Pros (+) We loved how the building looked with its wooden interior giving the place a real Scandinavian feel. The staff were all dressed in Viking clothes and the evening entertainment in the restaurant was very Viking. Certainly lives up to its name.

Pros (+) We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Viking Hotel. It is just enough outside of the city center of Reykjavik to be away from business and feel a bit quieter, but still only a 15-20 minute drive to all of the city affairs. Having breakfast provided was great, and the atmosphere is fun and interesting. When we needed their help, the staff were very helpful and informative. The rooms were incredibly ...
Cons (-) The only thing I would say someone who is considering staying here should be aware of is that the staff checkout for the night by 8pm each evening. So if you have questions for the next day, you will definitely need to ask them before then, and make sure you have your room key to get back into the building after that point!
