Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was amazing
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The “Viennoiserie” from the master pastry chef onsite.
Cons: the sounds system from the room itself.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were met at the airport and were given very nice suggestions on how to see some of Bora Bora before we were shuttled to the resort (the cost of boat transfers is pricy). They took our luggage for us. Once we arrived at the island, we were extended nice service in light of a snorkeling adventure end time and the time appropriate for check out for our late flight - this was arranged by Devan. We didn't have any dinner choices as the restaurant requires reservations and none were available - we declined room service. Sunday breakfast was phenomenal with all the added touches due to it being Halloween - the various baked goods were decorated for the holiday.
Cons: It would have been nice to have been made aware that we needed to make dinner reservations / or for the resort to have food service available. Same for our afternoon after snorkeling and before departure - drinks but no snacks after 3.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: New bungalow, good service, good pastry chef.
Cons: Food prices were way too expensive. The French restaurant is meh.

Excellent 10.0
We came here on our honeymoon and had an absolute blast at the Four Seasons resort in Bora Bora. The service and resort quality were impeccable and everything exceeded our expectations. If you come to Bora Bora you must stay at the Four Seasons, I'm sold on the hotel/resort chain and can't wait to stay at the Four Seasons again in the future! We will definitely return :)
Excellent 10.0
We had a remarkable 4 night stay at this luxury hotel! We loved our over water bungalow so much ! The room is really spacious with beautiful decor and details, the bed is really comfortable, from the bedding, slippers, robes to balcony, patio, bathtub, we really enjoyed every bit of it. One tip to mention is to do try the canoe breakfast, it was so beautifully presented. Everyday we had an activity which was booked through our agency Pacific For Less. The Snorkeling tour and Sunset photo shoot tour were great choices. I would say that Pacific For Less they are really pro in this field, and they helped us to put together this fabulous worry-free itinerary in the beautiful islands of Tahiti, and together with our wonderful stay at Four Seasons made our trip a remarkable experience.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property was very well maintained.
Cons: There were a few minor issues with the room which were resolved.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was amazing! The setting, the food, the staff, the spa, all fantastic. The best vacation of my life! We can’t wait to come back!
Cons: My only complaint is that the cocktails were very expensive and very watered down, so you kind of wind up paying $25 for a glass of crushed ice. But that is literally the only negative thing I can think of and I would recommend this resort to everyone!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved our stay at the St Regis BB. The resort is beautiful and very large - it doesn’t feel crowded or like there are a lot of people around. They provide bikes which are so fun to take around! The overwater bungalows, beach, and pool are all beautiful and well designed. The bungalows are huge and very clean- feels like an extremely nice hotel room that happens to be over the water. The staff are incredible esp at the beach/pool and the butler service which helped us with everything we needed! Food was excellent. We generally don’t like a very “resort-y” feel and SRBB had a very nice balance of being a luxe resort but without being cheesy.
Cons: Concierges could have been more a bit more helpful! They seemed to just stick to activity booking and were rather transactional but I guess it’s because the butler handles everything else.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The water bungalow is spacious and view amazingly beautiful. The service staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is HEAVEN! It was the most incredible experience ever. When we reached Bora Bora, we heard so many nice stories about this place, that’s why we decided to book and enjoyed our honeymoon. It’s stunning, this place is magic! Everything is perfect! Staff so so friendly, especially Ida ! The water, lagoon, views..you just need to enjoy every minute of it. I wish, I can come back soon because this was the TOP!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is the best service we have ever had. Best food. Best kept resort!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Went there for my 50th birthday celebration and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we landed at the airport till we left we had nothing to worry about. Beyond our expectations. JUST GO. Just... wow.
Cons: There’s really nothing I can say negatively about the propriety. So much fun.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff on the ground. NOT the managerial team
Cons: Loud music during night. Limited supply of room fresh water. Poor breakfast. Not family friendly: no changing table. My daughter got bitten by insect in bed. Most Staff are very friendly and helpful though. Overall not a bad resort but definitely not luxury as it claims to be.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed for about a week and never left the hotel. They had everything we wanted to do and all the facilities and staff were amazing!! I would go again literally just for the breakfast buffet.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Incredible overwater bungalow. Beautiful view. Great comfort. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Improve choice and quality of Italian restaurant.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Location, large rooms, good food, great staff, floor viewing panels, bicycles, lovely grounds, first rate room service and housekeepers. If we hadn't been spoiled by Six Senses this would be 5 stars!
