Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were absolutely top class and friendly! They even dropped me off to the train station!!!
Cons: Quality of the toiletries could be better..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our hosts were exceptional! They went out of their way to assist us. Our stay in Basel was comfortable and the hotel is close to trams and buses, restaurants and cafes. There was even a carnival up the road which had a fun and festive feel to it.
Excellent 10.0
I have stayed at much bigger hotel near Congress centre and this family run hotel gave me best service, ambience and confortness. Ivana warmly greeted me with free welcome drink and asked me if I wished to enjoy it in the restaurant or upstairs in the room. very kind and thoughtful as she knew I might be exhausted after 13 hrs flights and 1 hr train. She also reminded me the rain and land me umbrella if I need one. Yasmina brought me a whole bag with adaptors to make sure at least one of them is right for my plugs. Nicola the owner made sure we are taken care of and also sent us to the airport with no charge. none of them reminded me to write something here or on TripAdvisor. they just want us to be treated well and happy when away from home. this is fabolulous stay and thanks everyone! I wish I could be back again in future.

Pros: Excellent
Cons: Pretty much perfect
Excellent 8.5
If you are looking for a small, clean, spacious, friendly hotel then the Micro Hotel is the place to stay in Basel. It is a short walk away from the Basel Bad bf station which we wanted but in easy reach of the old town, especially with the free transport pass. The rooms are spacious and each with a large balcony, breakfast is simple but enjoyable. The main feature of this hotel though is the friendliness of the staff which is outstanding. All in all, we think the Micro Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The cleanliness of the generously sized rooms, friendliness of staff, the very healthy breakfast, and convenient WiFi totally won us over. We would highly recommend the Micro to anyone visiting Basel.
Excellent 8.5
As the name suggests, the Micro hotel is small with only a handful of rooms. The rooms though are modern, spacious, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. Both rooms had a balcony, very good beds, and a decent (free of charge) WiFi connection. Breakfast is served in the basement and offers a large variety of juices, cold cuts, bread, yogurt, etc. with newspapers to go with it. The true greatness of the hotel, however, must be the family that runs the place. Incredibly helpful and friendly, they will make you feel welcome the minute you walk in and will go out of their way to help you.

