Chalet Inn puts you just a 5-minute drive from Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Balconies or patios and refrigerators are offered in all rooms.
Hidden Getaway
Pros: I really enjoyed the room . When we pulled up I ws afraid it wasn't going to meet my standards. It's a hidden gem. It is older but very clean an updated. The views are beautiful. We will stay here from now on!
Cons: I didn't like the lack of staff and the fact that you had to go down the hill to the Econolodge to check in. When we got there it was like a ghost town with minimal guidance. Some updates could be done with the front desk and signage.
Great Location by the entrance to the Park
Pros: The proximity to the entrance to the Park
Extremely Clean
Pros: The floors are tile and laminate. I really liked that, as I believe it's easier to keep clean and sanitized. The beds were comfortable.
The staff was very friendly. They have a breakfast that's included with your stay. A waffle maker, some muffins, bagels etc.
Overall a really nice place!
Cons: The walls were pretty thin. We could hear the guests beside us putting wood in the fireplace to build their fire.
The beds could use a couple more pillows each, as they are pretty thin pillows.
Lovely hotel in Old Gatlinburg
Pros: The views and balconies are spectacular. Very quick walk to everything in downtown Gatlinburg and to the Smoky Mountains. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful. Older hotel but it was clean, comfortable, and charming. Overall, this hotel is fabulous, as advertised!
Cons: As mentioned in other reviews, the front desk customer service definitely needs to be improved. However, a staff member named Lisa who worked outside was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we could tell she wanted guests to return.
Probably wouldnt stay again
Pros: The view up on the mountain.
Cons: The fake fireplace. The steep walk down to the main street. Should have free parking for all.
don't go
Pros: Nice set up if it was class an
Cons: Got there then had to go somewhere else to check in then got room there where spider webs in each coner and a spider in one food on wall and had a huge cockroach later that night.looks like I'll always stay at KOA camp ground from now on they have clean everything and also rent cabins cheaper than the room at the chalet inn
Ok for us
Pros: We just needed a place for a night and it was ok for that. I wouldn't have stayed there more than a night if my kids were all teens though.