Cons: Concierges and butlers need better coordination. Beverage prices need to come down a notch, overwater bungalows need a mild refresh in their finishes.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everyone is lovely, the beaches are really well taken care of, the coral garden is well done. Decor is warm and inviting and the perfect blend of modern and local. Loved the little pool in our backyard (it heated up wonderfully after a hot day), the gazebo, and the fragrance of the flowers on the walk to the villa. Staff is really on the ball - they noticed a pool of water underneath our (malfunctioning) iron while cleaning and brought a replacement iron without us having mentioned anything!
Cons: Food was a bit mediocre - some of the items were a bit tasteless, and although they were clearly trying hard, it was not on par with the prices. Also, please consider refrigerating some of the fresh coconuts!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property was beautiful, spotless, new, and romantic. they have free transfers to the main island during the day and if you ever want to do activities off the resort, can set these up for you seamlessly so it’s stress free for you. we also enjoyed kayaking around, snorkeling at their private coral garden, and the relaxing spa. the staff were super friendly and accommodating. we also had our last dinner at the gourmet restaurant, Poerava, and it was superb.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Overwater bungalow with view of coral fish through the floor. Staff were exceptional. Snorkeling, swim up bar.
Cons: Food was generally very good, but we would have liked to had the option to try the food in town a little easier.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an excellent stay at Le Bora Bora. This hotel is in paradise, it has the best location on the island with direct views to Mt Otemanu, the best beach and amazing food. We were lucky to see all of the other 5* hotels on the island, and this remains our favourite. The staff was very friendly and particular kudos to Louise, who made our stay much better. The food is a perfect mix between French and local and it was exceptionally good. The overwater bungalows, recently renovated as well as the beach villas were ... WOW. Le Bora Bora is a really special place. Thank you Louise and the entire team.
Cons: There is nothing to not like about this place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
We arrived early in the morning and we were greeted with cold drinks. We were informed that my husband and I had been upgraded from a premium water bungalow to a mountain view bungalow for no extra charge. We had a great breakfast and then we were told that one of our rooms was available. This was great because we were all tired from the three flights we had to take to get there. The room had an amazing view. We didn't spend time on the beach because we had everything we needed on our balcony and our room. On our first day a bottle of white wine was delivered to our bungalow. There was a stocked mini bar in the room but the prices for the items were quite expensive. We went in to town to Chin Lees and stocked up on things that we would need. When you arrive you are given a schedule for the boat transfer to the main island. When you get to the main island there is a bus there that will take you into town. The staff were amazing. Our room was always cleaned fairly early every day.and two bottles of water were left in our room every night. If you ran out of water you could fill up your bottles at the spa, where you picked up towels and at the concierge area. There was a happy hour between 5:30 to 7:00 every evening. You could get two drinks for the price of one drink. We had great service at the bar and the restaurant near the bar. The food at both restaurants was good but expensive. We stayed for eight evenings so by the end of our trip we were starting to get tired of the food selection. One evening we went to Bloody Mary's for a nice dinner. The concierge will make the reservations for you and let you know when to meet the boat. We went on an excursion where we swam with sharks and mana rays. This was an excellent trip. You can arrange trips at the concierge desk. Overall this was a great vacation.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: the view
Cons: service, late dinner, tried to double charge me for my room, key to the room that I had didn't work, was left unlocked while I was out doing activities, was not at airport when I arrived, just all around POOR property.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The over water bungalows are very relaxing and calm. The service is excellent as well as people working at the resort.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: More activities provided at the resort would be nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were great, obviously the location is amazing. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had some variation day to day, and the General Manager Laurence was an absolute pleasure. Wonderful stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were great, were clean, there was no badly positioned bungalow.
Cons: Everything was expensive, but I read about that prior to the trip and so was prepared for it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the over-the-water bungalow. Private dock to go down into the ocean, little window inside to feed the fish from. We stayed in several hotels during our stay and this was my favorite. Naturally, it's a little expensive, but an overall awesome experience!
