Cons: Twelve strangers in a small cramped space. One chair in the room with practically no place to sit even to put your shoes on. Not sure what all the rave reviews are about. Cleanliness is average for a hostel. Received polite service from one representative, the other could not have cared less if he was there or not. Free Internet did not work for me but I did not pursue the issue to fix it and I noticed others were using it. Average breakfast.

Pros: Everything is clean. Recent fresh renovation has the Hostel/Hotel looking tip top from bottom to top. Beautiful lounge. Kitchen. Sheets and towels are Included. Sink in room. Lockers in room (Bring own lock). Seperate room for showers and toilets, keeping your shower low key. Everything was wonderful.

Pros: We usually book better hotels which the plaza is. But the one advantage for this hotel is location. It is within 500 yards of the main train and bus terminal and a short walking distance to the heart of Oslo and the City Sentrum.

Cons: The hotel was very basic. We had stayed in a Thon hotel for two nights prior and this was much nicer. Breakfast had more choice and tv had more channels. The swimming pool is on a different floor to changing rooms so had to walk in a towel down some stairs. Outside lift was not working which my daughter wanted to use. Then found out lift was working but not for hotel guests.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, great WiFi, perfect location across from train station and main tourist road (Karl Johan Gate), close to many tourist attractions, room has a minimalist desk and chair for laptop/writing/books, etc. Was satisfied with my stay - being next to the train station and main subway station is perfect for getting in and out of Oslo as well as exploring the city by public transportation (and walking everywhere by foot is easy, too).
Cons: In less expensive cities could get more for your money (but Oslo is very expensive in general). Rooms are small but not too small for those just wanting a place to sleep. Very few amenities (e.g. no daily room service except for a fee, no breakfast, etc.).

Cons: The hotel rooms are very small, like staying on a cruise ship, economy class. The rooms are very spartan with a small beds, a desk, a chair and small bathroom. Otherwise, they did provide a good wifi signal. If you don't mind clean and spartan, this hotel would be great when in Oslo.

Cons: No coin laundry nearby. Be aware that this is a cashless hotel. That's not a bad thing, just don't plan to use cash for anything. The single room is tiny. Bed, restroom, entrance, area to step off bed--each make up a quarter of the room. The sink is too small to wash a shirt in. Don't plan to hand wash anything.
