Ensure quality and comfort at a good price by booking a Queen Hilton Guest Room or a King Hilton Guest Room. Both rooms are around 36 sqm and have city views that can be seen in comfort from the sofa in the seating area. The only difference is that the king room has a slightly larger bed, but they both sport the Hilton Serenity brand. The rooms have free toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers for each guest, and there’ll be a walk-in shower or a shower over the bathtub, depending on the room set-up.
Hilton Adelaide serves a buffet breakfast every day between 06:30 and 10:30 in its on-site restaurant, The Coal Cellar and Grill. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the hotel and provides a full buffet spread, including freshly baked breads and pastries for the continental-style breakfast and traditional cooked items including bacon, sausage and eggs. The buffet also has fresh fruit and vegetables that you could blend into your own smoothie as well as breakfast options from around the world including noodle dishes.
The hotel is around 15min by road from Adelaide International Airport (ADL), and there are a couple of options. It’s easy to catch a taxi at the rank, which is just outside the exit from the arrivals hall, situated to the left of the pedestrian plaza. You can also arrange a rideshare option, which will collect you from the designated pick-up area to the left of the terminal car park. These journeys will take around 15min. A slightly longer but perhaps cheaper option, if you don’t mind walking, is to catch the Adelaide Metro bus. Catch the J2 Bus from Stop 10 which is a short walk from the terminal, and alight at Stop D3 Currie Street. The hotel is around a 10min walk from this stop.
There is an onsite gym that is open for guests 24/7. The room is filled with natural light and you have a choice of treadmills, stationary bikes or free weights and weight training machines. If you prefer to exercise outdoors, there is a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court – you can book a time to play via the reception.
Hilton Adelaide is well equipped to host events, meetings and conferences with around 2,300 sqm of event space, which can be split up into about 20 different spaces. The larger area is the Grand Ballroom, a pillar-less area of around 660 sqm, which can hold up to 800 people for a cocktail reception or 750 in a theatre-style set-up. There are also much smaller suites that could be used as break-out rooms or for boardroom or round-table meetings. The hotel will provide state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment for the meetings and will also assist with catering for events.
