Art Hotel Kalelarga - Zadar - Building
1
9.3 Excellent (422 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Art Hotel Kalelarga, you'll be centrally located in Zadar, steps from Port Gate and 3 minutes by foot from Archeological Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location in the heart of the old city; tasteful, modern décor; good size rooms (particularly given the location); excellent (and quiet) air conditioning; lots of power sockets, usefully positioned; good bathroom and shower, with lovely soft towels (so rare in hotels); great breakfast, served at the table rather than from a buffet (which wouldn't have worked well in such a small hotel); excellent restaurant that is very good value for cooking of this quality, with a delightful terrace; charming and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing of any consequence - not much of a view, but that is only to be expected in the narrow streets of the old city; the digital display on the aircon control panel is a bit bright at night; the shaving/make-up mirror is set too far back - it would have been better on a side wall
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sweet little hotel in the heart of the old city. Great room. Wonderful and friendly service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In an excellent location with a friendly and helpful staff. My room was the junior suite and I really loved the space. Parking was an easy walk to the hotel and a very reasonable rate for city parking.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The best was the staff: Marina, Ivan and Tonka!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service with enthusiasm and a smile.
Cons: Nothingr
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room fit and finish were a perfect fusion of ancient and modern, including a very spacious bath with towel warmers. Breakfast was excellent with everything brought to your table. The Staff put our experience over the top. Ivan at the front desk was fantastic and helped be secure a rental car on short notice by calling around to several companies. He did so like a real customer would, balancing reputation and price.
Cons: Price was (for that night) 35% higher than other properties, but our experience was so good it overcame any buyers remorse.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful. Pictures on website do not do it justice.
Cons: Parking situation is complicated given that the hotel is in the old town but that is not their fault. Maybe more concrete situations about where to park and what to do to get permit would help. IOtherwise it becomes the primary issue at check in.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom.
Cons: Noisy during the summer - inside the city wall very hot and noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel and its staff was incredible. We are from the U.S., and am used to staying at Hilton, JW Marriott and Kimpton hotels, and of all the places we stayed in Croatia, this was my favorite. You are right in the heart of it all, and no other hotel can offer this. If you open your windows at night, you'll hear the live music that plays most nights. There are only maybe 12 rooms, so book out far in advance. They also had the best breakfast...we always buy the breakfast option in our rates for all the hotels on our trip. Staff was exuberant and helpful, and made us feel welcome every time we left and came into the lobby.
Cons: It's in the center of the city, so you have to park a few blocks away, then drag your luggage through the streets to the hotel. No cars allowed on the city streets.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, great breakfast, friendly and helpful personnel
Cons: Alot of noice from the main street
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room on top floor, was the only room on the floor, so very private and quiet. Staff made many great recommendations and were all so helpful and friendly!
Cons: More hot breakfast options.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Good food, great service, nice bed and great bathroom.
Cons: Challenging parking situation, but not unusual for an old town hotel.

Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera - Zadar - Building
3
9.2 Excellent (2,143 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Largest wellness & SPA center in Zadar spanning over 6000 sqm/ 64500 sqft. Exceptional location, on the tip of the Punta Skala peninsula, offering fantastic panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea and local islands.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really liked the location of the hotel.Beach was really calm and the sea was really clean and beautiful. The staff of the hotel were really helpful and attentive. One of the cleanest hotel i saw.Had a really relaxing vacation.
7.1 Good
Pros: - location - hotel facilities - pools - spa - restaurants (seafood and planika) - good food - staff in restaurants
Cons: Simply - just 3 stars sevices in 5 stars hotel Details: - cleaning (dust in room after room service, not changed towels, sometimes missing towels) - re-filling of toilet papers, shower gel - SPA - great black spa but rules were not followed - a lot of people in swinming suits and also childern below 16, nobody controlled - we were just 2 and when we tried book a table in the restaurant at the the reception. We received info that tables for 2 were booked (in all restaurant they had only 4 tabels for 2) and declined book bigger table for us - which is sad - there was a grilling party and mess was cleaned up after 2 days - limited capacity of sunbeds - noise from the corridor was loud in the room - there was not proper isolation of room doors
7.3 Good
Pros: The grounds
Cons: The room The hotel No air conditioning The shower in the bedroom The toilet in the closet The hotel corridors The restaurant Hotel impersonal feels like aquatic city for adults
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Iva at reception is very helpful and professional. Filip from Ugljen is a great young man who helped us with the luggage and other things. The operations manager, Marko (I think), is very present throughout both hotels. Our family preferred spending the day at Diadora Hotel because of the slide and Falky. Falky is really the only reason we booked this hotel and location. Working in hospitality tourism in Dubrovnik, we must say that we were also impressed by Sara at the breakfast restaurant. The staff makes the difference at this hotel.
Cons: The room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner than it was upon arrival. The lighting was a tad difficult to manage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect: location, services, personnel,food...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything...the staff were phenomenal, the food was beyond expectations and place was just perfect. I must admit, when I first got there I was very unsure about it being a 5 star location, but it is for sure.
Cons: I had to leave.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern decor Lovely balcony Great spa
Cons: Little loud in the evening as room overlooked the main bar/restaurant area Few loose things in the room (taps, hand rail by bath) Children often playing in main spa area pools etc (no adults only pool) so not always relaxing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous place. I am in love. We’ve been there with kids (3,5,7). Everybody can find there something to enjoy. The hotel is placed a bit out of the way, in calm place. It gives a feeling of rest, however it is close enough to Zadar. Huge beach, to walk from one side to the other it takes a while. There are 2nice restaurants with sea view, regional couisine-seafood and a steak house. Everywhere you could take food for room number, do not need to carry cash. There is one beach with little stones for children. There was 3 pools - a plenty of space in full season. One of them with sea water! <3 Magnificent SPA, it is like a temple. Free Yoga & Aqua Areobic. Breakfasts <3, you can make fresh juice of whatever you want. Live cooking excelent. Beach bar with very nice food. In the same price there were bungalows on Istria. You cannot compare it anyhow!! Two times there was outside barbecue for supper <3 you could have some grilled lobsters there <3 At 4-5pm there was comming a lady to the room to give children Rafaello, it was so cute <3 Live music in the evenings, very profesional. Parking places organized under a huge sport stadion, for football, voleyball, tennis- your car doesn’t stay in full sun <3 and is calm when you want to drive somewhere. There was done EVERYTHING to please our stay. 10/10. I am coming back again for sure!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and couldn't do enjoying to help wherever we had queries. The Maître D remembered our names after the first night, the lady and gentleman serving us at breakfast and dinner remembered our orders every day, as did the bar men. When we needed some help with the housekeeping staff, they were incredibly good to us. There was a guy doing an aqua fitness class that we did twice and he was brilliant. Really friendly and it was an enjoyable workout. There were also lots of other classes available that we didn't get to. The nudist spa area is lovely, lots of sauna/steam room spaces and a small pool too. The heated water beds are amazing and we both ended up falling fast asleep in them one afternoon. We went half board and the food was delicious, the BBQ night in particular was great, an amazing selection of food to choose from. The breakfast selection was delicious also. We were flying home late on our last day so the staff invited us to stay around the hotel for the day, using the facilities. The showers and changing rooms in the white spa area were lovely and spacious allowing us to get ready before leaving for the airport.
Cons: That it is not an adults only hotel, despite being advertised as such. We spent extra money to stay in an adults only resort, only to arrive with lots of children there. One child was allowed to use his scooter inside the restaurant and was at risk of tripping staff carrying food plates at breakfast and dinner. We were very disappointed in this as they were in and out of the pool and around the pool area screaming during the day and evening when they should have been in the family hotel next door. From speaking with staff they are very unhappy with it also, however it seems that they cannot prevent it from happening due to someone saying it's ok. At least be honest for Pele when searching telling them this is NOT an adults only resort.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Overpriced, bad location, broken air conditioning, rocky beaches (impossible to swim), spa was overcapacity, staff was not accommodating. I’d never stay here again.

