Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent in every aspect, what more can I say?
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location. Room was large with huge bed and ensuite. Immaculatly clean. With large private conservatory for own dining. Wonderful Breakfast brought to own private conservatory.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Jackie is absolutely the best host I have seen so far. Her cottage is beautiful and exceptionally neat and well maintained. She was extremely prompt with her replies and made our stay absolutely perfect. The breakfast she makes is an added bonus. We had a wonderful time and will be back again. Georgie, her cat is the most gentle, friendly and beautiful cat I've ever seen. It's only a 9 minute walk from the train station and within walking distance to beach and town center, approx. 20-25 minutes.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, quiet and close to beach. Breakfast is a 10 out of 10.
Cons: Na
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were very impressed with the accommodation especially the large bedroom, bathroom and conservatory. A perfect place to stay, great location to travel to Christchurch or Poole. The owner Jackie is very helpful and friendly. She will go out of her way to make sure we are comfortable when we stay in her B&B. The breakfast serve by Jackie are exceptional. She even went out of her way the to buy yougurt for my wife's breakfast which is not on the breakfast list. It was the best B&B we have stayed in Bournemouth. We will definitely return again. You a star Jackie. Keep up the good work. If I can I will give you a 10.
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: space and location
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Jackie was lovely and welcoming & her breakfasts were excellent. Lovely and hot. It was nice to be able to have the two rooms , bedroom with en-suite and conservatory good sized rooms. Bed was nice and large but a little too frim for me. That's just my opinion as I suffer with a bad back. Even thou the location was in a built up area it was nice and quiet, easy to get to the town and not too far to the beach.
Cons: The shower did not have much power so was a little difficult rinse hair if you have a lot of it. not really a complaint it is just that our shower at home is a power shower.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: We had a ‘suite’ so that my kids were in a separate room and it worked perfectly so they could sleep and I wasn’t disturbing them. Brilliant! Duncan was so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and the whole place was bright and airy and upper clean.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was big, bed comfortable. Breakfast choice was very good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: About 30 minutes walk from town centre.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was very convenient for the seafront, the town centre and the buses. The guest house is spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast and a comfy room. Duncan let us check in a little early and was helpful with local information and maps. Lovely guest house.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Duncan - very nice guy, super-fab location , great breakfast
Cons: shower just a tad weak
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast, service, friendliness, location,
Cons: Breakfast, service, friendliness, location,
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Owner friendly and helpful, good breakfast with good choice of times.
Excellent 8.7
Good, modern b&b with clean, large rooms. only downside was breakfast which had a forgotten item which was a shame as had chosen the day before. Also, blackout curtains in the bedroom would be good as it was bright early and if you want a lie in it wouldn’t be possible.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Claire was lovely and very helpful. Although I did not spend much time in the room, the time that I spent it was great. And the breakfast was delicious!
Cons: Apart from being located a bit far from the city center, nothing else to add.

The gentleman who greeted us was so kind and warm, he set up a table for our takeaway and made us feel very ‘at home’. The bed was very comfy with a huge shower! We had a private lounge on top of a large bedroom. We couldn’t have been happier.
Cons: There is nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing stay. Friendliest staff who were really happy. Really nice ambience for breakfast and dinner. Great vegan options and amazing cocktails. Lots of freebies were provided in the room which was a really nice touch. Would definitely stay again.
Good 7.0
Pros: Just Needed a local Bed for the night. Friendly welcome. Good decor . comfortable room.
Cons: other hotel guests partying til through early morning
Excellent 8.0
Cons: More parking
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location for us was excellent - a short walk into the town centre. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and good value for money.
Cons: Everything was great!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms well decorated, shower was excellent powerfull.Only stayed one night
Cons: Had a single bed, could have been slightly bigger. Had to ask for the wi if code, not written in room. Not much info on food or breakfast in the room for the bar downstairs, though could have missed it.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast (veggie option) was lovely and a very generous portion size. The room I stayed in was the single and it was a good temperature, well equipped and the shower was divine - hot and powerful! The bathroom is tiny so a large person would struggle to use it. In all honesty, this place is a little too funky for plain old me but I was never made to feel out of place by anyone working there. The fire pit in the conservatory looked lovely but I didn't try it out as had plans for the evening already in place. LOVE that there was a door stop in the room - made me feel safer knowing I could lock the door and put the stop in place so even someone with a key wouldn't be able to get in. These little touches make travelling alone as a woman feel much easier. (I am not implying there was any indication I would be in any danger from the staff or guests there - it's just something I always do at hotels when staying alone but usually I have to resort to a chair against the door).