Good 7.0
Pros: Location fabulous and staff wonderful. Lovely sense of history. Amazing cocktails!
Cons: Room very small but of course based on original footprint. Breakfast staffing poor. Difficult to justify the price.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The Place and facility to walk in city
Cons: The star restaurant and the friendly personal
Excellent 8.5
To start we paid extra for the Bentley covered in graffiti to pick us up at the airport in Mullhaus, France. The money goes to a charity, so you feel good and get a great ride. The hotel is magnificent full of charm and character, they say Napoleon stayed here. The lobby and sitting area looks onto the Rhine that just draws you into a large beautifully furnished room reminding us of centuries back (picture of centuries back of course). In the cellar is a cigar room bar which you can get into with your room key, I don’t smoke but I may try one just for the experience after dinner. The hotel has the best restaurant in Europe, I’ll give you my opinion after dinner tonight. It’s a 3 Michelin rating, I’m excited.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: the room was very wide, clean and comfortable. the location was good, staff was helpful, would come back!
Good 7.0
Pros: Location very central, yet quiet; super large room including a day area.
Cons: Not the best breakfast, would have expected better quality and more choice. The scrambled eggs were dry, fruit juices not the best, and choices were quite limited in all respects. Complex hotel layout unsuitable for wheelchairs or persons with mobility issues (not my case, just a word of warning) due to the many stairs/steps
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice room, good location. We didn’t book the breakfast, because it was too expensive.
Cons: We missed facilities to nake our own coffee or tea, no cups, no watercooker. Difficult way inside the hotel to reach the room.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The very confortable large rooms with such a clever new design. The peace you felt the moment you went in. The staff. The possibility of having a not so varied breakfast for 5€
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean. Good location. Match with the description on website
Excellent 10.0
Pros: central position; good hotel satisfying our needs: good breakfast, quiet, clean and efficient.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very big rooms, very clean. Good service when we had to check in very late (after opening hours of the reception).
Cons: The wifi code didn't work but I had no time to follow up on that
Excellent 10.0
The hotel is ideal for a city break. Our room was comfortable, spotless and completely functional. Breakfast was very good indeed. Our only negative observation is that the hotel is almost too functional, it has no real character or splashes of color/art work/pictures to lift it from the ordinary. The illuminated map of Europe in the dining room is a lovely feature but is the only notable one in the entire hotel. A pity as the staff were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Excellent 8.5
I chose this hotel because I had never stayed in Switzerland before so didn't want to stay in a chain hotel. When I arrived I wasn't disappointed, it felt very Calvinist and upon my arrival I learnt that the original use of the building was an asylum for alcoholics. As a result they only have zero alcohol beer in the mini-bar. In terms of my stay it was really nice to have a genuine single room and breakfast was brilliant. It is well located and the staff will give you a free pass for public transport as well.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Wonderful location within walking distance of the river for people taking river boat cruises.
Cons: We were in the new wing so there were many stairs to climb.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Cosy bed. Electric blinds to keep the Sun out. Exeptional friendly Staff. Nespresso Maschine in the Room.
Cons: Bathroom Very small, could be a Problem if you are a Big Person.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. My stay was.short but my experience was an excellent one.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, nice staff, excellent breakfast, great location and complementary drink in the evenings. Nice personal touch as well with a birthday gift at check-in!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was really helpful and friendly. They took time to explain to do simple things like give directions. We also traveled with a pet, and they went out of their way to make it easy, setting out a blanket, and a bowl, and giving us options on rooms to make our stay the most comfortable.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent value for money. The staff was always very friendly, both during the day and in the evening (they made sure we had our welcome drinks and a few snacks, which was a nice way to wrap up our first day!). The hotel was well located, close to both the city center and the main train station. Comfortable room with nice amenities, and a very generous breakfast buffet. We had vinyl records and a record player in our room, which was an enjoyable suprise!
Cons: Our room got pretty warm in the first night (we had one without AC), and while we were already awake by the time the construction noise nearby started, it could be a problem to anyone wanting to sleep past 7am. The hotel did inform us about the construction beforehand though, and it really wasn’t a problem in our case.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely in the restaurant overlooking the garden.
Excellent 9.6
Very nice boutique hotel. Wonderful English speaking staff. Located close to the old Town, near many restaurants and shops. Close to the main train station, but it is an uphill walk, so take the 30 tram on short stop to get there if you have luggage.
Excellent 9.2
We received excellent assistance during late check in, breakfast staff we very friendly and served us efficiently, the day team at the reception was warm and friendly. Overall a complete satisfaction.
Excellent 8.5
First impressions are important and my check in was friendly and efficient. The front desk attendant actually brought me up to my air conditioned room. It was an AC-equipped room facing the street. It was very hot during my visit to Basel so I am glad I splurged on the AC (not all rooms have AC). Breakfast in the garden was lovely. The location is handy to the train station and to the central shopping and dining area of Basel but you do need to walk a few blocks. Last: this hotel is owned by a Swiss charity that serves the homeless and poor. Staying here makes a difference in someone else's life! I would stay here again.
Excellent 8.5
Awesome hotel great price and great location. Easy 5-10 minutes walk to old city center. If tired at end of day bus stops outside the front door. The hotel provides free bus/tram pass so you can easily get to the train station and then one bus stop beyond to hotel. At end of the day, you are met with a free drink and there is a great garden to enjoy it in. Twice we brought food and had dinner and wine in the garden. Great way to end the day. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was much larger then I expected and very clean and comfortable. Most TV channels I have ever seen in a hotel.
Excellent 10.0
The Steinenschanze is on a main road which could be a problem if you like an open window. Apparently rooms at he back are quieter but the outlook more restricted. Just one stop from the SBB station on the regular bus number 30 brings you to directly outside the hotel as you exit the railway station you can find the bus to your left and across the road opposite the number 50 airport bus. The welcome by the reception staff was very warm and helpful and the details of the hotel explained in clear English. The bedroom was small but had most of what was needed, the most obvious lack being a fridge. The shower had a curtain rather than a door. Unusually the mattress on the bed was a full double rather than two singles in one frame. It was certainly the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. Firm but very, very comfortable indeed. The breakfast room was large and airy and no doubt can spread out into the garden in the warmer times of the year. The choice of food was good and the staff, like their colleagues on the front desk, were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the old town but it's only a five to ten minutes' walk to the Barfusserplatz, the centre of the old town. In summary, it's an ideal city hotel with friendly, helpful staff and small but comfortable rooms. Recommended.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was professional, curteous, multi-lingual, and the front desk was always staffed. The hotel was amazingly generous with coffee, wine and snacks available throughout the day and evening. I also had free access to a computer and internet and a quiet place to settle in and work near the coffee, wine and snacks. A variety of international newspapers and magazines were available as well. Within just a few hundred yards I found the Marketplace, filled with shops, restaurants, and an art museum with an impressive collection of impressionist paintings (my favorite) was also just a 10 minute walk away. Did I mention there was free coffee, wine and snacks?