Pros: Very kind and carrefoul staff, excelent breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly, most of them multi lingual. Probably best set of staff I have experienced in a hotel.
Cons: The toilets were an issue! Needed to be flushed multiple times which is a waste of water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A smaller very nice hotel a short distance from the old city. Very friendly personnel, good English speaking. A good and rich breakfast. A very nice pool site behind the hotel. I can strongly recommend the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were helpful and interested. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to catch a bus into town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 3 nights in one of the newly renovated rooms on the second floor and it was lovely. The pool area is nice as well, plenty of sun with a nice garden area nearby. But the best part of our stay was the staff, they were truly exceptional in every interaction we had with them. They were friendly, attentive and discreet at the same time. Everyone from the cleaning lady who gave our daughter a balloon she found, to the receptionist who stood up from his chair every time a guest entered the lobby. Little things that you usually only see in 5-star hotels. All part of a wonderful experience and we would love to visit again.
Cons: The road next to the hotel gets pretty busy during the day

Cons: Entrance is confusing. Didn’t know where to go or where to park.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming. Location. Kastel Restaurant very good.
Cons: Immediate area around Hotel a little grim. Dropping off luggage and parking not the easiest. View not great from first floor room - but cheapest offered so not surprised! Third floor view excellent across the water.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff of the hotel, Restaurant inside the hotel and the chef himself Located in the heart of old town of Zadar, but very quiet, relaxing place without tons of tourists. Special thanks to the manager on duty - Mr.Mario for his kind and professional assistance in accommodating us.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very modern and had a pleasant sitting area where we able to entertain friends. Bed exceedingly comfortable and staff very helpful. Really well positioned in old town. Parking on site was available too for a fee. Overall a delightful stay.
Cons: Only poor thing about room was lack of space on top vanity next to basin - insufficient room for toiletries. A bit of a juggle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel in a great position in the old part of Zadar Really nothing of any significance to fault Throughly recommended
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Central, clean and not too big a hotel. The young staff are all very smart and friendly and bright so they gave good trip advice and were confident with checking your requirements.
Cons: I didn’t use the spa which I usually would. I think it is in reality a separate business and charges for use which is not what I expected . Although our room was ok, it was small and dark and considering we stayed for 6 nights, I feel it was quite overpriced. We were charged for water from the mini bar which really should be complimentary. It is in most hotels. I would only stay again for a couple of nights in future.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room was very nice. Location of the hotel excellent. Reception staff very good and helpful and food and waiters @ dinner time excellent.
Cons: breakfast was OK but nothing spectacular. Staff at breakfast not very switched on.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Clean and comfortable with nice staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked, first and formost, the wonderful staff. Their friendliness, and desire to make our stay as great as it was made this experience. The room is bigger than most European rooms, in great condition, comfortable and the houskeeping staff made our return ..special in a kind way. Very good breakfast. Old Zadar just a few minutes away by car, but this place has a beach and the Adriatic just across. I think it's a best bet in Zadar. In a culture that doesn't leave many tips, I felt compelled to leave some for room and restaurant staff. Thanks.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, and in a great location close to sea organ and sites. The breakfast was lovely in their very nice garden. We did not realize that they were also a wine bar in the evening, we were sorry we missed it. The shower was not as clean as I would have liked but was nice. All in all a nice stay in Zadar.
Cons: A bit of mold in shower corners.
7.1 Good
Pros: the location is good.
Cons: We were in the annexe over the road and there is no lift. The room was okay but the bathroom is tiny. No other facilities really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is excellently located at the top of the peninsula of Zadar. The room where we stayed was large, two-storey loft with excellent comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent and was served in the restaurant which has an outside courtyard. The hotel has a some private parking places on the street. From the hotel it is only a few minutes walk to the center of the town.
Cons: It is a rather expensive hotel, however it offers a good value for the money. It should also be considered that we stayed there in july, when the prices are much higher than in the low season.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Inside of the room makes him a 4 star hotel
Cons: Old building, does not look like a hotel
4.2 Okay
Pros: Room was nice, but not the building "Annex Building" was terrible.
Cons: We have booked Standard Double Room - Annex Building for a special occasions, but is not mention in description that is a separate building cross the road, approximately 2mins walk from the main building. It's a separate building where they do a reconstruction work. When you open main entrance of Annex Building it's smell of reconstruction. They do a selection of breakfast, but, could be a very small portion as you can see on picture. Not reply to my request.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic!
Cons: We were in a room where the bedroom was upstairs on the mezzanine floor, in August - it was very hot outside and unfortunately the AC did not cool the bedroom area enough for us to be comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and atmosphere. Very gracious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and staff were magnificent. The greeting upon arrival was friendly and courteous and we already knew it was going to be a pleasant stay.

