The St Regis Bora Bora was a level of service and friendliness that I have never experienced in any other 5-star hotel. Everything is simply seamless and perfect. Stayed in both the over-water bungalow and the reef villa; both are great, but we liked the reef villa more, as it felt very private and the ocean-side yard was large with a pool, hammock, etc. Highly recommend this resort!

Pros (+) Location, large rooms, good food, great staff, floor viewing panels, bicycles, lovely grounds, first rate room service and housekeepers. If we hadn't been spoiled by Six Senses this would be 5 stars!
Cons (-) Concierges and butlers need better coordination. Beverage prices need to come down a notch, overwater bungalows need a mild refresh in their finishes.