Good 7.0
Pros: elegant room design
Cons: bathroom too small
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The Junior Suite is comfortable, well arranged and extremely silent. Checking in and out was quick.
Cons: We had to wait for a long time before getting a table set in the breakfast room and actually had to ask twice for it. We missed a water kettle in the room for preparing tea, the nespresso machine does not do the job properly.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: superbly located, quiet and helpful staff.
Cons: the bed was too small 😞

Pros: central location, at walking distance of Altstadt (the old part of the city) the spacious room was super clean and the beds were comfortable the breakfast was very good and with many options, and the staff was friendly
Cons: no real complaints. the coffee machine in our room did not function, but it is a matter of having the staff controlling it when cleaning the room we had to park our car in a parkhaus nearby, but we were well aware that there were only a few parking lots close to the hotel

Excellent 8.5
We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Hotel Spalentor in Basel. Our room was spacious and modern as was the bathroom. There was plenty of storage in both rooms. We appreciated the fact that the hotel is air-conditioned. It is on a busy intersection and would have been noisy if the windows were open. It is well located, very near Old Town. The hotel has a lovely little garden to sit in for food and drinks. The included breakfast was excellent. WiFi worked great. TV channels in English were most appreciated. The young ladies behind the front desk were delightful--professional, pleasant and helpful. We give the Spalentor high marks.
Excellent 8.5
I booked this hotel for pre-stay before our Viking Cruise. The hotel was perfect and such a great price. The front desk staff were so very helpful and had great suggestions for dinner and things to do. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is walk able everywhere. I am also a travel agent and I am very picky. It is well located, very near Old Town. The hotel has a lovely little garden to sit in for food and drinks. The included breakfast was excellent. WiFi worked great. TV channels in English were most appreciated.
Excellent 8.5
Wonderful, clean, quiet and modern. Room was large and comfortable, comfortable beds, small terrace with view of Spalentor gate. Fresh fruit and sparkling water at front desk. Best were the young ladies at front desk, so helpful and sweet, helped with everything, including meal recommendations, transportation, extra pillows. Wonderful location at edge of Old town, near tram lines to other end of Old Town, bus to train station. Just delightful. Thank you for that wonderful stay!
Excellent 8.5
I was in the hotel for three nights. The room was perfect and big, with a nice view ans silent. The staff was great all the time. I used also the parking very close to the hotel for my car. Also the breakfast is very nice with a very good view on the tower! I booked this hotel for pre-stay before our Viking Cruise. The hotel was perfect and such a great price. The front desk staff were so very helpful and had great suggestions for dinner and things to do. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is walk-able everywhere. I am also a travel agent and I am very picky. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again, soon.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Nice large room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Included Tram day passes, but most sites were walkable. Convenient to riverboat docks.
Cons: It was noisy at night if the window was open, but quiet with it shut.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was in a good location. We had a corner room overlooking the city gate, so the view was pretty, but a bit noisy. The hotel was comfortable and the staff very welcoming. The only thing that needs upgrading are the towels. They were very thin and scratchy. Theven old town area was very charming, especially since we were there during the holidays. I would stay at this hotel again if in the area.

