Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel's central location, making it convenient for exploring the city. Many reviews highlighted the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast received positive mentions for quality, though a few guests found it lacking in variety. Some negative feedback focused on small room sizes, uncomfortable bedding, and occasional noise issues, but overall, the positives outweighed the negatives for most visitors.

There were ongoing renovations at the hotel which was making some noise but the staff had given us a heads up which was OK. However the air conditioning was not working and we had to ask for a fan on a number of occasions. We also had to ask for everything to be sent for 3 people as there were 3 of us staying in the room, every day. Otherwise the location is incredible.

Wonderful stay; great location for the center of Galway. Please note that the hotel was undergoing construction so it did create some noise, including in the morning.

Pros (+) The front desk staff were very helpful. We arrived later than we had planned and were concerned about being on time for a scheduled concert. We were checked in quickly and given easy directions for where we needed to be. The next day when we were checking out and inquired how long our parking voucher would be effective, Jan very helpfully suggested we wait to purchase it so that we could explore M...
Cons (-) The rooms were very warm, even with windows open.