Cons: The bed was very firm, could use a mattress topped really, and the TV volume button didn't work so couldnt use the TV at night as it was too loud and I worried it would disturb the other guests. Parking is a bit of a squeeze out the front of the building.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The shower very nice and strong The wood furniture and the bed confortable The fact that you can make a tea or coffee plus they put 2 small bottles of water in the room We ask for a big bottle of water and they give us for free, very nice. The staff in the restaurant very friendly and help us with everything we need.
Cons: Don't have air-conditioned It's on top floor so very hot Not having a little fridge to have you own water cold or just put something in the fridge. The room was not properly clean, very dusty In one of the chairs by the desk was a dry orange skin, so make me think

Cons: Couldn’t find fault with it
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Modern and recent decor. Comfy bed and nice shower room. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: Insufficient parking and dining space for number of rooms. Very small bedroom. Pricey for what is was £100 for 2 people for 1 night...I run 2 bedroom self contained annex in New Forest National Park at £400 per week!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Absolutely pristine and decorated beautifully. The host was very friendly and does the best breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.0
The room felt very cramped. There were lots of wardrobes and drawers, but very little room to move around. The parking outside was also cramped, with insufficient space for 5 cars to park in a row, so we had to park offset, with the rear of the car on the footpath. Breakfast in a bag was adequate but not great.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic visit! Great location and wonderful facilities. The host was also super helpful with recommendations of the area
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: staff was amazing and really helpful, highly recommended to stay there.
Cons: Property was nice and clean, and easy to find.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was spacious, neat, the beds were firm , we all had a good sleep. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: oh, cant think of anything
Excellent 8.0
Pros: A lovely warm welcome instantly made us feel at home for a one night stopover. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Fresh fruit, cereals and very good full English breakfast set us up for the day.
Cons: Hard to fault the place really. The property is well kept, very clean but the area is a little run down. a hairdryer in the room would have been a bonus and I discovered that my room key allowed me to access the room opposite. Whoops. Could have been more embarrassing than it was.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: The shower was a bit small for my size 16 body. However, it was easy to switch on and it remained at a constant temperature which was excellent.
Excellent 9.6
Very clean ...very friendly......great breakfast ....reasonably good location . Some nice restaurants near by not the best looking but great food would def stay again 😁😁
Excellent 10.0
Impeccable clean room, quiet, safe. Delicious breakfast with cereals, fruits, yogurt and cooked option. They even offered us vegan butter and Alpro milk. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Everything was great, we cannot wait to stay there again. Highly reccomended. Thank you guys!

Good 6.7
Pros: Property was clean
Cons: We booked a superior double it had nowhere to hang your clothes , no draws , The room was so small We had lunch there and the food is ridiculously overpriced !! £31 for fish and chips and a burger !! Drinks were extremely expensive too
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. An extremely comfortable, high quality hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing and they are the reason your stay there is so good. As a dog friendly hotel, they go the extra mile to ensure that you have everything and they really treat your four-legged companion as a VIP. Restaurant excellent with good attention to quality and detail. Whole hotel very tastefully decorated. Highly recommended and we will go back.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was a superior double - it far exceeded what I had expected and certainly in comparison to some alleged 5 star hotels close bye (whom I have stayed) there did not have a patch on this place. Highly recommended and will certainly be going back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: friendly staff, welcoming and comfortable
Good 7.9
Pros: Very nicely decorated with nice amenities in the room. Food was amazing and staff very nice and welcoming.
Cons: My room was cold and faced the smoking area/outside area so was a bit noisy.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location for us, beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Loved the cosy room & little extras included. Yummy breakfast. Would recommend. 🙂
Cons: Only thing we felt rather disappointed with, was the extra charge for our tiny, disabled Chihuahua dog. We got a great deal at £52 for the night (incl breakfast). Stop-over on our way back from Cornwall. However, when we checked in, we were informed there was an extra charge of £25 for the dog for the one night. So equivalent to one paying adult, bar £1. Did say we were rather shocked, especially as we had emailed, when booking, to explain about our dog. We have been charged £20 extra per week staying in a holiday cottage for a dog, but £25 per night seems extreme. We did get it reduced to £20, but still - maybe discretional charge depending on size of dog & potentional mess? We bring his own bed & food etc.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: nothing
Cons: old and dirty
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Val was really friendly and kind to us. It is her great hospitality which will definitely make us book Waves In for my next trip to Bournemouth again.
