Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport Hotel

Terrible wifi on the 3rd floor

Pros: Clean

Cons: Uncomfortable bed and the wifi only had a good signal in the lobby. I had a room on the 3rd floor and could not get any reception in my room which was very frustrating

Weird air conditioning conditions

Pros: Close to airport

Cons: The air conditioning would not turn on unless it was warmer than 18 C outside. This is some weird Dutch cheap money saving tactic that keeps guests warm or outright hot, and at the mercy of what it's doing outside. I paid for the room. Let me control the thermostat.

Very poor experience.

Pros: The morning breakfast was good with a nice woman offering to cook fresh omelettes. The indoor pool and gym were nice. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Good shuttle service.

Cons: The staff other than the woman at breakfast were curt to the point of rudeness. The rooms were outdated and not very clean. The rugs had stains and the bathtub was dirty. The overall feel of the room was univiting. The picture was of some sort of rusting metal object. Lots of flickering fluorescent lights in the hall and in the room. Very expensive for the poor quality. My family of four all thought it was hotel in need of a significant remodel and managerial improvement. Best Western should not put their brand on this hotel until it improves.

A hotel of last resort

Pros: In need of renovation. Corridor lights not working on two floors. Tired bedding and small beds. Poor decorative order.

Pros: the shuttle to the airport was nice

Cons: My refrigerator in the room did not work and they did not have an ice machine. The airport hotel really wasn't close to the airport. The airport shuttle did not run passed 11:30 pm.

Not terrible...

Pros: Easy access to airport

Cons: Arrived after a very long travel day. Staff was unfriendly, room was fine but sterile.
