The hotel is close to the beach.
There is not really a service, normally no laundry but than they made and you get it back after 2 days, sometimes longer. Only a few people from staff speak english. The cleaners very lazy, they only bring towels but don't clean the bath, all 3 days they change the bed sheets normally but sometimes not. The restaurant is ok but to expensive.
Great view to the beach and nice room and enough space.
Lobby was difficult to find when coming to the hotel for checking in. The room has not been cleaned proberly during our three nights stay, e.g. sand from the beach remained on the floor during our stay, cups havent been replaced and wet towel wasnt changed.
The hotel has a wonderful location! It's literally on Gwakji Beach with a handful of restaurants and cafes nearby. The establishment had a modern masculine design that gave a nice ambience with the sea. The beds were comfortable. However, location was the best part of this hotel.
Our first impression of this hotel was nice. Unfortunately with each night, more and more things were discovered. Staff: The staff is very rude and uninformative. The front desk was immediately rude to us because we arrived later in the evening. We had a late flight. However, I was ok with the rudeness because the owner intervened. He didn't apologize for their rudeness, but he sparked friendly conversation. Each time there after they were consistently rude. They didn't allow us on the balcony. They wouldn't let our friends wait for us in the lobby, minding you... we were both staying at the hotel and we were on the elevator coming down. To top it off, the owner called us after check out to pay for drinks from the first night that he initially provided as service. The staff overall killed the attractiveness of this place. Food: 18,000 won for chips. No need to say more. Room: We had double bed room with sea view. I like that the room had hard floors. However, they weren't that clean. Housekeeping doesn't come daily. It would be nice if there was a broom in the room because the sand constantly made the floor feel gritty. We traveled as a family. The only bathroom in the room doesn't have an actual door that closes. It's a nicely designed frosted door that doesn't close all the way. For a couple, this may be nice, but as a family of five, we needed a bathroom door that actually closed. Full size bathroom towels also weren't provided. The towels provided are hand towel sizes. When I also mentioned this to the owner, I was told to take air showers. (Whatever that means) The humidity in the room was also bad. We selected this hotel because it was on the beach. Therefore we would be swimming at the beach. However, there was no where to hang the wet swim suits and clothes. Add the humidity from the shower, the room was super sticky with a moist odor. Only one window could slightly open to air the room out.
Staff members were friendly. The room and public areas were very clean.
The breakfast is great . The coffee is wonderful . The owner can speak English and very professional. There are also Chinese staff there who help us a lot. Really appreciate it. Highly recommend it!
