|Top route||Newark to Orlando|
All on time. All good.
Well, United surely has not much improved. I flew business one way, return was premium plus which was not too bad. Actually I had more foot space in 20L on the 777. on Business class fliegst service was poor. Not even a welcome drink. Stewardesses seemed somewhat worried about covid(understandable). But they hardly came through isles. The United lounge is just miserable. They really need to take a look at Lufthansa or more to Turkish Air. I wanted to change date of return flight and it would have cost $1200 to rebook???? Wtf. My return flight to Sfo from Fra was only 25% full. Customer service is another thing when calling the service center. 5-6 hrs wait!!?? Unbelievable. Why should I book United again?? I don’t know. Besides being the only non stop from Sfo to Fra besides Lufthansa there is no reason.
The food could have been much better The service was good
it was good thank you
Passengers did not wear masks appropriately and flight attendants did not address it at all. They had us check our bags at the gate for baggie claim despite excess overhead space.
United airlines ground staff at Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi didn't let me board the flight. I am a Candian citizen returninv to canada got my covid-19 rt pcr test done less than 72 hours from my flight from newark to toronto as per the regulations of Canadian Government and also the united airlines app, also uploaded all the documentation and were approved by travel ready centre of united airlines app , my wife talk to one of the representatives over the phone in Canada he said the same that I can board the flight and there will be no problem as I had enough time to get my prc test done at Liberty international airport if required by staff at Newark airport, yet the ground staff ignored all this and didn't let me board the flight and told me to catch a direct flight of some other airline. They themselves are not aware of the rules properly. I had to go back soon as my wife and new born son is alone and nobody to take care of them but United airlines gave me this hassle for no reason and have to come back all the way from New Delhi to Chandigarh make fresh arrangements for travel and have to go to dubai and do all the tests over again. I wish I could rate the experience in negative

On-time landed early too- excellent service around!
While the Crew was great, I am saddened by United Airlines for allowing an obviously sick passenger fly especially in this time of COVID! This passenger flew over 90% of the approximate 2 hour flight with no mask on as required. Not only did he fail to wear his mask as required, he coughed and sneezed without covering his mouth spreading germs to the entire plane, and endangering the health and well-being of those around him in close proximity! He was sweating profusely with the fan above him on full blast and his companion holding a handheld portable fan and well as fanning him with the safety measure placard. As a passenger sitting across from him, the passengers directly in front of him and 2 rows up all looked at one another with disbelief and discomfort! I couldn’t eat or drink for fear of exposing myself to whatever he was coughing and sneezing in the air being recirculated to us all! The crew walked passed him with no discussion until the passenger was in need of oxygen due to difficulties breathing. They provided him a tank to assist in breathing for the last 20 minutes or so of the flight and allowed them to deplane immediately upon landing. But I am so deeply disgusted and offended that the Crew member chuckled with the passenger as he provided an excuse of having allergies! As an immune compromised individual and someone with asthma, the symptoms he exhibited did not align with someone dealing with allergies! His sweaty appearance alone should have ruled that out! I am now in a position to not only get tested for COVID but my family plans for the Thanksgiving holiday are in jeopardy because I have a pregnant daughter-in-law that I must consider! I am no physician nor am I trying to police anyone. I just take seriously the individual responsibility that we all must have navigating our continued health pandemic. It takes a lot of courage to travel and fly on our current environment, even as a vaccinated person, I still fear the possibility of contracting this disease that has taken lives or resulted in long-term illnesses. I worry not only about myself but others on the plane as well-including the crew who are also exposed in the way we were. I wonder if the plane was truly disinfected after his departure with snotty tissues placed through their seats (9a/9b), and I wonder if he were COVID positive will I be notified? It was a horrible experience that makes me question ever flying United Airlines again! American Airlines may pack you like a can of sardines but they consistently reiterate the mask requirement throughout the flight and walk the aisles throughout the flight to ensure all passengers are in compliance (unless they’re eating or drinking). Pros: Didn't make the connection
No flight announcement at airport. Had to ride a bus out to the plane on the tarmac. Other than that great United Service.
Flight was on time, landed early, but sat on the tarmac for over an hour after landing. It was hot
Flight was supposed to be 3 hrs 40 min total with connection. As I left Hartford I got a notice saying my connection is 3 and 1/2 hrs delayed!!! Not happy when I’m eager to get home!!
My favorite airline scored again.
A very nice, clean plane and service was excellent.
Shortage of labor resulted in a one hour delay in take off waiting for baggage to be loaded. With a one hour layover in Denver we nearly missed our flight home - very stressful!
Delay due to no flight attendants were late took one hour to get a drink
Clear attendant at the Logan airport was awful. Rude and inconsiderate to everyone. Let every clear customer in front of every priority United customer. Usually they switch off groups but we were waiting 30 minutes when we were third from the front because every clear customer was let in front of us.
I hate 737 MAX 9 aircraft. I know what a sardine feels like. At least they are fast.
Little mask wearing and no enforcement/reminders by crew. Also, it was extremely hot.
Cabin service in Business Class was super. They announced that alcohol was being served for purchase in Economy Class so some Covid-19 rules are being relaxed. Gate boarding was a bit unusual, i.e., Group 3 & 4 boarded before Group 1, but the Gate Agent was very good about keeping us informed of the changes. Overall, a great flight.
Flight was on time, flight attendants were personable and helpful. Flight attendants were kind, yet very clear about mask requirements.
Great crew; great job boarding on time and arrived on time Entertainment and music offerings not as good as American flights I took last week
Missed this flight because of delays. Ended up in Newark for 24 additional hours. Lovely!
4 hour delay, so booked us on another flight that then was also late, missed our connecting flight. Stuck in Newark for another 24 hours until they could rebook us to finally get home.
A crying baby is never fun on a flight and when it's right behind you..
Having problems connecting with my MacBook Pro. Found later that Safari is no supported and had to use the Firefox or google apps. Could have had that in the available brochures, I did not see it. Also lots of empty seats where UA was trying to sell but would not let the 'lower' class passengers move into them even though we were pilots going into a exit row. Once the door closes they are not going to sell anymore of those seats so why not do 'upgrades' for passengers to the 'bit' more expensive class. I get the first class barrier but when in a cattle car. . . . . . . .
We travelled with our two miniature dachshunds in the cabin. The flight was great; no stress or delays.
Arriving and departing passengers sadly get mingled due to the location of the gates (and how the place is arranged). Caused low level stress. We got through Checked bags and TSA quickly. Do not get to the airport too early! United did not open bag check-in until 11:30 local time and it's not posted anywhere! United's website said they are open KOA from 7:30 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 9PM (which is incorrect). No seating on the insecure side of TSA!
On board United Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x35x22cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the United Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