Pros: Staff were amazing, helpful and efficient
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location , very friendly staff , good bed and TV
Cons: I am every year in Basle and comment always the same : I would need a refrigerator ( not a Mini-Bar ) and I would even pay an extra amount for it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Quick check in and check out. Very clean, modern room.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Clean room, great convenient location
Cons: The location and discomfort of breakfast hunched over a coffee table rather than being able to sit at a table. Overcrowded which was also uncomfortable (physically and covid-wise). Staff weren’t very friendly, room was small for a queen size, it all felt cramped in and my shower was broken.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room and location
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, shower, design/interior, value for money
Cons: No coffee/tea-making facilities in the room
Excellent 8.5
This was our first stay in a Motel One and we were very pleased with what we got. The hotel is clean and modern. Probably one of the best located hotels I've ever stayed in. Right in the Centre of Basel and within walking distance of restaurants, galleries and shops. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Room was a very good size, but the bathroom a little small. Nonetheless, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet- large selection of breads, pastries, cheese, meats and yogurt. No cooked option but very good value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel right in the heart of Basel, next to shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. The rooms are a little on the small size allowing for the eaves in our room which limited head space but the shower and linen provided were first class. Don't expect a telephone in the room or tea and coffee facilities but still great value for money. Our welcome on arrival at 11 am by reception was great, being provided with our room even at that early hour and the barman was particularly friendly providing us with ice for our room and the latest soccer scores.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is very good, not far from the railway station and from the old town. The host is very helpful and the place is quiet and clean.
Cons: No objections.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice house, good service, pleasant owner, good location, good breakfast.....
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the location was close to the Aldstadt, once I figured out the way! Enjoyed the nice bathroom and the roof patio. It was nice to have the use of fridge and coffee machine, and to have breakfast set out for me. Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There were many stairs - not much can be done about that. The owner did help me get my things upstairs. I thought the room was great, but kept banging my shin on the corner of the bed. It might be better to have a smaller bed in that room, or possibly an arrangement where the edge of the bed is not so close to the wall. There was some traffic noise at night - cars and trains. I would wear earplugs or a headset, at least on the weekends.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host Adriana is just lovely, and the place is nice and clean. The bathrooms are really great. Location as well.
Cons: If I could wish, a little more for breakfast could be fantastic. But that's not a reason why I wouldn't book this lovely place again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place in the city but also on the way to the airport. Nice old building and friendly service.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is super clean, close to everything and very . pretty. Such a nice B&B!!! I really recommend it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is amazing! It is located close to the city center and stops of the public transport. Very clean and comfortable (there is a good kitchen as well). And Adriana is a very nice person! She can help with everything and make your feel like at home!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The availability and kindness of the staff. The quietness and excellent location of the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It exceeded all expectations. The room was of a good size and very comfortable. A large terrace overlooking gardens was a great unexpected bonus. I loved the location. It is situated in a very safe a quiet residential neighbourhood and with easy and quick connection to the centre. There are plenty of nice breakfast places and bakeries around. It was one of the best city hotels I’ve been to.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 1. Super fast email respond. 2. Seemless easy check in 3. Easy parking (paid off course) 4. Friendly staff 5. Very quite neighborhood 6. Freelow coffee/tea, microwave usage at lobby. 7. Common area with nice smells 8. The whole hotel looks like NEW that recently renovated. 9. Wonderful towel, clean bed sheet and super new clean room. 10. Comfortable bed and sofa bed.
Cons: The shower area in the toilet is a foot up split level. User need to be careful especially getting down from shower area with watery floor. I can only imagine an accident waiting to happen.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly, Flexible, Clean
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large room, comfy bed and fast easy check in/out. I'm also a fan of the free coffee for guest :)
Excellent 10.0
PROS: very central - bus #36 stop, which takes you into city centre and other tourist spots, is just a few steps away; big, clean room with balcony; in the middle of the community, can see how the locals live (I see preschoolers going to school in the morning);near Basel zoo; pleasant Italian restaurant at the ground floor ;owners Beni and Alexandra are very helpful, informative and just overall nice people. CONS: none.
Excellent 8.5
A small hotel with brand new rooms and bath. Clean and pleasant with a n excellent breakfast and friendly service. close to public transportation. A free transportation pass on the public trams is included with the room. Great local atmosphere, very personable staff. The small lift saved lugging heavy luggage up the stairs. A two-block walk from the tram, it's easy to get to everywhere you want to go in Basel. The room was quiet with modern appointments. No clock but we had our smart phones and travel alarm. We had a glass of wine in the attached bar each night, watching world cup soccer with the locals. Wonderful place to stay, and not as expensive as places 10 min. away by tram. We were given free tickets for the metro and directions for the way downtown. The metro station is just a short walk away and very easy to find. The ride into town a matter of a few minutes. My only problem with the hotel was the bed was a little too soft for me, but I like a very firm mattress.
Excellent 8.5
The hotel is about ten minutes by tram away from the Basel SSB station, which I feared would be a bit problematic. However, this is Switzerland, where the public transport system is so good that the location of the hotel was more an advantage than a disadvantage (not to forget, you get free public transport included in your stay). It is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is more or less what to expect from a hotel of this type, OK, but not luxurious in any way. The only thing we found a bit disappointing was the opening hours of the reception. We knew beforehand that it wouldn't be open all night, which is fine, but sometimes it would just close one hour or even before before schedule.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Nice parking. Friendly staff. Free transportation pass.
Cons: No air conditioning