Pros: Staff are excellent and friendly. They are only there to ensure that you get whatever you need.

Pros: The bed was quite big which was great. Great having the air conditioning too, we really needed it. It has a really nice shower too.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and new. Appliances&facilities in great condition. Balcony was lovely and air conditioning was a must
Cons: I agree with previous comments saying that the owner didn't provide enough towels (2 for 2 people,4 nights). No hand towel or sponge to wash dishes was also a minus. I was aware of the stairs but if you don't like daily climbing then you should definitely reconsider your choice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Balcony

Pros: Fantastic room and location. Was a pleasure to stay.
Cons: Stiff lock on the inner door was difficult to open till I got the knack of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is beautiful, clean, has air con, a lot of space, all like in the pictures. It is very well located, right in the middle of the old town. The bed is comfortable. Very nice host, who managed to be flexible for our arrival.
Cons: A bit noisy in the night, but it is ok. The room would be even better with a larger mirror in the main room :) Don't go to Panda Sushi nearby...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loris was friendly, amazing and helpful - absolutely loved it. The rooms were recently renovated and the design and accessories were pretty cool.
Cons: The window goes into a very dusty inner courtyard (opening a window might not bring the expected refreshing relief) and there isn't really a view to speak of... One does need to bear in mind that to get to the apartment one needs to go a couple of flights of stairs- nothing noteworthy for a young person, but if you have elderly people or people with mobility problems - it's something to consider.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a very comfortable room, but only for sleep. Clean and modern bathroom. In the city center near the main street and 5 minutes on foot to the sea.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location outside busy Zedar and on the water edge was great!
Cons: Up until now everyone we have encountered has been very friendly. In general the staff were unhappy and general atmosphere was unwelcoming. Save for Maria who let us leave our car in the carpark after checkout while we lounged on the beach.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. Food is amazing!! Sunset view from the sundeck is a must see!
7.1 Good
Pros: Jacuzzi on the sun terrace. Good breakfast.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great little Hotel - some of the best food I have ever had
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is very nicely decorated.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breaksfast was really good, one of the best in my stay in Croatia. The view, the internet is good, the location in front of the beach, te spa time, the sunset view.
Cons: They didn't had anyone in the reception at 23pm and at 6am, and we had to go out at 6 am. Since they had problems with paying directly from booking, it was a bit difficult the payment. We had to send a virtual card, but it was the only problem. Oh! They have stairs, so it's hard with luggage but staff was helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff in restaurant and reception. Breakfast was excellent with every kind of food on offer. The view from our balcony was superb, to watch the sunsets from our balcony was a real treat. Frequent bus service to centre of Zadar which stopped outside hotel.
Cons: Nothing, loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. A perfect location for a private beach vacation only 10mins from the centre by bus, very easy and convenient transport. Rooms were very clean with amazing views. Thank you Delfin, we hope to come back to zadar and stay with you again.
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Fitness centre was basic, could do with a spot clean, but did the job overall.

