Pros:The bed was nice, easy access to Kearney. Breakfast was pretty standard fair, the sausage was pretty greasy and the single service pancakes were rubbery.
Cons:As we came in the afternoon of our 2nd day there I asked the gentleman and lady at the front desk where we could get some bottles of water. The gentleman interrupted the lady and handed me one. I thanked him and turned to walk away and he got all flustered and started talking about making sure I was a guest and member. I told him my room and that that I was a Holiday Inn club member and he started trying to get all of my information to look me up, for a water. It had already been a long day and we just wanted to go back to our room so I offered to give the water back, which was refused, then offered to pay for it there, also refused. He just kept on about needing to make sure I was a member or something, so I finally told him that I really just wanted to go back to my room and if this water was going to be such a hassle then I'm leaving it on the front desk. He kept mumbling about something then threw another bottle at my wife. We just left for our room at that point very confused. As we were walking to the elevators we saw a lot of youth gathered in the cafeteria, in the main floor hallway and we could hear more in the pool area. We decided a trip to the pool/spa was out for the evening and ordered some food in. That led into some random noises from the youth from about 6pm till 8pm, not a lot. Mostly loud voices we could hear going to/from the elevators so it didn't bother us much. Starting just before 8pm however the youth that were in the room next to ours (as we found out later) and at least one other group from another floor started running/shrieking up and down the halls, banging on the doors to the room, slamming doors to the room and stairs and basically treating the hotel as their own private playground. I tried to catch the activity a few times as it was occurring to find out which rooms were the problem. It had started to calm down then just after 10pm the room next to ours opened the adjoining door on their side and started knocking on our door, followed by several more screaming/slamming/running events in the halls. This time I opened our door to the hall as it was occurring and yelled at all of the unaccompanied children to shut up and go away as it was almost 10:30 by this time then immediately called down to the front desk. When I identified my room and stated I had a complaint the gentleman on the front desk phone immediately responded with "the children?" so it was obvious that they had previous complaints about this already. I told him that it needed to stop immediately, we were leaving early the next morning and the last round of insanity had already woken us once. I was told it would be taken care of and that was the last I heard of it. Total lack of respect from the other guests/chaperons and total lack of initiative from the staff to deal with a very loud and disruptive issue.
