Very boring hostel, not the traveller atmosphere

After several hours of researching, this seemed to be my only option available in the city. Overall it was ok, lift, great spacious dining and living area. Room was a little cramped, but ok, bed light, little shelve for belongs and air con.
Shower cubicles cramped. Kitchen...bomb site, not enough storage for food and cleaniness is lax. I booked another couple of nights, due to necessacity, I came down the following day to find a pigeon in the kitchen.....do I need to say more. The matter was dealt with swiftly, after I had reported it.

Room and bathroom facilities clean and neat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing seemed to be a hassle. After hours check in was easy! I felt safe

The location is really good. Just in city centre, close to everywhere. budget
Room is very small. My roommate is a lady who has already been living here for months. Her stuff took up the most of space in the room. And I realised from other reviews that so many people have been living here for a long time which cause other guests inconvenience if you share room with them. And I feel unsafe.