Pros: Very nice villa with nice apartments, our had a great terrace.:) Very good breakfast! Great staff/owner with friendly attitude. Good location and nice restaurant (sime) close to the Villa
Cons: Parking could be a challange if fully booked.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing?
Cons: The place needs urgent refurbishment! Furniture is old fashioned and uncomfortable. Better not to say anything about the bathroom: broken shower, uncleaned and lacking all kind of toiletries. Due to the ferry delay, we got to the premises quite late in the evening, previously calling them to tell them though, which according to the owner’s words, was not a problem. However, when we arrived, he barely told us anything but urged us to go to sleep, not to make any noise I guess. We asked him if we could eat something (we hadn’t had a bite in 8 hours), he just kept saying “closed, closed”, when there was a service station just five minutes away from the hotel where you could buy sandwiches, drinks.... Breakfast? If a lot of hard eggs, some plastic jam, tasteless fruit and undrinkable coffee can be called good breakfast.... All in all, We hadn’t been in such an awful place in years...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, definitely happy that the meal was included in our price. The staff was extremely helpful in providing tips on local restaurants, pubs and excursions. On our last full day in Zadar, the hotel helped us book an all day cruise, complete with lunch, a bar, music and taxi service (roundtrip) for a very good price. Highly recommend the cruise!!
Cons: Check out time was 10am - which seemed a bit early. After check out, the taxi drove us to the airport and we had to wait 8 hrs in the Zadar airport because we had our luggage and no where else to go, which was exhausting. There was also only 1 small A/C unit in the entire unit, even though we had 2 beds (1 bedroom and 1 bed in common area). The bedroom in the common area received all the a/c, none in the bedroom itself. Traveling during the summer months and having to stay in the bedroom is not recommended. If you can sleep with the a/c in the room, you're good to go. I'm sure its more comfortable during other seasons.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Courtesy, and very clean rooms, silence at night
Cons: Some rooms are a little old
7.1 Good
Pros: Air conditioning in the room, a balcony
Cons: Late breakfast and checkout, only 1 pillow each No evening meals available in the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. The breakfast had lots of choice every morning. The room was really clean and had good facilities like a fridge and we had access to a terrace overlooking the town and the ocean. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Everything was good no complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place, excellent staff they provide me everything I want. Definetly it was a pleasure t9 stay there. Thank you for all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitable staff, amazing view from the balcony, clean and tidy room and a good selection of food for breakfast.
Cons: It's a bit hard to find it the first time because street numbers are a bit weird.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good accommodation. Owners very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was ok but it could be a little bit better and broad variety.

Pros: Nice location with nice facilities. The two ladies are very helpful to give advise about Zadar. It’s a lovely place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy room in the heart of Zadar. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. Great bathroom and very comfy bed. Room is also equipped with the useful conveniences: water and wine glasses, fridge, etc.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was great
Cons: Problem with being charged twice and when they did refund it was £50 short, reminded them three times which they ignored, we eventually resolved things on arrival in Zadar. Luxury is misleading it’s not luxury. Hard uncomfortable bed. No chair in the room. No tea/coffee in room. No room service, bins left full for over a week. Had to end WhatsApp’s if you wanted anything took 2 days to get toilet paper. Had problems with the shower, after two days complained for a second time and then only 50% of the problems resolved.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a lovely room with a view on the main square. If you don’t mind constant noise of wandering tourists, street performers, bell tower, then you will enjoy your stay. When you keep windows open in the morning, it’s amazing seeing the main square waking up slowly.
Cons: As the room was on the 1st floor, a lot of times we had to keep blinds shut for privacy, so it got a bit dark inside even during the day. We stayed at this palace for around 3 nights. The room didn’t get cleaned during our stay at all which was a let down. Also the host promised to share some tips on the city, but never did. Nevertheless, these small things didn’t effect our stay in Zadar much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superfriendly staff, Martina gave us lots of tips to wonderful places and restaurants. The room was very clean and the location could not have been any better. 10/10, would come back :) Best regards, Simon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved staying here, the apartment was so spacious the bathroom and kitchen were modern and the shower was lovely and powerful yet with the decor you could tell you were in a Croatian home. The bed was large and comfortable and the aircon was perfect. Location was fantastic and we were given good hints and tips at check in, she was so friendly.