Cons: Shading on the pier walk might have been nice, it's a little bit of a walk to the end of the pier.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful property. Clean and quite. Friendly and helpful staff. The resort is on the main island that makes it easy to walk and shop, eat at other locations. Water is simply out of the world. Ask for horizon view.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff very attentive and ready to help at any time. Free activities are organised during the day and equipments for water sports are available for free. The over-water bungalows are amazing and the lagoon is wonderful. The best intercontinental breakfast we had in FP!
Cons: It is a shape that the neighborhood is not super clean and can feel unsafe at times.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the resort was amazing. We stayed in a Horizon OWB # 31, it was 3 from the end of the pontoon, facing the break. The water was crystal clear and not too deep, so swimming off our deck was perfect, while still seeing the waves and surf in the distance. The staff were attentive to our every need. The resort was across the street from Matira Beach where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and we were in walking distance to 2 markets and a few restaurants.
Cons: It was perfect!!!
Excellent 10.0
You just can't miss, with this InterContinental Bora Bora, as the bungalows over water are just as advertised, perfect.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This resort has one of the best location possible in Bora Bora and the over-water villas are a treat! Service is exemplary and restaurants are great! Special shout out to the Spa facilities and breakfast - these were really a highlight. Highly recommend staying at this property.
Cons: NA
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent. Everything but the coffee.
Cons: Too watery.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms, lagoon & views are great.
Good 7.0
Pros: Had a nice view of the mountain and that they have kayaks and paddle boards to use.
Cons: There was no continental breakfast and you had to pay for it each day. The ac unit doesn’t run properly and it is hot to try to sleep. The only time it stayed cool in the room was when we were in there and moving around otherwise it shuts off and doesn’t run. Not a big deal but for the price of the room it should of had slippers & a beach bag . I also didn’t like that each time you took the boat to the main island you had to pay for it when we stayed at Four Seasons the breakfast, boat trip to main island was included with the room price and they gave you a robe, slippers & beach bag to use. Other then that the room was nice and so was the resort.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were remarkably friendly and welcoming from the beginning of my stay to the end. They made an effort to learn my name and I got to know some of theirs. I was there for a birthday and many wished me a Happy Birthday. They even left a birthday cake in my room. The setting is incredibly beautiful with great views of the lagoon and Mt. Otemanu. The Thalasso Spa is world-class with its relaxing atmosphere and treatments tailored to individual needs. Many water activities are available for those who want to be active. The restaurants serve delicious food with local accents and the drinks at the bar are unique and memorable. I highly recommend the InterContinental Bora Bora and hope I can visit again.
Cons: The resort is pricey, but less so than some of the other options on Bora Bora. It has a bit of a "corporate" feel to it.
Excellent 10.0
I decided to travel to French Polynesia. Great reviews are well deserved. I spent months researching properties in Bora Bora as I wanted our stay to be terrific. I almost booked the Le Meridien, the Pearl Resort, and the Intercontinental LaMoana based on the price, but so glad I decided to spend a little extra. The rooms were fantastic, clean, modern, and very large. The cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning them every day, so my thanks to that team! I booked an Emerald room and was automatically upgraded to the Sapphire due to being a member of the Ambassador club. When you book directly at the Intercontinental website, this upgrade occurred automatically. Within a day or two, my reservation reflected the sapphire upgrade, so there was never a question if that was what I was going to get or not. My sapphire room really had a beautiful view of the mountain from the deck - I was very surprised as I didn't really expect that at all. We were in room 225. The food was also very good, so not sure why it seems the reviews are so mixed on food in Bora Bora. We stayed at Vahine Island and at the Intercontinental and the food was superb at both. The facilities and excursions that I booked through the hotel were also fantastic. Another thing that really surprised me is the lack of people around - it never felt crowded and I know that the first few days we were there the hotel was fairly full. I love that, as I don't like to wait in lines to have dinner, to get a drink, to get towels, to get help from the concierge. Their staff to guest ratio had to be very high, as I felt their service was top notch. Overall 5 stars and a place you will truly not want to leave! Thanks for making our stay so special.

