for 5 nights at the hotel to be physically barred from the hotel facilities for 20% of our time there. Staff seemed to think that there was nothing wrong with this arrangement and actually refused to serve food or drink during the afternoon while they prepared for the 8 pm wedding - leaving us with little option other than to walk or take a taxi to the nearby town of Tinos to quench our thirst, then of course to suffer the noise of the wedding throughout the entire evening, literally a stones throw from our hotel room. The entrance area contained signs promoting services for example 'Tinos Food and Wine Experience', however, when asking about these we were told they were no longer available, it would seem sensible then to remove such advertisements. The hotel manager offered to arrange a 'private historical trip with tasting of local food and wine ' for us with an English speaking guide for 120 euros... which all sounded good in principle.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in beautiful surroundings All facilities on site to make your stay enjoyable Really helpful staff Super clean property with spacious rooms Hire car is needed as it is 2 kilometers from the tinos port alternately if you do not want to drive a return cab fare is about 9 euro They have a courtesy bus for pickups and collection from the port which could be utilized to drop guests at tinos town on a pre arranged schedule
Cons: Beware safe in our room (5) was not attached to anything Safe could have been taken from room with contents if room was broken into Please ensure that the safe is bolted down in your room before leaving passports valuables etc in it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: lovely set-up and very well designed and styled. small and intimate but with enough space. lots of comfortable and quiet seating areas dotted around. very good food, both the breakfast and when we ate lunch there too. excellent staff and brilliant local knowledge that we tapped into. walking distance to the beach which was brilliant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a vegan, I appreciated the oatmeal, fresh fruit, and tomatoes/cucumbers at breakfast; my roommate was very impressed with all the pastries made from scratch. One morning, the buffet featured cooked mushrooms which were absolutely delicious--I wished that they were featured every day. The staff were extremely helpful arranging for a driver to take us around the island and make sure we didn't miss our 1:55 a.m. ferry to another island. They also kindly assisted us with printing out various boarding passes. Loved the architecture, landscaping, pool, and location.
Cons: The wifi was problematical in our roommate, despite many efforts to resolve it. Also, we didn't know that the hotel provided free transportation from the ferry, so we paid a taxi. Perhaps this could be communicated beforehand.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Anthia Hotel were terrific . They were very very helpful in helping me sort where to get a rent a car , best phone service , and other things that I had interest in. This hotel is like " THE LITTLE SECRET UNDER THR RADAR " I would gladly return again .. Thank you to everyone there !

Pros: Lovely, small hotel. Close to the beach. Few tavernas nearby. Staff is very helpful. Easy to rent a car from the hotel.
Cons: We stayed in the end of September and it was quite cold, so it will be nice to have a blanket inside the wardrobe. We were meant to ask for it every day, but after we forgot.

Pros: The owners are extremely friendly and make us feel so welcome, they have such heart warming smiles. They offer free transfer to and from the port, the coffee shop next door has delicious Greek pastry and excellent coffee. The accommodation is just steps away from the pilgrimage church of Virgin Mary, very convenient for pilgrims. The accommodation is just a few minutes walk from the main shopping street, but the room is quiet, has a balcony with seaview and the room is very clean, spacious and well equipped. Very satisfied with this accommodation! Would definitely stay there again.
