It was like a dream! A little castle and a chalet in the middle of the woods right outside Strasbourg. The best place we've ever been to! We felt like royalty! It was amazing. Even for 2 days!

It's a wonderful choice for people who want unusual, quiet location (castle is located in the middle of beautiful old park). If I visit S. again I will choose the same accommodation. And Blackie the resident tomcat who likes to play made it extra special!
At the beginning I was unpleasantly surprised how far it is from the city center (about 4 miles). However, once you get oriented, it is very easy to get to the center by very affordable public transportation. You can even walk, it's pleasant enough.

The location. The friendliness of the staff. The quiet surroundings. Everything in fact. We hired bikes and cycled into Strasbourg,which was easy. We also used the park and ride with the tram which was less strenuous and cheap at 4euros 20 for the two of us for all day.
Nothing! Just could they be careful with sesame seed labelling on the bread for severe allergy sufferers like me.