Good 7.5
Pros: This property was closed when we visited, we were moved to the Sofitel private island resort. I think we would have preferred this option over private island
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent staff - very friendly, willing to share information even related to other hotels. First free mini-bar experience in my life...lovely treats from time to time and transit fee is 1/3 of intercontinental's but even better service and small gifts. Definitely a top pick after staying at different resorts in bora bora. We also got free upgrade to Sofitel private island due to renovation at Marara.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Buffet Breakfast
Cons: small swimming pool
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: We did not stay at the Sofitel. It was under renovation and we were rebooked at the Le Meridian. That is why I gave a fair rating. We did stay at the Sofitel in Papeete prior to Bora Bora and were thrilled with the hotel. We would definitely book there again.
Cons: It was a bit pricey for the food and drinks.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are exceptionally hospitable, very accomodating and easy to talk to if you have any request.
Good 7.5
Pros: Thanks to the Maitai team who were nice and helpful, we rested well.
Cons: We would have liked to have stayed at this resort where we had booked. When we arrived, we found out, that Sofitel had been repaired and we were redirected to the other resort, which was not worthy of Sofitel and was not our choice. We got an upgrade room (in the local gategorie), thank you for that, but unfortunately we missed what we wanted and had booked.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Fantastic views and swimming
Cons: Problem with the bill but turned out it was a mistake by booking.com. Restaurant is ok but not great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely complex, very friendly staff, deluxe houses, cleanliness, tranquility, very good breakfast, delicious food, funny Polynesian dinner! Thank you in particular Benji ! Dream Hotel

Good 7.0
Pros: walking distance to many restaurants, overwater bungalow
Cons: no pool, lack of amenities (no bathrobes, iron in room)
Good 6.0
Pros: Great transfer service
Cons: Beach small and didn't seem to live up to advertisements. Meals and breakfasts only so so and overpriced for what you get. Excursions super expensive. Minimal activities unless you're there on weekend.
Good 7.0
Pros: Service
Cons: Price little high

Cons: All is amazing, I have no complaints
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We upgraded at the property to overwater bungalows and didn’t regret it. They also had free kayaks we used.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The garden room we checked into was disappointing… But they generously upgraded us to an overwater bungalow at a discounted price that was reasonable and a difference maker in our stay…
Excellent 9.0

9stars for Hotel Mai Tai. The staff was wonderful most especially to the Tahitian front desk. We enjoyed our stay on the bungalow and ocean view room and had a wonderful time.
Excellent 9.6
Although most of the high end resorts in Bora Bora are located off-island, we wanted the ability to eat and shop among the locals instead of being tied to a remote resort which would require a boat shuttle to do so. The Maitai filled the bill beautifully. There were no fewer than 4 restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as a grocery store. The OWB was beautiful and well situated. The snorkeling from the bungalow was not as "good" as in Moorea, but that's just a function of the reef. The one single negative comment is that the internet at this resort is NOT sufficient in any way, shape or form. There are two access points (lobby and beach bar). The service in any of the rooms was abysmal. If you need connectivity, you have to go elsewhere. Other than that, we heartily recommend the Maitai BB
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything! Lovely staff, beach, view from room, comfort
Good 6.2
Pros: Staff was helpful
Cons: Wifi did not work Was on a hill side Bugs in room
Good 7.0
Pros: The location, the hours of the restaurant, the welcome juice and complimentary cocktail, the views, the coral right in the lagoon, the ease of renting a bicycle or moped, the friendliness of staff. the beach, the quietness of the hotel
Cons: The slowness of staff to respond to requests, the minimum amount of options for eating/transportation on Bora Bora, the process to just get internet access, the lack of a separate concierge from the front desk staff, the roosters that roamed the property, the appearance of the main dining area, the late shuttle to pick us up from the airport, the hidden fee for the airport shuttle

Had an unbelievable stay in a over water bungalow. Still dreaming about clear blue water and fish. Hotel beautiful and staff amazing. Everyone did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Beach, beach toys and lounge chairs plentiful. Just a tip, buy alcohol in the duty free store at airport to save your money for pearls. Local excursions a must. There are transit showers available to clean up after checking out so you can spend your last day on the beach. We were picked up at the bungalow in a canoe and paddled to private beach. Rained a little most days but storm clouds came and went. In fact clouds were a relief from sun and added to scenery. Forecast online was much gloomier than our experience. Will definitely go back.
