Pros (+) I liked the location. There is a Valero adjacent to the hotel and a CVS across the street. The intersection is not a busy one at all. It was a quick trip to Padre Island and downtown as well. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly - albeit a little reserved. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the suites were a good size and had a cold fridge and nice size...
Cons (-) If I have to choose something to pick on, it would be the parking lot. However, the last two hotels I've stayed at in Corpus (La Quinta by the airport and Embassy Suites) had the same problem so it's certainly not an issue isolated to Comfort Suites. If you arrive back to the hotel from the beach, movie or a late dinner after 9 - 10 PM, you will most likely find that there are no available spaces ...