Poor 1.0
Pros: - good location - comfortable beds - room as on pictures - lunch box prepared when we leaving early in the morning
Cons: - poor Wi-Fi - i reserved 2 rooms over a week before arriving and asked to pay for each separately and separated invoice. They changed me for 2 rooms but received invoice for just 1 room. I asked to change it but lady from evening shift said she cannot. So i asked night manager but he said he has no access to these data and cannot do anything. So i asked what to do: i paid twice and i was alone from my company (second room was from person from other company and i cannot pay for this) and do not even have any invoice for second room and night manager said he does not know XD. Yes, they charged me twice, didnt give an invoice and do not care. I did not received any answer from hotel yet so i guess they are not going to do anything with this and i will have to pay back to my company. Not sure about Swiss customer service standards but at this hotel they doesnt care at all. I do not recommend.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good location to reach the old town, perfect breakfast, secured parking available on-site

Pros: Facilities and courtyard charming. Room clean, modern and had nice view of gardens.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean, modern and very helpful staff near the Messehall with a short walk to the centre of Basel. A complimentary tram pass was a very nice initiative. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Trams go by and operate late/early in the morning. Bistro menu could have more variety of food options.
Okay 4.0
Pros: asked for a belter room ,, was told no . My company have stayed with full crew 3 rooms i was given poor treatment at check in. Room was cold. No water in room . extended my stay to be told the price was cheaper on booking dot.com long que to checkout
Cons: location

Excellent 8.5
Difficult to find the hotel & car parking as you think you’re driving up a road for trams. Good secure parking under the hotel. €24 is quite steep though. Nice welcome from Vivien on reception who was excellent throughout our stay. Room was spacious with a funky bathroom. Air con was good & bed was comfy. Loved the fact that we got a tourist pass for free travel on the tram. Hotel is easily walk able from the city centre though. Bar was soulless & restaurant was empty. Would definitely recommend hotel or stay again.
Excellent 8.5
We had a one night stop over in Basel on the way home and chose the Pullman Basel. We have no complaints whatsoever. The hotel is conveniently located for the center of Basel and is a very short walk from the tram. Reception was efficient and the whole corporate hotel thing kicked in. Good service, treated respectfully, nothing too much trouble and lots of facilities. The rooms were great with air con, comfortable beds, coffee etc. etc. etc. Breakfast had English style bacon. What a bonus on a Sunday morning!
Excellent 8.5
Nice pleasant hotel with staff who were accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom functional and clean. The Reception staff gave us the Basel card to use for free transport and discounts to the museums which was really helpful. Definitely the best value for money of all the places we visited in Switzerland.Classic hotel design with attention to detail, spacious rooms and bathrooms. If they would add a splash of color in the rooms they would be fantastic! Breakfast is varied and plentiful and the staff helpful. The location is very convenient, in the more modern part of the town but very close to the bridge that leads to the historical center.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice hotel downtown Basel, well located. Room is clean and comfortable, peaceful and quiet environment. Gym room is big, clean, modern with a lot of machines. Very worth the price and perfect for a couple getaway or a business travel night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I had the pleasure to enjoy one of the lofts. Very big space and quiet with a balcony. It's contains a kitchen with all needed facilities and it is possible to order additional kitchen utilities. The breakfast was perfect.
Cons: The sofa could be a little bit more comfortable and the distance to the 55" TV is too near and can not be changed ...
Excellent 8.8