Pros: Everything
Cons: /
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Waterside was fun, pools are enjoyable. The coastline is very nice to walk
Cons: Cleaning the beach and shoreline of garbage
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, they made an extra effort to make us feel welcomed. The pool and the beach are very nice. The variety of food is impressive.
Cons: The logistics around parking could use improvement. You are required to park in a garage which is 100 meters away, but carrying language in hot burning sun with no trolleys is not easy. The prices are also quite high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very family friendly enviroment, nice and friendly staff. Special thanks to the reception manager Ana for being really heplful with our booking. We'll keep coming back for sure.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Kids areas and kids team are amazing, rooms with extra "room" within for the kids are great
Cons: The value for money is non existant. We paid 770 Euros for 2 nights and it is not worth it. Hotel needs refurbishing (public areas -rooms are great). Food just ok. Paying over 350 Eur per night and there is nobody to offer coffe or water at the table for breakfast? No towels around pool area. Ni drinks service around pool area. Outdoor seats (eating area and bar) are like they just came out of the 1990ties. No ice/ice machines, no extra glasses or bottle openers in the room. Beach not nice, so all the crowds at the pool. No doctor on site (30 min a day, with no supplies to work with at all). Location about 20/25 min driving to the city. All in all, its a good hotel but sooooo not worth the price.
6.7 Good
Pros: We liked that food was somewhat included. We loved the waterslide and pools. It was great for families with young kids. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived. The hotel was expensive, we would have liked parking to be included. They lost my son's birthday cake request although made up for it even though it was late. We would've liked the facilities all to be included but the bouncy houses were not and we were disappointed. The dinner hours were very limited for a large hotel so we missed a few of our included meals and didn't feel like that was worth the money without food included.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice design.
Cons: No elevator. 4 flights walk-up with big luggage was a bit troublesome.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: location was convenient for old town sightseeing and restaurants and bars etc.
Cons: parking extremely difficult and not enough information given in advance. difficult to find the unit location. unit was on the 4th floor with no lift thus very difficult to move suitcases. very noisy outside the room at night due to a band playing in nearby bar. Breakfast was served in a nearby restaurant which didn't open on time and had very limited menu. This apartment was Not good value for money.
7.5 Good
Cons: Third floor without elevator
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The old town location is fabulous! Restaurants and attractions are close by. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. We were using two of the three rooms and no one was in the third one so it felt like we had a private suite.
Cons: There are two potential challenges. The first challenge is finding parking during the busy season, and the second is that the mobility challenged must climb to the third floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect!
7.9 Good
Pros: the location of the unit was right in the middle and it was pretty quite
Cons: not much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect, located in the heart of the city. The room was functional, nice bed, great amenities, fully renovated. They came to clean it every day, leave you water and maps so you can move around easily. Ivan, the host was super helpful with everything we needed, including giving us terrific recommendations on where to go. Perfect spot for to get the best from a lovely town.
Cons: My only comment will be that the bathroom is missing a bit of privacy, but this didn’t ruined the great experience we had! But if you are no a couple, maybe could be uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly & personal reception by Ivan.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. Right in the heart of the old town
Cons: 1. There are no elevators and the apartment is on 3rd floor. 2. The breakfast coupons were redeemable at a cafe nearby but the portions served and choices available were not up to the mark
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bathroom. Comfortable bed. Central location. Good WiFi.
Cons: We had to carry our bags up to the 3rd floor. Noisy music from club below in the evening, but it stopped before midnight.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous facilities, from the pool area, to the outside dining area. Great breakfast and dinner. Easy access to the beach. Room was ample and clean. Very friendly staff. Free parking.
Cons: No lift to the higher floors, which can be a hassle if you have much luggage or are elderly.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Only the pool is good
Cons: The stench of moisture in the room is awful
7.9 Good
Pros: Garden and terace of the restaurant are wonderfull!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, friendly staff, clean room, nice SPA facilities (I had a super good massage)
Cons: Not the nicest beach nearby
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amenities and the friendly staff. Adults only was a first for us but now I would do it again.
Cons: Massage facilities were in adjoining property. Too much light in the massage rooms and children are allowed. Felt weird.