Cons: Water pressure however we were well informed in advance about it so I can’t complain. The shower was clogged and Val immediately got her son to check on it and it was sorted instantly. There is honestly nothing not to like about tue property as everyone is kind and helpful.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The owner was friendly. The room was a reasonable size.
Cons: Both beds in twin room cheap and uncomfortable. Mine was actually broken with a huge dip in the middle! The bathrooms are shabby and in need of a refurbishment, although probably clean.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Didn’t have breakfasts as was meeting people everyday. The welcome upon arrival was amazing. Nothing too much too ask. Always quick to respond to requests.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice place
Okay 4.0
Pros: No breakfast
Cons: Shower was not working, no flexibility about the booking!
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Walls were a little thin
Excellent 9.1
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first booked my room at waves, I was a bit worried because it was close to Boscombe; but what a lovely surprise I had. The B abd B is close to Boscombe Chine gardens, about 5 minutes walk away down a quiet road. I was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me to my room, in fact it's so nice it's given me a few idea's of how to spruce up my own flat. I love the sea and the ocean and that is what the theme of the hotel is, I just loved the beach hut coat hook, that i'm going to get one myself (I think Amazon sell them). Even the room keys have a naughtical feel. There are two shared bathrooms, one had beach hut wall paper (which is brillient) I like the pebble lamp in the room and the mirror with the ships rope encircling it. There are tea/coffee making faciliti's in the room plus a TV and wardrobe, the do not disturbe signs are an added bonus. There's a bus stop within easy reach of the hotel and the owners are the most loviest people I've ever met. I plan to stay there again, and won't be looking at any other hotel. What a wonderful gem and it's a lovely hotel.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nothing, it was lovely
Cons: Lovely place to stay
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were super friendly made you feel extremely welcome and at home loved how you have your own little coffee machine in your room too and adored the little sound box that made rain type noises to help you sleep. The box also had a lot of things in which other hotels don’t have. It was lovely there and didn’t feel like a hotel at all felt more homely.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely clean room. We had our pet dog staying with us and wasn't sure if there would be any residual pet smells in the room from previous occupants, but not at all. Room was really clean and smelled very clean and fresh. There was a lovely gift box for our dog, which we thought was a really nice touch.
Cons: Quite a bit of noise outside late at night. Nothing to do with the hotel at all, but it was a warm night and really needed the window open, so we were disturbed by the noise unfortunately.

Pros: clean, good breakfast good parking, comfortable bed
Cons: no hair dryer and lighting in room not brilliant
Good 6.0
Pros: location & price.
Cons: poorly maintained rooms. lots of chipped paint work and cosmetic damage in rooms. noise from gym very loud.
Good 6.0
Cons: being charged to use the swimming pool. This was not expected. Last time we stayed it was free
Excellent 8.0
Pros: comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and good shower
Cons: some of the fittings in the bathroom looking a bit tired and need some renovation
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location, comfort, facilities
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: pleasant
Cons: nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: Location is easy for main roads both in and out of Bournemouth and good links for surrounding cities
Cons: The bathroom was very shabby , rust around the top edge of the bath and smelt a little damp , definitely in need of some TLC I’m sorry to say , also being charged £15 for a later check-out is expensive equating to 20% of the overall room rate and the room we had most definitely was not worth the £75 paid .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was good. Facilities good. Food good had an evening meal but didn’t try breakfast as we used Starbooks as wanted to get out & about sharpish. Shower was amazing. Room size excellent. Big carpark but £5 a day.
Cons: No decaf coffee sachets. Having to pay to swim could this not be part of the room fee if you are actually staying for a few days. Starbooks didn’t have a lot of food due to waiting for a delivery. No cash only contactless or card payments. No problem for us but older people were struggling to use the food ordering system & booking in.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hotel has a policy to overbook 3 rooms a day, so chances are you might be without a room like it happened to us. Avoid avoid avoid
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Noise, Didn't realise it would be full of young people celebrating hen and stag weekends.
