Super comfortable bed, great views over the water, calm and convenient area.
The room we were in was a bit cramped, maybe 1-2 feet between the foot of the bed and the wall. Might be worth the upgrade if that’s a problem
Breakfast, rooms, location,
Reception Staff, faulted to fulfill passengers needs, bad temper, bad attention. Awful experience
Parking was expensive
Good hotel in great location.
The location was excellent, near canals and cafes and the concierge staff was very helpful.
My room had beams that kept me from easily getting out of bed, and I hit my head badly on one just sitting down in the chair. My phone had been turned off by the prior occupant, and so I missed my wakeup call. The maids should have looked for that and restored service so that didn't happen.
This is an iconic hotel on water in the very center of the city. Ofelia Plads is right next to the hotel (with tango on weekend nights in the summer). The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen (but it can get crowded if you go there at a wrong time).
The rooms with windows facing the street, as opposed to water, are less nice and noisier.
Terrific accommodations
Great location in Copenhagen. Close to shops, restaurants and other sites. Clean and historic style hotel. Plentiful buffet breakfast.
Not as expected
The location was good.
Mold in the bathroom, tiny windows, dungeon like feel walking to the rooms. Musty smell, overall dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
We really liked the location in proximity to restaurants and sightseeing. Also the decor/look and feel was nice with the brick walls and old beams. Very comfortable and spacious compared to other Copenhagen properties.
The staff was just okay.
Spiral staircase was inconvenient, and room was ho
Beautiful rough hewn, 12" x 12" beams throughout; multiple skylights with custom coverings; easy access to taxis.

Good
cool hotel in good location with friendly and efficient front desk staff. Close to great shopping and good sites. Easy to get to from public transit.
The hallways to the rooms sort of ruin the "luxury" impression of the hotel. The thick walls of the original structure run right through them, so they're difficult to navigate and closed in. I think some people would like the mystique of it, so depends on your view of that sort of thing.
Great one of a kind hotel.
The architecture is a great mix of old world and contemporary. The wood ceiling and support beams in the guest rooms and the brick arches down the center of the hallways make this a one of a kind location.
Not a lot of dining options. The brunch buffet was a bit pricey.
Easy to find your way back to. Not far from food and shops. A neat place to stay, wish we had the time to stay longer.
Corner of the bed sticking out where you bump your shin and trip as you pass through the room. A bit narrow between furniture and bed.
CloseProximity to several restaurants. Our rooms had view of the water
Queues for breakfst on Sunday morning. No air circulation when showering. No tea/coffee making facility in room
bar service was not at the best
The building has old-time feeling and the room was both comfortable and spacious. Staff was very kind and helpful, and - in a Danish way - casual which you seldom find in a four-star hotel. The location next to Nyhavn is splendid - a lot of nice restaurants really close to the hotel and an excellent "boat bus" that takes you to the opera house in just a few minutes. And you don't have to walk very much to be at Ströget...
Do not actually complain, but... The walls between the rooms seems to be quite thin, so we were very happy that we didn't have loud neighbours. And the breakfast buffet was somewhat plain for a hotel in the four-star category - sufficient though.
I liked very much the accomodation, the centrality of the location, the courteous efficiency of the reception staff and the clean.
I did not like that the cost of the breakfast is a part from the room amount and that I had to pay for the use of internet
Everything was quite good
location on waterfront , close to Neuhaven restaurant area and mermaid , well converted with quality rooms and the old corn warehouse structure still intact
would stay there again when in Copenhagen
Nice room - good view - very quiet
Yes, The provision of wireless internet access. Wireless was only available in blocks of two hours which was very inconvenient. If only needed for 15 mins, two hours had to be paid for - and it was very expensive. Normally I will not stay at an Hotel that charges for internet access as a matter of principle - it should be provided as a matter of course - like TV. I don't pay if I watch the TV set in my room. I made my view known at the reception desk but did not fill in the guest questionaiire, which was an inadequate small form.
location,breakfest very good selections
internet facility
the location by the water and friendly staff
poor selection of wine by the glass in the bar
rooms comfortable - good cleanliness -
too much expensive