7.5 Good
Pros: The garden, pool, open sea access
Cons: I booked two superiors rooms. Both were above the restaurant - quite noisy from ~ 5am (sometime earlier), then till late in the evening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was 5* and the staff were brilliant.
Cons: Room was quite small for a suite.
7.9 Good
Pros: Proximity to beach and bus stop.
Cons: My original booking was for a double room for myself and my wife, however, on arrival we were told we would have to pay an extra €50 per night for double occupancy. I emailed you on 17/07 but I am still awaiting clarification from booking.com as this was not clear from your website.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very close to a sandy beach
5.4 Okay
Pros: The buffet was ok. The rooms are large. The staff is kind. The snacks are good, fresh, you can enjoy a variety of them and at any time during the day.
Cons: The air condition in the room was very old and it almost doesn't work. The quality of the beverages is very poor, includes the sodas. The cleaning up of the room was every day after 2:00 pm!!!. The mini club, the stuff is kind, but the show is always the same and too short, (Falky is just very few minutes, not enough even to taking a photo with each child that ask it for that). The beach near to the Hotel is awful.
7.1 Good
Pros: + the salad choice at the buffett was quite ok + the grilled meat was ok, even though quite repetitive + the staff was in 9/10 cases friendly and helpful
Cons: - it would be really good to change the meals for kids. having fries for lunch, snach and dinner is not a balanced diet. please prepare vegetables and fruits in a way that they are attractive for kids. - would be nice to have better drinks rather than cheap soft drinks. - the furniture in the room was really outdated. especially the couch was a disaster. - the music on some evening was much too loud and went on for way too late. this is not ideal for family with smaller kids. - the deserts tasted horrible. in the entire time I could not find 1 desert that I liked. all of them way too sweet, full of just sugar. - the coffee in the restaurant area tasted really bad. - the snack bar offered mainly burgers every day. would be nice to be more creative and come up with some different stuff. - the beach was not nice and in my opinion not suited for (younger) children
7.9 Good
Pros: Good hotel, good location, big family rooms, plenty of various food for all meals, staff was very nice
Cons: We did not like the sandy beach, but the pool was ok, I think they should do something for cleanliness in lobby at the beach bar, elevator and restaurant.
4.6 Okay
Pros: kids friendly environment
Cons: room were the level of a very poor 3 stars... so old with little comfort: no shampoo, not enough towels, room last renovation was probably from the 80's, TV was not even in the bedroom, Sofa was very old and some sofa protection were replaced with a white napkin
6.3 Good
Pros: Kids activities were ok
Cons: A few things as well as not accepting euros
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is very good, the facilities are many and nice.
Cons: The kids room in the family room was very small and like a closet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We spent a wonderful week at the hotel. the room was spacious (family maxy room) and cleaned every day. The staff is friendly and working hard, esp. those serving food. Hotel in front of sandy beach. Perfect for families with kids, sea not deep for a long distance.
Cons: Paradoxically, I found the animation quite poor, compared to my stay in other hotels in Croatia (for instance, Valamar resorts). the animation team by the pool not very enthusiastic, they looked quite bored or tired? the evening shows not impressive, done by the same team, although they tried their best I guess. I expected more from a hotel that boasts to be an animation hotel...but this did not affect our otherwise great holidays.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Very old hotel, very old rooms, very old bad furniture, very big and hard pillows. We have only one door of two between two rooms, curtains have many holes. It was the worst room, which we stay anytime

6.3 Good
Pros: Nice staff and good location
Cons: The toilets and showers are not clean at all and are very small and uncomfortable. I can't understand how this hostel has so good review score in booking as it is not good. An average of 6 or 7 is the reality.

Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location in the Old town, nice view and easy to remember.
Cons: We stay 3 days and it's same breakfast every day

Pros: Location is great and the room is modern and original, the hostel is well organised

Pros: The staff are very friendly, exceptional localisation and cool space.
Cons: The toilet was a bit not clean and smelly too.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice staff, the liitle breakfast they put on your bed while you sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is such a modern and cool hostel with super friendly staff. Location is great and even though the rooms have huge windows to main street, privacy in bed is exceptional. You have your own "cabin" with lots of space, shelves, light and plugs. Finding a breakfast to go next to bed in the morning made me really happy! (Pie was great but I didn't have a knife to spread the butter and jam on the bun... Maybe some other kind of food would be better)
Cons: Great shower but very very small space. Had some difficulties to shower in there...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, clean, great value for money, friendly staff.
Cons: Room was on the third floor with no lift, bed was a bit too firm, had a shower curtain when I prefer a screen (more hygienic).
