Pros: good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, close to a Metro station for airport and city centre access

Cons: the room was too hot (in November), not possible to turn off the heating. Pillows were too hard, duvet too heavy

From the Front Receptionists to the staffs at the restaurant including the Bellman, everything was harmoniously tuned to the creature comforts and spoils of their Guests! This Hotel certainly takes the 5 Stars Services from the Heart to a whole new different level. Now if only every hotels can be just like them. Unfortunately not. They are unique!

Best hospitality in town. Small and friendly. I can not fault anything or anyone. Absolutely amazing. From receptionist Stella, Piros and Andy to room service called Miltos and the housekeeper of room 508. I am thankful. I do appreciate whatever you did for me. Thank you once again.

I have stayed here for a few times so far, either for business or leisure. Always satisfied with my choice: convenient location, nice and descent room facilities, very friendly staff esp. at the reception desk.

basic room, we requested non smoking but got a room with heavy smoking odor. warn carpets, no blankets at all just sheets. general appearance very basic. need 10 minutes walk to nearest metro station. and ride with transfer just to get to acropolis. nice breakfast, but in general poor value for money.

The hotel is beautiful, both inside and outside. Breakfast was one of the best, delicious food plus a chef who cooks great omelettes during the weekends only, I think. Bed so comfy, I miss it staff is helpful, respectful and nice. Great experience overall. Internet didn't work well in the room and we were kinda depending on it. It works good at the reception though.

Cons: Everything this time. The staff were rude, they just don't care if the customer is happy or not. They gave me a noisy room behind the elevator shaft and when I asked for another room they gave me the same room but one floor below with the same problem. When I complained and asked for a better room they just refused and did not care. I also asked for a late checkout and the lady on the counter just refused without even checking on the system as if they don't want to help. Also they don't put soap, shampoo and towels in the room, I had to ask for soap and shampoo....etc. I used to like this hotel before because they were nice and the location is good but now they are not nice anymore and they don't care if the customer is satisfied or not. Finally, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel, there are much better choices in Athens for the same budget and with better service. I will not stay in this hotel anymore.

Thank you very much to the Delice Hotel’s staff. We got a wonderful time. Also the receptionists were very nice to help me printing my documents. The breakfast is good, the overall room and facilities are very nicely equipped and are cleaned in time. The hotel interior design is stylish and cosy as well. As a plus, great location with accessibility to the most major sightseeing attractions!

Pros: The room was large, clean, and it came with a kitchen! Breakfast was great, and the area was excellent and very close to the metro. Can't beat it for the price!

Cons: The wifi was a bit spotty at times, especially in the bedroom. But I was on the third floor, so maybe it's better on the lower floors!

Pros: The beds may not be the world’s most comfortable, for €10 a night and an amazing host willing to go out of his way to make people feel comfortable and create a social atmosphere, this place is worth its price and more. The whole place has a lovely charm and I can’t wait until the next time I can go!

Pros: The owner is a really nice guy. it’s a cozy old hostel with good vibes and a great atmosphere to hang out with other travelers.

Pros: Georges is one of the nicest english-german-french-spanish-italian-dutch-(chinese?) speaker i've ever meet. The pitas at 2,5 euros were so good and it's the perfect place for meet other solo travellers :)

Pros: Staff is nice, hostel is very old but cozy. Kitchen is great. Location is in a nice area about a 30 minute walk from the main attractions.

Cons: The big problem is the shower. Hot water is rare. Also no outlet plugs in the bed so bring extension cord.

Pros: The hostel and the staff is so nice and welcoming. Its the place to be especially, if you are traveling on your own and want company in the evening or even for road trips. I have never been as happy in any other hostel. George is also the best host ever.

Cons: The rooms didn’t match our expectations. The first room smelt like people had been smoking cigarettes in the room and we were kindly re-located to another room which also had a funny smell to it. Even though we were kindly moved, it felt like we were made to feel that being a non smoking room it shouldn’t smell so we felt like they didn’t believe us and we didn’t want to complain again regarding the second room so we put up with it. We didn’t feel it was value for money as the room was quite underwhelming and beds weren’t very comfortable.

I've tried two rooms there. Twin, the room was nice modern decor and, the other double with very old furniture!

Nice facilities. Spacious room and bathroom. Lovely views of the city on rooftop by the pool, good gym too. Had to asked for the room to be cleaned when needed due to COVID-19. 30-40 minutes walk away from the old city which we like to do every day.

Divani Caravel is located in downtown, a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station. If you travel from the Airport, you need to change train one time before reaching the nearest station. The room is good with expect 5 star amenities, WiFi works well. However, as the floor is carpet, it sometimes smells not very fresh. Breakfast served really good Europe and American breakfast buffet, many choices and delicious. However, there is no egg station where you can freshly cook egg. The rooftop swimming pool is good, you can see the acropolis, the rooftop bar is also good to check it out.

The pool and pool bar on the roof with an excellent view over the city and with Acropolis in the background! Big breakfast with everything and a very cool refrigerator for the fresh food. Liked the salmon with a lemon slice and homemade dressing very much. I proposed to the chef to have croissant French style instead of buttered croissant, which tastes more like a Danish pastry.

