I prepaid but was forced to buy standard liability insurance despite me telling them I have my own insurance and declining it. The lady said it is mandatory in Texas. Came to know that was a lie. Also I booked with Visa credit card and it offers same,

This is one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve had. Kayak is terrible to get to. In spite of all the push ads I’ve received from them they have not responded and customer service telephone numbers give out wrong information and Europcar refuses to attend to my rental agreement changes stating that I’ve booked a 3rd party such as Kayak. So you guys do not add value. You just make life more difficult for car renters

Given the volume of cars they handle, I couldn’t believe how seamless the process was !

The car tires were almost flat and needed to be refilled twice over the course of the rental. The wipers needed to be replaced and an interior side panel kept falling off near the driver’s feet. It took a long time to get to the off-site location from the terminal, the check was time-consuming making the whole experience extremely long after arriving from an international flight. It is unlikely that I will rent from Crazy Clarks again.

Because they didn't run the shuttle in the morning I had to get a taxi back to the airport, which cost more than hiring the car cost.

Had to wait nearly 2 hours for the car. We were never told about the fuel top up and got charged a crazy amount, $4 per litre. Not a good experience, would not recommend. Also still got charged for the 2 hours when they didn’t have the car ready.

More friendly service when we dropped off the car. One of the staff was unfriendly to customers when we entered the place. The bus driver dropped us off at the wrong airport terminal. When he dropped us off we thought we were at the international terminal, but we did not realize we were dropped off at the domestic airport. He did not tell us. I really think Alpha Car Rental staff need to be more helpful and friendly to foreign customers who are not familiar to Brisbane.

I asked repeatedly for a response to my emails that I never received. Didn’t make me confident about changes to my insurance. Thankfully nothing happened

I booked and paid a deposit for a hire car. The hire care was not available to collect when I arrived at the airport. I have still been charged a deposit for this transaction.