No coffee maker etc. it was near the Christmas market though Problem is I booked the hotel because it had a spa and free breakfast Not sure why the room was not available. But it did not get what I paid for

Pros: Great place to stay. Clean and quiet. 10 min from the city center with the bus.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, pleasant location, benevolent service and more
Cons: Heating was off when we came so was little cold until we put it on and it heated. Also at this price we'd expect a refrigerator in the room!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location
Cons: casino like feel in reception
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the Room, it is a casino downstairs and is the only hotel with free shuttle to the EuroAirpprr
Excellent 8.5
Good location right on the bus line to the airport. I stopped here to leave my bags overnight with an intended check in the following evening. No problem! We took a quick day trip to Lucerne, then back to stay here the evening before our travels. Clean, comfortable. Welcoming desk staff. Otherwise, not special.
Excellent 8.5
Recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by the ever so friendly Antonio who ensured that we were taken care for our entire stay. There is complimentary airport pickup but it wasn't necessary because the public bus (No. 50) drops you right in front of the hotel. The room were clean and very spacious with the only downside being the air conditioning was not cooling properly. Apart from that the location was great and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Good 7.0
Pros: Well, for our purposes the perfect location. Easy, simple good to go. Do some shopping in the Rheincenter, watch a movie in the cinemas or go out and have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants near by. Then continue your journey. Our goal was Europapark :-)
Cons: As my room what quite near the elevator, you could notice the noise coming from the usage of it. Sad was also that the shower was not functioning at all. I did not care about it. But the hotel has a 24 hour reception and they would have gladly fixed the issue, iff I would have told them about.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: great location.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location was nice, with the access to tram line 8. The breakfast was nice too, the room was very clean, modern and had plenty of space. Sound isolation of the room was average, with noise often heard from the neighboring room. Shopping and restaurants were available right next door.
Cons: The main lady at the breakfast restaurant was too pushy, almost rude. I requested one large bed, however the room had two separate beds joined as one.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: clean,😋Food,😃staff, location very good
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything was absolutely perfect ! 24/7 ! electronic key, freee wifi, the and coffee, welcoming letter and so more ! Thank you again for the service !
Good 7.0
Pros: new renovated room
Cons: that it was not easy to get from parking to hotel on a 6th floor. but that can’t be changed
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly! Room was also very spacious
Cons: Parking is a bit confusing to find. We had to park on 6th Floor and then take the elevator down to the Ground floor, and then walk to the hotel entrance, take the elevator again upto the 6th floor. Seemingly the parking and Reception area are in separate buildings with no connection in between.

Pros: We were lucky to get a free upgrade, very friendly staff and nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast
Okay 4.0
Pros: location
Cons: not clean also the ventilation was not good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the location is good with only 15 mins drive from Basel. the hotel is located in a shopping mall with dm and a huge supermarket and restaurants (fast-food). parking is free at 6&7 floor. breakfast is good with various choices.
Cons: we got a room with smoking smell, and our pré-booked baby bed is not at room when we entered. no phone in the room. the front desk compensate us with free breakfast. the elevator to hotel located in a dark and small area aside the shopping mall. it looks not that comfortable but no major problem.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Everything was good
Cons: Alles war gut.
Good 7.0
Pros: Spacious room with kitchen, nice bathroom, sofa, cofee table
Cons: Parking is on the 6th and 7th floor and it is free, but guest have to get to the ground floor after car is parked than walk to the parking entrance and take elevator to the 6th floor of the building in order to get to the reception of the hotel.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large rooms
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff very helpful and speak English.
Cons: Too long a walk to the bedroom.
Excellent 8.0
This hotel is located right on top of a decent sized shopping mall where basically all the neighboring French and Swiss come to buy they stuff at a cheaper price in Germany. Expect a lot of traffic on weekends and holidays, but there is also the tramway within 50m of the hotel lobby. Parking is free (even overnight, which is great) and staff is nice. Didn't try the breakfast so cannot speak about that. Our room was a bit old but really huge and compared to other prices in Basel, definitely a lot cheaper.