The hotel was lovely, very clean, well presented, the views were incredible and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: I was on a tour. The first night was on me. very good room and this extended to second night. Off i went on the tour and returned for last night. This room was very small and nothing like the first night. There was painting and construction on floor and we had to pass through this to get to the room. The hotel did call to let me know about the length of work and offered a new room. I was too tired to move. They did send up a lovely tray of fruit and bottle water. I think the size of the room was picked by the tour not the hotel. The staff was great.

Cons: The business center. Not personal at all. I walked in asking about the getting a boarding pass. The lady pointed to the computer. I explained that I was not knowledgeable about computers. I was told to key in my airline and follow instructions. No help. She was not busy. I guest I look like a tourist and not a business person.

Pros: Our family enjoyed the rooftop pool as a wonderful break from sightseeing, and the included breakfast far exceeded expectations !!

Cons: Pool on hotel roof was 'broken' ie; empty whole time we were there - v. disappointing for the kids. Bar on roof was also closed most days and always in the evening. A/C in the room was broken, pumping out hot air, making the room very stuffy; opening the window let in traffic noise. We had a family room, and in messages prior to arrival we were promised a double bed and two singles. Adults got two single beds pushed together, when we asked we were told they didn't actually have double beds in the family rooms; so messages prior to arrival were false promises ? My wife and I can't stand twin beds. Other two beds for kids were temporary sofa beds. Sons fold-up bed was Ok, but Daughters bed was the top sofa part -literally she was sleeping on a sofa ! It was positioned under the window. Her bed was not even made up properly on arrival, she described it as 'really, really, uncomfortable'. We requested proper bedding, quilt for my daughter, we were given blanket, as 'no quilts available'. Unsurprisingly we all slept badly - by the third night I had the worst sleep I have ever had in a hotel (got about 2 hours shut-eye). Very much regret staying here, so exhausted throughout my time in Athens. This is a hotel that has seen better days - the rooms look like they have not been decorated or improved since the early 90's; other than a new TV. Common areas have been modernised, but not the rooms. Bathroom fittings wearing out, shower was lacklustre. Hilariously, the executive mod-cons include a landline next to the toilet ! Real lack of plug sockets for modern devices. This is not a 4-star quality hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, but working in an institution that feels like it has been 'coasting' for some time; kitted out with common facilities that only look good in photos.

They set up breakfast for me extra early even before the rest of the guests because I had to leave to get my taxi at 6 am so they let me come down to eat at 5:30 before breakfast was being offered. I thought this was so amazing! Thank them greatly for the special accomodation. Bed could have been more comfortable but later I found out that none of the beds I slept in my whole stay were very comfortable even at other properties.

Cons: Our only complaints were the small refrigerator in the room barely got cold and when we pulled the cabinet away from the wall to check if it was plugged in, it hadn’t been cleaned back there in years. Absolutely filthy (cigarette butts, debris, dirt). However, if the refrigerator was working properly we would have never known. The rest of the room was very clean. (Carpet was a little rough, but not terrible)

Convenient location close to public transport, and with shops and restaurants nearby. Awesome place to stay in Athens before transferring to the islands. There's 2 metro stations 5 mins walking, stores, cafes, huge supermarket, kiosks, restaurants and nice and interesting bars.all of this would only take about 5 - 10 mins around the hotel. Excellent location whether you are exploring the city or staying overnight for getting to the airport. Lovely rooftop pool with amazing views of Athens, right up to the coast. Nice rooftop bar, with good food. Breakfast buffet was good and good value for money as well. Very happy with the President Hotel staff. We had an enjoyable stay with very smartly decorated top floor. Overall for the money you pay and the location of the property it is worth it.

Rooftop pool was beautiful and cold! Breakfast was simple, but varied from day to day. Air conditioning worked well and room was a good size. Close to transit stops. The booking indicated free WiFi, but that was only in public areas. You had to pay for WiFi in your room. Rooftop restaurant was very slow in getting food out. We were comped drinks and an appetizer, but still had to wait over 40 minutes for our entrees.

Pros: We felt most secure in this hotel near the US Embassy, as added security was visible around the blocks/area. The included Breakfast was very good. with lots of choices. It’s a Small charming hotel. Walking to restaurants & markets was easy. Very helpful front desk staff. They helped us with boxed breakfast for our train ride, taxis, directions, restaurant recommendations.

Pros: Spectacular Views of the Acropolis from my room and the Rooftop Bar/Restaurant. Great Olympic Sized Pool, exceptional Gym and Spa. The Executive Level Rooms were well worth it, with the included access to the Exec Lounge and dedicated Desk.

Cons: Hotel staff tried to walk into my room at the end of my stay first through the main door and then through an adjoining room door. My room was never called and they never asked if I was still in the room. All of this occurred while I was trying to shower.

We stayed here for a few nights before leaving for the island of Skopelos (which was beautiful). The hotel is very nice as are the rooms. It's what you would expect a Hilton to be in a big city downtown area--nice with rooms that are a little smaller than normal US hotel rooms. We stayed on the side of the hotel facing the Acropolis which is lit up at night and quite stunning. Do yourself a favor and get to the rooftop early enough to get a table. The view is fantastic. The food is quite good at the restaurant, and they stay up very late to accommodate their guests. Athens Hilton is a full service hotel that feels like a small hotel as you interact with the staff. The room was very clean with a modern design. The pool and gym were large, clean and well kept. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a must visit for the evening view of Athens and the Acropolis.
